Where's the warrant? >> Where is the warrant? Why did you stop the camera? >> I didn't stop the camera. >> Back in reverse. >> We're only going to give you a few more opportunities. >> I'll work for myself. >> I know you understand. >> I don't care. >> Okay. FBI. >> You lose your job. I thought >> most vacations end with packing your bags and heading home. These guests have a different plan. Here are encounters when guests won't check out of the hotel and it ends in cuffs. woman causes trouble at a hotel, then picks a fight with police. On August 8th, 2025, officers responded to a hotel after staff reported that a guest was refusing to leave after allegedly disturbing other guests and overstaying her welcome. Before long, they realized getting her out won't be nearly as simple as expected. I have to talk about it and I'm not leaving. >> I've been trying to get >> Why did she kick me out? >> I told a shower. That's not a disturbance. >> You caused multiple disturbances. I am partially in your space, but you're also not cooperating. >> How did I supposed to cooperate? I just told you I I gave you I gave you two of the >> I don't know. You either have to go in and grab her or whatever. >> All right. So disabling a smoke detector. >> Do we know that she did that though? >> She did >> for sure. >> 100%. I found it under the bed with the >> No, no, no. I'm taking a shower. >> I handed it to the maintenance >> that was part of the issue with her alarm. >> Right. Right. Right. So, she disabled it. >> Let me ask her. Let me ask her about >> Hey, did you did you disable the uh smoke alarm? Was it the smoke alarm? >> Yeah, cuz >> you know that you can't do that. >> I didn't disable I knocked it off. It It literally knocked it got disabled. >> No, you know you can't do that. >> I don't know what I did. All I did was like, "Someone please come." so wet. >> You know, you can't disable the smoke. Okay, then come out AND TALK TO US. >> STOP THE ALARM. >> WELL, here's the issue. >> Sarah, this is my boss. She's going to talk to you. Okay, >> I'm in the shower. I need 10 minutes. >> Well, you No, we're not giving you any more time. It's been 41 minutes I've given you. >> I need 10 minutes. >> Sarah, here's the deal. The hotel would like you to leave. >> I need a refund before I leave. I need to know why to get a refund. I need to know why exactly I'm taking out. She said it's cuz I'm taking a shower. >> I thought that's my right. I I need it on paper. >> The officers try to resolve the situation peacefully, but the woman's refusal to cooperate leaves them running out of options. >> So, here's the deal. They can choose to sign complaints against you for dismantling the smoke detector cuz that is a class a misdemeanor. >> Turn it off. And I I called them to to let them know that I asked them why it was off. >> Okay. But you did disable the smoke detector and you just told us that. SO IF THEY WANT TO SIGN COMPLAINTS AGAINST YOU, it is a class A misdemeanor. So here's here's our choices. >> You can you can get out of the shower. >> I did. >> You can get out of the shower. >> I will prove it to you. >> You can get out of the shower. We can go ahead and arrest you. >> You can't arrest me. >> We can arrest you. >> No, you can't. You did not. >> And a reason why. >> Actually, we don't need a warrant. You committed a crime, which is a crime. They did that. >> They did what? >> Your datab. >> You just said you did it to the alarm. >> You just said you did it. >> I called them. >> So, do you want to get out, get dressed, and leave >> with your dignity? Or would you >> Yeah, you need to be patient. >> No. >> What? >> 10 minutes. >> We've already been here for 10 minutes. My officers have been here for 40 minutes. >> And and I need a refund. So, work on that. >> Well, they don't have to give you a refund. THEY DON'T HAVE TO GIVE YOU A REFUND. PEOPLE DESTROYED THEIR APARTMENT. >> I'M NOT GOING TO LEAVE. >> Like that fire alarm. They did that. >> Why was that fire alarm going off? Cuz of the shower. >> You have 2 minutes to get out of the shower until we're coming in there. >> You cannot touch me. >> Sure can. >> Cuz that's criminal. >> Sure can. >> No. You need a reason why I'm being arrested. >> You You disabled a smoke detector LAST >> THAT'S NOT WHAT YOU JUST TOLD MY PARTNER. >> I DON'T I SAID I CALLED them to say, "Why is it going off? Is the building on fire? >> Yeah. Then you disabled it because it was still going off. >> No, I didn't. >> They didn't come in here and rip it off the wall. >> Do they try to fix it? It must have fell off. It's not. I'm pretty sure. >> You got 2 minutes. >> If the officers were hoping this conversation would be any easier, they're about to find out otherwise. >> No, you cannot claim that when they do that. >> You got two minutes. >> No. Were you here? >> You got two minutes. >> Were you here? >> You got two minutes. >> You can't. I I'm sorry. You're going to do illegal activity like touch me. I mean this in the shower hotel I paid for it. The alarm is not this turn it off himself. >> It's much easier if you just cooperate with us. >> I am cooperating. >> No, you are not ma'am. >> I'm allowed to take a