Flying first class might come with perks, but a free pass from airport police isn't one of them. Here are five cases when dumb first class passengers get arrested at the airport. Number five, he said no man could touch him. Then the handcuffs came out. On April 2nd, 2024, officers received a disturbance call from the Tampa Airport security. Airport staff reported that a male passenger was causing a scene at the screening area, refusing all protocol. Here's what happened next when the officers confronted the suspect. >> What do you guys need? We have a >> I believe that they point at right here. Can you search me? >> That's what they're going to do, sir. >> I don't I don't want no men touching me right there, though. That's what I'm telling. That's the whole issue. But since I don't want no men touching me, they got a problem with that. So, can you search me or can a woman search me? It doesn't even matter. >> So, here's here's the thing. They're going to search you have to fly. >> Hey, I'm not letting nobody touch. >> Why does somebody need to touch on my >> have to fly? >> For what reason? >> Because >> when I'm asking a lady to do it, >> sir. >> Does that make any sense? I'm Look, I'm asking the ladies. I'm not even making it a deal. Just >> I'm going to tell you one more time. >> You can either get sir. >> Hey, can you do it? You see like you see like somebody up though. Don't touch me. Don't neither one of yall touch me. >> Now they got a problem that I got. >> Hey, first of all, calm down. Let us let us work this out. Okay. >> So, >> so now now that I got him, it's an issue. And >> he can't. >> So, you went from a woman to now I get this man. Now it's an issue. >> Let us work it out. Give me a minute. Okay. Just kind of try to stay Look where they can't do it. >> But just look at where they pointing. They put >> Hold on. I'm telling you to hold on. Why can't he do it? >> He can choose what he wants. This doesn't work that way. >> But come on, man. If he's let this guy do it, you >> stop. Let's figure this out. >> So, at this point, we called our FSD and he's going to have the last day he can even fly today. >> So, we already started the bridge call. >> But if he's okay with doing it, why can't >> because they can't do that. They don't want us for the person to choose who they're wanting to. >> That's just how it works. But that's what's >> I get it. And if he says it, and if he says it's okay, then that's fine. We have no problem. We've been trying to pat him down for a while now. >> We're not trying to hold him here and that's what he want. >> They told me they want to send a lady. They said a man got >> Okay. Well, sir, >> I said just pat. >> What's your name? >> David. >> Okay. David >> from Atlanta, Georgia. >> The suspect remains frustrated and refuses to cooperate while the officers do [music] their best to deescalate the situation. >> Try to just calm down and listen to me. This is how they do things. You can't decide who you patches down. Okay? So, it's your choice. You can either allow them to do what they have to do so that you can get on the plane and go where you have to go or you don't have to fly. >> But let me ask you this. >> Two options. >> Let me ask you this, right? >> So, I'm allowing them to do the job that they want to do, right? But I'm not allowing them to elect the person that they want to elect because I want to elect the person. I don't want no man touching me. >> So, here's the thing. >> So, what's the issue with that? >> You don't have the ability to allow anyone. Hey, but look. He He don't even He It's not even no issue. I don't want no man, bro. Why do he got my Hey, come on. Just do it. Just do it. Just do it, bro. Just do it. That's stupid going to do it. >> I could have let the man do it right now. I could have let him do it. I said I don't want to do it. What's your choice? >> No, you said y'all don't want to do it now. >> You want to fly? >> You see me? Come on. Just let me get the to Atlanta, man. >> All right. >> We got to answer. Can we get somebody to pat him down so we can get this over with? He said, "Let's do it." We're >> We have a manager on the bridge call. >> They have to make the decision. We're not allowed to make that decision. >> Can we get that decision sooner than later? >> Way over right now. >> Where's she coming from? >> She's coming from F. >> Who is it? >> Pam. >> But because he already refused screening, that's a manager call. It's no longer our call. >> You know what I mean? >> Well, can she make the call? She got to come here to make the call. >> She I don't know. >> They said that he's >> We're just trying to get it done so we can move forward. I I get that. Like I said, that's not mine. I'm not >> All right. All right. Thank you. >> Excuse me. >> Yeah. I know. I see. I didn't. Yeah. >> All right. Listen, David. Listen. Listen to me, David. >> What? I do everything I ask. >> I know. I know. Well, they're talking. I get it. They're talking to their manager so they can make decisions and then hopefully we can get you searched and get you on your plane. But now we got to wait because of this. >> Because you're making a big cuz you're making a