I promise you. >> don't have anything on you now. >> No, I don't know that's not >> pulled around the corner. Look, that's not mine. I don't I'm not >> argue with you. >> Okay, I'm not arguing, but I'm having I don't even know what you're dropping with your property. I'm having an anxiety attack because it's not mine. Spell your first name. Hey, this officer is talking. It's not mine. Spell your first name. Courtney, you see that? Date of birth? Junior? Can you keep Am I going to jail? I didn't even want it mine. >> right now you're being detained, all right? What I need you to do is start calming down for me. I'm having an anxiety attack. It wasn't mine. The officers weren't mistaken. They saw the woman discard something. Still, she's adamant it wasn't her. I don't know what it is. I It wasn't I don't know what it is or who it is. I didn't know. I was walking my hands. I don't know why I'm being detained. I just explained to you why, okay? But we were I didn't How are you going to get get you How are you going to get taken to jail for something that I It's not I don't even know what it is. Okay, I'm not I'm not I'm having an anxiety attack. >> Listen to me. I'm not going to argue with you about it right now, but but here's what I'm going to tell you. I I would like to talk to you about what that potentially is because Keep my hair out of my mouth. We're about to I'm about to scratch He's talking to you. Focus on what he's saying. I'm about to test it, but I would like to know if it's something that's going to be harmful to us, like So, before I go before I go and start messing around with it. Okay? But that's you don't Just before I talk to you, I'm going to Listen to me. Okay, before I talk to you, I'm All right, you can talk to me while I talk to you alone, okay? All right, walk over here with me. Got it? You're a This is hers, right? Yeah. Yeah, that's hers. I want you to I want you to be honest. You're not being honest with me. Stop. If you touch that [ __ ] If that's If that's If you want to stick with it and that's fine. And you can stick with it if it's not yours. It's It's not yours. All right. All right. I've watched you do this before. You you had to do with it. I didn't I don't know. I I It's only you and Chris out here. So, that doesn't that doesn't mean that doesn't mean you didn't drop something. I didn't drop anything. I didn't drop anything. I didn't drop anything. You want me to lie? >> give me an explanation as to what you dropped. I don't know what you're talking See, I don't know. I I don't know that I dropped anything. I don't know. Exactly. That's the only reason you're talking to me. You're trying to say What? So, what's the explanation? I don't know anything. The woman requests a private conversation with one of the officers. And while they question her further, the other begins testing the contents of the baggy. What's the explanation? I don't know anything. Okay. No, I'm not but that's okay. If you're not going to If you're going to run Hey, can you just can you just stand in colder? I'm not going to I'm not going to go back and forth. No. So, you can go to the front of the sidewalk right now. All right, come on. Back this way. From my point of view, you're guilty. I don't know. I'm not the responding officer. You had a chance to talk to him. Well, I mean if it wasn't mine, I don't know what that's what it is. I can't tell him what he wants to hear, obviously. I don't even know if it's mine. I don't even know why any of this is mine. I didn't have anything How long have you been doing this? I'm not doing this. I don't understand why I'm going to jail. This is not I have nothing to do with whatever you found on the ground. I I didn't even None of it was even mine. You just found this on the ground and decided to arrest me for it. >> [crying] >> Officer Roberts, do you have a scale in your vehicle? A scale? Uh no, sir. How How did you How did you find something you found on me? You'll find something on the on the sidewalk, but where did you look at me? All right. And you're just charging me with it? All right. She threw it, right? I It's drugs and evidence. Huh. I didn't even have anything. Huh. I'm not arguing. I threw it. All right. She keeps crying and repeating that the baggy isn't hers. But the officers have a hard time believing her story. They didn't find anything on me. It's not magic. It's not >> I promise you I didn't have anything. >> Listen to me for a second. It's not magic that I got out of my car. >> I promise you I didn't have anything on me. >> walked straight over to Yeah, but I really didn't do anything like you're saying I did. I really didn't. I don't know why you can charge me with something you found on the ground. There's aluminum foil just like what was in your pocket. You all have your stuff. You didn't find anything on me at all. Yeah, because you threw it on the ground. Silly. I didn't even have anything to throw. I found aluminum foil in your bag. Why? We can I don't know. I don't know what to describe me as. I just came from You have a lighter? I just came from a sleep game or the best place. Best place in the world? And that was I mean my I know, but I was with I was with two other people. Well, they have So, why are you all the way over here? Cuz we have some best best