Most people come to the gym to improve themselves. These folks came to cause problems. Here are five cases when dumb Karens get arrested at gyms. Number five, from help me to you're under arrest. On January 3rd, 2024, officers responded to a disturbance call at a Planet Fitness. But once they arrived, it became clear the situation wasn't as straightforward as it first seemed. lock room to the truck. >> Okay. >> Have you tried to get them to call it so you can see? >> Yeah, someone called it inside of the gym. Um, someone else called it in the locker room. >> No answer. >> Have What type of phone is it? >> It's a iPhone. >> It's a iPhone. Uh, has you tried to ping it? >> Like from another iPhone? >> Yeah. All you do, all you would have to do is go into the either the iCloud browser, whatever the case may be, and you can try to actually locate it. See if is it still inside the facility and you actually still >> ping one of you all >> you have on you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So it was ping and it still even if it's off it was turned off it was still pink. >> Well it's on because when they called it was >> okay that's cool ringing. >> That's cool. So like we got called because I guess you was upset because you lost it in their facility. You was you trying to make it their responsibility? >> No, of course not. But, you know, it just when when I had the phone, >> okay, >> and then go take a shower, >> still had the phone, >> okay? >> You know, and then it got lost in them telling her no, I wasn't making her responsible. But when she put it on my mind that, oh, someone could have took it home with them. That that made me get upset, you know, because I it made me think think in my mind, okay, now I feel like somebody stole my phone, you know, I just went all the way around this. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Cool. But I said you was just cuz I was just trying to get in here and figure out like how how did it become their responsibility? >> No, I didn't make it their responsib far as you was dispatched to it that you was make try to make it their responsibility that your phone was stolen cuz you got into argument with them any kind of way >> how to do it. >> No leave it with you. >> I'm thinking like okay well if it's not in the truck it's not in this truck stop. I mean, it's not in this um locker room. Then it's been stolen. Somebody just came in here and they just stole it. >> And where was the last place that you have it? >> In a locker room. >> While the man was focused on reporting his stolen phone, officers quickly learned he wasn't the caller. The gym staff had contacted police about a disturbance. And once officers heard both sides, things began to make sense. >> I probably said a gentleman outside. I guess what's the issue between you guys or anything going on? >> The issue is is that he lost his property in the gym? >> Yes. >> He was not using the lockers like he's supposed to to lock up his property. >> Okay. >> And he lost his cell phone. Cell phone has not been turned in here and he can't find it. >> Okay. >> Whenever he asked if I would call the police, I told him I could not call the police on this phone to report the phone as stolen. That was going to be something that he had to do. He's going to have to get with somebody and report it as stolen on his own. >> Okay. He got angry about that and threatened us that he was going to act a fool up in here. First of all, I I've tried to help him look for his phone. I've checked the lost and found, checked all the doors up here cuz normally we stick them in the door if somebody turns them in. >> Yes. >> But for him to become violent after we've helped him look for his phone and everything, >> okay, >> was unacceptable. He doesn't even have club membership. I can pull it up for him. >> You say he does it? >> No, he doesn't pay his bill. So technically when he walked in, whoever was here on overnight should have denied him entry. >> Okay. >> Cuz it says check in denied. >> Okay. >> He's not even a member here. >> Okay. >> He's a member of somebody else. >> All right. So basically, he say you say he wasn't using the lockers like he's supposed to. So how how was he not using it? Did he not store it inside of it or he just left? >> He left I don't know what he did with this one. >> Okay. Um, he left it apparently somewhere for somebody to pick up, but it wasn't in a lock locker. We have lockers up here. >> Okay. >> And we have lockers that you can bring your own lock in locker room to lock your stuff up and they're not responsible for your property if you leave it somewhere. >> Okay. So, far in since you did cuz like I explained to him um it came out as a