Officers have seen a lot and they knew these guys were lying before they could even finish their sentences. Here are five cases when officers knew the suspect was lying. Number five, woman thought fleeing the scene would cancel the charges until police knocked on her door. In our first case, what started as a routine traffic stop took a turn when the driver fled the scene instead of pulling over. This led officers to an apartment complex in search of the alleged getaway driver. Here's what happened when they confronted the suspect. >> Hello. Do you want us to come inside or you want to come outside or All right. So, it's just been the two of you guys inside today. Okay. So, who all has access to your vehicle? >> Me. I have two spare keys. >> Okay. How did the other one go missing? >> I don't know. So, who else who else might have had access to your vehicle? >> I don't know. >> Cuz if you're telling me you're the only one that has >> at this point, >> that's not really how spare keys work, right? Like you keep them in a cabinet in your kitchen or something like So, you just >> So, how did somebody else get a hold of your spare key? >> I don't know. It got lost. >> Okay. Cuz I'm going to have to tow your car for fleeing and looting if I can't figure out who was driving it tonight because I tried pulling that vehicle over and it did not stop. >> You sure? >> Yeah, I'm absolutely sure. pulled the lights behind everything. >> Yep. And it pulled into a driveway, backed back out, and started going the other way. So, if you can't tell me who is driving, I'm going to have to tell your car. >> I don't know. But did they know you was pulling them over? >> Yes. >> You sure? >> There was no way they didn't. >> I don't know. >> Is there anybody else in my apartment? >> No. >> Work? >> It's just kids. >> Do you care if we check? >> I do care cuz you're going to wake my kids up. >> Okay. Who else lives here with you? >> I stay with my brother. >> Where at? >> What do you mean? >> Where do you stay at with your brother? >> I stay here with my brother. >> Okay. What's your brother's name? >> I know it sounds like a question, but you understand from our perspective. This vehicle >> I drive That's my my car get drove. I drive my own car. Yes, I do. >> Did you drive it tonight? >> I drove it today. Yes, I did. >> Were you driving it an hour ago? >> I drove it. Yeah. Whatever. I don't know. >> You were driving it an hour ago? >> I drove my car. I drive my car. Were you driving your car an hour ago? >> You don't need to be cryptic. You're just asking. >> I'm just I'm just asking your question. >> So, where where were you last night with your >> I have got drove today by me. Yes. >> Okay. And when did you park it over there? >> When I came back. >> What time was that? >> Officers know it's easy to give a simple rundown of your day when you've got nothing to hide. But rather than tell the truth, the woman starts weaving a story that doesn't add up. >> I really don't know what exactly. >> Give me a guess. Was it 10 hours? Was it an hour? Or was it 20 minutes? >> No. 10 hours. No 20 minutes. No, I can't give you none of that. >> You can't tell us it is. >> You It's not that you can't. It's that you don't want to. >> I don't know. >> You do know. You know. >> I don't know. I'm naked. You just woke me up out of my sleep. You think I'm knowing anything right now? >> You just said you you confirmed that you drove in the vehicle today. >> That's what I'm telling you. I'm naked in my bed. You think I'm thinking about what time I made it home? >> I'm just asking for a rough estimate. >> And I'm telling you right now, a r estimate. I really don't know. >> So, what what' you guys do today? >> Why do that matter to you? What I did? >> We have to understand the timeline to know if it was you driving or somebody else driving. So, that's what we're trying to clarify. But, you want to be very cryptic with the the final time of that. >> You understand what I'm saying? >> I don't know the exact time. That's all I can give y'all right now. >> So, that's why we're asking what you guys need tonight. >> That's all I can give y'all right now. What else do y'all need? Y'all need anything else? >> Yeah, I do. What's your first name? >> You just said my name and I told you. >> Spell it for me. >> Obviously, you know it if you just told me my whole name and I told you. >> Go ahead and just spell it for me, please. >> I don't know why you're giving me such a hard time. >> Because you just told me my name. You literally just gave me my whole name. So, you throw it in. You know how to spell it. Am I right or wrong? >> Okay. So, were you driving your car an hour ago? >> You want to spell my name? >> Yeah, please. If I'm not able to figure out, if you're not able to help me figure out or do anything as far as someone taking your car, um, I'm going to have to tow it. So, if you want to help me out, that'd be great. If not, it's going to be expensive. It's going to be a pain in the butt. >> I got a spare key. I don't know. >> Okay. Well, help me figure out how that spare key might have gone missing. >> I was outside partying. >> How anything go missing if you were outside partying? >> Where were you at? >> What do you mean? >> Where were you at partying? Where your key went missing? >> It doesn't matter. >> It does matter. These all these things matter. or else I wouldn't be asking. >> Once again, officers ask a straightforward question, but this time the suspect knows that one of the officers recognizes her and already knows the vehicle is tied to her name. At this point, she can either come clean or keep dodging the truth. >> I mean, were you driving the car? Did you flee from me earlier? And just be honest. I don't know why you're making things so difficult. >> I don't remember if you pulled me over or not. I don't see I don't remember putting no blue lights behind me or anything. So, I don't know what you're talking about. >> Okay. Well, tell me how long ago you were driving. >> If you put lights behind me, I don't know if you did or not. >> Okay. Well, and and we can figure that out, right? And we can go to court and we can tell the judge. If you didn't know the lights were behind you, you didn't know the lights were behind you, right? But if you were just driving, if you were the last person to drive your vehicle tonight, is that the case? >> Okay. >> I'm asking. >> I'm Yeah, I was the last person who drove my car today. >> Today? Okay. And you got home within the last 45 minutes roughly? >> I really don't know. >> Okay. Was it light outside when you got home or was it dark outside? Any person no matter how >> make it home regardless it get late. I don't even know what time it get dark. Get dark early now. So I really don't know. >> You don't know if it was dark outside. >> It was dark outside when I made but I don't know what time I made it. >> Yeah, but it was dark outside. >> It was dark outside. >> Okay. Can I ask what's your relationship to a person? >> That's your sister. Do you live here? >> Okay. So, where do you stay at? >> I'm not I'm not trying to pry too much information. >> No, I'm not. >> So, what brought you here? Do you have a vehicle? Your sister brought you here? >> I got a Uber. >> Oh, you got Uber. Do you mind showing me your Uber? Just so we can clarify that you weren't in the vehicle. >> Cuz you're When did you get here? I got here at like 11 >> 11 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. >> 11 p.m. >> So, is there any chance that anyone else might have drove your vehicle today besides you? >> There's absolutely zero possibility anyone else was in the driver's seat of that vehicle tonight. They used the spare key. That's all I say. Unless they used that spare key. >> So, if if let me just get this straight. So, if I would have tried to pull a traffic stop on that vehicle and it didn't stop, >> couldn't unless they use the spare key. >> According to her, she lost the spare key and someone else