I'm mad cuz I walked over there. She was like, "Why is you doing all that?" I'm like, "Wait, girl, what is you talking about?" Oh, because I walked that way. >> You're leaving? >> No. HE GOT TO TELL ME WHY I'M FIRED. >> HE GOT TO TELL ME WHY ON FIRE. >> I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant. Don't play with me. >> Losing a job is one thing, but how you handle it can change everything. These employees get fired and won't leave the workplace, and it turns into a bigger problem. This employee made the worst decision of his life. On January 18th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a Walmart after an employee was fired for fraudulently activating lottery tickets and cashing them out at multiple stores. Here's what happened when officers questioned him. Do you have any brown bag? All right. So what happened? >> I just was irresponsible man. I was taking books. You were taking what? >> Uh scratch off. >> Okay. >> I took them and I was scanning them out to activate the books. >> Okay. >> And I would go and redeem them. >> Where did you go to redeem them? >> Publix. >> Mhm. >> Publishers. >> Publix. Is there a specific location or >> No, I just various publicities. Which one? The last publishing yours? >> I honestly I don't remember. I I've done it. >> When did you start? >> December. >> December. >> How much money in total was you? >> 40,000. >> 40,000. >> Yeah. >> Why did you Why did you do the money? >> Honestly, invest in my business. You made videos. >> How much money you make here? >> Every week? 400. >> 400 every week. >> Not every every two weeks. >> Every two weeks. $400. >> Yeah. How are you surviving with that? I'm not It's not an excuse to do that. >> No, I I I get it. It's just >> You're working part time here. >> Yeah. >> You have kids? No. >> You have a girlfriend? You live together? >> Cuz she works. >> She works. >> Okay. So, you >> It's tough. I don't know if I can find $200,000. $200 >> that $2,000 $100 every two weeks. How many hours you work here? >> Uh, I was working 30 hours a week, but after Christmas, like multiple jobs, >> I always wish I cut. >> So, let me ask you, why did you do that? >> Needed the money. >> With how often he was cashing them, he managed to take out over $40,000 before anyone caught on. So on the regular basis, how many scratch off you how many tickets you will scratch you to get? >> Um it would be like five to six. Five to six. How much money on average started in December today? >> You've been doing this almost every day. >> You know, you still run from the state, right? Not just from Walmart. >> I know. I'm just ready to pull it back. >> Okay. >> And total 40 $40,500,000 >> December. When was the last time you took something? >> Last time. Yeah. Last week. How much money was that? >> How much? >> Like 2,000. >> So you never been arrested? >> No. Right now. >> I mean, I'm not saying it's good. It's not bad. Listen, I was the same way I was on the street. >> The same way I was with them there. Like I'm just >> You're not a bad person. It's just bad. >> Yeah, that's right. >> So, just learn from it. All right. I'll take you to our station and we'll take it from there. Okay. >> From there, the suspect is brought to the station for further questioning with a detective. See >> anyone? All right. Detective Gilmore. >> Uh, the deputy that I guess made contact with you, Deputy Charles, Reggie Miranda. >> Yeah. >> All right. And you want to talk to me about what happened? So basically I worked at the liquor store and for the last month and a half I was scanning in scratch off tickets and taking >> Explain that. What do you mean scanning it? >> I'm not scanning it. Activating like I >> like someone purchased them. >> Um when I say activating I mean like activating the book itself and basically I I would take them >> okay >> after it being activated cuz once it's activated you can scan it and cash it out and everything like that. and I was cashing them out at various places. >> Okay. When did you start doing this? >> Um, it's been about the better half of 2 months, I think. >> 2 3 months. >> So, November. >> Yeah. >> Thanksgiving. >> I want to say that. Yeah. >> And this is all at the same place? >> Yes. What kind of lottery tickets? >> Uh 500. The $50 orange $50 500 times cash. >> So you pay $50 for a ticket? >> Yeah. >> Each ticket cost 50 bucks. >> Yes. >> $50 tickets. And what's it called? $50 >> 500 times. Guys, >> this goes beyond a minor case. Each book was valued at $1,500. And by cashing several of them each day, the total stacked up quickly. >> All right. So, I'm going to lie. They they got video of you doing all this. How much you think you took in two and a half months? >> Well, like the number of month tickets or I mean the number of scratches, >> the number of money tickets. Uh the