disturbance. So, therefore, that's why we come in approaching, >> right? Because he threatened violence here. >> So, What would y'all like done here? So, right now, >> at this point, the staff's only request is to have the man trespassed from the premises, and officers are more than willing to carry that out. >> Is it this particular one or what? >> Go wherever he wants to, but he can't come in this club anymore. >> He can't come in here. So, you trying to trespass once you Yeah. trespassing. >> Okay. >> Unless you threaten violence, you're not allowed back in this club. >> Okay. >> That's cool. phone was inside of the locker. I left it unlocked for only like a few minutes to take a shower. So, if somebody went inside of the locker and stole it, >> okay, >> while I was in the shower, then it was stolen. That's good. >> You know, it's just as simple as that. Like, I had I still got to get on the highway and I don't like to put stress on my brain while I'm on the highway. >> That's perfectly understandable. Like I said, I just need you to >> Yeah, that's pretty much all I got to say. I can't find the phone. No, I was not. >> Yeah, but you left for like y'all and y'all say to me now >> that you left your locker unattended for about 5 10 minutes while you take shot, correct? >> Yeah. Not even that long. Probably like, you know, Yeah. 10 minutes at the most, but not even that long. Like I was in the in the locker room and, you know, I had the phone going inside. >> Yeah. >> Because I did a little ad machine. And I was still listening to music. Listen to the music. >> That's fine. >> You know, >> I just like saying, >> "What exactly is it you want me to say?" Cuz I don't really know what to say. >> Everything you tell me right now. >> Okay. >> That's all you That's Go. All you right on here. You're telling. Go ahead. You're telling me everything right now that you need to put on here. >> So I lost it in the shower. >> That's That's all you say. That's what a statement is. Your statement. >> Somebody stole it though. >> What? That's we're just putting out everything. Everything that you tell me goes in my report 104 and that's all it is. All right. >> Officers explained that without details about the phone, there's not much they can do. But even then, the man shows little willingness to work with him. >> I need a description of the phone. >> Okay. >> I need some description. Yeah. Like I say, this is the description of the color, make, model. Like I say, what version of it? uh you say you don't have the serial number with you right now. That's fine. If you going to get in contact with T-Mobile, they can provide you with that. Okay? We may not have it at this very moment, but at a later date, you can call up and provide that number so I can go ahead and put in the system as stolen. Until I have that serial number, I cannot mark it as stolen. >> Well, I won't have the serial number because I don't got the phone. And then I'm not even from here, brother. Like, I'm going like 90 miles towards Jackson. >> That's fine. You can stop at any >> I was just in the area stopped in this. >> Fine. message. You can go to any T-Mobile store. You can call it over the phone. They can provide you with that. All you have to do is write it down. >> I don't even know how to get to T-Mobile cuz I'm not from here. I don't know. I I mean, I got a trucker's GPS, but I don't know the address to a T-Mobile. I'm lost. Like right now, because I don't got a phone, I'm completely lost. >> I understand that. I sympathize I empathize with you on that situation. But in order for me to to move further, I need those information. Uh whether you can't get it today, that's fine. You can you can send it to us or call us and provide that at any day, anytime you when you have it. >> That doesn't have to be at this very moment. I'm just advising how you need to move forward. >> Okay? >> You get what I'm saying? So like I said, you have stuff you have to do. That's fine. I just need you go ahead and write your statement. If you want to be deported as such, I need you to go ahead and make a statement for me. Now, if you don't want to do anything about it, you want to go about your business, that's that's >> I can't go about my business, man, because I don't even know the next place to go. Like, I almost got to sit here and try to figure out what to do next. You know what else I'm saying? Far as I even know where to go. I don't even know how to move around. >> Well, I I can't help you in that situation, but I'm trying to help you in this situation. >> The officers issued a trespass, making it clear he's not allowed back at this location. And just as expected, he doesn't take it calmly. >> All right. >> So, I