must have been driving the vehicle during the traffic stop. Unfortunately, to the officers, it's a stretch that's hard to believe. >> Okay. And then let's go back to the spare key. Okay. Thank you. >> You said you lost it at a party. Where were you partying at that you had both your keys on you? >> I don't remember. You don't remember? >> No. >> But you remember losing your spare key. >> Yes. >> I don't feel like you're being very truthful for me. >> Okay. That's your That's your version, right? But this is my I am. So, >> okay. >> Both feel different. >> Okay. Do me a favor. Just hang out with Officer Vasquez. I will be right back. >> You don't remember where was the last time you came from? I'm not even worried about the time now. Just what where did you come from? >> I came from the west side. I did. Okay. >> You did come from the west side. >> She made a comment about that if the lights did turn on her, she didn't know. I told him that very dark tent, so she wouldn't have seen the the lights. >> I told him the same thing. So, >> okay. So, >> behind. >> Did one So, did at one point though, you were driving on Lynon and Emerson. Do you know where that's at? >> I go No, >> I go that way. >> Yeah. So at one point did you go on to Lyndon pull into a driveway back out and then >> I've been all around today in Bloomington. >> He just I have I have >> all the way around Bloomington. >> But were you on Did you pull into a driveway, pull out and then pull back? >> On your way home here? >> On your way home? >> I know people but um >> I know. But did you pull into a driveway at any point tonight >> and then back out and then start headed back the other direction? Maybe you make a wrong turn or something. >> I pulled in every driveways. I pulled anywhere. I'm just saying like >> that doesn't make any sense. >> Yes. >> You pulled in every driveway? >> I did. Yeah. >> I was everywhere today, y'all. I told y'all. >> The woman continues to play innocent, now insisting she had no idea she was ever pulled over. But by now, officers have heard enough. >> Um, so here's what's going to happen, John Misha. Um, so based off everything you just told me, okay, um, we are absolutely 100% non-negotiable. We are going to jail tonight. You are going to jail. Okay. So, I'm going to give you the opportunity to go inside and put some clothes on. I'm going to have to come with you, but I'm not going to take you to jail like that. Um, unless you make it a big deal and then we can, but I would much rather not. >> Why would I have you going to jail? >> Because you fled from me on a traffic stop. And I'm going to tell you this right now. If you want to argue in court that you didn't see my lights and you had no clue, that's absolutely fine. You have every right to do that. But tonight, we are going to jail. Okay. >> I guess. >> Okay. So, like I said, we're going to have to come inside with you. Um, got to go inside >> because she is not she's not going to go inside by herself right now. I'm not going to watch her get changed, but I'm not going to let her go inside and lock the door. >> I'm not going to go in there and lock the door. >> Okay. Well, that's >> we just have to do >> we'll come back out the door though. >> Okay. No, I'm not giving you the option. Either we can go to jail like this or you can let us come inside and I will let you get changed because I'm trying to be nice. These are your options. >> Can you bring her a pair of pants or something? >> Or you could bring her a pair of pants and a shirt out here. >> All right. You can put shoes on. So, so This one's a little too loose. >> It's a little too loose. >> Well, yeah. If it's too loose, it'll start twisting on your wrist and then that's going to hurt you. >> In the end, the woman was charged with fleeing and eluding a police officer. Number four. Scammer learns fast that Verizon doesn't play around. This next case takes us to a Verizon store where officers are called in to investigate a potential fraud. Watch what happens when the authorities confront the woman behind it. >> So, okay. >> Hi. How are you, ma'am? >> Hello. >> Hey, I'm officer FM BP. I've got a body cam on. We got called out here for like a problem with your account or something like that. Are are you Is it your account that you're trying to open up a phone under? Are you trying to open up on something? >> No, I already have an account. >> Okay. >> But why am I getting called on? So, it's something to do with the the phone being under somebody else's account that you're opening up and it's like a 20-year-old account. Do you have your ID on you? >> No. What are they talking about? >> So, who whose whose name is the account under? >> Mine. >> It's under your name. >> Yes. And this is my phone that the code got set up. I'm not >> They just activated him. She said, "Put them on speaker." He put them on speaker. I told them I'll come back tomorrow cuz they're going to close. >> Okay. >> That's my only problem. This is my phone. I didn't call in or anything. They said allow. I clicked allow. I've been had the service for a long time. Okay. Same phone number and everything. >> Yes. >> Okay. How long have you had Verizon as your carrier? >> Like two years. >> Two years. Okay. Do you have your ID on you? >> Yes. It's in Let me get it out the car. >> All right. You're good. You don't have to go out there. I'll just take your name first. >> Who's uh in the car? >> My friend. >> Your friend. Okay. So, the account is all under your name and everything like that. Okay. What's your last name? 104. What's his name? >> Um I don't know. He's my I just met him. He's an old friend. >> Okay. Look, I just came into town for New Year's. I've been here since New Year's. I'm going to go home cuz I'm just had to get I was getting my >> Okay. Where's your ID out of there? >> In the car. >> Where at? >> Um, probably a cup holder. Cup holder. >> She has to check the cup holder. >> My stomach. >> You have a picture of your ID? >> No. Oh, let me look. >> Do you have anything on your account that helps? cuz I'm not getting anything back for that name. Okay, >> I'm'll be honest with you. You don't look like you were born in ' 89. >> I mean, I'm happy everybody said it, but >> Oh, I don't understand. >> According to store employees, the suspect attempted to use stolen account details to buy a phone. The red flag, the account was 20 years old and originally belonged to an elderly woman. >> Didn't you did you give them ID? No, I gave him my phone number and he sent the code to my phone. I literally didn't even make it far. Okay. I just made it to right now and then I got on the phone with the credit line. She has a hold on my account. So, she sent a code to my phone. She sent the code. I allowed it. >> Then that was it. >> Okay. You keep looking for like something with your name on it. >> Mhm. >> And then is that an old phone that you have there? >> Um, this is like my hairline. This like my regular phone. >> Okay. Do you have like anything on either one of those? >> And you're being truthful about your name? Yes. >> Okay. What's your social? >> What's up with my social? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Cuz I'm not getting a return on your name. >> Um >> so I need my social. >> Yeah. I'm not going to do anything with it, but I'm going to try to confirm your identity. >> How long have you lived at? >> Um like two years. >> Two years. Mhm. >> Okay. Does anybody live there with you? >> I live with someone. >> Who Who do you live with? >> Um my sister's sister. So >> what's her name? Um, what's her last name? >> Without looking at your phone. Um, >> you want to know the person's last name you live with? >> This is my sister. Sister. So, you want my sister name? I can give you my >> What's your sister's name? >> What's your sister's name? >> I just told you my sister name. >> You don't have anything in your in your purse with your ID on it? >> No. My mom was going to send me nothing something. Now, >> do you have like a credit card or a debit card? >> No. >> You don't have any credit card or debit card? >> No. I left my actual I left my cuz this purse is so small. I have like a little wallet. Well, the wallet is kind of big and it's crazy. I literally left my wallet at home. I'm like my wallet on me. >> So, how did you open the phone line? >> Cuz I already had service. So, they sent the code to my phone. That's what I'm saying. This is this was my issue. Like literally when he sent the code it said allow or deny, I allowed access to my account. >> Okay. >> So, my account was fully into he just told me how many lines I have. He just told me it's a lot of Androids. I have said yeah, my family love Androids. I don't know why. Yeah, >> it's already suspicious that the woman has no ID, credit card, or debit card on her, especially when she's here to make a purchase. But the biggest red flag, the name she provided doesn't trace back to anyone. >> You don't know this guy? >> Yeah, he's my friend. >> What's his name? >> Who does that? >> What was that guy's first name in the truck? All right, so the only problem that I have is none of the story kind of makes sense as what's going on. Okay, cuz he's providing a totally different name. Right. I was trying to say I heard like I just went home so we could go to So we >> And then you're like having to bring you to the store and stuff. >> Yeah, cuz I lost my car. Like my car is down. >> So I got to get around. It's cold outside. Uber is so I asked him to keep driving me around. >> All right. You >> good? I'm okay. Just hang out with her for one sec. I'll be right back. Did you you heard that she gave a fake name obviously cuz then they're added up. So he's got her real name. Um, I'm going have to talk with staff and see if there's like any money or anything like that's associated with this one female that >> like a theft you thinking? >> Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I don't even know what it would be other than like a fraud type deal, but I need to figure out if there's like been any money. >> So So they were So they were at Apple here and Woodfield and then Deer Park like hours apart today. 350. What names are on the receipts? >> It It doesn't say. It's just like they bought they The price here is the same thing that they're trying to do here. >> They're trying to get phones. >> Yeah. And then they sell them. >> But I'm not so sure that this vehicle like doesn't have fake on it. >> Did you check the VIN? >> No, not yet. So, he's saying that the vehicle comes back to his mom. But >> to get the full picture, officers consult the store employees again, determined to figure out the woman's true intentions. >> All I really have right now is like attempted theft, I think, in obstructing her knee or obstructing what um for him. I don't have any. >> Yeah. >> She was in here saying she was That's the person that actually has an account, but she's like 89. >> Mhm. Oh my gosh. How do you know Donna? >> She just said it was She told me it was a fake name. She just made it up. >> No. You can see the address that she >> This guy said that people like that do these things can get the account holders information online and they come into the store to try to open a lo and their name and finance a phone and then they'll have an $1,100 phone that's financed to So basically they just come in to get the phone to sell the phone. >> Cool. >> What was your first name? >> What is it? >> Camela. >> Camela. Okay. You're under arrest. Go and pop it for me. >> I'm under arrest for >> attempted theft over. >> And learn about your name. >> And learn about your name. >> Just put your phone down here for me. >> Take your purse off. >> All right. Pipe your hand behind your back. So, my assumption is that there's more stuff down up north. Okay. >> Yeah. Where are the other receipts are out of? So, if that's the case, I'm sure that they're going to have cases on you as well. >> If there's other accounts and stuff that you >> Okay. >> Is this your phone, too? >> Okay. >> Wow. Look like about >> and you can't explain to me what you're doing and why you're doing it. So, I'm just going to assume like worst case scenario. >> The officers let her know they're not buying the story, but instead of backing down, the woman doubles down on her lie. The phone that you said is yours. This one, this 15, and this 10 that was in your back pocket you said is yours, which was purchased today at Apple in Chicago. Right. So, you see like how none of this makes sense. It makes sense, but we're not getting the full story, right? >> What's your first name again? >> Camila. >> What's your He wants your mom's number. Do you want him to have your house keys? >> Yeah. >> Okay. What's your relationship with him? >> My friend. >> No, for real. You can't stand it. Yeah. >> You guys live together? >> No. >> All right. Your friend you don't know the last name of? >> No, we don't. >> Man, you're a bad liar. >> So, whose phone is this? Is this your phone? >> He just run into >> Hey, will you ask him if this is his phone? >> You want to work or talk? >> No. >> Do you want to talk to the detective? >> Talk to the detective. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> About this >> a lawyer? >> No. Detective. Y'all got to help. >> You want to try to help yourself out at all? >> So, basically what we're going to do is we where we're at, I think you have committed identity theft. theft, fraud, possibly forgery, and then whatever happened here today. >> So, if we talk to a detective, we can explain things. And within this phone, she's saying this is her phone. >> Possession of fraudulent ID is, huh? >> Yeah. >> Now, the officers take a closer look at the cards in her possession, and what they find only confirms what they've suspected all along. Where are you actually from? >> Chicago, Illinois. >> Chicago. You never live down here? >> No, I'll be back from them. >> All right. >> So, you talk, right? >> Mhm. >> If you call the number on the back of this debit card, it goes to a shoe manufacturer. >> So, it's fake. >> Yeah. So, I wanted to swipe that cuz if it comes up with numbers, then it's a fake card, too. Like, you can load those cards. Well, you can load debit card numbers on those, but I need a card reader. >> I'm certain that I think the other one is that task force. >> All right. Um, >> that is this phone. >> Did you just get the serial numbers off of them? >> Yep. >> Okay. This is >> This is this phone. >> Have you tried to make any calls on these like people? >> Yeah. I'm waiting on Kathy to call me back >> on this phone. Yeah. >> Is that the owner of this phone? >> Yeah. >> Or this line? >> This line? Because no one on this is not her phone. >> Yeah. >> So, was he not able to tell us anything about this? >> No. He says once it goes to like an Apple store, it's just pretty much wide open for anybody. >> All right. Yeah. Let's go to C. I think that's the best bet. And then since you I've been working on the phone, I can transport her there. Do you want to call the letter? You want me to? Where do you want to? >> I just fig we're going to PD. I'll just talk to him there. >> Okay. Watch your step. Go to the squad car right here. >> Ultimately, the woman faced multiple charges, including forgery, using a fake ID, obstructing identification, and attempting to commit felony theft. Number three, the crash was bad, but her cover story was worse. On March 13th, 2025, officers responded to a reported hit and run on the highway. What follows is their encounter with a victim. >> Northbound getting on the exit of 590 coming up to the light. He's in the left lane. He turns right in front of me. I go up on the curb missing. Well, he boers my left front a little bit. Got paint. Blue paint right here. >> Left front. Yeah, right here. >> All blue paint. That's blue paint. It's a scuff mark. >> I went up on a curb or when it crashes. It actually pushed us in a little bit farther than it's supposed to. It's a work truck. I ain't too worried about it. But it cracked my window cuz my lumber went flying into the window. Got guys waiting on me on the job site and they're like, "Where you at?" And I said, "Had a guy." >> All right. So, it was on the Carnage Road coming up to >> Yeah, we're uh 590 back here. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Come from Home Depot. Yep. >> You know, got on um that exit. >> There's Auto Parts there. Just Advanced Auto Parts. So was right there and he turned into the gas station. >> He turned into the gas station on the corner. >> Right. Had I not seen him, he would have he would have crushed me cuz he was he was back here. So I hammered hammered the brakes and hit the wheel went up on the curb and he got >> All right. So he got off for the 590. >> He was behind you or on the side of you. Trying to think. Is that two lanes? >> There's two lanes there. Yeah. >> And then he decided he wanted to pull into the garage. >> He got like this. I was actually here when he fed in and I hammered the brakes and went back up on the curb. So he goes like that. My lumber goes flying the window. He goes to the left around the gas station, gets back on the road, waits for track, cuts out to the right, goes down two streets, which is David Rita Williams, my buddies. Goes down there, goes around the block, comes back out to 590, goes back to 19, heads northbound, gets off on countryside, does a U-turn, coming all the way back. I mean, he was just stopped there half the time. I'm looking right at the guy. >> Let me uh >> So I don't know, man. And I know it was it's one of his word against mine. >> According to the driver, he began chasing the other vehicle because it sped up instead of stopping after the collision. Unfortunately, the other driver refused to stop until the very end. >> I don't know. I'd like to see the other guy's car. They called in as well. They're wondering why they were being chased by a a truck. >> Yeah, cuz they cut me off. They didn't get my They're They're claiming they never hit. But that's why I want to see another truck. All right. So, let me uh let me do some uh digging. get the telephone number they are there at party. See where they're where they live and where they're at. Yeah, it's craziness. Yeah, people are idiots this these days. So, let me uh let me do a little digging on that and uh we'll go from there and and uh >> the search doesn't take long. In just under an hour, the officer is at the woman's doorstep, ready to confront her with what he learned. >> He's saying he was here and you did an old cut in front of him. >> Well, I came out I came out of Advanced Auto Part. um what uh whatchamacallit and then I came back into the gas station. So I was literally making like a U-turn into the gas station and he was in the far >> lane right here and the light was red. So >> see >> I see that's that's crazy nonsense. All right. So >> he's saying this side of the car is what struck his car. I don't see where this side of the car >> I hit his car. That's what he's saying. >> I was behind He was behind me, >> man. >> No, man. Let me get his insurance information. That's crazy. Cuz I even went to go talk to him and it's on camera. >> Yeah. So, it's on whose camera? >> It's on the camera up there. I just went to go talk to him. I know the people up there at the gas station. >> At the gas station. All right. So, he he's like, "Well, one doesn't >> there's no damage on this side of your car." He's saying that you >> No, he definitely hit me. I just talked to him. >> And it's on camera. >> Okay. So, >> it's on camera. So, cuz he did say you did pull into the gas station and he bounced out the other side and then he was like, "What?" And then >> Well, because he was still following me. I thought he was going to stop. You know what I'm saying? And then he and then he was coming and I was like, >> "I don't know what's going on." You know what I'm saying? I got my baby in the car. So, I >> So, you're saying where? >> I'm not sure. He I just talked to him at the um gas station. He was like, "Yeah, he did hit you." So, I'm not really sure where. >> All right, let me run let me run up there and take a look at that video and see what the video >> Denying responsibility, the suspect claims it was the other driver who caused the crash. On top of that, she also tells the officers about the surveillance footage at a nearby gas station that captured the incident. With that, the officer is on the move to review the said footage and then we'll go from there. Get this on video. All right. So tell me she came and reviewed the video with you. >> No, she didn't. It was just me. >> Oh, okay. >> Yes. So I was just telling her like >> Okay. All right. But but >> how do you know she went into the other lane? >> I mean like she's on the camera now. I looked at the video. >> Uh-huh. It's not It's not benefiting you. >> Why not? He hit me from behind if he hit me. >> Ma'am, you're in the other lane. You crossed in front of him. Okay. So, you can't do that. >> Uhhuh. >> All right. So, what I need is your license and insurance to the vehicle. >> From for him hitting me from behind. >> I need your information. Now, you left the scene of a crash. We're not going to go down this leaving the scene of crash. >> Are you being serious right now? >> Being serious. >> Okay. Give me a second. Thank you. Uhhuh. >> Yeah. >> Give him my the insurance information. >> Um because he's saying that Oh, he if if anything he hit me from behind, right? >> So, why should I give him my insurance information? >> Ma'am, it's a crash. I need all everybody's information. It's being documented. >> Yeah, but that's not what you said when you first left here. Listen. Despite her protest, the officer has already seen the security footage. At this point, her denial isn't helping her case. He wants the report. I watched the video. You want to report as well cuz you thought he's at fault. Unfortunately, >> because he is at fault. >> You want to see the video? >> Yeah, I do want to see. >> I got a supervisor come too. They can explain that to you as well. But if you want, you didn't stop and you admitted >> I came from out of there to come into there. >> I'm trying to make this simple. Let's not make this difficult. trying to make it simple because now you're trying to make it like it was my fault when it hit me. It is your fault. Tell your mom come home. She can look at the video. It is your fault. >> Unfortunately, it is your fault. You can't leave one lane and cut in front of somebody, man. >> Behind you, it's not your fault. >> No, no. When you cut in front of somebody, you want to see the video? >> I do want to see. >> Okay, I'm bringing it up for you. Come here. Watch. Watch. If your mom comes home, if your mom comes home, she can watch it and she'll be like, "Oh my god." You pull out. You cross over into the other far lane. He comes up along the side of you. You cut in front of him. >> He's in the back of me. I didn't even hit him. What are you talking about? >> You left the lane. >> Where Where's the crash at? >> Ma'am, you left. >> Where's the crash at? >> I'm going to show you. >> Where Where did it get hit at? >> Where did he get hit at? >> You'll see. He's got damage on the front of his car. >> No, he >> I told you that damage here matches up with the damage. >> Look at this. Look at the video. Look. Look. Look. He would have hit me from the back, bro. Are you serious? >> Are you serious? >> Mom, listen. >> Tell her to come home. >> Talk to this man because I'm not doing it. >> All right. >> You're going to end up going to jail. >> Yep. Tell your mama to come home. You're going to go to jail. Tell Tell your mom to come home. >> I'm going to start looking at it like leaving the scene of a crash. And then it's >> okay relax. >> I don't know what I've been through. >> I understand. >> Do this to me. >> I'm trying to make it simple for you, ma'am. >> I'm trying to