value, you know, each ticket is 500 bucks. So, 10 tickets $5,000. So they I4 $40,000 worth >> is what I was told. Yes. >> You were told? >> Yeah. >> How much is in a book or a block? >> Each each book cost 1,500. >> 1,500. How many books did you take? >> I don't know that by heart. >> So that would be what? 30 books. How big is a book? >> It's like this. >> It's like that half an inch to an inch. >> Yeah. >> So, and you take one each time or what you do? >> I take a couple. So, four to six each time. >> Four to six. And so that would be that's $9,000 time. >> Yeah. >> How many times did you do it, do you think? >> I did it too often to tell the exact number. >> Okay. Well, I will be able to tell you once I get all the video code, they said they got you back doing it for months and they estimated 40 >> $40,500 >> $40,500 what they estimated. >> Yeah. >> At this point, what's even more surprising is how easily he was able to turn those tickets into cash without any problems. >> And it was all from that Walmart liquor store. >> Anyone else do it? >> No. What do you do with the tickets? >> Cash them out. >> Where? >> Publix is >> any Publix? What Publix? >> Any Publix? >> Particularly where do you usually go? >> I didn't have a specific area that I stuck to. >> Did you ever stick to one Publix? >> No. >> I mean, like consistently go to that one like five times and just randomly. >> No, it's just at random. >> You didn't go to like one your house a lot? >> No. >> And what happens with that? You just go there and they give you the money. So, if you have Well, if you get $9,000 a book and say half of them win, how much is that? >> What do you mean? Like, like how much? >> You pay $500, $50 a ticket. >> Mhm. >> And it it if you win, what do you get? $500 or more? >> Sometimes it'll just be 100, sometimes it'll just be 500. >> It's just 100 to 500 at the most. >> How much do you think you got total? on cashing these things off. >> I think that amount is right. 40,000. >> 40,000. >> Yeah. >> But if you took $40,500 of tickets, it's it's got you must have got more than that. >> I probably I'm not like like the the I don't know the numbers. I'll say this. I I did everything, but I don't know the numbers of like the exact amount to to the dollar. >> And they give you cash. Cash? >> Yeah. >> What do you do with the cash? Uh, pay bills. >> Don't you checking account or anything? >> Yeah. >> What checking account did you put it in? >> My Chase Bank account. >> Chase Bank. >> Yeah. >> What bank you bank at? >> Chase? >> No, I mean which bank? >> What do you mean? >> Which branch? >> Oh, I don't have a specific branch. >> Where'd you open your account? Um, I want to say Pines Boulevard in Sunrise. >> From here, the detective looks into the exact places where the exchanges happened. >> Pines Boulevard. >> Yeah, >> there's no Pines Boulevard in Sunrise. >> Okay. I get laughed at all the time about how bad my my um directional skills. >> You remember what city? It should be Plantation. So, okay. Do you are you familiar with the Plantation area? >> Sort of. >> Okay. So, do you know where Brow Mall is? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, the Chase in that area by Fridays or >> Yes. >> down by 595 >> by Fridays. >> I'm just guessing there's a chase there cuz everything is in that little block. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No, there is. Like I know you're probably looking for a different way to explain that, but >> uh how much of money you have left? >> Nothing right now. I spend maybe a,000 or four 4,000. Probably $4,000 at most. Yeah. Did >> you do it with anybody else at all? >> No. Me? >> No. There's no one no accompllices. You're not giving the tickets to anybody. You're not selling them. >> No. >> How'd you come up with this idea? >> I just thought about random day how I get more money. I did it myself. Would you Tik Tok or something? >> No. >> Television? >> I did. >> Just very creative. >> I guess you could say that. Yeah. >> For someone with no criminal history, this is a serious first offense. >> You ever been arrested? >> Nope. Never. Not once. >> Who do you live with? >> Uh, I don't live anywhere. I live with my spouse and at her house. Not her house, but her family member's house. >> And you're thinking married? >> No. >> You live with your girlfriend? >> Yeah. >> All right. All right. >> In the end, the suspect was charged with secondderee grand theft. However, the court decided to withhold adjudication. Instead, the suspect was given 5 years of probation and was ordered to pay $40,500 in restitution with a possibility of avoiding a felony if he completes both conditions. Employee gets fired then gets arrested moments later. On December 19th, 2025, officers in Sukakus, New Jersey were called to a commercial property after