I've been living in Florida my entire life. >> Okay. 88 going to two. >> Ma'am, can I give you a name and date of birth? Florida, please. >> My birthday. >> A quick background check revealed something the officers weren't surprised to find. This isn't the woman's first encounter with the police. Taking that into account, they offer her one last chance to make things right. Either she settles her bill and leaves peacefully or she'll be facing arrest. >> So, you've already have police contact since you've been in Key West, Catherine. >> I've been talking to them about finding my car, but they haven't my car and I was homeless for a little bit because I couldn't find a place to stay with my dog. >> And so then I was sleeping in front of the church for a while and I'm waiting for my Medicaid right now to >> disabled. I was trying to call them and I told them that I was looking for my car for multiple days. I've had multiple police officers searching for my car. I've also had um no updates on it because I kept, you know, I lost my phone after being chased by multiple men. So, I was on a drive over here to the Keys to try to find some peace, but then I got stopped four times by police and then I kept going, you know, cuz what else am I supposed to do? >> It's clear that the woman is brushing this off like it's nothing. However, if she keeps refusing to pay or find someone who will, this stop at the salon might end with a ride downtown. >> Where's your family? >> My family's all gone. >> All gone. Okay. >> It's just me. >> Who can we call to pay for this service? >> Michael. >> You don't have his number, though? >> No, I forgot his phone number. I'm really bad with phone numbers. >> Okay. So, there's nobody else. >> Nobody else. >> So, you didn't have money when you came in here? >> No. He said he was going to pay for it for me. So, I was like, "Okay, no problem. He's going to treat me. I came in, did my nails. He's going to go ahead do a couple errands and then come back and, you know, pay for it. >> Okay. But you didn't have money when you came in. >> No, I'm like, where are we going to pay for it? >> Okay. So, Miss Laxman, I've been we've been on patrol since 6:00 this morning, and I've seen you with this beautiful dog a few times. Just kind of walking up and down. >> One, two, three. >> Do you understand what my partner said, ma'am, that if you can't pay for this service, they're going to want to pursue charges on you? >> That's fine. And I said that my boyfriend's going to pay. So, I don't understand what the issue is. >> Because your boyfriend's not here. >> He is here. >> Where is he? >> He's right around the corner. >> No, ma'am. No, ma'am. He's not. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Um, so they want to pursue. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> We're off to jail. I go. >> All right. Mr. Laxman, can you stand up for me, dear? All right. We're going to make sure we take care of your buddy. Okay. >> I hope everyone doesn't come. >> All right. >> Thank you, man. Take it easy. >> All right. >> All right. All right, lesson. Let's go ahead and sit back down here and take it take it easy for a second. Okay, >> nice and easy. You're all right. You're fine. Take a seat. Okay. >> Okay. Do you have shoes? >> No. I need shoes. >> All right. >> So hot. >> Let's go ahead and just get you in the car where it's air conditioned. Okay. All right. Nice and easy. >> Take it easy. >> We're going straight out the door here and we're going to go across to this vehicle that you see right over here. Okay. >> She's not putting up a fight, but she's not making much sense either. Still, the officers proceed with protocol. >> Are you all right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I know that I did nothing wrong. >> Okay. >> We're going to stand in the sun together. Are you ready? >> No. No. We're going to go sit in the air conditioner. >> Yeah. >> Yep. >> I'm just copying your step. Is that okay? >> Sure. >> Other side. Yeah. Yep. I'm trying not to step on. >> That's right. >> I don't want to hurt. >> That's exactly right. >> I know all the rules. >> Oh, >> thank you. >> You're welcome, ma'am. Go ahead and slide in there. >> Okay. >> Do you know what it's like to get after your grandma dies and your boyfriend just continues to you even when you say no? >> No, ma'am. >> Yeah. Slide over a little bit. There you go. Here. >> Make sure we're nice and safe. Okay. >> Mhm. You all right there? >> I'm perfectly fine. >> The officers begin to close things out with the salon staff. While that's happening, the suspect, quietly seated in the back of the cruiser, suddenly starts acting up. Thank you. >> Not yet. I'll get it right now. >> I need a honey touch. I copy 4999 1051 to the jail. Adult female start. Is there enough air back there? Catherine back there. Everyone's going to get mad at you. Good luck. Michael's the only one who can calm me down. It's only going to get hotter. The officer doesn't respond to her unusual behavior at first, but when she speaks up again, it's something no one saw coming. And I'm trying to save your grandparents, too. That's why I'm walking around saving all the old people and the children. But if you don't like that with song and music and making it rain so that we don't die of dehydration and continue having farm life, good luck. I'm warning you. You only have so much time left and I know the number. Are you sure you don't want to return me to this nail salon when my boyfriend's going to pay for my nails? But that'll pull me down. Yep. Cuz you see, I'm really hungry and I haven't eaten for a month and a half. All I need is water. Will you deny me water? Is that a yes or no question? You don't know? I'm guessing that's a no then. I don't get any water and you don't either. Sorry, Michael. It's just a little funny watching them run cuz I'm the only one with the door open. I'll be able to breathe and go to sleep. Without him, I can't sleep. And then that's when things get really crazy. All I want to do is save as many souls as possible before it's time. Do you want to risk that game with me, sir? >> Despite repeatedly mentioning a boyfriend who's supposedly on his way, no one ever came forward for the woman. Now, as they escort her to the station, the officers can't help but wonder if the man she keeps talking about is real at all. >> All right. So, you should return me to Michael where he's going to pay for me nail meals and keep me nice and relaxed because I've been absent for 4 years. So, I'm getting really frustrated very fast and he's the only one who can calm me down, right, Michael? Yes, I know. He's playing with fire. He's going to get everyone burned. How's your parents doing? Are they doing okay right now? I hope they don't get sick. Cuz I get sick whenever I'm around all of you. Picking up all your negative energy and sins. Do you want to continue playing this game with me, sir? Cuz I've been here a lot longer than you have. I don't need my IDs because why? Everyone knows who I am. And why is that? Because everyone's watching me. And why is that? Because I bring the wind and the water and the rain and the grass and the seeds and the flowers and everything to this earth that you need to survive. And everyone's watching it right now and they're judging you and they're going to remember this tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next day until you apologize or let me go back to Michael as soon as possible. Because look, they're all looking at you right now. They're all thinking, "Why am I going to die for this one guy? Why do we all get to lose our souls because of this one guy?" Do you think like Mr. President Trump? Do you believe all Mexicans should die? >> They're moments away from reaching the station, but the suspect continues rambling from the back seat. And now her next words about her boyfriend will only confuse the officers further. >> Do you think I should think that about all Americans? We're all white people. Or maybe someone you know. How many people do you love? Because Michael loves me and he's keeping me safe. And he's keeping me safe so that I can keep all of you safe. Do you want to continue messing with the grand plan of life because you had an ego check that you wanted to fulfill? I'm very nice and calm now because I have my man and I found him. You want good luck, right? I could give everyone eternal life. And how long can you hold me for a $135 ticket? Do I have an answer? Or can someone else speak for me? Because last time I checked, this is America and we have freedom of speech, right? I'm watching you and I know everyone else is watching you. >> Lex, your birthday is >> 1998. >> June 30th. >> Yeah. >> Okay. But you told me July 3rd. >> No, I didn't. I said, >> "Sit tight for just a minute." Okay. >> Yeah. >> We'll get you upstairs. Get you get you out of those handcuffs. All right. >> Okay. Thank you. >> She was formally charged with larseny and released from custody pending a scheduled court appearance. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments and I'll see you in the next video. As always, stay safe out there, folks.