friends. Yeah, but that's who You can't get to Diamond Bar from right here. You can't You can go right here, right? What do you You have radio on? No, you can go straight. >> You're on Kirby Street. >> Yeah, but I I can go from St. John's. >> if you go straight, St. John's is that way. So, why are you going to two different locations? Because Cuz he told me y'all were going somewhere else. We were supposed to pick up one of his best friends, but I mean, I also left some stuff that I had to pick up and I had some clothes and stuff. Corny, do you have anything else on your person? We're not going to find any more I don't think so. I need to do anything. >> We're not going to find any more I promise you I don't have anything. I promise you I don't Look, I don't have anything. >> These are yes or no questions. >> No. We're not going to find any pipes? I promise you >> syringes? >> you I don't even know if I have anything. Yeah, I have something that's not mine, though. Because my officer witnessed you throw it on the ground. >> throw it, though. I promise you. For a moment, it's just back and forth denial until the woman lets something slip that exposes the truth. I don't want to No, whatever you saw I didn't throw. Obviously, cuz I'm not I I haven't had anything at all. I'm going to I mean, I'm strictly going to see him in prison. You're going to rehab? Yeah. What are you going to rehab for? Well Well, I have to I'm trying to get closer to the baby, so I wanted to go to this rehab that I could visit daily. So, this rehab center, what are you going to rehab for? Well, I mean, I've been going there to get closer to the baby, like I said, and basically to get everything You don't need rehab for no reason. >> that. Okay, obviously I've been on the street I've been I've been on the I've been homeless for a while. I don't >> You don't need rehab for being homeless. I know that. What do you need rehab for? Because I mean >> What substance were you using? I was using I was using Is that what was like maybe like eight eight or nine months ago when I got off of it. >> Okay, I thought you said you didn't use I don't. I don't Okay, so you're on Subutex. But, that's the only thing that I take. But, I'm trying to get sober and all the way clean so I can do what I can do with my baby. And that's why I'm going to rehab. You don't use You're going to rehab because you used and you were on Subutex. >> I'm going to rehab because I've been on Subutex and I used and I drank and I was I was Were you addicted to Subutex now? I mean Is that what you're saying? I mean, I thought I mean, yeah, I guess you could say that. Okay, I got off Subutex nine months ago. And after that, I've been getting I've been trying to get Subutex like here and there off the you know what I'm saying? Off the street? Basically, yeah. Because Okay, I don't have insurance. I used to get Subutex um a a script for it. Um I don't my insurance is messed up. Once she confirms what the officers had suspected all along, they move forward with the arrest and wait for a female officer to arrive. I think you can go not that far, but probably that car and search you. They said you dropped Do you have anything else on you because if I fall out from that >> I don't want to put on anything on you. I don't. Is that what you told them when you dropped the two? I don't have anything on me. You're not going to find anything on me. Look, you're not going to find anything on me so I hope not. Do the best you can. I know it's pretty well. You're harder than iron. All right, at least you didn't lie to me. That's good. Don't lie to me. It's a good thing to do. I don't know what they're doing with you from here, unfortunately. I need you to do better. I know. You told me you were going to do better. Yeah? Do better, Courtney, okay? All right, come on. Got to move. Have a seat. Watch your feet. The woman was later charged with possession of an illegal substance and obstruction. Number four. Trespasser talks back to cops and gets shut down fast. On November 1st, 2025, officers were dispatched to a local college after reports came in about a woman who refused to leave, even after being warned for trespassing. What follows is their encounter with the suspect. Hey, miss. Hi. So, the college they want you to go. Are you a student here? I use a computer like usually on the weekends. What's the problem? Why do I have to go? That's just what they're telling us. That's That's what they're asking you to have you do. They say you're up here bathing, doing whatever you're doing, which is fine. They just want you to leave for today. Or just leave for now. I'm not bathing nothing. I'm fixing my hair. How is that bathing? Ma'am, are you an actual student here? I just told you I said it to him. You said you come down to the computer. Are you an actual registered student? >> Like what I do. In the summertime, I'm just not I'm going to something, so I'm not doing it for right now, or class. So, you're currently not. That's okay. Yeah, but I use the computer every Saturday. So, what's the problem? Uh, they no longer want you on this property. That is the problem. Okay, but you guys have [laughter] to tell me I did. I can't just come up here and think what you done. You didn't do anything. >> that's the school. They just asked us to