You're calling somebody. >> Order an Uber. >> Hey, babe. >> I'm going to phone my girl. All right. >> Me, too. Me, too. Hold on. Hold on. Me, too. >> In the end, both suspects were charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing after warning, and resisting arrest without violence. This passenger tried to use connections. Airport staff weren't impressed. On January 8th, 2023, officers were dispatched to Dallas airport after a female passenger was removed from a flight for causing a major disturbance. Here's what unfolded when the officers arrived. >> Miss, you're not free to leave. >> Okay. No, you're not. Come here. >> All right. Send it. How bunga it is. Now she walks. Yeah. >> Goodbye. Are >> you sure? >> She was informed that she is not afraid to leave and then she continued to laugh. So >> Oh lord. >> Yeah. >> Cow it is. restaurant. >> Are you okay? >> No, I'm not. >> I'm just checking on you. >> What's going on? >> It's not okay. >> What's going on? >> I'm being harassed and I'm not uncomfortable. Like, I'm very uncomfortable. I'm not okay. >> Okay. I need your cops to come right out. >> Welcome. >> Okay. I'm a police officer. I'm here to check on you. >> Thank you. I need your car to come right out. >> Okay. Open the stall. Let me let me >> I'm not I'm not comfortable to do that at the second. >> Okay. Well, I can talk to you through the stall. What's going on? >> I have no idea. Like they like I have no idea. Everyone in the plane said they were fine with me. >> Uhhuh. >> They were like making an issue. I was like, "If it's going to delay your flight, I'm not going to delay your flight." And they were all like, "We're fine." But I was like, "I'm not going to delay your flight." That's it. >> Are you trying to go home or on vacation? >> No, I'm going to work. >> Believing she can buy herself time, the suspect barricades herself in the restroom. Unfortunately for her, the officers remain three steps ahead. >> Okay. Do you want to come out here and I can help you out? What airline? >> I don't feel I don't feel sincere in your voice that you're going to help me out. >> I'm here to help you. What airline are you flying with? >> Obviously, no airlines. I was the last airline tonight. Money, bro, cuz I didn't want to make a scene for y'all. >> Okay. So my biggest concern >> I got off the plane so it didn't have to be a thing. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> I was like trying to be helpful but like honestly it's ridiculous. >> Okay. So my goal is to make sure you get where you're going and make sure that you're safe to get there. >> If I had to go to LA >> Okay. >> I'm supposed to be at LA at 9:00 a.m. >> Okay. So do you have a boarding pass or are they >> for that plane and they even said that you didn't do anything wrong? Like I don't know who is Bro. >> So do you want to go try to get rebooked or >> how am I going to get rebooked, bro? That was a last flight tonight. >> Well, do you live in Texas or >> No, I live in Orlando. >> Okay. >> So why did they want you to get off the flight? >> They wouldn't just want anybody to get off the flight. There has to be a reason. >> They literally asked the whole crew. The whole crew did not say they need to be off the flight. They didn't. I voluntarily left cuz I know how it's like betting your flight. I don't like >> So why do you think they wanted you off the flight? >> I have no idea. Obviously somebody doesn't want me. They're doing a power move. Like whatever. It has nothing to do with the whole flight. >> Okay. Can you open the door so we can go figure this out? >> Um no. I don't feel comfortable with that because I feel like the the whole reason I don't feel comfortable. >> Okay. Well, I'M I'M HERE. I'M NOT going to leave. I'm I'm my my >> obviously I'm here, but I don't No, I don't I don't trust you guys because the way that I got kicked off the plane was was irrational. So, no, I don't feel comfortable. >> Okay, >> if that makes sense. You get what I'm saying? >> Yeah. So, how did you get to Dallas? >> What do you mean? I flew here. I'm working three events in a row. I was working at Giant Boys game. Y'all came to Dallas. We're supposed to fly to LA to drive or no? We're supposed to fly to to Nevada. And then as soon as we we drop off our gun, we're find we're driving with another gun all the way to LA because there was no flight. >> The officers try to piece together her explanation, but noticeable inconsistencies quickly begin to surface. >> So, you don't have any friends or family or anybody here in Dallas? >> I'm not going to answer that question cuz I feel like that makes me feel like like I'm like um what is that vulnerable? I'm not going to answer something that makes >> Well, I was just saying if you had somebody that you could