make it simple for you. >> I'm trying to make it easy for you. >> The officer confronts the driver once again, urging her to take responsibility. But instead of cooperating, the woman's behavior quickly begins to spiral. >> Yeah. >> Trying to make it easy. Ma'am, >> you're the one making it. You're the one. Videos don't lie. >> You know I am. You know I am. I've never >> Videos don't lie. No. Don't say you're in trouble. Don't do that. Don't make this more than it needs to be. >> You don't know what I mean. >> Don't make it more than >> You don't know what I mean. >> Okay. Just have your mom come over. Come on over. She'll She'll see the video. >> Talking to me like that. You're crazy. Talk about you're the police. You out here protecting and serving. Go get your children. Come on back. Go get your children. Come on back. >> All right. No, you going to come talk. >> Yeah, tell her. She can show up. She can look at the video. Not >> even talking to you. >> Okay. >> No, because [Music] >> Diana, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Hi. >> Here. Hold on. I'm gonna put you on. Put on speaker. Okay, there's my there's the corporal over there. He looked at the video as well. He's cut the same conclusion I can too. Videos >> let me tell let me start this. You called me and said that the man hit my car. >> I told you. >> You called me the man hit my car. >> You hit my car. >> That's not what you said. You're lying. >> Doesn't matter. So, do you got your ID? >> If you're lying or not. >> Okay. Do you got your ID? Videos don't lie. >> Now, it's becoming clear that she's no longer just denying the facts. The suspect is now accusing the officer of lying and trying to twist the story in her favor. >> Ma'am, if you walk away, I'm going to arrest you. So, come over here and deal with this. No, I'm talking to you. You're 34 year old lady. >> You're lying. It doesn't matter. You want to go to jail. I'm trying to make this simple. It's a simple crash. You can talk You can talk to the corporal. Okay. He's just an officer. He saw the video. He's going to tell you the same thing. >> That's not even what I'm talking about. >> Okay. Nobody lied to you. >> Okay. >> No. No. >> You claimed you didn't get hit. The other man claimed you hit him. All right. >> Okay. So, listen. This is what happened. This is what happened. I I I was driving my car. I came out of Advanced Auto Park um parking lot. I seen him coming. I was in the right lane. I made a big U-turn to come back into the um parking lot right here. Uh he so um at that point I didn't know if anybody had hit me or not. He was behind me. He wasn't in front of me on the side of me, anything like that. You understand? So then I kept going and I stopped a little bit and then he kept following me. >> I understand you're Can you I'm standing right here. >> I understand. So listen, >> try not to yell at me. >> Listen. So, so, so, so my my issue is I didn't I didn't know that if he hit me or not. And I didn't really know what was going on. I've been shot in my head by a person in my car before. So, I kept going and I came through this neighborhood, came back out, he was still following me, went on 19, he was still following me. I called the police because I was scared and that's how they got my phone number. He called me and said, "Oh, the man said that he hit your car, so I want to come see your car." >> Regardless, okay, this officer is doing a crash investigation. >> Okay, >> we we want to keep it simple. >> Realizing her arguments aren't working, tears now take the place of the woman's denial, hoping for sympathy. >> You need to give him your identification. >> Okay, I'm >> You do need to give him your identification because you're a subject of investigation. If you don't, you might incur further charges for obstruction. >> Miss. >> Miss, can you talk with me? >> Miss, >> I'm calm, but this is not going to get turned around on me as I can't be scared of a white man in in America because I've been shot in the head. Like, and then he comes and he tries to turn this around on me. Like, it's my fault, bro. >> Are you serious right now? I've never been in trouble in my life. You want to arrest me in front of my kids because of something that he said? Like, listen to the call that he called me and said, please. It does matter, >> miss. >> It does matter, >> miss. >> Can you hear what I'm saying, though? >> Oh my god. >> Right now, he's conducting a crash investigation. >> You need >> I don't have it. >> You need to cooperate and give your license. >> I don't have it. >> What's your full name? >> You need to give him your identification. What? No, it's not. >> Miss, please come here. >> You just said to get my identification, didn't you? >> Okay. >> I You said you didn't have it. So, I was >> I was talking to my mom. She said the insurance. >> Okay. >> So, do you want me to get >> State Farm? Ask your mom if it's still farm. >> Do you want me to get it or not? >> Yeah. Insurance. >> See, listen. I don't care about that. But this is a hidden run. >> So you can take her to jail right now if you want. >> It's your fault. >> Which is what I would do because she's showing out. >> You want me to get my ID? >> Go get your ID and come back. All she had to do was provide the right documents. But now, what should have been simple is quickly getting out of hand. >> No. >> Ma'am, come here and give him your ID. >> You know my name. Do you not know my name? >> No, but you need to give it as part of the investigation. >> You know my name. >> What is it? >> You really literally know my name. >> Okay. Well, you look much younger than the photo that's displayed of you. >> It's me. That's a compliment. >> I will fight this in court cuz this is ridiculous. >> That's perfect. >> Ma'am, >> what is your first information? >> You know my name. >> Can you spell it for me? >> You know my name. >> All right, let's let's go. Let's do this. Take your custo. >> Put your hands behind your body. >> Why? Now you're arresting me. Mom. >> Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. >> Get off my mom, bro. Get off my mom. I wasn't trying to take it down the path of leaving the scene of a crash, which her daughter did. All right. I was trying to keep it simple as a simple short form crash. She couldn't accept that she was at fault. Okay. Now, when I talked to her, I told her the other party is claiming that she hit him. Okay. That turned out to be the truth. All right. So, I'm going to show you the video so you can see what went on. And I'm I'm being very, very, very cooperative and very courteous and give you the whole anchelada. >> In contrast to her daughter, the suspect's mother remains calm and open to what the officers have to say. >> Make sure you get her info. >> Who? She left her lane of travel. Cut in front of him. >> All right. So, she's at fault. Okay. >> Okay. There's no denying that. And then she left. She She left. She drove right through the gas station, took off, and he's following her, calling out. She's not stopping. And she took off and and left. >> I mean, my hands are my hands are tied, man. Right. And I was, like I said, >> we were here trying to take care of the investigation. She's not giving us >> not giving ID cuz she looks a lot younger than the photos that I have of her. And I'm like, is this her daughter? It's this, you know, she doesn't look, trust me, the photos I have, your daughter looks about 10 to 15 years younger than the photos that we have. Even her David photo doesn't even look anything like her, right? So, just give me your name. You heard her on the phone. I said, "Just spell your name. Give me your name." And she wouldn't she wouldn't do it. >> All right. I mean, how many opportunities? >> I was on the phone and I had to >> How many opportunities, you know, how many opportunities do we have to give? >> All right. I I need to verify your who you are cuz I'm not 100% confident in who you are. Okay. All right. So, and then once we