receiving a report that a recently terminated employee had allegedly caused a disturbance. Upon arrival, they wait for him to exit the establishment before making contact. What's up, bud? >> Stay right there. >> Okay. I was screaming and yelling at the lady. >> Okay. Before what started this one, >> she she saw me punching the clown. She went in the computer and I herself and then told them I didn't I didn't punch out. I punched in 255 and she was like, "No, sign this paper." I said, "Ma'am, I've been here since 5:00 in the morning." So, they kept going back and forth, back and forth. I just said, "You know what? Can I quit?" They said, "Well, call the police." I started to scream. I said, "Call the police. Do what you got to do. I'm exploiting myself out." I said, "I ain't touch nothing. I didn't steal nothing. I have a word of mouth. about it once, not twice. That's all I said, sir. Listen, you have every right to be upset. >> I punched the I just left. I didn't hurt the body. I didn't touch nobody. I didn't steal nothing. If you want to check, I have no problem with that. >> You don't have any weapons on you, dude? No, sir. You mind weapons? >> You can check anything you want, sir. >> Just going to patch you down, right? >> You can tell me no. If you don't want me to >> just so that we're all safe here. >> No, no, no, no. >> I don't want to show you. That is not what we want to do to you, huh? >> All right, you're good. You're good. >> You can check my bag if you want. >> Oh, no. We just need your ID. >> I'm not going to lie, I don't even have my ID. I don't I don't have my ID. I was working here. I live in Jersey City. Want my name though? My first name. My last name is Director. >> To their surprise, he's cooperative with his details and the questioning starts off without any issues. >> That's all it was. It was just me yelling very loud. I Only reason we got cold is because I guess you got loud. >> I want to sit down, brother. I saw that. I saw y I came down and talk to y. So I mean if you want to talk to I'm telling the same story that they're telling I'm telling this young property. >> So what's going to wind up happening is I don't know if there's damage to the lock for they would have the right to we go in there and there's damage in there on the locker and that's all you did. We're not going to arrest you for that. they would have the right to pursue criminal charges for that. That's not something we're gonna address. Uh but we would have to document the whole >> I'm asking for >> I'm just gonna ask that you give me you've been very blocked. Just give me all your correct information. >> Yes, sir. Matter of fact, here you go. >> It's only Buen because it's too short. My name's too long. Buen is my first name. Durant is my last. >> Okay. I live spell the rest of the >> B U N A V E N T U R A. >> I apologize. I did not get any. >> B U E N A V E N T U R A. >> First name is Gwen Ventura. Last name is Durant. B U R A N. Birthday. address. >> Do you know your social by any chance? >> After giving his information, he willingly explains what happened. >> All right. That's like I said, let's just figure out what their end is. Uh if there's damage to the locker, again, we're not going to arrest you for today. >> No damage. There's more damage to my hand than >> No, no, no, no. Sure. No, I'm 100. I have to come out and check it out. >> No, no. This was actually stitch this much stitches, so it just got healed up. >> Yeah. So, I'll be honest, very honest with you. That's how it was. The lady messed up my whole time. She said she wasn't paying me. I'm like, "Ma'am, I've been I got >> What was the issue that she wasn't paying you?" >> Okay. So, I went to lunch at 158. She forced us to punch out. We were supposed to wait till 2:00. She said, "Punch out now." Okay, punch out. They gave us 1 hour lunch. All I did was time to go back to work. All I did was punch back in. Sorry. All I did was punch back in, sir. At 2 At 255, I punched in. At 255, I saw my name Ben and the computer says Ben Durant. Punched in. Thank you. Go clocked in. Go back to work. All I did was This is toilet paper in here. I bring my own toilet paper from my house. Okay. So, all I did was bring toilet paper to the bathroom. I used the bathroom. I took a number two. Obviously, soon as I come back, she goes, "You didn't punch in. You're not getting paid. You're late. I need you to sign this paper. You are late. You're not getting paid." I said, "Ma'am, I punched in 255. Please look at your cameras." "No, you didn't. You're not getting paid. I don't care what you saying." She just had a snotty attitude and walked off. I got I'm going to be honest. I got tired of her already from a whole week. She just mad disrespectful. Then I told the boss himself, >> I'm not going to even lie to you. I cursed the boss out. Cursed him out. Won't even sit here and lie and waste your time. I cursed him out. or you threaten anybody you're talking. >> Won't sit here and lie. I I did tell SM you're playing. I won't even lie to you, bro. I think I might have just said >> I said I slap. Won't even lie. Won't even sit here and waste your time. >> Okay, >> that's all I didn't say I youud. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no. All I said was, "Ma'am, you don't know me." I said, "Ma'am, I slack." Said, "Don't play. I got two kids. I've been here I got here 4:30 in the morning. I've been in here since 5:00. You guys had us." All I told the big boss was, "You had me work 8 hours before giving me lunch." I was like, "Normal hours, anything after 10, it's 4 hours, a 15-minute break." >> He admits to losing his temper inside, claiming he punched the lockers and slammed the doors. But it turns out he was already fired before the scene at the lobby. >> And he was like, "You could go now." So I said, "What are you firing me for?" I said, "I never I didn't abandon my job. What are you firing me for right now?" "Oh, we can't go on like this." I said, "Because your your personnel messed up my hours and don't want water, baby." I said, "I'm just asking you to please fix my time." So, as I'm leaving the street, he goes to fix your time. I said, "So, this is what it took you to do it." So, I ain't going to lie. I just told I said, "You piece of" And I said, "And I'm not going to lie." I said, "That's my money." So, I slam. That's all I said. I walked out. I punched the locker one time and I slammed the lock and I walked. By the time I got down here, y'all was already down here. >> Oh, yeah. We're here quick. >> Nobody touched. Didn't know. I didn't say I was going to shoot somebody. I was I never said no threat. no threats besides the slapping his face with me. Okay, that's fine. >> And I don't that I'm not going to hit no female. Let me know how it go. I'm just angry. >> It's the holidays. They keep doing day by day by day. >> I'm one of the fastest packing workers. I told him I do 800 packing a day. Don't not even your full-time workers do this. And he was like, "No, you're right." But I said, "Why is she playing around with my money and my time?" I said, "I've been here almost eight straight hours already. Then you set us to lunch after eight hours." I said, "Come on. This is not right." Yeah, >> they had an attitude. So, I called one back and I guess my attitude got me fired. So, that's what it was to be honest with you. >> Just hold the desk and give them their infoke run off. >> And then I already knew I'm going to ask you to be very honest with me. So, I don't I don't think you're going to lie. Do you know if you have any active warrants? >> I don't have no warrant. Check my name. >> We're going to The only reason we're going to is because you did make statements that you you said you were going to slap her again. Again. >> Hey, do your procedure so I have no problem with that. 100%. >> Okay. Do you know do you drive? >> No, I don't. >> Okay. So, no tickets or anything like that? >> No, sir. Nothing at All right. So, you're going to be clear that. All right. >> At this point, the officer walks him through what comes next. >> So, like I said, what's going to wind up happening is we have to do a report here. It is it is what it is. >> I'm not coming back after here, though. >> Well, I was actually going to say if if they were willing to give you your job back cuz it seemed like they were willing to fix it. Would you be That's out the window. >> I'm sure that's the window. >> Now it is. Yeah. >> No, but >> it's a holiday. I don't want to see you walk away from the job during the holiday. It's not that uh you'll be honest. Every man does need a job. I do need a job. You're right to, you know, to support my family, my kids, and everything. But >> I rather I say everybody has a breaking point. I get it. I got the way they treat people, man. Like I'm telling like you're treating people wrong. It's like >> don't deal with it then. I'm like, you're right. I'm not going to deal with it. So I'm not sitting here make myself look bad. I did go off, sir. I did go off 100%. I appreciate you being honest. Hey man, you said this has been you said this has been ongoing and it's been building. So >> I didn't even want to waste your time. Soon as I saw I said oh they're for me. I told I said they're for me. I said I want to go talk too. So it's two sides to a story. You're right. Correct. >> I'm in the wrong 100% I'm in the wrong. It could have been better ways. >> Could have been it could have been handled better. But >> I'm not going to lie to you. I couldn't hold it no more. >> Listen and that's what I just said. Everybody has their break point. I could put no more. No more. As long as