have you leave, so that's what we're going to do. We're not going to hold what >> to know what I did. I understand that, but I'm not going to go back and forth with you. The Listen, the college wants you to go. I have an A in English and I'm in administration from Virginia, and that's where I'm from. We're not doing this. You're not going to tell me I have to leave when I didn't do nothing. What did I do? What's What's on paper? Where's the proof? This is a security right here. How you going to tell somebody they have to leave when they didn't do nothing? How would you feel? I didn't do nothing. IT DOES MATTER. HOW YOU GOING TO tell somebody they have to leave when they didn't do anything? It does matter. I'm not arguing with Sir, stop touching me. Don't touch Will you stop it? I don't care. Don't touch me, okay? Okay, come on. I'll come back and get this. Don't Don't do that. Come on. Sir. You could just say okay and leave and make this easy. Come on. What am I going to do? How you going to tell somebody they have to go when I didn't do anything? How you going to tell somebody they have to go when I didn't do anything? Don't Please don't Please don't do that. Stop touching me then. WHY ARE YOU GOING TO You want TO GET MAD CUZ YOU TOUCHED me somebody. Just leave. Don't No, I did not do nothing. How you going to tell somebody they have to leave when they didn't do anything? You keep resisting and you're going to be faced down on this ground. Do you understand me? She pushes boundaries from the start, but the officers remain firm. They're not here for games. You're playing with the wrong one. I'm not playing with nobody. Don't do it. Just leave. How you going to kick somebody off the property when they didn't do anything? Just leave. Stop dragging me down the steps like that. >> Are you going to walk? Okay, you don't have to drag me down there like that. >> Let's go. That don't give you no right to do that, sir. Let's go. You know you're right. Don't do that. Let's go, please. Okay. Sir, stop dragging me down the steps like Then walk on your own. You are interfering with the officer and you will go to jail for resisting. Just walk on your own. Stop putting your hands on people like that. >> Walk. If I put my hands on you, I'm putting you in cuffs. Then you're going to have to, Oh, well. Put your hands behind your You caused this. Just don't do that. You can't keep telling me what I'm doing. I'm not going to do that. So, cut. No, I'm not doing anything. You can't control me, sir. You only can control me because you're a cop. That's the only reason. You're way in there. Stop. Stop. I told you to stop. I'm not playing with you. I'm not playing with you. Whatever you think you got going on, just saying it. Stop. I've been more than patient trying to help you out of this property. Back against the car. 14 10. She can stand right here. Good. Don't go. I'm I'm going to pick her Now sitting quietly in the back of the cruiser, the suspect begins to open up offering her version of what led to the incident. We asked her to leave. She starts No. talking foolishness. Ma'am, I'm the officer. Let me check you, okay? So, what's going on? All right. Does he know what's going on? All right. I'm going to put you on this other side for her privacy for her. Hey, Victoria. Hey, real quick. I'm just going to read you your Miranda rights, okay? You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court. You have the right to have an attorney present now or anytime during questioning. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you without cost. If you talk to me, you have the right to stop answering questions and speak to an attorney at any time. Do you understand these rights? Are you a student here? Yeah. No, I used to be. Used to be? Okay. Do you understand what I just read to you, your Miranda rights? Yes, sir. Okay. Well, when were you a student here? Well, when I first started Okay. In the summer? Okay, so not too long ago, right? Okay. So, explain what what what like what happened today. You came in Were you trying to use the computer? Were you using the bathroom? I came in usually not every Saturday, every other Saturday, even if you're not a student they give you like a a guest pass to use the computer. Mhm. And I I work I don't work today, so I was saying let me go in and use some English that had the handle on the computer. Okay. I don't know. The first bathroom was I couldn't get in like marked off or something and it was closed. So, okay, I went upstairs and you know, the second bathroom I go to the bathroom I maybe cuz my bag is big, I guess, whatever. A lot of people ask me why your bag is so big. I'm like cuz it's my uniform in there. Yeah. You [laughter] know, sometimes I don't Sometimes I go to the gym. I don't always make it to the gym, so if you see me with that in Sometimes. Okay. It's pretty good gym. You know, so if you see you know, if you see like excuse me, if you see a big bag it's just my gym clothes in there, my work uniform. I don't you know, I don't have a vehicle right now, so I don't go straight, you know, to where I live. I go I have to straight to work or if I can straight to the gym. So, if you see this big, my apologies, that's why. While the suspect expands on her story, a few odd claims catch the officer's