just need you to go ahead and just Yes. >> So, as far as them, they also want me to tell you that they they do want you trespass from you. >> Well, I'm not a trespasser. That's why I'm saying it. It got to be a serious report here because No, this is I come to this gym. I got a black car membership here and nobody can say that I'm trespassing when I'm complaining. They're trespassing you from this location. >> They can't say that I'm trespassing. I'm not being a bother. If I'm being a bo then we need to go. I need to file a lawsuit. Then >> you can do Listen, you can move forward, my man. You can move forward however you need to move forward as far as that. >> Nobody Nobody can say that I'm trespassing. That's >> not saying you're trespassing. They're trespassing you from the property. That means that you're not allowed to no longer come to this location here. >> Why is that? Okay. Well, you need to make a larger request. I don't even got nothing else to say, brother. That's it. That's all I got to say. Cuz I'm not a child, man. And I don't and I don't want to play child child children. >> Like I told you before before I interact here, you take this, brother, and and that's going to be that. You know, I got to >> if it needs to be that, >> then it needs to be a larger report than this. You know, it needs to be something else handled more than this. So listen listen let me see let me speak let me speak >> how it typically works like I told you I got called here for a disturbance now whether what took place prior to me got listen my phone >> okay let me speak you got you talked to the staff okay how have you talked to the staff they told me that you was being loud you threaten them and everything like that I don't again I >> said I was being loud or I was threatening >> when I talked to the staff this is what happened this is what was said to Offended by the accusation, the man lashes out, saying he'll take the matter to court and sue the staff who reported him. >> Okay. Now, this location, >> you need to go inside of here. Let me get this person's name. Yes, sir. >> Listen to me. >> Listen. I know my rights and I know. Evidently, don't listen to me. I'm saying this this is not a game. >> You're being trespassed from the property. That means that you're not allowed to go to this property. >> We're not going to play a tiff attack game. If if if I'm being trespassed here, then I need to make sure that I handle it in the most professional way because if I need to sue this place because they stole you, that's like somebody saying you I stole from you >> and you better not come back here because I stole. Like that's like me stealing something from you and then I tell you don't come to my house anymore. >> The staff did not misplace your phone. The staff didn't do anything to your phone. I'm inside of this establishment. >> They're not responsible. >> I got a business, too, bro. They're not responsible. I got a business with this truck. >> How are they responsible for your property? >> They're not They're not responsible. But I'm in this establishment. And while I'm standing in this establishment, on this establishment's property, >> I asked them to call the police. >> Okay. And they also advised you when they told me they advised you that they are not allowed to call the police on their phone. >> Okay. Okay. >> And when when I told them that I don't have a phone, my phone was stolen, I asked her, can she call from her personal phone because I needed the police to be here. >> And I understand that. But once again, like I told you, the way >> how how is anything like I'm not understanding cuz it's starting to seem we're very childish now, man. >> My man, I got called here for this service. Now, if you got into argument with them, I don't I was not present >> arguments, >> but that's what I'm saying. I was not present at that time. I am just a mediator at this point. They advised me they want you no longer to return to this. >> The officer calmly repeats that management has the right to refuse service. But the man still doesn't seem to grasp the point. >> That's how it is. You are not allowed to come to this particular plan of fitness. You can go to any other planet you want to plan and fitness. But that's what I'm saying. That's why I need to know that at this time I need to make a report about this time, about that person, about your your name so that I can be able to handle this in the most professional way because I'm not a child. I'm not banned from an establishment because somebody stole some from me, brother. That don't even make no sense. >> I'm not like, I'm trying to do your part. But like I said, I'm here, like I told you before, I said, "Hey, I