when you try too hard not to look suspicious it usually has the opposite effect these suspects learn that the hard way here are five instances when officers knew the suspect was lying number five murder suspect thinks playing innocent will get her out of arrest in Florida officers were dispatched after identifying a vehicle that had been linked to a stabbing incident the previous week watch though the female driver hands over her license without issue the officers moved to check her name in the system and review surveillance footage from the incident there's two cars registered to her we think it's her and Dad so obviously it's the car they use but then there's a red car they're in all the time too which is over there and it comes back to dad looks like dad lives in South Florida okay so whoever her boyfriend is is probably going to be the suspect that makes sense so do they pass up because they're like not wanting to get like their vehicle scene do they are they yeah they not everybody's going to Bunch up here so they see our cars and all that so that's why I kind of parked over there okay and then yeah as soon as our other guys come up here we'll make contact we they're just going to do initial interview with her okay and see how cuz other than the car we don't have anything the victim's still off up we came and interviewed him till like next week I heard he like had of the situation and even her father appears resigned to what's happening however watch what happens when the officers try to question the suspect's father going to talk to her like an adult but I night or that day it was he almost died the guy that got stabbed he's still in the hospital this this country don't give about people your cous you have anything on you I need to know about we were trying to do it peacefully and talk to me which I appreciate cuz you could have just took it from the beginning she would well she would have been leaving to 100% should have been leaving to 3 days after the arrest the 18-year-old victim of the stabbing succumbed to his injuries in the hospital the woman identified as 21-year-old Nicole was subsequently charged with first-degree murder along with her boyfriend 24-year-old Chad who was later located and identified number four K9 exposes woman's lies this is how a routine traffic stop turned into a major arrest an officer pulled over a vehicle for having a single working tail light although the situation began calmly the officers quickly observed something unusual about the man and woman inside the car hey I'm definitely young the partner the responding officer informs him of the suspect's unusual behavior and the man's outstanding warrant leading to his detainment however the situation doesn't end there calm down calm down sir going to be going bad got all the coloring books I tell my girlfriend all the time she works for the jail yeah and sometimes she had the adpe color books herself I'm like like you you got some real Controlled Substances number three man tries to swallow evidence in a desperate move to avoid arrest coming up officers in Pampano Beach conducted a traffic stop on a silver Audi S6 after observing it swerving and failing to stay in its Lane suspecting the driver of impairment the events that follow during the traffic stop stop however are completely unexpected on 6072 H Mr V is that right vrine yeah hi my name is Deputy poic work for the brard Sheriff's Office specifically the Dy task force talked to Deputy Rubenstein said that he uh believes that you may be impaired he gave me some signs of impairment about you I know you don't live too far from here but I want we want to make sure that uh we feel comfortable with you operating your motor vehicle so you can get home safe today okay would you mind talking to me out in front of my car well before you say that I have a gun on me okay your zipper's also down well don't don't take the gun all right you mind if I it's in a holster do you do you have a concealed weapons permit I do okay that should have been given to the deputy um you know it should have been with your driver's license was it with your driver's license it wasn't it was just an additional misdemeanor charge um I can ask him if he's going to still provide a breath sample we can still do that with the suspect secured all that's left is for the officers to secure all and possession of a weapon in the commission of a felony number two couple tries to lie their way out of arrest fails miserably a female officer noticed a gray sedan with a mismatched tag that came back registered as a conver able she promptly initiated a traffic stop listen closely to how the suspect responds to her questions how you doing hey how you doing I'm all right you don't got your seat belt on I just took it out actually H everybody says that and um your tag doesn't come back to this car it does it no this is actually a borrow car it's my mother-in-law's car okay it's my mom's car coming back with anything but she opened that which vehicle that um console real quick and then there's a whole bunch of plastic bags in there and she put a napkin over to all right um do yall have anything in this car that I need to be aware of Me no do you mind if I search the vehicle um I can't take me to search something it don't belong us well you're in possession of the vehicle right now so it don't belong to us so do you give me consent to search your vehicle I can't give you consent to something that don't belong to us you are in possession of this vehicle right now I I hear what search your pockets go ahead huh go ahead goad and put your hands on the car you don't have anything on you it's going to hurt me I have medications in my purse in my prescription bottle yeah there's put your hands put your hands on I was getting my vape out of my I don't care I'm going to that's my last time I'm going to tell you okay okay yes ma'am thank you easy as that so what were you saying was in your purse my medications okay are they in a pill bottle yes they're in their prescription bottle okay so why are you telling me about them just say you know way okay I put nothing in my pocket of the car the woman admits to having a bottle of prescription medication in her purse but it won't be the only illicit item the officers discover in the vehicle where did you say she was talking Stu look like she reaching in the front of her gra something out of her purse out of that right there when she when I told her to open the glove box um for the registration cuz she's like oh it's digital I said no there there's no digital she um she opened this and then covered baggies with a napkin [Music] so that's what I saw her grab out of the first one when she was tucking towards the front of her pants yeah you want me to test it for you fresh too I mean if you can get it out there yeah I mean enough to test enough to charge yeah oh sorry she's in cuffs she also attempt to resistant charge big I did get a prescription to but it's been a while ago I stepped myself down trying to quit i d still have a few left but but the job that I do when I carry my pocket label yeah not like they were jail a possession and and also possession of a firearm in commission of a felony a felony yeah he had a on him without prescription both suspects were taken to the station without any further incident the woman was later charged with possession of a controlled substance in paraphernalia and resisting an officer without violence she has a total cash Bond of $8,000 meanwhile the man was charged with customer had to open a new account so the account that she has the last four numbers of the account that she has which already have been closed and her new account was open okay so she don't know that