big deal. >> We all made a big deal. I make a big deal. I just walk through the machine. I do what y'all say. >> The man refuses to wait for the manager and launches into another outburst. This time the officers have had enough and aren't letting it slide. >> I take my shoes off. I step in line. I put my own >> I'm going to tell you one last time, David. You're either going to calm down or we're going to leave. >> Am I not explaining what go? Listen to her. Is that calming down or am I explaining calm down and we're going to stop raising our voice and we're going to stop making >> am I explaining what's going on or am I calm or am I am I am I just explaining you already explained it. We already understand nothing else to explain. >> But you explaining what you want to explain to me >> and we're done. I explained. >> So you got to have the last word for us to be done or can I not say my spiel because you're a police officer and your job is to do to serve us though. >> So to make sure that we're good, right? So I can't have a shoes to make sure that we My shoes are right there. >> Put them on. You're leaving. >> So let me ask you this. >> No, don't ask me anything. That's what it's supposed to That's what it's supposed to be. As a police officer, put your shoes on. You're leaving. >> As police officers, you supposed to be able to talk. >> So at this time, I'm trespassing. And you have the choice to leave. >> But you didn't search me that one time. So you didn't have nothing on me. >> You're getting trespass. >> You didn't have nothing on me. You're >> leaving. >> So y'all just made me walk out of here cuz I don't need nothing on me. Are you >> leave? Let's leave. Come on. >> Well, yeah. Crazy. >> Hey, where my stuff at? >> Where the uh where the uh stuff? >> Yeah. >> That's crazy. >> Don't do that. >> Hey. Hey. >> Hey. Now, what are you doing now? I'm grabbing my What is going on now? >> I grabbed my stuff. >> Hey, hold on. Hold on. >> Nope. >> So, now what I did cuz I grabbed my stuff. What are y'all doing? >> You're being arrested for trespassing after warning. >> Trespassing where? >> Did you not listen to one word we were saying, my man? >> Where am I trespassing? I'm right here with a ticket. >> You were >> with a ticket and y'all ain't got nothing on me. Y'all talking about some >> What is on me? Y'all talking about my dick on the pit still. Despite being in cuffs, he's still fired up and he's making sure the officers hear every word of it. >> 1050. >> That's right. You ain't even got nothing. >> Trespass, buddy. >> Trespass on what? There's a ticket right there. >> How many times they tell you to stop yelling and calm down and now you're leaving? >> Yelling. I'm talking to y'all. >> You got everything. Hey, can you say the next elevator? >> Time for accidental. >> Hey, make sure. >> Let me ask you a serious. You have anything down there? >> I don't have search me. I don't have nothing. I'm gonna search you. You might as well just Hey, check this out. Right. I came down here from Atlanta on an off day >> to come and chill because I'm not cutting no hair today. So I came down to Tampa to chill. I have been to 15 spots just drinking, eating, and having a good time. Then I come back here to get on the plane. Then I'm going through this cuz somebody say I got something on me. I don't have a thing. >> You could have chilled in the >> I didn't have nothing on me then. That's what I was trying to tell y'all. >> Relax. >> Hey, it's crazy. >> Let me ask you this. How you want somebody to relax when somebody telling y people go to TSA? >> I don't know. I never been through nothing like this. I I don't got nothing on me and y'all doing all of this. That's crazy, man. >> Learning experience. Don't react like this. >> Let me call my mother. >> What's your zip code, dude? >> I can call my mother. >> What's your zip code? >> There's nothing on me. You ain't going to find >> Hey, now you do that here. You're arrested. You get searched after you get arrested. Enough with me, bro. Enough with your phone number. He's clearly frustrated and struggling to process what just happened. But the officers waste no time reminding him where he stands. >> You Every time you get someone gets arrested, they get searched. >> I have never been I don't get arrested. >> Well, you got arrested today. >> Enough with it, man. >> That's Arkansas. Ludon, Arkansas. >> Thank you. >> Look at that. He ain't find nothing. this. >> It doesn't matter if I I'm hoping to find nothing, man. What is your problem? >> Cuz I asked one of the arrested trespass. >> I asked one of the >> That's the charge. >> I asked one of >> When you get arrested, then you get searched. >> I asked one of the >> We don't work for TSA. That's >> I told you TSA was running the thing. >> We're not talking. >> Yeah. Yeah. Enough with this. >> We're not talking. >> No, I don't. You don't got nothing. That's why you doing there's nothing here, bro. >> We'll do the shoes real quick. >> I'll do it in the car. All right. >> Hey, make sure I Where the phone at? Where my phone at? >> You're making the phone call jail. >> You're making the phone call from jail. >> Where my phone