went to take her and cuss it cuz she was continuing to playing games with us. I don't have all time. Your grandson come running out and charging us. >> Charging at us. >> All right. He didn't know. He actually runs into the other officer. >> And to make matters worse, her grandson now faces a charge of battery on a law enforcement officer. >> And so he's going he's going to jail for battery on a law. >> Yeah. All right. I mean, unfortunately, your daughter Unfortunately, your daughter made this more than what it needed to be, man. >> Okay. I mean, trust me. Uh, she made it way more than what it needed to be. Now, are you good with staying with the grandchildren? Can I see? Can I see my grandson? >> Not right now. We're going to get He's got to go down to the county jail. >> Can I at least look at him? >> Ma'am, can you please stay back here? I I'm I'm being very nice. I >> I am not going to do anything. >> You can't go talk to him. He's got We got to go. >> I'm not going to talk to him. I just want to see his face. That's all. >> I understand, man. But that can't happen right now. Okay. >> Okay. This officer's got to leave. I need you to stay over here. And if you want to go inside and talk to your grandb babies and make sure the three are okay cuz you've got a little one in there. >> Yes. >> Go in take care of them. Okay. >> Okay. That's I know I stay with a friend here sometimes. >> Mhm. >> But jeez, why you got a shine in my eyes? >> It's not in your eyes. It's shining down here at the ground. >> You got some ID? >> Why? >> Well, cuz you're intoxicated and you don't live here and you obviously don't live here. >> Do you have an ID? >> I do. >> Okay. Well, let's see your ID. >> All right. So, I'm not the one you want to play this game with. I'm gonna tell you that right now. So, you can cooperate. >> I am >> central semi 94, please. >> I'm homeless. >> There you go. >> And I was just waiting on my friend to come back out. >> Mhm. >> And she hasn't came back out. >> Uhhuh. May 13 and >> well, you're trespassing on at least two different properties right now, so you're going to produce ID. >> It quickly becomes clear she's under the influence, and getting her to follow directions won't be easy. >> Actually, from the palm trees over to there >> is their property. >> This is county property. Well, guess who I work for? >> Who do you work for? >> The county. So, you're going to provide me ID or you're going to end up going to jail for no reason right now. So, >> why would I go to jail? I'm not doing nothing. >> All right. >> I was sitting here waiting for my friend. >> Mhm. So, am I doing >> Give me my an ID or you're going to go to jail. That's where we're at right now. >> Why am I going to jail? >> Oh, I I got my ID right here, sir. My goodness. >> What? I was just sitting there waiting for I wasn't doing nothing wrong. And I didn't >> What happened to your ID? It's like >> there it is. So you can stand up. >> No, I Oh my goodness. You took a drink of it when I drove by. >> Just minutes into the encounter, she's in custody. And thanks to her refusal to comply, officers are forced to bring her to the station against her will. >> I just need to get her other hand behind her. >> What are you doing? >> Put your hand behind your back. >> What are you doing? >> Behind your back. Put your hand behind your back. Stop biting. >> There you go. >> What are y'all doing to me? You are detained. Do not fight. >> Oh my goodness. I was just sitting there. >> Yeah. Drinking a beer. And why did y'all twist me around like that? I got >> Because when I went to put you under arrest, you pulled away. You refused to comply. >> I did not. >> I was fixing to show you my ID. Why would you all do that to me? I was just there. I didn't pull away. >> Yeah. >> No stuff. You pulled your arm away. That's why you went sitting there. >> I was waiting for my friends to come back. >> Well, now you're going to go to jail. So >> why? >> Violation of county ordinance and resisting arrest. Oh, y'all are so >> Even as officers try to secure her, the woman's drunken outbursts don't let up, making things even more difficult for the authorities. Relax. Just lay right there. >> That's all right. I'll talk to Judge Shannon and Judge Haymon's about this and Judge Bell. >> Yeah. I don't know. >> You talk to whoever you like. >> Whoever you all are. This is >> Campbell. It'll be on your booking paperwork. >> Born a racer. Who gives it? >> I was born a racer and I was just sitting here doing nothing till they get here. >> Let's put her in. You mind doing the driving? >> I had done. >> I was just sitting there doing nothing. [Music] Okay. All right, I'll talk to Well, my grandmother, my father, and everybody knows. >> Have a seat. >> So, the security guard here tells me she's sitting back here, and she already gave him a hard time. So, when I drove by, I watched her take a swig of something and I get here, and she refuses to provide her name or any other information. So, off she'll go. I still don't even know what her name is, you know. It's just I'm like like you live here? Yeah. Well, a friend lives here. Sometimes I stay with them. I'm waiting for a friend to come pick me up. Inside her belongings, officers find exactly what they expected. Alcohol, cigarettes, and identification. >> There we go. >> I'm not familiar with her. >> I'm not either. I didn't recognize her, but >> looks like she's normally Panagorta down in Sibly Bay. I thought there was going to be for sure something in here how she was clenching it, but >> well, she was playing the I'm going to comply for a second and then I'm going to get an attitude in the again and then I'm going to comply for a second >> and then I'm not going to comply and then Yeah. >> So, apparently it was my first day. Yeah. She took a she slammed something right when I drove by. I watched her like put it down, slam it down, and then by the time I got turned around, >> I'm like, >> security guard said she was giving he was she was giving him a hard time. >> Yeah, cuz she's got all this furniture pulled out and she's made herself this little and she's like, "Well, this is the county here." I'm like, "Well, guess who I work for." >> The incident ends with a woman being charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. Number one, when jealousy lands you in handcuffs. On January 31st, 2025, officers responded to a church parking lot after reports that a vehicle had been vandalized by a female suspect. Here's what they found when they arrived. >> Um, the girl back there >> that he was messing with. >> Um, >> who's this? >> That's one of the witnesses. >> That's one of the witnesses. All right, just hold on one second. You're >> good. Um, she messed with his car and put like I guess ketchup and mustard and eggs and stuff on his car. >> Okay. And um he came back and seen it. >> Mhm. >> And then um that's when she came around the corner and he was in the middle of the road and she was coming really fast and then that's when she hit him. >> Okay. Hold on. So tell tell me again what happened. I kind of got an idea from the first witness um from her statements, but you just tell me uh you know from when it started to to how we got here now. >> Uh from when it started, I was with these group last uh what's it called? I was with uh the girl last night >> and then I left >> and then I guess one told a lie to the other one making me uh try to fix the situation, but I couldn't. >> Mhm. >> And then she pulls up cuz he's already mad. This is my girl right now. The girl, the other girl like >> So you're saying that this this person here is your girl? >> Yeah. >> Okay, I got you. The other one, uh, she a girl I used to mess with for like 8 months, but I never took it serious. Uh, >> I got you. >> And then that happened, I guess. I tried to come back cuz I forgot I lost the key, try to go to the office, try to get another key >> and then drive back down and then she's outside waiting for me. Try