shower. >> We're going to come in there and get you. You understand that, right? >> Yeah. You need to get on paper while I'm being kicked out for taking a shower. >> I I will give you paper because I need a refund before I leave. >> Yeah. I need >> no like oh no >> like you I mean you guys don't want to get involved >> today is the first day >> like you're breaking the law >> by yourself >> there's no legit reason they're kicking me out like >> yeah this is what they say and you know it >> and you can laugh about it like all the other cops and it's like I don't know >> they're allowed to refuse service to anyone. >> All right, come on, Sarah. >> We gave you two minutes. You got to come out. >> No, I need >> Here's your towel. Okay, you got to come out. >> Yeah, I'm clean. >> Okay. >> All right, Sarah. Do you want to put on clothes yourself? You want to do it now? >> No, you can't touch me. >> Yeah, we can. So, do it now. >> Don't touch me. >> If you unless you want to go out in like that. >> Turn off your cameras. Give me privacy cuz I'm not going to tolerate this room. We'll give you your bag. >> Stand in the corner. >> No, stand in the corner. Like, stop telling me what to do. It's not going to happen. See, maybe if you ask me, >> I'm not going to let you film me naked. >> You understand? I'm going to arrest you in handcuffs naked and we'll arrest you naked and you will be to authority. >> That's not going to be how it goes. We've given you plenty of time. >> The woman quickly begins challenging the officer's authority, but they make it clear they're the ones in control of the encounter. >> Okay. >> Hateful. Do you want us to give you a shirt or you want us to be cut as is? >> No, you cannot touch me. >> Absolutely we can. >> Yo, I want I I'm not leaving. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. >> Yo, you cannot. >> You want to pull that up? >> Pull up. Pull them up. >> Let go of me. >> Nope. >> Pull it up. >> Let go. No. The the tie. >> I have to pack myself. >> We can't. First off, unless you know, we can fix them when she get up. >> Get up. Come on. >> Let You want us to help you out? >> Grab that arm. I'll grab this arm. Come on. One, two, three. Stand up. Good job. Put your feet up. Come on. There you go. >> Okay. I need to pack my stuff. >> Doesn't work that way. We got it for you. Okay. So, this one's kind of >> This one's loose because it's all the way through. So, you can't make it. >> What are you doing? >> We're trying to fix your handcuffs. Would you like us to? Then stop talking. But let me Would you like us to fix your handcuffs? Yes or no? Yes or no? >> I want to pack myself. How can I tap myself with my handcuffs on? >> This one through. >> I think all the way through. >> So, you can't double. >> No, cuz it's >> Which one hurts? This one? Your right hand? Okay, >> we're going to >> We're trying it. >> See, what you did is actually tighten it yourself because you were so uncooperative and resistant. >> Okay, cool. Can I pack my stuff? >> No. >> No, but you can watch us pack it for you. >> No, I'm not okay with this. You can't arrest me. Hold on. >> You're already under arrest. >> No, I'm not under arrest. I will get kicked out, but I want a refund cuz I'm not under arrest. >> No, I'm not. I'm not calling causing disservice to anyone. I was taking a shower. >> You are already under arrest. >> No, he I did not do that. The guy did that when he started to turn it off. >> Okay. Well, note it in the report and when you go to court, you can tell that to the judge jury. >> No, >> you're under arrest. >> Yep. >> Don't I need to pack my stuff. >> So, go ahead and put >> No, I have a lot of stuff I need to pack. >> You can watch us pack it. >> No, you can stand there. You can >> put your shoes on. Come on. Put your shoes on. Or you can go out there. >> I have my shoes on. >> Which ones? The woman continues making demands, but the officers have already made their decision. It's time for her to leave the hotel. >> Let go of the ex. >> You're under arrest. We're not letting go of you. >> Okay, that's fine. But I tap my stuff. >> You can watch them unpack your stuff. >> She's not going to work. Make sure >> Let me Let me watch them. >> That's fine. >> Don't touch me. Do not touch me. >> You're being pushy. >> You're being violent. We've been here an hour just >> No, you're not. And why am I being arrested? >> Write it on paper. Trespassing and >> trespassing. I didn't do that. >> Put your shoes on. Put your shoes on. >> I want those shoes on. >> You're not getting those. We're not putting socks on. So, you can put your shoes on. Or just put >> You want gym shoes and no socks? >> That's That's your option. Gym shoes with no socks or sandals. >> Or sandals. >> Not putting socks on your two after I just dressed you. So, you can decide. What would you like? >> I'm going to get out. Which one? Or no shoes? What would you like? >> No, you cannot rest. >> What would you like? You got it. I will get out. But I need a refund and I need a reason. You need You need to give me a reason. I have to get my toothbrush. >> We're going to get every single thing. >> No, I'll get it. >> No, I have to get it. >> Well, I'm