This is your choice. >> She ain't standing up. That deplane it. Is medic here? >> Next, the officer informs the staff and the captain of the situation and the call is made to deplane everyone on board. >> She sounds pretty intoxicated. I mean, she's swearing and all that. She said she had a double. Yeah. But, she didn't want to get off. So, I mean, we can give the medics a chance. If the captain doesn't want to wait. >> But, if captain doesn't want to wait, then we'll >> Captain. >> So, options here. We can try to let medics come on and see if they'll talk her off. >> her off. >> Yeah. Or if y'all can't wait, have one of y'all basically say >> Our policy is we have to deboard the aircraft before we physically remove her cuz we don't want anybody to get hurt from that. We can Medics are on their way. >> They're on their way. Yeah. >> Yes, they're already They're already in route. We just We're assigned to this terminal. That's why we got here first. >> Thanks for coming out so quick. >> What do y'all >> I think let's wait for the medics see if they can get >> See if they can sweet talk her. >> Yeah, cuz she's definitely not coming. >> Yeah. And so, we'll go from there. Um just wait here. Maybe us, you know, police are not always the We're not the most loved. So, let's just wait here. >> You guys can brief the EMS when they get here. >> Yeah, I will. >> She is >> She is not off. She said she did have a double shot. She's swearing words. That's y'all I'm going to see if y'all can sweet talk her off. The captain does not want her on the plane. >> I don't know if I'm sweet, but we'll >> But if y'all can do, you know, we're not looked upon as highly. So, if y'all can get her off, if not, I'm going to deport the airplane and >> Not coming off. All right. Yeah, she's still refusing, so She's refusing, so Okay. >> And would you be advised she is refusing to get off the plane. We're currently in a boarding right now. >> Sorry. >> Leave your stuff. Leave your stuff. >> Okay. Sorry. >> Leave your stuff. COME OFF THE AIRPLANE. Just leave it. >> But guy sitting next to her still on the plane. >> With everyone off the plane, the officers make their move. It's now time to escort the passenger off the plane, and they'll do whatever it takes to do that. >> Well, just have him step over. Yeah. Just have him step across her lap. Ma'am. >> Just wait. >> Can you try to get over? >> Oh, sorry. Sorry. >> What's your name? Alicia? >> Yeah. >> Here we go. Ma'am, need you to step up and get off the plane. If not, I'm going to place you in handcuffs and take you off this plane. This is your one and only warning. Hello. >> [music] >> Ma'am. >> Just pick her up. >> Do not take my belongings. >> I got the bag. >> Do not take my belongings. >> She's seated up there in No, she's >> But you gave me my one and only warning to get off. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT? I WAS getting up. Let go. >> Let go. >> Give me my one and only warning back. Give me my one and only warning back. >> She uncuffed >> Is she un-belted? >> Yeah. >> All right. Stand up, ma'am. >> You got her? >> Ma'am, start walking. >> She might not be able to. Can y'all get that that wheelchair out? Is this >> She's That's her bag, isn't >> Uh they got her. >> Why would you do that? Why would you do that? >> Do you have any bags? >> All I was Yeah. All I was just trying to do was fly home. And I don't know why you all got so salty cuz you ain't water here. Don't leave me without my things. >> We have your bag BEHIND US. >> WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? >> You were told to get off the aircraft, ma'am. >> For what reason? >> Because they did not want to fly you anymore. >> Cuz you didn't want to fly me? >> Ma'am, I'm not the airlines. >> Fight you till the day I die. >> Well, they can search her out. We'll get That way we can get the people started boarding again. >> She just spit. >> Yeah. It's not a public transit area. You can't do that. >> Now in cuffs, she's escorted through the busy airport and a medic is called in to make sure she's okay. >> Stop hurting me. >> We'll set her over here. Let medics check her out. Make sure you don't have any medical problems, ma'am. Ma'am, did you have any carry-on bags? >> We don't know if she had bags or not. >> It was all >> Are these your only bags? >> Yes. >> Did you check her suitcase? Edward two to Edward four, we have all of her stuff. You want to check her out? >> Yeah, I'm just going to search her for a weapon or anything. >> All right. >> Hey. >> I had a cloth on them. >> Do not spit on anyone. >> I didn't spit on anyone. >> She spit. >> I spit on the floor. >> Ma'am, what's your name? >> Alicia Kennedy. >> Where are you All right, where are you flying to today? >> Logan. >> What flight is >> Boston. >> Boston? Okay. >> My flight was an hour late. >> Okay. Do you have your ID on you by any chance? >> And I got on the >> Is it in your bag? >> Ooh, yeah. >> Relax. Relax. >> Yes. >> Can I help you get your ID out really quick? >> Yes, if you want to help me >> That's not going to happen. I'm just going to help