you didn't put your hands on anyone. >> No no no no. Not at all. Everything's on camera. Everything's on camera. >> Good. >> They're starting that process now. >> No problem. So, we'll first name. >> Yes. >> Can you go with that last part about the transition? our reputation for us. >> No, sir. Not at all. >> I believe 33 different. >> Moments later, the officers issued the trespass warning. >> So, uh, Officer Back just informed me that you are trespassed, not allowed back. >> I have no problem with that, sir. Fine. I I I'm telling you if if you come back, you'll be locked up. Exactly. >> I won't be back. >> And what's And they they're requesting that you don't get the bus right here. So if anything, we could drive you to the train station cuz they have the bus. >> I'm not going to lie. >> You know what I mean? >> The only reason why I can't >> I take the bus. >> What I'm saying is they have a bus terminal. >> Oh, bus terminal. >> Yeah. So, we'll just take hits the train station. The only thing I'm going to do is hot or hot. >> I know that. I know that. But just for everybody's sake, we'll drive you to the train station that way. >> Is it going to bring me back to J? >> True. Yes. >> It's the Yeah, it's the depot. So, it should go or even better. >> Where? >> You bring me to the hospital, across the street from the hospital. >> Wherever you want to go down this little warm out. >> Listen, your your story matches up with what they're saying. >> Yes, sir. >> Uh, based on everything, you're not allowed back. >> No problem. >> Come back, get locked up. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Um, you have any warrants or anything like that? All right. So, we'll be out here in a couple minutes. >> You want to go to a bus stop by the hospital? That's absolutely >> Yeah, man. I'd rather, you know, we're all on the same page then. Okay. Appreciate you, man. >> Thank you, man. >> No, I'm sorry. I gave it to You're good. >> Yeah. So, just give us a minute to confirm. As soon as we confirm, I'll drive you to the bus stop. >> Another officer comes over after speaking with management and he's just as willing to listen to the suspect explain his side. >> No, but me, I was just telling I was bro caucus please don't play around. >> That's correct. We do not. >> I like their reputation, but don't know. If I would have came with an attitude, y'all would have had a triple time attitude. And then I saw you. I don't want to get fired. Listen, man. That that that little device, man. >> The only thing that hurts me that will backfire on me is just losing the job. That's >> worse. Listen, I get it. >> But like I told him, it's certain only certain. >> You got to take so much. >> That's it. >> I get it. >> But they did tell you right. I didn't I didn't say I was going to somebody. I was going to say >> I was just screaming. I told you guys. >> That's all I said. >> I hit the I take my hat off. >> Thank you, boys. I said you've been nothing but honest. Yeah. Well, >> it's fine for me to be a lie, you know. >> Well, don't get me wrong, you probably real people that make some until you find out. >> Oh, yeah. That's usually what happened. >> The only thing I really wanted that I see they didn't do was the camera. That's all I kept asking. You don't want cameras. >> Well, that seems like it goes back to whatever the issue was a week ago. The person told me. >> Well, that's what it is. If that's an issue, that might be something you have to call like corporate about. You know what? That's just a waste of time doing that. >> I'm as cold as yellow. Yeah, you picked the worst. You couldn't do this 20 minutes ago before the rain and everything before it dropped. The temperature dropped. >> It happened. It happened right after came back literally 255. That's when it happened. They just waited an hour to call me. That's all they did. We was arguing for about an hour. >> Really? That long? >> It was almost about that long. Yes, sir. >> Wonder what took them so long. Just >> What took him really so long was the main boss just kept going in. Okay. You got to keep going. He goes, "We're not going to change you." said, "Why you have to change the top five?" She was like, "Dude, you're really saying you're really about seven. Every minute counts." >> Well, yeah. >> He said, "If I was late, seven minutes, I'd be fired." >> They're telling you about Yeah, that's what would happen. Yeah. >> Now, all that's left is to clear his name and check for any warrant. But this is where things start taking longer than expected. All I heard was nothing but All I heard was nothing but >> which again it could just be your father's information >> if you want to let them know the only time I've been locked up like I told you was October 9th 2001 >> that that had definitely come out >> know that he is a