attention. That's fine. You know, and then I don't I don't know if that's maybe what's the problem was. I come out the bathroom and the lady's like, "Hi, how are you?" I'm like, "Hi, how are you doing?" I'm thinking it's just a formal conversation and she asked me, "Who's your your teacher?" I said, "No." So, then he said, "Do you know teacher? Who's your something teacher?" I'm like, "Teacher who?" And she walked out the bathroom. Was she a Do you Do you Do you recognize her from when you enrolled here? I did not. I I don't think I've seen her She looks familiar, but I don't think I've ever talked to her. Is that what you're asking me? >> Okay. And then I guess I'm assuming she went to get security, right? And so then like it had to be like 20 exactly 20 minutes later and he's not going to know security. I can't come in here. I'm a man. You have to get out. Well, no, but when is this a bathroom? Get out what? Then I'm like, "Well, get out what?" You can't be in here. Well, what did I do? You didn't ask me what my name was. You didn't ask me what did I do? Somebody complained on you. I complained about what? Sir, what did you She was the only one in the bathroom. So, what did you do? I complained about what? You're not telling me. I have a right to know. What are you talking about? You're telling me she He He or she complained. Well, who are you talking about? Complained about what? And that was it. I used to be a student and I used to be in the summertime. Don't you see me every other Saturday? So, I come accuse the computer lab. You seen me before because I've seen you in the library. Okay. This security guard I'm talking about. So, I know you seen me before. So, I said, "So, what's the What do you What do I have to leave?" Or you're still not telling me what did I do? I have a right to know what did I do? That was like I guess he called you guys. Okay. All right. So, in the future, right? Just so we don't get things mixed up, okay? >> [snorts] >> They're private organizations They're private business, right? They're private company, okay? Any privately owned business or apartment, hotel, lease, right? If they ask you to leave, they don't have to tell you why. You just have to leave the property, otherwise they're going to call us. And it's going to get into a whole a whole thing that we don't want to get involved with. Despite the officer's best efforts to show the suspect all their wrongs, the suspect still chooses to double down. So, just in the future, right? If someone tells you to leave the property, you have to leave the property, okay? Does that make sense? Oh, no, officer. Well, you didn't do anything. What did I do? So, at the point when they ask you to leave and you don't leave, that's then trespassing after warning, okay? You're then trespassing. Sorry, I've never been trespassed on. How was I trespassed on? I used to be a student. What What did I do? You were a student in the in the summer, correct? Yeah. Was it just for that semester? Yeah, it's not that I I couldn't It's not that I didn't do anything. I made the dean's list and everything. It's not that. Just that work-wise, I can't do classes for right now. So, I I just >> you work? I work at Father's Table. It's in Sanford. Work at what? It's called Father's Table. It's like a Cheesecake Factory. >> Father's Table? Mhm. It's like Lake Mary Sanford area. So, I work there. Yeah. I work there Monday through Friday. So, when I have my time, and it just it just works. So, I can't I can't do school right now. You live up in Sanford? No, but I live like in the Maitland area. Also, Portal and also my Maitland area. So, I you know, I can't go to school right now. I would like to, but I just can't. So, I said maybe for the the spring, let's see what happens. But right now, I'm out of school. And then when I go to the computer, I ask "Are we allowed?" Even though we're not students anymore, are we allowed? They say yes. That's That's it. As long as we're open. That's it. Okay. He sees me every other Saturday. So, he's been seeing me since like September. So, I don't know what's the problem. I see him in the library sometimes. Talking, you know, talking to me or walking around doing his patrols. What's the problem? What What are you What are you telling me I have to leave? Okay. Like I don't I just don't understand what happened. Cuz somebody said I guess they seen a bag in the bathroom. You seen seen a bag? I'm like "Dude, it's somebody's." Like I don't I don't know. I just don't understand what happened. The officer remains professional, calmly letting the suspect know that her actions today won't be without consequences. I got Well, even like I said earlier, even if someone That's security guy especially, right? If they ask you to leave a property, you have to leave, okay? You can't You can't be like Oh, well, you know, I want to know why I have rights. It's I know it sounds a little weird, but you do have to just leave the property, okay? If you don't, then they're going to [snorts] get upset that you're undermining their authority, and then they're going to call us, and then we're going to come out here, and you know, it becomes a whole thing, right? It's a whole mess, right? Okay. He sees me every other Saturday. I don't understand. You're What You're You're Latoria