at? >> Where the phone at? >> I got I got my stuff at. Just let me know where my stuff is. >> Come on, man. Let me get a picture. >> Leave your foot. Arrest me on the airplane, but nothing. >> You going to have it's going. Yeah. Definitely have a problem back then though. >> I mean he went to >> You have anything you shouldn't have on you? >> I don't have >> Tell me now. >> That's why I'm mad. I don't have >> charge. >> What's the charge? >> The charge. I >> told you. >> Now sitting in the back of the police cruiser, the suspect finally settles down and has a surprisingly calm, collected conversation with the arresting officer. >> Honestly, homie, h that wouldn't frustrate you? I'm I'm in I'm in an airport. I'm trying to go home. >> Listen, when you go to your TSA screening, they're running the show. >> Uhhuh. >> So, when they're when they tell you what they're doing, that's their call. I don't even have a decision over that. They make that call. >> Mhm. >> So, we were trying to help you and work with you >> and you still have the issue. And we told you many times, you still did. >> And so, then when you keep when you keep yelling, you making you say, "Okay, it's time to leave. You can't trespass. We told you that." >> And then you still, we were saying, "Let's go. Let's leave." And you still didn't want to go. And you still were making a scene. Here comes that. And I'm sure you probably I think you might have picked up a disorderly charge. >> Can I pick up Can I Can I put my part in? So my part is when you say disorderly part. >> I'm not We were just riding in the car. Now when we say disorderly charge, right? >> So if I don't do what I'm doing in order to talk, how else is anybody going to hear me? Cuz y'all steady trying to shush me when I'm telling you it's nothing wrong in the in the first place. So they steady trying to shift me and I say, "Hey, I say I I you can see that I was willing to be searched." I said, "Hey, just please let a woman search me or something like that. TSA was making a decision and they were getting someone to do it and you still be making a decision. >> I didn't I I said if it's a woman it's fine. Then even when I went to the older black guy, y'all told him no. >> That's TSA's protocol and their procedure. >> So explain explain to me. But look, you can't even explain how that's fair though. When I when they said they had somebody I got somebody from TSA, right? >> I'm telling you I can't explain because I don't work for TSA nor do I know their proced. >> But so so is it noted up though >> or not? Cuz now you got me in a p you got me in a patty wagon when my plane leave at 8 and I can't get back home to my family because of a situation where I'm telling y'all I don't have nothing on me and then when somebody finally search me you still see I don't have nothing on me but I'm still getting hauled off with handcuffs like I did something wrong. He's not happy, but the officers give him a blunt dose of reality whether he accepts it or not. >> Because I'm still trying to defend myself and saying in the midst of a crowd where y'all making me look like I'm a bad person or I'm doing something I'm caring so I don't have a thing on me >> because that's what they constantly do to black people. That's crazy. >> Man, you never calm down. You just calm down. And even if you fly to get out of here and we have to wait for kids in here making a scene, you're making a seam while you leave. I agree with y'all. I said I I said I said that's okay. I said just have any I then I said could you search me? I said can he search me? I said matter of fact can she search me? >> That is up to TSA. That is not up to us. >> So >> I search you cuz you're arrested. >> I didn't make a scene. I just said I would like a lady to search me. You could still perform your job. >> That's a whole different thing when I'm searching you cuz you're arrested when I'm searching you. >> When they search you it's for their it's for fine. >> If I go through TSA I have to do whatever they say. If they tell me to do this, I have to do it. It's TSA. You're not flying unless you do what they say. >> So, I get where the frustration's coming from. But you kind of with nowadays with flying, you have to do what TSA does to do. >> So, if you requested that guy to search you and they'd say no, then he's not going to be able to. Even if I did it, >> I could show them my badge. I say, "Hey, they'll say no. We're doing it this way." And I got to be okay. That's just the way it is. >> So, they could have sent. But this thing though, >> when I asked them to send anybody, they still wasn't trying to send. So when they said so first this what they first told me they said hey we bringing the police offic so they could do it. Y'all came and y'all didn't even search me >> and then they had me waiting on somebody else there to make sure everything >> but what's the point of lying to me like I'm a terrorist threat or something. I'm not nobody. I'm trying to get home to Atlanta. >> After the incident the suspect was charged with trespass after warning and disorderly intoxication in a public place. Number four, man couldn't handle his liquor and got escorted [music] out of the airport. On June 21st, 2025, officers responded to a dispatch to Tampa International Airport. Reports stated that an unruly passenger caused a disturbance and even charged at airport staff. Here's what happened next when the officers arrived at the scene. >> Okay, listen to me. Can I see your >> Yes, sir. I I don't know why I got kicked off the plane. I got a drink off this man. I was having a good conversation with my person sitting next to me. Okay. >> Um my my fiance was sitting next to me on the other side and then all of a sudden they're kicking me off the plane. Okay. >> I got a little upset that they're kicking me off the plane, but then I said, "Okay, I don't want to cause problems." I came over to this guy here. Yep. >> Because he's been nice to me. >> He's the one who served me the drinks. >> Okay. >> He felt like I wasn't too drunky. He served me drinks. >> Okay. >> Um >> I'm just I'm just home. >> I would like to go on the plane and and I'm not trying to cause trouble. I was just talking to the to the kid next to me. >> He's just talking to him next to me. >> Coming off the aircraft. He was opening up all the bins >> and started screaming on the aircraft. >> Once he got off, he was still screaming. >> Was this an inbound? >> No, he's going he was going out. >> Oh, yeah. He uh >> Yeah, he ripped the railing off the wall and it looked like he was going to throw it at her and I. So, I said to her I said to her, "Let's go." And we kind of just like >> So, you seen him rip that off? >> Oh. Oh, he like Yeah, he he was charging. That's why >> we were like to us. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Can I see your side of bed and your side of badge? >> What do you need me to do? Uh, >> right. So, if you want to go get the statement, witness statements out the police room. Okay. >> So, they can go ahead and start writing their story out cuz they got to be the CRA and everything. >> So, I don't even know where they went. Oh, they're over there. >> Okay. You want to walk back down here, man? >> What? >> Back down here. You want to walk back down here? So, >> it does appear that he damaged airport property and uh if we got maintenance coming out, take a look at it, see how much damage actually occurred cuz he ripped the hand off. >> The suspect claims that he was just having a conversation with the people around him, but the evidence immediately says otherwise. With that, the officers confront him with his inconsistencies. >> Nobody knows. See, there was a hand that he snatched off the side. So, but if you want to have a seat right there, ma'am, we're going to go over there with him. Right here, man. Just have a seat right there. Okay. >> Thank you. >> All right. >> So, it's going to be at least criminal mischief and disorderly. >> Okay. >> So, >> wait, how what was the list? How much? >> Oh, it's going to I guarantee it's going to be over a,000. Wait, wait, wait. >> Yeah, you ripped the handrail. Hang on. Let him finish talking. >> Just so you can hear. >> You rip, you ripped the handrails off down there. >> Yes, I did. >> Okay, that cost money. >> Okay. Can I get a ticket for that and then still move on with my travels? >> No, you lost that opportunity when you lost your temper, >> so I have to be arrested. >> Well, I'm going tell you for right now. Just go ahead and put your hands around the back right now. Sean, just like we put these on, we can take them off if we deem that. Okay. >> Necessary. Okay. >> Just stay calm. It makes this process a little easier. >> Can I get one? >> You don't need to. >> Look how big. >> You don't need to. >> But I don't want to hurt. >> I don't want to pinch your skin. >> It hurts your shoulders. >> And that's why we're doing what we're doing. >> If we wrench it, it's too It hurts your shoulders. >> So there's no way I'm catching this flight. >> There's only catching the flight. >> So can you Can somebody go back and get my fiance here? >> I'm dealing with her. She's right there. She's sitting over there. So, I will inform her of everything that's going on. >> Okay. >> Hi, man. Do you have your ID? >> What? >> You have your ID on you? >> Yes. >> Okay. Let me get your ID. Figure down there talking to him. Um, let me go ahead and get contact number for him. What's your phone number for you? >> With the suspect now apprehended, the officers turned to the suspect's fiance to deliver the unfortunate news. >> Well, being you guys are out of state and I'm still waiting on a maintenance attorney to do a property damage estimate. It's going to be fairly expensive to replace that handrail. So, he's going to And he's intoxicated. So, he's going to go to jail. >> True. and he'll have to get bonded out or he'll get issued to bond at the jail. However, the jail is going to handle it. You may be able to bond him out tonight, maybe tomorrow. >> I don't know how any of that works. [clears throat] >> Well, it's downtown Tampa is where he's going to go. >> Okay. So, how do I I >> What do I do? Can I get a ride there? >> Once once he goes down there, >> give him some time, he'll be able to call you. >> Okay. So when he calls you, then you can he'll tell you