resisting, too. If you like >> I'm not resisting. I need to get my stuff. You're not being legal. >> Okay, I know the game's going on. And yeah, you guys are great actors, but you're not being legal. You can't touch my stuff. You can't arrest me for this. I'm in a shower and you're filming me naked like no. Everyone here will be sued. I have a right to take care of my own stuff. >> No, I want my stuff. >> Yes. >> I always do stuff. >> You think your Do you think the whole town wants any of your stuff? Honestly, >> no. I need my stuff all the time. >> No. No. My room. Do you know where all my stuff is? Do you ever >> We're pretty good at searching. I want to be there. >> I want >> You gave up that right when you decided not to leave on your own apartment. >> No, that's not fair. >> Spotting the hotel staff, the woman tries to draw them back into the conversation. By now, however, the officers are focused on bringing the encounter to a close >> and you you know you're being unfair when I was in the shower. >> They asked you to leave >> and and and Yeah. What's the reason? >> They gave you 10 minutes. >> What's the reason? Sir, can you please provide a reason for why I'm being kicked out? He's He's the man. Look, don't push me. >> He's right there. >> Don't push me. You cannot push me like that. >> He's there. I bought a reason by him cuz he saw what happened and you lied to me. >> Talk to him. >> You lied to me >> about what? >> About saying he wasn't here. >> I didn't know who the you were talking about. >> That man, she knew who I was talking about. >> She said he was here. >> I want to talk to him. >> We'll talk to him. >> I want to talk to him, too. >> He was there. She I never talk to. I talk to him all day. Take a seat. >> I I have a right. >> Put your legs in. >> Yes. But I have a right to see that all my stuff. >> You will get everything. I promise you. I promise. >> How? >> I have a right to see that all my stuff is being taken care of. The encounter ultimately ended with a woman being trespassed from the hotel and charged with resisting arrest. I will not be interrupted again. >> Go ahead. Let me please. >> He is a representative of property. His say is the final say. If he doesn't want you here anymore, you have to grab your things and you have to leave. The owner going to leave on your own collision or going to leave in handcuffs. It's called trespass after warning. You can be arrested for that. >> Yes. Can I press charges on you? >> No, there's no charges. Can you see if you can get his ID from his buddy and see if they want anyone else? >> With Colin secured in the patrol car, the officers returned back inside the hotel to finish the investigation. In the process, they learned that because the room was booked under Colin's name, his friends will also have to leave the property. >> Yeah, his name is Colin. I mean, I would like to get his ID, but >> I'll be able to find him regardless. >> He seems to be in a room with other people. >> He's a college kid. >> I'm pretty sure. There he is. Oh, okay. >> So, he is the primary guest on this on this room >> and sadly that means Yeah, we don't we're big single people. We're big. >> So, he just got all of his friends picked out too. >> Yeah. They knew that their friend did. >> Yikes. >> I was about to get out of my ship. I should have been already clocked out half an hour. >> This is the group. >> Oh, no. Okay. >> Okay. >> The officer now delivers the bad news to his friends. And while the news isn't what they want to hear, they handle it far differently than Colin did. >> What's up, security? >> So, yeah, I got to inform you. >> Hi, guys. >> We need evict people. We don't evict just one person. We evict the entire room. >> So, the entire room has to be back and leave the property. Sorry, but >> Okay, you're backing up. >> I don't know what to do. >> Sorry you in trouble, man. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. >> What are our next steps though? Like >> seashell motel is kind of >> Oh. Oh. >> So like what about him? Like what do we do? >> Oh, he's going to jail. >> Okay. >> Yeah. The next step. >> You can bail him out if you want. It's just leave the property. I can't do that. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I guess they're taking them for trespassing. It's not a big bail. It's just a misdemeanor crime. >> So, if you want to bail him out, um, but it's going to take a few hours before he gets processed and all that stuff. So, >> that's okay. >> All right. All right. So, how long do you think you need? >> We'll be quick. I already packed up most of our stuff. >> All right. Cool. >> We'll be quick and then just head on out. >> All right. Sounds good. Thank you, >> Finally, at the station, the officers move forward to processing Colin for the night. I'm going to explain how this is going to go. All right. Since you want Since you're a lawyer or studying to be a lawyer, >> I'm I'm going to get you out of this car. I'm going to switch these handcuffs. All right. >> You get squirly, I'm going to take you down to the ground. >> I will not. >> All right. Lean up against here. I just like for me, dude, I don't understand.