got called here for this reason. I'm going go and address your situation accordingly, but let me go ahead and address this situation here first. So, do that, I move to your situation. So, basically, I'm working two situations at a time here. But right now, their situation that I was called here for the disturbance that that we was I got called here for. They want you trespass on this property. That's that's if nobody. Now, if you feel that's what it is, if you have an issue with that, >> I do have an issue. >> You can call corporate and address that as such. I cannot provide you no name for anybody in there. Nor and I'm advising you not to go inside this business. >> I just need to because I don't want nobody putting something in the computer saying, "Oh, he was banned from this establishment because somebody else stole his phone." >> I'm sorry. I apologize. My man say I understand that. Like I say, you have a problem with how they conducted themselves in this particular situation. You can call corporate to file a form a complaint with them. I am just a mediator in this situation when it come I got called here for a disturbance. I am just the mediator. >> Yeah, I'm the person that's calling for the disturbance. I didn't have no way to call you. >> That's that's what >> How are they saying that they don't want me in this establishment? >> Because they're the ones that called me. >> So, how is that making any sense? Okay. They called you for me. >> They already complained. The officer has remained patient, but it's clear the man is more interested in twisting the narrative than listening to what's being said. >> I'm complaining about my phone. That's not a It was no scenario that happened between me and Planet Fitness and Planet. >> We going We going around in a circle. >> You're not, brother. You're not because it's >> because you're not grasping what I'm telling you right now. You really not. I've explained to you like several times already. >> I want to make a report about this. If this is a different situation, then this is what I want to make. I want to make a situation. I need a report. You can definitely tear that up and we can start. >> So, you don't want to do anything about your phone. >> I want to do something about this. >> And that's fine. Again, go ahead. Get in get in contact with >> because I got to be able I can't be in a situation where I'm being removed from an establishment about someone else doing something to me. That's like somebody hurting hurting a farming. This is a p. This is a business. This is a private business. This is a business. >> This is a business. This is a private business. >> And I'm a business owner, so I know exactly. >> But you don't own this business. >> No, I don't own this business. >> You're allowed to trespass. >> Somebody can be sued for telling somebody, >> but I can't I'm not here for that purpose. I am here that's a civil matter. >> I am not here for that purpose. I here I am here to assist the business accordingly. The business is the one that called me for a situation that you was involved in. That's right. They called for me. I had no way to >> They didn't call for you. They called because what you was doing. >> No, they didn't, brother. No. No, they didn't. They called because I asked him to call. >> That's what I was That's what I was told. That's what I'm trying to tell you. I'm told >> you asked her to call. >> Yes. They stated to me. Yes. He called asked us to cause it. When I told him that we cannot do so, you start threat according to them. Then you start threatening them in every kind of way being disrupted to the >> What was the threat? I once again you start a threat. >> If it was a threat, why didn't they tell you what the threat was? >> Once again, it's a business. >> Exactly. If it's a business, then what was the threat? I should be being arrested if my threat was >> No, my man. You're being trespassed. You're making something like God don't like, dude. My my man, you're making the situation worse than it really is. The back and forth dragged on for several more minutes before the officer finally gave up, realizing the man wasn't going to understand, no matter how clearly he explained it. >> I can't answer that, dog. >> Way that all this stuff just came up all >> I can't answer that, dog. I'm telling you, I really can't. And I tried I tried I tried desperately explain to you, but we're we're spinning the block. >> Okay. So, the house is the me the membership is cancelled. >> Yes. So, if you want to get your membership back, >> I don't even go I'm not a member here. I'm a member in Illinois. >> Well, Planet Fitness >> black card membership >> that goes everywhere to every location. Every