where to go and what to do. >> I call him right here. Right here. What does it mean? >> I just want to >> So um you you already explained to her how it's going to happen. >> Yeah. What's going on? I was I was explaining to her how to, you know, get a hold of them after. >> Okay. >> So it'll be quick and painless. We'll get them over there, get processed, and then come right back out. Okay. >> They'll come back. Well, you >> get processed, come back out, and then we have to find another flight to go back to Buffalo. >> So, you can meet two days for that. >> I can meet you down >> down at the jail. >> Yeah, it can take a while. Sometimes depends on how heavy they booked they are. If they got a lot of activity, it can take >> down at the jail where >> he's going to give you the address. >> Can Can she follow us? >> I I have >> to a point to a Can she follow us to a point? >> You don't have a car here, right? >> So, he'll give you the address. You can Uber over there. >> Yeah, great. >> Oh, we're going to a whole different location. We have to go to a process. >> So, we'll send her over there. Once you're processed, she can start arranging to get you. >> The suspect throws out a surprising request, but the officers quickly remind him he's no longer in a position to negotiate. >> Can you guys help me out at all? >> We got to do this as quick as possible. No, no, not not quick as possible, but the least ticket as possible because I never >> I never hurt nobody. I never front nobody. >> Listen, this is part of what's going to happen to you. You're going to go down, get processed. You're going to get a return date. Once the rec return date comes, they're going to issue you an attorney. The attorney is going to call the state attorney's office. You're probably going to make an arrangement on to pay for whatever damages you make. Once you get you pay for the damages you make, it's probably going to be no pro. Oh, so I can possibly still leave here today. >> Well, no. No. Well, he's he's he's basically giving you an expectation of how the legal process works. >> Yeah. Yeah. You know, >> well, you you you are going to probably leave today depending if you I don't know your background. I don't know if you want it anywhere else. I don't know if you have a >> Oh, yeah. I have I have nothing. >> Have you ever been arrested before? >> Everything has been convicted in in charge. >> So, go ahead. We'll turn this way. So there's there's nothing for for me >> a very this is the perfect scenario. You have nothing pending. You're going to go down there. You're going to get bonded out. You're going to bond out and then from there on in you're going to get a court date to either come back or make a phone call. You get an attorney. You make arrangements. You pay and you probably have to see Tamber again. That's how you >> So basically I'll be let out tonight. >> What time is it? Very likely. Very likely. very light or or or very early in the morning maybe >> like after midnight or something depending on how busy >> depending how how busy that you be in town. >> Can you guys to expedite me? >> We don't have any say that or control over that but I wish I did but we don't. >> So first if it's crowded then it is slow if it's quick and you got pending. >> Yeah. >> We've seen guys come out and they haven't yet. >> Yeah, that happens. I shouldn't I shouldn't even be here in Tampa. I should be in New York, but because they transferred us because I can't start a flight. I'm here in Tampa, man. >> During the pat down, the suspect voices more concerns, but it's clear the officers have heard it all before. >> We'll step right through here. Okay. Yep. Watch step. Yep. >> Watch step. >> He's going to patch you down. Um >> and then we'll put you inside. Okay. >> Not a problem. All right, brother. I'm going to I'm going to bring you right over to the back of the car here. Right here. Right here. >> And then I'm just going to have you stand facing the car. >> And then open your legs a little wider. >> There you go. >> Yeah. >> Just like that. >> Sean, you don't have anything that's going to help me, do you? >> No. Okay. That was right there, bro. >> That was close. >> That was right. Dude, I I saw a hit. That was right there. Sean, you didn't move. We all jumped. >> You stood still like a hole. >> That's pretty good. Where you from? >> I'm from But I alley, right? >> I grew up in New York. >> You're going to get there. You're going to get You might have to find another airline. They don't fly every day. >> I don't understand. Okay. I was mad about and yeah, I parked a thing that was already broken. I understand that. I should owe it a couple hundred fine, but I don't understand why I'm being arrested. >> Sean, have a seat for me and I'll explain that to you. Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> Yes, sir. >> Listen, one is mine. >> Sit first. >> Yeah. Take your time. Take your time. You don't have to hurry. >> And listen to me. If you need to sit sideways, sit sideways cuz I know it's not comfortable. So, whatever makes you comfortable, get that way. >> I'm good. >> Okay, >> I'm good. Um, wait, hold on. >> Yep. >> Can you loosen my left hand? >> Okay. Can you put it out this way? Yep. There we go. >> Just a little bit. >> He breaks down just as the investigation wraps up, but the officers handle it with quiet understanding rather than force. >> Just one notch. >> This one right here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. One notch would be great. >> I'm going to loosen it one notch. But what happened was it twisted a little bit around your wrist is what happened. My twist isn't right. Yeah. And twist it this way. Yeah. There you go. Is that better? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. There's your >> No, you're welcome. Listen, you listen. >> I'm not trying to cause trouble. Listen, you have not been a knucklehead to us. And that's why we're going to that's why we're treating you the way we're treating you. >> I didn't mean to cause trouble in the in the airline. >> We know that. >> We know, buddy. We know. Trust me. We know you're not a bad guy, bro. We know all the way back. >> You don't have to do it. It's >> our policy. >> Trust me, we live in a world now where we have to do it. >> And you did. >> Yeah. >> You You welcome me in. >> Hey, >> thank you. >> You're welcome. You're welcome. Good luck. >> You were really nice to me. >> Of course. >> And I understand what I did. I don't understand what I did wrong. >> Okay. >> But it was in aggravation. >> No, I understand. I do. I do understand. I sympathize with you, brother. I do, sir. You're welcome. We'll we'll make this as quick and painless as possible. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Okay. Good luck. Watch your head. All right. We're going to close you in. >> Be careful. >> In the end, the suspect was charged with disorderly intoxication and criminal mischief worth at least $1,000. Number three, X crashes the airport and all hell breaks loose. On June 13th, 2025, officers at Tampa International Airport were dispatched after [music] multiple reports came in about a man repeatedly chasing and assaulting a woman. Here's what happened when they arrived on scene and made contact with [music] both parties. >> What's going on? >> So, she's arguing with this guy, talking about he's not supposed to be here, blah, blah, blah. >> Are you involved in anything? >> No, no, no, not at all. I was sitting there with my son. >> I need to see what what what's going on. What's the >> I was trying to talk to my old lady, but she's mad at me, so I'm leaving. >> I got 10 minute parking only. >> But was she saying that you're not supposed to be around? Did she Is there a restraining order or something? >> No, we had an argu We didn't even have an argument this morning. So, they had a well check done on her this morning and she left >> and her mom said, "Hey, just go check on her." >> Yeah. >> Look, take my ticket. I'm leaving. I'm actually going to clear water right now. >> So, is she flying out or? >> Yeah, she's flying out. I'm leaving. I'm leaving. You can you can escort me out. >> Well, let we need to make sure that she's good. >> So, hold on. Just hold on a second. Just wait a second. >> She just doesn't want me around. >> What's going on? >> So, um, so my girlfriend, she bought me a plane ticket, a three-hour drive to Boston, right? So, I'm trying to get away from the cops escorted me over here because of my kid's father. He tried to get me and everything. All I wanted to do, all I kept telling was to leave me alone or I'm going to call the police. I don't want no issues. I just want to get out of here. I don't >> Who did you have an issue with? >> My baby daddy. >> Where's he? >> I don't know. He said he was going to fly where my girlfriend lived and everything. He went he went that way somewhere. I could show you a picture of what he looks like. >> Did anything happen here? >> Um he he kept trying to get me to go back there and stuff and he put his hands on me and stuff. >> Where did he >> like if you don't believe him, you can ask her. >> I'm not saying that. Listen, you need to let anything happened or is this just verbal? He's wanting to leave. Did he hit you stuff? You like >> he like he grabbed me by my arm, yanking it, telling me to let go. Let's go. He's like, >> he grabbed her by the arm and yanked her, trying to course her to the corner. >> Like I wasn't trying to start. No issues here. I was just trying to get on the plane like I was supposed to go leave away from him. The police escorted me here. >> When was that? >> This morning. I've been here since 10:00. >> Okay. The officers begin by interviewing the victim and the details she reveals are not only disturbing but paint a clearer picture of just how serious the situation is. >> So, do you guys have no Do you have like a no contact? >> They told me not to be around him. >> Okay. Is there a no contact order in place? >> Um, they they I guess she said something about they were going to put one in. >> Okay. But it's not >> um >> All I was trying to do is get out of here. >> Do you have an ID? >> Yeah, I have an ID. >> And what's the argument about? All because I was leaving. >> You're leaving him? >> Yes, I'm leaving him. And I've been telling him this. >> That's why the cops told