junior so there's an issue >> I I told that the stat is the same different date of Yeah. >> All right. >> The cops up. I'll let them know. But it'll be different from yours. So, yeah. >> Jeez. >> The wind. If it wasn't so windy, I don't think I'd care. >> It's just the wind. >> Like, move around. But can't move around yet. >> True. We're going to ask that you don't move around yet. >> That's probably my favorite thing when people are tell us when we're outside dealing with them in the elements and they're like, "But I'm cold or whatever." And I'm just like, "So am I. I'm right here with you. We are human. You know, I feel the same thing you feel right now." >> So let's just say it happened to me. Most like you guys. If it happens, it happens. >> If it happens, it happens. Is what happens with us. Yeah. It's just some days it's go go go go go just constant call call. >> Yeah. >> And some days you have those low periods where you know you're waiting on something to come in or you want to go stop cars or whatever. But >> it's Friday evening so I'm sure >> you're trying to get out the car. You better tell if I'm in the car. Pull over. >> I know. The lights and sirens tend to do a pretty good job of getting people over. Yeah. I'm >> pretty sure I got the mic right. Let me just stop back. With dispatch unable to verify the suspect's details and criminal history, the officers decide to drop him off at the bus stop for now. But the situation is about to take a surprising turn. >> So, two things. One, we're going to be taking you to the hospital bus stop uh just to avoid >> problem further away. I want I I take the risk of myself coming back here. >> Okay. >> All right. Is that fair? >> No. Whatever you guys want. >> So, listen. Yes, sir. >> Going forward. It's nothing that I can act on because I don't have enough information on it. But there is warrant with your name and your birthday. >> Yes. >> Different address for urinating in public. I don't want as far as I'm aware. Whoa. Now that you said urinate in public. Whoa, bro. That was at least 15 20 years ago. It was by a baseball. You see it? So, you know I'm not lying. It was It was by the baseball field. Uh, I actually I don't have the papers to prove it, but uh I have transparent blood in my uh that makes me go to the bathroom. So, as I'm pissing, I'll tell you exactly how I went. I was pissing by the baseball field. Uh, my friend was there. There was a cop behind my friend. He went like this to my friend. The minute I was done, he said, "ID." I said, "They gave me a summit. I got to go to court." >> So, I appreciate your honesty, >> but you're so awesome. Now, I have to arrest you for this warrant. >> Yes. >> Just told us it was He was telling you that at the time we couldn't confirm if it was you. You confirmed for us just now that it was your warrant. So you have to be >> if can please check. They did say uh something about like court but it wasn't. >> It's $1,000 warrant. I'll find out if it's 10% or not. Check out% >> 10%. So $100. >> Yeah. Can I please call my wife? We can let you call our headquarters. >> Are they bringing me the current? That's all I need to know. >> Right now I'm bringing the call. I don't want to bring the current on our phone. Credit card. >> Yeah. >> Uh I have on my credit card. >> They I don't think they can. >> It has to be like an actual card or cash. >> They can't even send the money over. I just want to know whatever I do right here, right now, if I'm going to be able to drive, if they approve it with the hardship of programs and all that. >> I can't I can't give you that. I can't I can't answer that cuz the hardship and everything has nothing to do with us. >> So, what does the lawyer have to do with anything? >> The blowing is to basically prove that you are not. >> But I don't have to. >> It's your choice. The end of the day, it's your choice. It's the same situation. We're still going to jail. I'm still getting arrested. Everything's the same though, right? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. >> If I blow and sober, you're going to need a whole going straight to jail if I'm sober. There's no um conflict from me not blowing from like it's not going to be a hard >> no on my license for anything. Does that make sense? >> No. >> This is my second time. >> Well, you said that >> it was dismissed and everything. So, that's why I was just asking because I know >> I'm going to check your your >> I just want to make sure I'm doing everything the proper channels to get it all go away. And just like that, she has another question for the officer. >> The only reason you guys pulled me over is because my grand employer called you. Correct. >> No, we pulled you over because you're you had the obstructed tag. >> I had what? >> Obstructed tag. >> Obstructed tag. >> Yes, ma'am. >> What