location. >> So, they put in this system that >> No, they didn't put anything in the system. You just said you didn't pay your $20, $25, right? You just say that. So, by you not paying >> They put in this system that I'm >> from this one. From this building, this building in Lake City, Florida, you're trespass from this building. >> Yeah. But if they say that, then that's going to be to other places. >> No, it is not. You're trespassing this one. It's just >> Why? >> Because of what you did. >> I didn't do anything, >> my man. Enjoy the rest of your day, dog. All right, Brandon. >> When you make that report, I got to get some type. >> You good, bro? I appreciate you. Enjoy the rest of your day. Like I say, I advise you of it cuz we spinning the block. We're going back in circles and I It's too early. I ain't finished my breakfast yet. Appreciate it, bro. Things could have ended right there, but instead the man made his way to the officer's cruiser looking to keep the argument going. >> So for me, you going to try to act like it's me. >> So again, like I told you, >> let's do this, bro. >> Listen to me. >> Let's do this. >> I'm going to go explain something to you. >> The business did not >> because first and foremost, you need to control your emotions with this badge in this, >> my man. Listen what what I'm telling you, >> brother. I know my rights. Okay, >> my man. Like I told you before. Like I told you before. >> And I'm not getting ready to argue. Keep your hands out of my face. >> The business did not take your phone. Your phone was in your possession. >> Nobody getting ready to act. >> I And what's And I explained it to you on multiple occasions. >> I'm clearly stepping away because I keep Don't put your hand. >> Man, listen to me. I've explained it to you on multiple occasions that like say I have a nice I said hey let me go ahead and get their situation situated situation I can go ahead and address your situation >> their situation was that I called >> you did not call them you don't have a phone to call have a phone to call >> do not have a phone to call >> so I asked them >> I told you they cannot call they >> call though >> they call for them because you caused the issue for them >> yeah I call What? What issue did I cause besides me saying >> I told you >> what issue did I cause besides me saying, >> "Hey, I need you to call the police, man, because I need you to either pull a car." >> I told you >> or I told you. Like I told you. >> Or I What did I say? I said, "Hey, either you can call the police or I need to start acting like a fool up in this." >> That's what I said. >> Start right now. You need to leave this property. Officers gave him one last out, but rather than take it, he pushed his luck, and it's about to cost him. >> You asked for a supervisor. My supervisor's on the way. I'm going I am going to allow you to talk to my supervisor like you requested, but you're trespassing on the property. I can't fix that. You're trespassing on this property. You've been advised that you're not allowed to return to this property. >> I ain't trespassing. I ain't banned from no plan of fitness. And if you got to arrest me for it, then you do what you got to do. >> Yes. Once again, so are you refusing to leave this property? >> I'm refusing to be banned from my establishment. I can't fix that when they stole something. >> I cannot fix that, my man. >> And that's just that. >> All right. So, >> I need my phone. They got my phone. I ain't even left this place. And >> I told you step over there. You want to hang out? I told you I said my man >> arrest me cuz I'm stepping on a cement, bro. >> Because this is man. >> No thorough. >> No, it's okay, bro. You straight, bro. Put your hand out your back for me, bro. >> You good, bro. Don't worry about it, my boy. Put you in cuffs. That way until my supervisor get here. We going to address it. >> I'm not going to no jail >> because I'm at Do you understand if my phone is no jail, bro? Okay. Straight. >> Is you crazy, bro? >> I know. I'm apparently going. >> Are you crazy? >> I am crazy apparently. >> Are you crazy, bro? Really? Seriously? Are you crazy? >> You You put me in cuffs cuz somebody stole from you, bro. Okay, go to other cop right there. That's fine, bro. >> Okay, so get your hands off of me. You straight, bro. Hey, take your hands pocket. Stop testing up. Take your hand out your pocket. >> We can to talk to this other cop. >> You going to take your hand out your pocket. That's where we at. Take your hand out your pocket. >> The officer gave him every chance earlier, but the patience has run out. The man's now in handcuffs and on his way to the station. >> That's where we at. >> It's good. >> Where