you >> I don't need that. No, it's not in there. >> Where is your ID, ma'am? >> Yes. >> Okay. Okay, so look, here's here's the here's the one thing. Can I tell you something? So, you're alert and oriented. I don't want to have to Listen to me. Listen to me. Listen to me really quick. Just I'm I'm going to be here for you. >> Listen. You told me not to touch you. I'm not going to violate you. You're alert and oriented. From here From here, you're going to be you're going to be with the officers. Do you want me to go away? >> Yes, cuz you're not helping me. >> Okay. Well, then we'll leave and we'll leave you here with with officers, okay? All right. Good. I mean, she she admitted taking alcohol. But I want What's a CT? I think a CT Yes. So, even if she's not a even if she's not a a public intox, she's CT. >> Technically, if you say get off or you're going to be arrested and she says no, and they're deboarding and she gets off when they're deboarding, you can still arrest her. The second you tell her, "Hey, if you don't leave," you just need to get a case. I can I can We just got to get some information from Delta. >> Get one of the flight attendants. >> Okay. Okay, did you have anything to drink today? >> Yeah. >> It's not illegal to drink or to be drunk, but we're trying to figure out what's going on. >> Exactly. >> How much did you have to drink? >> Today? >> Yeah, today. >> About six drinks. >> About six drinks? >> And I had a whole bottle. That's one bottle, so >> Six drinks of what? About six drinks of what? >> Port. >> Hm? >> Port. >> Port? Is that a beer? >> Port wine. >> Port wine, okay. >> Hey, so you just She was told her multiple times she had to get off the airplane and she refused. >> And then when I asked her, you know, what's going on, do you have a medical problem, she wouldn't answer. >> Okay. Did the captain speak to her at all? >> No. >> Okay. She wasn't like aggressive or anything. She just We're just making sure she was told multiple times you got to get off and she >> Yeah, but I think in her argument, I guess, is I I don't think she really registered what we were saying at all. >> Oh, I don't think she I don't >> It wasn't like a like a direct >> Yeah. >> violent like yeah, she was she was incapacitated to the point where it was a >> And then the lady next to her said, I don't know if I feel safe with her flying. >> Okay. >> Cuz anything we asked her, she wouldn't even directly answer it. Like it was a holdover response. So, I don't think she understood anything we're saying. >> I know. >> Okay. So, yeah, I wouldn't I wouldn't take it like actively going against them. >> Okay. So, it's all good to know, so >> Now that they have the staff statements, officers move to bring the case to a close. >> Your business is always sucks. >> My business sucks? >> That's not yours. Well, it's rude when people are rude to you. What else do you have right now? >> So, criminal trespass. We're going to put So, we'll do PI and CT. Just put in there that the vehicle played a part in it. We're going to go with PI to go with it. That's one like we're going to drop. We're going to do breach of a critical infrastructure instead of just a normal one since she's on the aircraft. And if the detectives want to downgrade it, which I think they will. >> Okay. >> But that's what we're going to go with. >> So right now we're arresting her for PI or criminal trespass? >> Criminal trespass and PI. >> Yes. >> Criminal trespass. >> All right Alicia, going to stand up? >> Don't touch my stuff, ma'am. I can give you place to leave your bags. Did you want to grab your bag? >> What am I being arrested >> You're going to be arrested for criminal trespass. >> What have I trespassed >> You didn't get off the plane when they told you to get off the plane. So you're under arrest for criminal trespass and public intoxication. >> So the ticket that I bought that I have a flight for >> That can be >> And then you're saying that I have to get on when I did it? >> Take it with the airline. >> That will be it's on the aircraft that will be dealt with. >> All right. I got leg shackles. Oh, you want to walk now? >> Nice one, man. >> What are you doing now? >> Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. >> Her decision to resist and cause trouble only made things worse for herself and even now she's still not done. >> Oh, she tried to kick me. You want to search her right here? >> You got anything in your pockets? >> Stand up. >> Yeah, my ID. My ticket to ride. >> Ma'am, I WILL PRONE YOU OUT IF YOU DON'T STOP KICKING. >> WAIT, is one of my bum bags >> Can you get her foot while you go? >> Yeah, but All right. Prone her out. Stop. >> It's also not to hold nice to hold people's foot. That's enough ma'am. >> When I pull her from the other side or pull her from the other side. >> Where is my belongings? >> They're going to go with you. >> Where are they? In the back. >> It all ends with a woman being charged with criminal trespass [music] and public intoxication. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments and I'll see you in the next video.