Hill? Yeah. That's your That's your name? All right, I'm just going to talk to him, straighten out a couple things, and then and then and then we'll go from there, okay? Do you have any questions right now? I need answers. I don't really upset right now. I can't believe I was slammed on the ground like that. For no reason. I'm walking. You have me in handcuffs. What What more to do? You really want to slam me like that? Well, I wasn't here for that, so I can't I can't test that. >> [snorts] >> But, I know I have good faith in my officers that they wouldn't do that just for fun, okay? So, you're saying you support your workers? Of course you're going to defend them. I defend my workers at times the ones I like, so I understand. All right. Well, I'm going to I'm going to iron a few things out, straighten a few things out, okay? And then The case wrapped up with two charges on the suspect, including trespassing after warning and resisting law enforcement without violence. Number three. He told the officers a story they already knew the truth. On September 18th, 2024, a routine traffic stop took a sudden turn when the driver took off and fled to a nearby house. Here's what happened when officers caught up with the suspects just outside the residence. All right. Yep. IDs. Don't have one. Don't have I have 72 stamps on Come to us. What's going on? I've been in my house this whole time, dude. Adam Sand Henry 8055. I've been working all hard all day. Look at my hands. All right, stand against the grill right there. I was in the house. You seen me in the house. Yeah, I saw you run in the house, too. No, you didn't. I got a camera Sure did. That in the camera right around the corner? We got a bunch of cameras on ourselves as well. >> two right there on your car. I know I've seen them. I got asthma. in the car. I can't get my wallet. But, my is there. I drive my >> guy ran inside. I don't know. There's another one? Yep. You don't know who ran inside? It might be old guy. >> We have other squads going to our location. Huh? I said I wasn't riding with them. I told you guys this. This is your house, correct? Yeah, I live here. I don't So, you don't know who's in your house right now? No, I've been in there. I've been here at my house and then I seen you guys Come here. You come over here. with the lights and sirens. 59-25, I'm over by Holiday Inn. Okay. This is how This is how this is going to happen, right? Cuz A, Yeah, we're all good. >> you for a lot of infractions on this. And B, your car is also expired, which means I can tow it and enforce all these infractions. Who else was fled out of that car? >> Literally, I don't. I just brought him with. I just went to the store. That was it. I I don't even know. That's That's the route you want to play? Literally just working on cars. Okay. Who is the other person that ran in? So, it's you, Gavin, and one other guy that you don't know. I've met him. I don't know his Is my That comment that I just made correct? Is it you, Gavin, and one other guy that you don't know? It's a simple question. Is that correct or not? With the situation still tense, the officer isolates the driver and demands answers, particularly about the missing suspect. >> What are you confused about? Cuz you If you're If you're If you're feeding me a lie in this, that's another crime. So, you're telling me that you didn't know who was in your car when you ran when they ran into that house. No, I knew who was in my I don't know who the name of the kid is, but I know that kid. Okay. So, where was Where was he sitting then? Where was Gavin sitting? Why are you thinking about this? I'm confused. I know who's in my car and where they're sitting, right? This is common sense. So, you're digging yourself a bigger hole for standing up for these guys who actually took off in the house. Where was Gavin sitting? In the back. In the back. Who else was in the car? Yes, I I really don't know the dude. He really just comes here and works on cars. Okay. What does he look like? Like short kind of How old? I don't I don't know. Like I said, they just like comes here and works on cars. Does he have one of these cars? No. Well, are you talking about one of these cars here? >> Yes, any of these cars. Are they That other kid's car? No, I think pretty sure he got dropped off cuz None of these cars I don't see any of None of these cars are his, so. This is my brother's. Those are both my brothers and then Who's your brother? Ace. Who's Ace? I refer to him as brother. He He's He's my cousin. Okay. So, that wasn't your brother that took off in the house. >> No, no. So, this is what That was just the kid that comes here and works on stuff. I I don't really know Okay. That So, this This is what's going to happen, right? So, when I when I review my dash cam that had both of these people running in the house, right? It's not going to show your brother, Ace Resendez, running in. Because then we're going to have another issue and you're going to have a felony on your charge. >> No, no. Positive? Positive, absolutely positive. Now under the officer's scrutiny, the man in the black shirt tries to dodge the truth but slips up almost immediately. Well, the third guy who ran inside, you don't know who he is? The third guy? Like I said, I just got here. The third guy who >> I