me. >> Did he like How did he get here? How did you get here? >> Um, I got here because the police escorted me. >> No, I'm saying >> how did he get here? >> Like, when did What time did you get here? >> I got here at 10:30 in the morning. >> How did he get here? >> I don't know how he got here. >> He just knew you were here. >> He just knew I was here. My girlfriend lied to him and said I was in the Orlando one and he he he's over here looking up everything. >> Go ahead. >> He threatened to pull up at her house. >> He was like, "I'll do 67 to life. I'll do 67 to life." >> So he grabbed your arm. Um trying to pull you where? >> He was trying to take me back there to the restroom. Like I'm like why? I was like, "Just go. Like, get away from me. I just want to get on the plane and go and walk." >> So, it was unwanted that >> it was unwanted. >> Okay. >> Like, he's been to jail multiple times because of domestic violence and he keeps going. >> Yeah. She made a scene. >> Just waiting on camera, but I don't want it grabbing her. >> Okay. >> I didn't grab her. >> Look at the cameras. >> We're looking at cameras right now, bud. I'm not saying you did or didn't. I got to do my job. >> She's saying I grabbed her. Did you grab her by the arm at all? >> I I >> So if I have a cam if if a camera shows you grabbing her arm, >> I didn't grab it any kind of way. If I did, I didn't grab it like >> Well, fine, guys. Can you grab >> the man strongly denies the accusations, but the victim continues to share more damaging information, leaving little doubt in the officer's minds that something serious happened. >> No, no, no, no. Can I show you? I I maybe did. Can you talk to me? >> That was it. But then watch. >> If I did talk to If I did talk to you, that was >> But that's not a grab. That's not That's a touch. But she's saying it's a grab. >> I didn't grab her cuz there's two there. >> If you grab and yank, I mean, >> I didn't grab I didn't grab I didn't grab and yank her. >> Okay. >> She wouldn't let me get near her. >> Okay. When I saying you did or didn't, man, we just got to figure that out because >> like I said, I didn't grab her. I didn't go her. I didn't >> Did you talk to the frontier guy? What did he say? that she I think he saw Ashley was that they were >> Can you help me? I'm looking for Southwest. >> Hello. >> Okay. So, >> I don't know. She's saying that I grabbed her. >> How you doing, ma'am? >> Hey, I'm Officer Richards, the airport police department. >> Um, I know my partner talked to you a little bit, but so can you tell me kind of just a little bit of what happened? >> So, I'm going to start with this morning. >> Okay. So this morning, my girlfriend bought me a plane ticket. I got the crew to go to Boston because I told him I was done with him. Okay. >> Because he's so violent. >> And who's he to you? >> Huh? >> Who's he to you? >> He's my kid's father. >> Are you guys married? >> We're not legally married. >> You're not married. Okay. But you guys have kids together? >> We do have kids together. And even said to him that he is dangerous. >> Okay. >> So, do you have a restraining order against him or anything like that? >> No, but I want to put one on. >> Okay. Yeah, I would I would pursue. So, do you think I'll be able to do that from up there? >> Because he he literally said while I was on the phone with her saying, "Oh, I'm going to fly where she lives." >> Are you trying to establish residency somewhere else? Like another state? >> I'm trying to stay up there with her. >> If you get up there, then you can if you establish residency up there and you become a resident of that state and you can you can um go to the courthouse and >> then file for a restraining order against him. Before the officers can walk away, the victim reveals one final piece of information that could change how they approach the entire case. >> And then any paperwork and stuff that you have, you know, that'll use to build your case for it. >> The officer this morning basically was like, "Stay away from him. Do not come back." >> So I that's what I was doing. I've been here since 10:00. >> Yeah, I saw you downstairs earlier, I think. Right. >> I've been sitting here minding my own business, waiting for my plan to appro depart at 8:00, right? and he just comes up here harassing me. >> Okay. >> He's not supposed to be around me according to the officer >> cuz they're supposed to be putting in a some kind of no contact. [clears throat] >> Okay. >> So, >> um but >> he's been to jail multiple times for domestic, >> right? Has But as far as the incident today, >> weapons. >> Okay. As far as the incident today, um obviously it got loud and verbal, right? >> It did. I I apologize for that. That was >> People argue. It's fine. But but it worked. What we're concerned about is when things become physical, >> right? So, did at any point did it become physical or >> he he did grab me like this and he was like, "Come on, let's go to the bathroom." Like, "Why are you trying to take me to the bathroom for?" >> Okay. >> So, he grabbed you by the wrist. I mean, did he squeeze really hard or was it just like a normal kind of grab? >> I was trying to pull