does that mean? >> Okay. So, obviously you just bought that car, correct? >> Two years ago. >> Okay. So, you know that that border that you got from >> Genesis? >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> Okay. You can't have that. >> What do you mean? >> So, we have to be able to read my my Florida and then state of Florida at the bottom. >> Okay. Well, >> sensate. >> Love you. Long time. You guys have pulled me over 15 times in Marada and nobody's >> I've never pulled you over before. >> Yeah, I think you have actually. I know the other the one that was given everything. He definitely has. He actually gave me a sprig test once to let me go >> cuz somebody said something. But you only pulled me over because of >> Well, you were also called out as a reckless driver >> from my employer. Got it. Just wanted to >> Okay. >> Just getting all the facts so I can like turn. Yes, ma'am. >> The suspect was ultimately charged with DUI along with another violation for her obstructed tag. Airport employees start fighting at work. It ends badly. On January 15th, 2025, officers were called to an airport after management reported a fight between employees. Here's what they walked into. >> She walked up suddenly. I'm like, "What you want to do?" Then she pushed ME BACK AND THEN I'M LIKE, "OKAY, SO WHAT'S UP?" >> The hang on. Who's involved here? >> Okay, >> keep keep her there for now, right? Okay. >> What's What's going on? I was waiting for the elevator. >> She came out the elevator. Then I walked that way and she screamed. She was like, "I don't care." >> Yeah, that's mine. >> And I'm like, "Girl, like what the is you talking about?" She was like, "I don't care." This and that. And then, you know what I'm saying? Um, so after that, she walked up to me. I'm like, "Okay, what you trying to do?" when she was all up in my face and then I'm like, "Okay, so what you trying to do?" We, you know what I'm saying? We going back and forth. And then, you know what I'm saying? And then she pushed me and I'm like, "Okay, so what? What's up?" Like, "What you trying to do?" Like, >> yours, too? >> Yeah. And she was like, "I'm waiting for you to swing." Like, I'm not going to swing on you for what >> yours? No. >> Yeah, it's yours. >> Okay. >> Can I just see her sight real quick? So, what was she like? How did how did that even start? She just got >> She got mad because I walked over there. She was like, "Why is you doing all that?" I'm like, "Wait, girl, what is you talking about?" >> Oh, because I walked that way. >> And you screamed talking about some I don't care. Okay. >> Can I see your sight real quick? >> Uh, can I see your sight real quick, please? >> It seems there's more to it than a simple encounter. and whatever history they have turned a simple interaction into absolute chaos. >> This guy or whoever you come to >> Okay, so basically you you were waiting for the elevator. She comes off of the elevator and just says, "Why you doing all that?" Well, do you know what she was referring to? >> I don't know what what she was referring to. So >> you guys might have >> um Well, I just walked out cuz when she came out, I was just walking out to take the another elevator. >> So I don't know why she said all that for >> Okay. Did it Did it turn physical at any point? I mean, I'm just looking at the stuff >> when she started walking up to me. Yeah. >> Okay. Um >> Okay. I mean, and obviously we're we're going to look at the cameras, but uh yeah, we just have to we just have to get, you know, her story and figure out what's what's going on. But >> what uh do you know what happened with all this stuff? >> We was fighting. Yeah, we was fighting. >> Okay. >> And you know, then she pushed me pushed me down. >> Okay. Um, >> and then we we can grab your other information off the computer. What's a good phone number or was it just >> She pushed me. She pushed me and then that's when it start, you know, then we start fighting and this and that. Go ahead. They trying to break it up. Then I fail on there. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And then I I hit back when she hit me. So Yeah. >> Okay. Um, all right. Can you just hang out for a second? >> Not getting much from the first woman involved, the officer decides to hear from the other side. >> Hi, madam. Deputy Lys with the M County Sheriff's Office. What's going on today? >> Okay, so this is not the only time this happened with her. It's been multiple issues and stuff like that, but I'm getting off the elevator. You know, she feel like she has to leave. That's mom. Um, so she get off the I'm getting off the elevator. She just to get ready to get off. Every time she feel like she see me, she got to, you know, run away or do this or, you know, move off fast. And I'm, you know, I I meant to ask her before. I'm