wasn't with. The third guy who ran inside. Do you know who Do you know who he is? Do you know who he is? >> I don't. I'm not in my house. I'm outside of my house. Nobody ran inside. You guys are making this up. Well, we have reasonable suspicion right now that a crime is or has been or is about to be committed. I didn't do nothing. I wasn't driving this car. So, what do you got on me? Right now, I'm concerned that there is someone inside the house who does not want to see us here. And I'm concerned about our safety, and I'm concerned about your safety. >> Well, the only person here that's talking to you is the guy that's driving that car. >> going to do our best to keep everybody safe and figure out what's going on here. All right? Because there's obviously something going on. There's something going on. Are you harboring No. someone in there? I got a dog in the car. I'm worried about >> If there is someone in there, There's nobody in there. I've been around the block. I know I know the I know the gig, right? But, if there's Let me explain something to you. I have roommates. Not one, not two, three. Okay. Let me explain something to you. >> in there, oh well. Let me make it very clear to you, okay? I was here the whole time. If someone in there has a warrant, Nobody has a warrant. That's the funniest I've ever heard. I'm just going to make it I'm just trying to tell you, so that you're You don't have to worry about it, right? If you're harboring somebody and it's found out later, you can be charged with a felony. Okay, I'm not >> Consider yourself advised. All right. All right. I'm not harboring nobody. So, where were you sitting in this vehicle? I wasn't sitting in the vehicle, and I don't answer questions. Your buddy says otherwise. So, you lying about that? You talking about Evan? Yep. He's on He's on probation, and I'm not. So, who you going to believe? You better not be obstructing our law enforcement investigation. >> You know, that's another crime. I wasn't in As details come out, the inconsistencies between the driver's and passenger's statements only deepen the officer's concerns. Who are you going to tell, my man? The guy who's on probation, or the guy who's just working here? Why would I hop in his car when I have my own vehicle? My own truck in the yard. Run the plates. Why would I Why would I ride in this? An expired tab vehicle. I just watched you run out of it. So, I'm not questioning that. >> He's giving you a good opportunity here. He's giving you lots of opportunities need come clean and truthful with us. He's giving you more opportunities than I would have. All right. Where were you sitting in the car? The back seat. Where's Ace now? Ace? Yeah. I don't know where Ace is at. Okay. This is what's going to happen. I'm going to give you one opportunity. Call Ace, get him out here, provide him and you guys know what the deal is. I'll issue citations. Look here. So, this is what This is what I'm saying. As I pull up and I was unknowingly running away from the Listen to my partner. >> two people run after I hit my lights. Yeah. And it's pretty obvious that you knew what you were running from. No. >> Okay? And you're accelerating all the way around the block. You lost >> Not my brother. You got us Correct. Yeah. Okay? So, I'm giving you the opportunity to walk away with citations rather than go to jail. So, give him a call. Dude, I tried to call him. He's not answering. He probably left. He probably hopped on his motorcycle and gone. I'll call him up. Just stand right there. This guy's the worst liar in the world. I'm being I'm being so fed up with you and lying. So, this is your one opportunity and it better be the right answer coming out of your mouth or you're going straight to jail. Okay? Who was in that vehicle? Because I just heard a story from the person who was in the vehicle. Who was it? It was this blonde kid named Caleb. Caleb who? Caleb I think there's anything What did I just tell you? What did I literally just tell you out of my Words out of my mouth. I know you're lying. You're getting yourself in trouble. You can avoid a charge if you just tell me who it is. And then you continue to lie, right? Soon enough, the officers managed to corner the mystery suspect all with the reluctant help of the driver. Who did Who is it? Ace. I'm sorry? Ace something. I don't know who that is. It's his brother and apparently his >> Gavin in the car? Yep. Does he have a felony? Excuse me? I don't know yet. You got his number? Of course you do. Yes. >> Why don't you call him and tell him to come out? I got a Snapchat but I don't got him. Why don't you call Snapchat? You put it on speaker. Well, yeah. Wait, what's up? Where are you? Where are you at? I would just come out now otherwise we're going to have the warrant for you pretty quickly. I mean we already know that you took off. We Your buddy has already gave it up so. You can either come out and get a citation or go to jail. What? You can A either come out and get a citation and stay the night or you get a warrant for your arrest and we'll pick you up on that. I love board games now, dude. Okay, so you're not the person that I just saw and just saw your photo and run into the house here. I I know you're inside. >> Here, you want me to put my dad on the phone? Where do you