away from him. >> Okay. >> Cuz I don't want to go with him. All I want to do is get on my plane in one piece. >> I got you. I got you. And where did that occur at? >> What do you mean? >> Where he where he grabbed >> her in this section? >> Like right here on the towel? >> Yes. >> Okay. Here, you ask. She wants to ask me a question. >> Who's this? >> That's my girlfriend. >> I was wondering, is there any like security or officer here talking about her? >> So, we we have our own police department here at the airport. So, there's there's a bunch of us that are here along with TSA and Homeland Security and and all that. So, we're all here very close by. As far as like her having an escort, you know, we're not going to be able to do that probably. >> No, I mean, yeah. So at at a minimum he will he will be removed and separated from her so she doesn't have to worry about that anymore. >> Yeah. This has been going on since last night. >> Yeah. Like I stayed up all night. >> Okay. Okay. >> It takes some time, but the officers eventually secure the footage they need. And with the evidence in hand, they're ready to make their move. >> I literally told my girlfriend this morning to please call the cops cuz I'm scared for my life. >> Yeah. >> I shouldn't be scared. But yeah, she she will she'll be fine. I I wouldn't I wouldn't worry about anything at at all. Okay. >> I'm sorry. I called because I >> That's okay. >> Yeah, no problem. I'm going to give you back to her. Okay. >> Okay. >> Just sit tight. I'll be right back with you. Okay. [clears throat] >> Put the phone in his pocket. >> He's about to take me to jail. >> Turn around. >> Put your phone down. Put your phone down. >> All right. Come get me. >> Put your phone down. Have it. >> Come get me. It shows that I touched her. >> You have another bear. >> Yeah. >> No, I'm going to have a second one. I want >> show that I touched her. >> Huh? >> It shows that I touched her. >> What am I being arrested for? >> Domestic violence. >> Touch or strike. So, I touch that. >> Unwanted touch. >> Does it show me physically touching it? Well, over here. Yes. And then over there. >> Can't put your hands on anybody even if it's the uh smallest amount >> without any voice or nothing. >> It's unwanted touch and you grab somebody. >> Babe, it's >> battery. >> Baby, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> Uh I don't know. Do you Do you want me to write it or >> I can write it? I mean, >> we just don't have it. >> We'll have to go back into the PD to get a car. >> Despite the weight of the charges, the suspect doesn't seem to care. He's heading to the station, but the gravity of the situation hasn't sunk in. >> It ain't going to be my super comfortable back here. You got to try to sit the way you feel the best. >> Sit the way you're going to be the most comfortable. I'll help you get up there, but you push me. >> Yep. >> Got your back hand. >> Yeah. >> Which one? It wasn't that was it? >> No, unfortunately not. >> But I can't do anything, >> bro. This one's loose. I can't I can't >> One of them's on it like last tick. So ain't going to get >> Bro, that's policy. I can't do any loosening that bobby lock. >> No, no, no, don't don't. >> Huh? >> You have to put >> That's policy, Bob. brother. >> Can you put the window? >> I'll roll the window. >> I got claustrophobia. >> Can you do it over my head? >> Over my head? >> I can't, dude. >> All right, boss. Roll the window down. >> Sorry about this. >> Live and learn, right? >> Just a phone. He wants to throw out phon and keys. >> Yeah, watch your head. >> In the end, the suspect was charged with domestic battery. Number two, police waste no time dealing with this entitled man. On July 9th, 2024, officers were called to Tampa International Airport in response to a report about a disruptive male passenger. Here's what happened when officers arrived. Yeah. >> Let's pull him down that way just to make sure he doesn't do dumb stuff. >> Something else. Um, so the only thing the only thing Yeah, you need to uh keep an eye on on him at the gate. He might cause a problem or something because I do smell alcohol on him. We're not going to keep an eye on them. We're not here to babysit people. If the airline doesn't like them, then we'll deal with it then. >> We're going to walk down there. >> Um, but I did I did the entire pattern on him. >> I didn't find anything on the bag. Only had that hair gel. Didn't find any weapons or anything. >> So, >> so just a bunch of drama. >> Yes. The disruption didn't go unnoticed. One passenger grew concerned enough to approach officers [music] worried about the man being allowed on the flight. >> We're going to let the nutcase get on the airplane with us. It's >> not my decision, sir. >> Who's is it? >> Would be the airlines. >> Okay. Well, I think we're off for a bad day. >> You can talk to the airlines. I >> will. Thank you. So, you want him off the air side? >> The officers informed the man he's no longer welcome at the airport and that the airline won't be accommodating him. Though, based on his behavior, it's not hard to guess how he'll respond. >> All right. I'm Officer Melos with the airport PD.