like, why do you feel like you have to run away every time you get by me or somebody else or whatever? This is not the only time it happened because she felt like last time me and this girl that I worked with was talking about it. Well, she was wrong or whatever. So, she ran pretty much walked up to walk up on me. I do the I want bump, you know, chest bump me and all that. I'm like, "Bro, back up. Stop touching me. Stop touching me. She keep doing it." I'm going up closer to her doing the same thing she doing. And I'm like, "Bro, back up. Doing this. Back up." So, then we using verbal saying what we saying, cussing, whatever the case is. And it just everything just went sideways. We started fighting. They came before we actually start hitting the two co-workers uh that work with us came to break it up. And as one was breaking it up, she kind of got a hit to my face a little bit. So that's when they tried to back her up some more. I had to really stop and think about it cuz I was really Just let that be. >> She hit you with a closed fist. Open fist. Close fist >> in the nose. >> No. >> Okay. So, what what instigated it? I'm confused. I don't get it. That's >> It really was a Didn't even have to be the way it was. I just asked her a question. She snapped off. Then that's how things got louder and louder. >> With her account on record, the officer follows up by asking if things ever turned physical. >> We were leaving was nothing. This This really didn't need to happen. >> Okay. Uh, did you hit her at all? >> Um, no, I didn't hit her. >> Did you push her? I saw there was some stuff pushed over in there. What was that? >> That was That was pulling. She pulled out her pocket. She touched >> with like what you put on the bags was like tipped over. >> Your bags >> like the little ticket you put on your bags with your name on it. Here >> like there's that little like post and it has like it's like a circle on top and then there's paper in there that you attach to your bag. >> One of the stans sheets over there. >> Yeah. >> Oh, that I don't know that all that stuff that's on the floor. That's hers. It came out her pocket. >> I ain't throwing nothing in my pocket cuz I wasn't going to sit here and try to fight nobody. >> Okay. You got an ID on you? >> It was pretty much you know we the face effect. She coming up. Keep coming up. Keep coming up. I'm you know doing it backwards. What is she doing all that for? I just asked her a question because it seemed like it's always some bull crap every time she's here at work. And we I already spoke to my supervisor about this multiple times and stuff and she meant to have a meeting, but it came to the point where it kind of got irritated. It's because nobody, you know, I'm I come here to work. She feel like somebody here to mess with her, peek with her, and do whatever to her. Girl, nobody got time for that. So, like I said, I was coming off the elevator. She feels need to sit here and try to run away. girl, what are you running away for? That's all I want to know. And she got loud coming up close to me. I got closer to me back and forth. That's how that went. >> And I hurry up and I called one of my cooworkers like, "Hey, come come and get her. Come come and get her." And that's the one that had the green dreads. She's out there. >> Any pain at all? Do you need any medical attention? >> I'm good. >> You don't want any medical attention? >> Now, it comes down to a last few questions before they wrap things up. Was she coming off the ele? >> I was I was coming off the elevator. Coming off. >> She was waiting to get on. As soon as she seen me, that's when she felt like she needed the food. Like you won't have problems. You could have wait till I got up and you could have got. Like I said, this is not the only time this happened. It was another problem. What? Probably like 2 days ago. The girl was off there. Me and her was on the elevator. Um she was in the back. I was me and her was towards the front. Going to get off and go towards the basement. I couldn't even get a chance to get home. She trying to bum rush me. Scoot the elevator. Come on. Back up. Go ahead. >> Go ahead. >> All right. All right. THAT'S IT. >> Don't yell at me. >> I walked in the door. He told ME I GO CHANGE. I WILL. I LOOK AT ME AND HE GOING TO TELL YOU DON'T COME BACK. >> LOOK AT ME. >> I DIDN'T DO to him. >> You don't come at me that way. >> I don't give a [ __ ] >> Who you are? >> Okay. Well, you're leaving. >> I'M NOT. >> YOU'RE LEAVING? >> NO. HE GOT TO TELL ME WHY I'M FIGHTING. >> I'M TELLING YOU. >> YOU GOT TO TELL ME WHY ON FIRE. >> I'm pregnant. I'm pregnant. Don't play with me. >> I'm telling you. >> I'M PREGNANT. I'M PREGNANT. MY BABY. MY BABY. >> GET OFF MY BABY. >> STOP. >> Get off my baby. See, I got one resistance. >> Just get off OF ME, BRO.
