respond to a local Wendy's after a couple allegedly began threatening the staff over a wrong order the situation escalated quickly prompting the staff to call for help when officers arrived the male he was in my face spitting at me screaming at me I mean the whole works and I just said I said get off my property get off my property and then I had other people come um you know men gathering around me patrons um Johnny from here um Dave from over here so I had men back me up they were like you need to back up off of her and he was like I'll you up all this and that so that happened and then I just went I I left the situation and went inside the bar because I felt like it was getting out of hand and he was he was going to hit me or he was going to do something he was just out of control okay s for him the best technology in week yes yall want him trespass yes absolutely now the officers confront the suspect who's already in his truck trying to drive away hey boss man what's going on how you doing I'm doing good do me a favor say by the truck for me what it step out the truck for me what I want to talk to you for a minute all right well stepping out the truck don't don't consider me stepping out right the vehicle well I I I just want to talk to you man and man okay so you can obviously there's an issue obviously there's an issue that happened so that's all brother for who for I I've been drinking ha forever yeah well that's why I want you to step out of the truck so what am I stepping out of the truck for because you've been drinking forever who told you that you said committed clearly heavily inebriated the man attempts to reason with the officers but instead of cooperating calmly he argues with them leading to a tense confrontation what if I committed you you you telling me I'm not yelling at you what the committed dude that's what I'm trying to figure out I'm asking you I'm asking that's why I'm trying to talk to you what crime have I committed I don't know pulled up in front of me and you turn your lights on and you walked up here and you stop turn but now you're telling me you don't know what crime I committed what crime have I committed dude if you officers try to secure the man but even in handcuffs he continues to argue with the off officers trying to provoke them what crime have I committed tell me what crime have I committed right now inside the police car the officer heads inside the bar to inform the bartender about the man being taken into [Applause] custody hello office that car you're welcome that guy's truck tow it if you want to tow it tow it tow it he's going to [Music] jail that truck if you want it gone you are more than welcome to tow it okay I just locked the door but thank you you're welcome shortly after another bartender who saw the entire scene shows up and offers another statement against the suspect yeah we can't have did she work here she's a she's a new bartender yeah she just got here okay so how is he acting inside um so we only served him a beer and one mixed drink he didn't even finish his mixed drink his wife came in here took his card we cashed him out we told him he's cut off you can't have any more racing in the parking lot okay with that with that with that okay by himself he was just going back just revving going fast so he said you're cut off you can't have any more drinks okay he started cussing us out saying you're you can't cut me off this this and that so we said you need to leave he said um I don't need to leave call the cops call the cops and we said okay so yeah we're we're here CU okay and when he came out here who was he yelling at um the bartenders yeah me and my other bartender yeah okay okay did he make any threats or anything towards you guys um no he just called us wants to know what's going on why he's getting arrested or whatever uh so disorderly oh hold on he's getting arrested for he's getting arrested for disorder he's getting arrested for disorderly DUI and Battery on Leo no we can leave in a parking lot we'll just hold his keys that's up that's up to the arresting officer what happens to his whether we tow it or we the res yes okay okay I'm going now the officers prepared to transport the man to the station what is disorderly uh drunken disorderly he was drunk oh causing a disturbance and everyone okay causing everyone to look and uh being uh disorderly to the um hi I was with when this all happened down are you seeing what happen yes was in my face screaming at me yes okay okay can you write a statement uh yeah I will write a statement yes okay thank you yes um I need you to be in there I'm on the phone with his friend okay the entire confrontation doesn't end there watch what the suspect decides to do when they arrive at the station you're sitting back all right cool sitting back I can't what you want I'm going me off me man I'm sitting here man sit back what you mean Chris sit sit back sit back I'll beat your God if that's if that's what you want to think is that what it is hey don't spit I got you on fil that's fine spit in my face I didn't spit I got you on film punching me I got you on film sit back you I got all this you punched me twice in the face yeah cuz you were spitting in my face no I didn't I didn't came jail what started with a simple dispute ended with a suspect being ultimately charged with being drunk and disorderly and battery on a law enforcement officer and that's five times cops stepped in to protect employees from absolute chaos do you think these customers will think twice next time