go with that's here since you're here by yourself. >> No, they were there. I was literally finally clean. The whole thing said it was fine. I don't understand what the issue was. The thing is that queen was supposed to drop me off and that's the whole thing. The plane was supposed to drop me off in in Vegas so we could drive to LA to work the Georgia game. I'm supposed to work the Georgia game. >> Oh, so your whole crew is on the plane. >> No, I'm in Vegas. My miss. I'm the only one on the plane. >> Okay. So, do you want to get to Georgia for THE GAME TOMORROW? >> YES. SO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN THE STALL? LET'S GET OUT. >> I don't trust y'all cuz there was no reason why I was kicked off for things. I didn't trust y'all. >> Well, I'm I I wasn't there. That was crazy that even got kicked off. So, now how do you make me feel? How would you feel if somebody kicked you off some crazy matter? >> Well, I don't work for the airline, so >> it matter. How did you feel? >> I would feel you to do for no reason. >> I would be upset. >> Like it would scare you. You'd be scared. >> Yeah. And I want some answers. >> No, I'm scared now. events right now. >> Yeah. Yeah. And I'll be scared, too. But that's why the police are here to help you get some answers. >> The police The police for what? >> Yeah. To help you out. >> Yo, y'all are tripping. >> No, >> I'm not journalist right now. >> So, do you want to go to the ticket counter to try to get rebooked or get some help >> cuz my ticket? >> Yeah, they'll give me a refund. >> I'll get a refund. >> Yeah, cuz I don't. Yes, >> that's how much I was going to make at the game. $2,000. Destroy your ladder. >> Well, let's go. So, you can try >> me for no reason, right? No one had a problem with me. So, I don't make $2,000. That's great. >> Well, the game is not till tomorrow night. >> Babe, that that Listen, that was my my way of thinking outside the box to get there. Going to Vegas. >> Now, the officers are genuinely trying to sort out the woman's concerns, but her reactions make the situation harder than it needs to be. >> Yeah. I go into Vegas and driving with him and paying for his gas. That was me thinking outside the box. Now y'all just >> done. Ain't nothing else. I just want to go home. >> Well, let's try to get you home cuz I'm I'm here to help you out. >> Being in a stall obviously pissed the wrong person. I wasn't even in the store. I was in the I was on the plane. >> Uhhuh. >> Nobody had a problem with me. I even I was like, "Wait, before I leave, if anyone has a problem with me, let me know and I'll be a prayer and I'll make a symbol." >> Well, can you open the stall? >> Nobody said anything. >> Can you open the stall? I'm still I'm I'll let you stay on the toilet and I'll >> comfortable with that. >> I'm going to stand right here. I'm not even going to come in. >> I'm not even going to come in. >> You're going to arrest me for what? >> Who said I was going to arrest you? >> What do you mean? My dad lieutenant. >> Lieutenant where? >> Does it matter? He's lieutenant in Rhode Island. Okay. >> That's where I'm from. That's I live like half my life there. Like no. The fact that you're saying that like I know what's going on and and it's unreasonable. >> Well, can you open the Can you open the stall? I'm not going to come in. I'm just going to stand right here. >> I feel like I'm possibly just >> No, I don't feel safe to have the phone. I know. I'm from here. >> Yeah. >> Is that your phone? Cuz I don't feel safe. >> Yeah. >> Can you open the door? >> No. No. No. I want to call You're >> We are 911. >> No. No. You're restricting me from 911 access because I was >> We are 911. >> No. No. You're restricting me from 911 access. >> Don't do that. Don't do that to yourself. >> We are the police. When you call 911, show up, >> right? But also, if I want 911, I can't. >> Can you kick this? >> Yo, y'all are just annoying. Orlando. >> Did Did you So, did you have anything to drink that would make them think that you would need to be on the plane? >> What? >> Why would they kick you off? >> The officers are trying to keep the situation steady, but the woman's next move crosses a clear line. >> So, you were being upset, but you didn't have anything to drink? >> I was like being a little obnoxious like I was talking. I don't know who who made that call. No idea. So, did you have anything to drink today? >> Okay. But did you have anything to drink today? >> It's not against the law to drink. I'm just trying to figure you out here. >> Cuz I was they like I must have gone wrong seat. Whatever. Your kids seat. She got like what? >> So, did you have anything to drink today? >> Honestly, this is inconvenience in my pants. It's not What a This is this is Frontier. >> I'm not