work? Okay, so I can have my partner go over there and confirm you're at work? >> Yeah. You know, I'll just call the business. Okay. Are you still lying? What do you mean? Is he the one that ran into the house? >> I said it wasn't. You just told him the name. >> I was What was the name you told my partner? It's Caleb, not Ace. It's Caleb what? >> honest, like honest. It's Caleb. Just say his name, quit whispering. Caleb. He's on mute. No, I'm not. Caleb what? >> I mean I was telling you the same name. Caleb McNeal? Wait, it's actually me. So something like that. I don't know. Dude, oh my god. It's I'm pretty sure it's McNeal, yeah. Who is he? That's my That's literally my cousin. Like I I see him as a brother but it's my cousin. It's the one that owns these cars. Even after being caught in multiple lies, both suspects doubled down, but the officers are done playing along. Hey, this is Officer Spear Police Department. Hey, is there a manager working? Are you the manager? Oh. Is Ace over there? Hey, who's this? Who is the owner there? Okay. They own that place. He said it's Caleb. Were you in the car? Yeah. You don't have to think about it. Were you in the car? Just answer the question. You already told me multiple things. >> Holy crap, dude. Do you guys both want to go to jail that soon? Evan, turn around. You're under arrest. Yes, sir. Resisting, obstructing. Lying. And you're going to get some citations. You've been arrested. Yes, sir. Evan, stand up. I 720 10 of custody. Here's your money back. Hey, copy 1423. What? You're under arrest for resisting obstruct. Yeah, something like that. Probable cause and lying. You guys can't come in my house then, all right? We're not going in your house. All right, then. All right, good. Good. Good. I'll bail out and I'll beat this one, too, then. You're going to beat this one for lying to the police? Yeah. You just admitted to lying to us. How are you going to beat that in court? Copy 2 and copy 4. Cuz you guys falsely arrested me for a felony a year and a half ago and I was all the way up there. >> like freebies or something? I mean, you guys didn't give me any days back for the days that I sat already. The 30 38 days, dude, that I sat. Are you going to sit? I'm going to sit. No, cuz I don't commit crimes. Yeah. You guys don't want to hunt each other down. That's why. Substantial amount of money. The case concludes with both individuals facing obstruction charges. Number two. Suspect's desperate move backfires as police pull out the evidence. On October 20th, 2024, a traffic stop turned into a pursuit. And when the patrol officer saw something being thrown from the vehicle, they knew this wasn't just about a speeding violation. Here's how the case played out. Hey, you just threw something right there. Right there, right there, right there. Stop. Show me your hands. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. SHOW ME YOUR HANDS. PUT IT IN PARK. OPEN. UNLOCK IT. Step out. Just you. Just you. What did you throw out? Don't you move. Step right back over there. Put the vehicle in park. Step out. I got it. You didn't throw it far enough. Yeah. Hey, I got it. Yeah, cuz I seen you throw it. Yeah, I threw it. >> Well, you're going to jail anyway. You good? Is that him? That's him. Go clean up. The man makes one last attempt to smooth talk his way out of trouble, but the officers aren't buying any of it. I'm not touching him. Huh? Ford. You ain't working with him. You done lost that opportunity. You shouldn't lean over against the car. You shouldn't throw that out. 140, you can clear it uh 2-10. Huh? I seen that. Yeah? Like a quarter cookie. Hey, you didn't even throw out all of it. It's Xanax. I know, it's still illegal. >> Yeah, but it's prescribed. Yeah, this ain't in a prescription bag. You got a prescription for that, too? Just that little bit of We just got it really good. Okay. >> You about got pitted out. You didn't want to pull over. You about got crashed out. >> I was trying to Oh, yes. Yes, ma'am. You had plenty of places to pull over. All All this is fine. I got you. This is probably the worst part of it. Spread your feet. The suspect is now in custody, but the real surprise comes when officers take a closer look at the vehicle's interior. All right, I'm going to put you in my vehicle. If you have anything else on you or in you and you go to jail, Checking this little pocket right there. you're going to be in more trouble. You know what I'm saying? >> No, I'm not. All right. I did that before. Did you? All right, well I'm just letting you know you're going to get charged with it if that's what happens. All right. I don't want to go >> Walk back here. Huh? My money. We'll take care of it. Give me just a minute. Let me do what I got to do and we'll we'll figure it out. All right? Okay. She used to give me a ride. That's all. I hear you. Where you stay at? Melrose Apartments, sir. What's your name? I thought you looked familiar. Yeah. Yeah. I ain't seen you in a long time. The other day. What's your middle name? Eddie. Date of birth? 