to confront me about the situation that happened. >> Mhm. >> And then I parked my car somewhere else cuz the girl, the other girl, >> Mhm. >> she had called me. She said, "Oh, blonde by." She was trying to confront me, try to like get the script together. She called me and then she was like, "All right, bet. Watch this." I'm like, man, I already knew what was going to happen cuz my car, >> according to the victim, the suspect is his ex. And it appears she damaged the vehicle in an attempt to get back at him. >> So, I tried to park my car somewhere else, >> but I see her turning out, flicking her middle finger, so I already knew something happened. And then she spent around again. >> Mhm. >> And then my car, you can see in the front uh all the ketchup and all that. >> Mhm. >> So So what did she put? What did she put on your car? Exactly. What did you see? >> So it's still there. >> Yeah, it's So cuz cuz we got calls about some other other stuff. Was it just more than ketchup? I >> I don't know. I pulled up car messed up. Like >> I see her trying to take off quick. So I'm like I'm confused if she did it. And then I'm standing in the middle of the road cuz that's like my car. Like I'm mad. So I see her driving full force at me. I'm like, I don't know what to do. Like you going to stop or what? And then she doesn't stop. So I don't know what to do. So I just jumped up and then I got hit. >> Okay. You got jumped up. Where did the Where did the car first strike you >> from? The front like >> Oh, I I know the car struck you with the front of the car, but where did it strike your body first? Like >> like right here? >> Right. So So it' be kind of right where the these these lacerations are right here. >> Yeah. right here and then falling on the window arm then to to the road and then hit my head and then that's it. >> So So the car So you jumped up the car hit you here >> like car I jumped up >> car hit me right here. I get hit right here window. >> I got you. >> And now I'm on the ground back shoulder. >> Mhm. So So then you you come up over the hood, you hit the windshield and you fall to the ground. >> I guess I fell to the right. >> Mhm. to the ground and then she she just kept going and then I wake up. >> You got all the scraps and scratches on your arm. >> With a victim's wounds documented, officers now turn to another witness for more details. >> All right. So, just go ahead again from beginning to end from what you saw. >> I'm going tell you though. I don't want to go into the whole the whole thing and pass. I'm going tell you what I saw just now. >> She He's He's right there. We came there and we saw that she um she vandalized his car. >> Yeah. So then he's like, "Yo, what are you doing?" So when he steps out from the car, she's coming full speed with her car cuz like there's there's Alyssa pulling out >> and then he steps out and sees Yoshi coming in her car. >> Mhm. >> So he's like, "Yo, what is he doing?" And she don't slow down. In fact, she speeds up and comes and hits him full speed with the hits in the car. >> Yeah. Okay. And then uh so when he got hit with the car, what what what happened to him? He just >> keep jumping like sent him flying and >> Yeah. He so he went he so he flew up over the top of the car into the windshield and then >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Had wheelshield then he went on the floor and she kept driving. >> Yeah. Just watch. He's he's leaving. >> No. So then So then it just knocked him onto the ground. >> Yeah. >> After hearing from the victim. Officers now confront the suspect. Now they're about to hear what she has to say for herself. >> So just again just tell me what from beginning to end. No, you put that you put your hand up. Um go ahead. So just tell me again from beginning to end what what happened. >> Okay. So started off last night. This is my ex. Okay. >> So he came over yesterday. Um >> he was invited from he's friends with my friend which I live with my friend, right? >> So >> she invited him over. Whatever. Everything was cool. He came in my room. He slept over. He left. I told my friend what happened. My friend told her friend, but little did we all know that her friend was messing with him as well. So she went to him about it like, "Oh, so you're messing with Yoshi." And so then he called me like, "Why are you telling?" I was like, >> "Listen, I'm a girl. That's what I do. Whenever I have something, I'm going to tell my friend." So I hang up. I call her again. She's telling me that >> I'm forcing myself on there. He called me a drunk high. >> My Joe's in my room minding my business. He came here. So like, he was basically lying on me, right? >> So then he got caught in a lie. >> Mhm. >> Um she called me, right, and was like, >> "He punched my right here. He punched my thing out, right? >> He punched what thing out? >> Uh, what's his thing called? Uh, >> the the side mirror. >> Side mirror. Punched it out. >> Did he break it or anything? >> I don't that I didn't hear. I just She called me and broke hit hers. Right. >> It broke hers. Okay. >> So then I live right there, building seven, right? >> She was like, um, pull up. >> Mhm. >> Cuz she's yelling at him like going off on him. I pull up. >> I see his car got milk, all different types of stuff on it. Look white, red, all that type of stuff on it. According to the victim and multiple witnesses, the suspect used her vehicle to strike him, but her version of events tells a very different story. >> Boom. >> I drive and I see his friend's car. It's like a gray Chrysler. Um >> like in the middle of the road, like basically how your car is, right? >> Yeah. I got you. >> Like there. And his car is parked. >> He's around the car, right? I'm coming this way. >> He sees me and he just jumps on my freaking car. So then at that point when he jumps on my car, I get out my At first I didn't want to hit my mom. I can already tell he's crazy. >> So I didn't get out. >> Yeah, you just come back over here and get this. It' be easier to get this. >> Okay. Sorry. I didn't get out. I didn't get out my car. What I did was she I'm guessing after he punched, she drove off. She was parked right here. I ended up coming closer to her and then that's when I get out my car. Me and her both walked up to there, right? >> He's like, "You stay the back. You stay back." >> I stay back cuz I can already tell he's crazy. His whole back is bleeding. Mhm. >> He was like, "Um, your daddy got you that car." Uh, uh-uh, but I had to work for mine. D. And I just started, we just started cussing each other out, cussing each other out, cussing each other out. And so then I called the cops. And then after that, I'm on the phone with the cops. We're just all standing there waiting. And then he just drives off. >> He just drives off. Okay. >> All right. So, so, so your statement is that So, so, so who who put all the condiments and stuff all over his car? >> That I have no clue. I just came I was on the phone with her. She said she about to Well, first of all, when I called her, she wasn't here. >> Who Who is she, by the way? >> Alyssa. Was she not over there? >> Alyssa. Okay. So, Alyssa called you. >> Alyssa called me, right? >> So, Alyssa's So, so you're telling me that >> me and Alyssa are messing with the same person that over there? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, punched Alyssa's car. >> Yeah. Like her little windshield. >> Her side. >> So, then that's when we were already on the phone before she got there. Then she hung out cuz her phone was dying. She called me back. He's like, "He just punched my thing." I said, "Hold up. I'm coming." I pull up. This car is parked basically where that silver car is >> and it's like filled with >> At this point, she firmly denies having anything to do with the incident or the vehicle involved. >> So, is is his car here now? >> No, his friend took the car. >> His friend took the car >> and left and left. >> But when I came here, the car was there with the condiments. >> I pull up. >> He's already mad. I can already tell he has some energy. But when he seen me, I seen him before he seen me. He was yelling. He turned around and seen me and then immediately just started walking up to my car. I'm I'm still driving because I'm trying to like where his car got out. >> Yeah. I mean, he was upset about all the stuff all over his car. Yeah. >> So, he's the car is parked there. I'm trying to just keep going. He comes in front of my car, realizes I'm not stopping, and jumps on top of the car. >> So, so, so, so you're driving through here. You see him? >> Yeah. >> And you don't try to stop at all? >> No. cuz he wasn't in front of me until I got to like that little speedboat area and then he got in front of my car. >> At that point, I'm going to keep going. I didn't thought he was going to move out the way. No, he jumped on top of the car. >> So, okay. >> All right. So, is there anything that you might have left out of your statement that you may have talked with another deputy about or? >> No. >> No. >> No. >> Okay. So, is this his car right here? >> No, that's the friend's car. >> That's the friend's car. >> Yeah. >> Where what what is his car? as far as like a a a silver Infiniti or a Lexus. >> Oh, it's it's an Infinity. Yeah. Okay. So, that's So, that's the that's the guy that got hit car. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I got you. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Um >> All right. So, now that I got I got that straightened out cuz it was confusing whose car was when the car >> That's his car. I came here, his car was parked there. It was filled with stuff. >> Yeah, I got you. >> Then that car that just passed was parked where your car was at. He was by that car. I was driving past and when he seen me, >> he got in front of my car and jumped on top of me. >> Why? Why do you think he would have done that? >> Cuz he's mad I just caught him in a lie. >> That's it. >> Yeah. >> So, you don't know how any of that stuff? >> Cuz at the end of the day, he keeps telling her like he was like, "Um, >> so you don't know how any of that stuff got on his car?" >> No. >> With another strong denial, the suspect now tries to redirect blame. For the moment, officers allow her to keep talking. She already told Well, she already told me that stuff was on his car when I got there and that she punched his window. So, I knew that that stuff was >> She punched his window. >> No, >> that he punched. >> She already told me like cuz she already told me all was on his car >> and that he just punched her window out. So, I was like, "Okay, I live right there." So, then I drove here. I see it for my I see the car and then I see her car and then he sees me and then he jumps on my car. >> Okay. >> But yeah, >> I got you. Okay. So, are are you and Alyssa friends? We're not close, >> but I know her. >> Yeah, I got >> Yeah. Acquaintances. So then when we found out, instead of being mad at each other, you were more mad at him. >> Okay. >> So then once I got the information from her, I called him and I was like, "So you're telling her that I was the one that brought you to my house and till this very second, he'll tell you that he didn't sleep over last night. He didn't walk up in my room. He's still armed with that lie." Well, I mean he Well, when I talked to him earlier, um >> he Yeah, he he told me that he was messing around with you for like eight months or something. >> Okay. >> So, is that is that sound about right? >> Yeah. But to her, he won't admit that to her. >> Okay. Well, I mean I mean that's I mean that's >> that's probably why she's mad. >> All right. I mean Yeah. I mean either way. So I mean um >> so but again he was in the middle of the road and you were driving the vehicle. >> Yeah. And and you're saying that he stepped out in front of the vehicle at the last minute >> and jumped on top of my car. >> I got you. Okay. >> And then when I got out the car, he was saying that I hit him. But you could clearly tell like if I would have hit him, there would have been some damage on top of my You could clearly tell. >> You want to just show show that to me. >> Oh yeah. So like if I was hit, right? If he was standing in my car and I really ran him over, wouldn't that >> my car is spot? Yeah, >> he jump like he took himself and jumped on top of my car. >> Do Do you think he might have just jumped because he saw the car coming and he didn't know? >> No, he he put himself in front of my car. >> He listens patiently as she finishes, but it's clear the officer already knows how this is going to end. >> I got you. >> Nobody told him to he got from where he was at by his car to get in front of my car and jump in front of my car. >> Why do you think he got in front of your car? >> Cuz he's crazy. >> Cuz he's crazy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, so I'm just going to be honest with you. I got completely different stories from four other witnesses that saw everything. >> You saw everything? >> Yeah, I saw everything. >> Okay. So, what they say? >> So, so what I'm going to need you to do is I'm going to need you to turn around though for me. Okay. You're going to be under arrest for agrated battery. Okay. >> Uncle, can you grab my phone? Belinding, grab my phone. >> You don't want it by pocket. >> It's all right. You want to take it with you to jail? >> Okay, cool. You want to take it with you to the gym? >> My phone? Oh, I can take it. >> You can take you take it with you to jail. >> I don't. He aggravated assault. All right. All right. Come on. Is there anything in your pockets right now that I need to be my keys? That just >> And my phone. Where are you taking my phone? >> I'm taking I'm just I'm You're I'm going to bring it with you to the jail. Okay. All right. So, is there anything else on you that are in your pockets or anything? Do you have any pockets in these pants? No. >> All right. Cuz I just don't want to go touch I don't want to go doing that with you and touching or anything like that. Okay. >> All right. So, when am I getting my phone back is the question. >> When what's going to happen is that they're going to they're going to go through a booking process with you at the jail. Okay. Once that booking process is done. Okay. Um they're you're going to go >> what aggravated assault is. Like that means I I I hit him. Is that what you're trying to tell? >> Yeah. With the vehicle. Yeah. Absolutely. >> Is that what she said I did, too? >> Everybody said the same. Everybody said the same thing except for you. >> I I swear to God. >> Okay. So, right now, Right. R right now. Right now, >> you don't see the proof on the car that I did it. I understand right now based on the information that I have right now. Okay. That's that's where the investigation is going. Okay. So, you're going to have your day. >> I can even call. Can I >> You're going to have your day. Okay. >> Uncle can at least come see if you're >> I What I'll do is I'm going to close the door here. I'll roll down the window and they can come talk to you. Okay. >> Please. Before transport, the officer gives the woman a clear rundown of what's coming next and how they arrived at the decision to take her in. >> That's what I have to go with. >> So, you're going with words and not the proof of the car being freaking jumped on. >> Right. Right now, based on my observations, it looks like that somebody you you hit somebody with your car. >> But if I would have hit him, wouldn't the front of my car be damaged? >> I I'm not I'm not sure how all that damage occurred. Okay. But there is damage on the vehicle and you even yourself >> a freaking liar because even with her her own mouth, she came out her mouth and told me she literally witnessed her like this is crazy. This is crazy. >> Okay, >> in the end she was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments and I'll see you in the next video. As always, stay safe out there, folks.