Frontier. So, did you have anything to drink today? Is that why they would not want you on the plane? >> No, they even said the whole plane said that they were fine with you being there. >> No, I'm asking you. Did you have anything >> on the plane? They just said they were fine. >> No, I'm asking you. Yes or no? The fact that I was even arrested, I feel like I'm not like it wasn't in the right. If I felt like it was in the right, it would be understandable. We tried to get her to just like sit up and pass her seat. So, avoid a lot of kids back there. So, we tried to not make any big issue about it. Uh, but they continued. So, >> And were there any children around them? Yeah. The family, they're in 26 AB. Uh the kids in 27. >> Did you actually see it? >> I just need you to write it down for me what you saw. >> Yeah. >> And then uh lady with her kid witnessed it as well. >> Hello. Hey, are these >> are those that was there? >> Yeah. >> Hold up. We got to talk to you guys. >> Okay. >> What happened on the plane? >> Laying down. >> What do you mean? >> I was sleeping on him. >> As the staff begins to explain what happened, the details start to paint a troubling picture for the officers. Okay. So it was reported that you both were having uh on board. >> We were having I'm sorry what >> on board. So they were reported by the captain. So >> it is it is unacceptable you do that on board. >> I I don't know but that that's that's why they were reporting to us. >> Okay. >> For half of the flight. >> I stopped the entire plane. And he was like really, really rude about it. up basically was asleep and I never watched a movie. I never turned on the TV. I was asleep. >> The only thing that I can think of was that male student when I was laying down and he came over and was super rude and was like, "Turn around and put your seatelt on." He was sleeping. I was like I had my legs up like almost like a fetal position like and he was had his arm wrapped around me and that was it. I mean, we don't we didn't have any like blankets or anything. This is crazy. >> This is crazy. Rather than acknowledging the complaints, the suspects pushed back hard, placing the blame squarely on the flight attendants. >> Well, that was why they reported as the TSA had to follow up with you guys because I wanted to understand that any kind of like that. >> And listen, if I was going to do that, I wouldn't feel right behind me. >> Well, it makes sense to get film. I just wanted to make sure that that was wrong. That's the reason I pulled you off. >> That's fine. But that's why >> I I was actually telling like this was the most rudest. >> Um >> All right. So, I'm going to as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> This is insane. mother. >> Let's go out to our office. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Can I take my children? >> He's going to stay with me. And you know, >> this is like humiliating. >> We're just talking. There's There's really nothing to be humiliated about, you know? >> I mean, I I don't know what what's going on. We just asked to come and talk to you guys. So, we're going to talk to you guys privately. You know, >> with both suspects refusing to admit anything, the officers now have to rely on witness statements to piece together what really happened. >> Okay. >> Okay. Hi. >> What did you say happened? >> Okay. When we play, she was judging up and she and I I come with my kids 11 years old and another 14 years old. and she was watching that like this was watching on them and she didn't stop and I was like I didn't what what to do because my little one was like what >> your identification >> no one >> okay >> okay just you want to step over here so that way >> the only thing is that I don't want that she >> I Are you able to read my handwriting? I didn't know. >> Yeah. Yeah. Okay, cool. >> Did you actually see his organs or anything or >> um couldn't see any organs because it was the way it was angled in there and it was a little hard to see. But >> did you ask him to stop? >> We Well, we're trying not to because that way if we did, you know, we were going to cause a problem and it was early in the flight. So, we had about an extra hour and a half, I want to say, of the flight. >> So, >> how long did it go on for? >> That's a good question, too. You got to know a little bit more than I did. We were just trying to make pass by so we could witness it. We made multiple ones and I was the only one that saw motion. >> So that was the best act that I saw. >> So was her head in his lap, not her hand. >> Straight in the lap. So like obviously >> was there a blanket or anything? >> Nope. >> No. Wow. >> That's why I was able to see the up and down, but I couldn't see any actual problem. It might have been through the