10 8 All right. Like I said, if you take anything into the jail, Yeah, man. All right. Set up in the front of me. With incriminating evidence already piling up, the officers move in on the driver to see what else this investigation might reveal. You You said you hadn't searched her. No. I will I'll do it while I While you While you watch. You don't have nothing? Nothing. Turn around this way. I'm going to turn your pockets inside out. >> It's fine. Turn that way. I'll put her in mine. Yeah, I'm going to grab them. Just have a seat for a minute. Chad said he worthless and he ain't never done nothing for him. So, what's his name? Okay. What did you pick up that he threw? Okay, it was white. >> Yeah. Back with the suspect, the officers hear a surprising confession. The man not only talks about what he was carrying, but also hints at who gave it to him. There there's There's There there's I'm robbed, dude. Right. Huh? No, it's not. Okay. I turned it off. Yeah. Um 3 days ago and I told him about this guy where Yeah. He said, "Yeah, I'll call you back Monday." I called I called him on a Friday or Saturday. He said, "I'll call you back Monday." He hadn't called him back. He hadn't called him. I just talked to Chad. He said you ain't never done nothing for him. I I don't know. No, I haven't really. But uh Did you used to buy everything from him? Uh What did you do What did you buy over there? Just He's got He's got everything. All right. What Did you go in the house? Yeah. Okay. Where does he serve yet? In his bedroom? I go I go by go. I want to What all did you buy today? Um Okay. How much um How much 400. Okay. Um Does any of that belong to her? Nothing. She was driving. Okay. Would you have her drive a little bit further so you can try and get rid of that Yeah. That's my wife. So I'm telling you I got you. All right. That was my bond. They don't let us do the bonds no more at the jails. The jail's in charge of the bond. Depends on your prior history and stuff like that. I understand. I know you do. Give me a minute. Let me Hey. Hey. Jail don't want to fool with me. He may at the jail, but he he said you got to go to jail right now. So he may be able to help you out with your charges, but that's something you have to get on the box and holler at him. I'll let him know you're in there and you want to talk to him. All right. I can tell him. Yeah. I'll tell him. Give me just a minute, okay? Just before wrapping up the scene, the officers check in with the driver one last time, but her response raises even more red flags. Do you understand the rights I just read you? Yes. All right. Have you asked either one of my partners to speak to attorney at this point? I don't think so. All right. I'd like to do that. I mean, if I have to I mean, if I'm I'm like what am I getting into? So you're not going to You're not You don't wish to answer any questions? I mean, I don't I'm You know, I don't want to go to jail. I got a little girl I need to be home with and I >> Well, you should have been should be home with your little girl instead of going to I didn't know that was illegal, sir. Oh, come on. I swear I don't I don't never go to So so you you don't want to answer any questions? I mean, I'll answer your questions. It's It's a simple yes or no. I'm not going to coerce you into doing anything. You either want to answer my questions, and it's a yes, or you don't want to, and it's a no. Whatever get me home to do my babysitting. Yes or no? I don't mind. I mean, I don't know whose house that was. >> Yes or no? It's a simple yes or no. It's a simple yes or no. All right. You're You're talking a lot, and there's a lot of noise out here, so is it yes or no? >> I said yes, and I'll Yes. Okay. All right. So She tries to justify what happened, unaware that her own words are only making her situation worse. She's telling you as soon as my lights come on. He didn't know that the lights came on, I don't think. And I told him I said, "They're pulling me over." And once you once you made that apparent >> He said, "They're right now they're He said, "I'm going to throw something." What the Something about that you said the lights must have known they're behind us. Getting pulled over right now. Cuz I didn't know he had drugs on him. I didn't know he And I was seriously trying to find I thought we was supposed to pull over at the first place we got at. And I was had a room to turn on here, and I was pulling off the main road. I wasn't running, I promise. I just didn't want to stop in the middle of the highway. I didn't know if I was supposed So you you you did not know he had drugs on him. And there was a big bag >> he had just pulled that out when the lights I mean, I just all of a sudden I didn't even know what he was doing then. I didn't see the bag until we stopped. I'm trying to get on the side of the road. That's all I was supposed to do that. So So he didn't tell you to keep driving or nothing like that? No, sir. You sure? I'm pretty sure, yeah. Cuz that's what he's telling us, that he told you to keep driving while he threw that out and tried to destroy it. [music] >> I I didn't know that. I mean, I just promised you I was trying to get out to the food over there. I just thought whenever I got in the turning that turning lane I thought that was it where I could turn left to onto the highway. All right. She said he didn't tell her nothing. She didn't know he had She She didn't know nothing. She's a liar. Oh, yes she is. In the end, the suspects were charged with possession of illegal substances. Number one.