definitely something. >> Okay. Uh can you just put your give your your ID so I can just take a picture of it? >> All right. basically because of the information provided. Obviously, we have to talk to you guys. >> Yeah. >> Um separately and go from there. Basically, >> as the witnesses speak, their accounts introduce troubling details that quickly put the suspect's version of events into question. Clearly, there's people around you guys, and I don't know what's being said over there, but we have to talk to them and figure out if they say something that might cause you guys to be under arrest, then they you guys might end up under arrest. If they don't say anything, >> I'm just I'm not saying you did. I'm just saying we're talking to them. They're going to talk to them as well. >> And then eventually, it's going to come up to whatever they believe. That That's all I'm saying. like whoever was around you. >> Okay. >> You want to tell me what happened on the plane? >> The only thing that happened is me and her got on the plane. The girls sat behind us. We asked them if they want to be in front of us so we could see them. They said no. Hello. Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. I I I have one I have them in the cell. All right. Bye. Bye. Yep. Okay. Bye. All right. Go ahead. Um, we joked around for a little bit before we got on the plane or I mean, excuse me, before we left. I slowly started to pass out. I leaned on the window side with the window thing down. My wife apparently was on my shoulder and then eventually her head was on my lap almost probably the entire flight until the gentleman woke us up and asked him to get up seat straight etc etc. I was asleep almost the entire flight. I never watched TV. I never engaged with anybody. I was up all night and I drove us to the airport. >> Okay, >> that's it. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> At this point, I just want to put handcuff the handcuff on you. Okay. Hi. >> I'm not quite sure he's the arresting officer. If there's he's investigating officer, >> what's going on? >> So, >> the officers circle back to the suspects for clarification, but it doesn't take long to notice that their statements still don't add up. >> I'm I've been with you. >> Yeah. What is going on? >> I was in there prior to whatever conversation you guys had with them over there. I'm just walking with you guys to get you guys here. >> Well, we talked to all you guys at the same time though. >> I was I was uh talking to their um flight attendant. >> So, I don't know what was said outside prior to me coming to you guys. So, as of right now, you guys are being detained. >> Whatever investigation does >> are being arrested right now. >> Detained. What is that? I don't even know. >> Detain means that you're in c in our custody until whatever investigation needs to be done is done. What is going on right now? So, but my heart is like beating out of my chest. >> Well, you can't >> There were reports on a plane that you were performing laughs with your husband on the plane in public. >> We weren't doing that. I was like sleeping all over him. Yes. And we were like like giggling and joking when we first got there cuz it was such a show of morning. But I slept on him almost the entire time. And then when the flight attendant said, "Turn around and put your seat belt on." Like I sat up and then he remained sleeping and then laid on me for a little bit and then that was it. >> My kids are behind. >> I wouldn't do anything with my children right there. Like this is insane. Again, >> with the witnesses outnumbering them, it becomes clear that the suspects are running out of room to deny what happened. >> We have to do the investigation. As of right now, you guys are detained until the full investigation is done. >> So, right now, we're getting statements from other people, witnesses, and we'll sort it out. Okay. >> Your your kids are good. They're outside. >> We're like, we're outside. >> Okay. Right. Right in the front. >> This is insane. This is insane. This is insane. >> So like what happens? >> I again it falls down to whatever. >> So it's like their word against ours. Like they say we did something and we said we didn't. I >> I can't tell you exactly what he's going to do, but we just have to rely on what information is being provided. Again, we're doing an investigation on it and then goes from there. That's that's that's all I can tell you right now. >> At this point, the case is nearly wrapped up and all that's left is for the officers to take the suspects into custody. That's it. Following their actions at the airport, both suspects were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and lewd exhibition in front of minors. Do you think these people learned their lesson?