we at? We good. I'm pushing in the back car. Let's talk to my supervisor. No, >> I don't need to be in no car. >> He's there to talk to no supervisor. My man, get your hands off me. I ain't >> My man's been advised that you trust me. >> Get your hands off me, man. You pushing me like this for for for no reason. Somebody stole my phone. >> You good, bro? Don't worry about it. Come on. I'm put you back here. >> Somebody stole my side. Come on. >> No. >> Come on. I'm put you on your I promise you I would. >> If you do, then you get sued. >> Listen. Listen. Stop. >> I'm talking. So, why am I in cuffs about my phone? >> You're not allowing me to explain stuff to you. >> Okay, so explain. >> Come on. This is my phone. >> Get in the car and we'll talk about it. >> Get in the car >> and tell everybody calm down. >> Get in the car. >> You're not about to strong arm me about my phone. >> Get in the car, bro. >> Sit down. >> What's your name? Harden. You not going to >> get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> We going to do this, though. >> Get in the car. >> We doing this. You got to man. That's fine. >> Just get in the car. Get in the car. Listen, we'll talk about all that. Sit down and talk in the car. No, you going you going to stop all the >> Get in the car. Stop all attention >> or I'm going to jail about it. >> We don't know yet. >> You going to put me on my I'm going to beat that with these. >> Just get in the car. Stop. >> Just get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> We ain't going to do all that with you. >> Get in the car. Thought you stole somebody stole from me. in security. >> Get in the car. >> Somebody stole from me. >> Do you understand that? >> Sit down. >> Somebody stole from me. Do you understand that, bro? >> Right up to the last moment, the man refuses to cooperate. >> Get in the car, bro. >> Somebody stole from me. Listen, listen. >> I don't know what to get in the car. >> Get in the car, bro. >> Okay. >> I'm trying I'm trying to be nice to you right now. >> Okay, >> dude. Get in the car and talk to me so we can figure out >> what's going on. >> Let me turn around. >> No, I'm not laying on the on the on the seats. >> Let me sit down. >> You We gave you that opportunity. Put your foot in. Put your foot in. >> Put your foot in and get in the car. >> Okay. I just said I'm trying to >> get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Foot in. Come on. >> Put your foot in the car. >> Foot in. Foot in. >> Put the foot in the car. >> Sit down and we can resolve. >> Put your foot in the car. >> Sit down and we can resolve this. >> You need a scenario. >> Put your foot in the car, man. >> Sit down. Thank you. That's all it takes. >> Get in the car. >> Put your other foot in. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> Get in the car. >> I need my phone, man. >> Get in the car. >> I'm in the car. Get in the car, bro. >> I'm not being arrested for anything, >> right? >> Nobody said you are at this point. >> Okay. So, he not about to keep pushing me. >> Well, then sit sit back. >> I'm sitting in the car. >> No, I want you to sit back with both feet in the car and then we can talk. >> Man, in the car. >> Put your foot in the car. >> What for? Put your foot in the door. >> For what? >> Just do what we say, dude. >> For what? >> Easier. >> Somebody pays me, clown. >> YOU PAY ME, BOY. YOU GOING YOUR T me then, man. >> I wish you >> back up again. >> Back up. >> Back up. >> Ultimately, he was charged with both resisting arrest and trespassing. His bond was set at $2,000 in cash. Number four, girlfriend learns the hard way that hitting your boyfriend isn't just an argument. In this next case, what started as a simple decision to go to the gym turned into a heated argument between a couple. One that ended with a call to the police. Here's what one of them told officers when they arrived. >> Nothing all day. Like it's not been six years of doing nothing. So like >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I'm married or not? >> No. >> There's a mention of a kid. Is that your fault to your guys? >> Yeah, that's why I >> Okay. So, what happened today exactly, >> man? I woke up. I've my first day off in 2 weeks. I think I've been up for a total of 45 minutes. I woke up in the morning, went back to sleep. She um she wanted to go to the gym, so I was kind of trying to be nice and you know, maybe I can go first because you're going to be in the gym for 3 hours. Her best friend lives here. Um >> lives here with you. >> Yeah. >> Okay. It's a full house in there. My brother's in there, too. >> Um, so >> what nationality are you? >> Puerto Rican. >> Yeah. >> I'm Dominican. It's the same house. >> Yeah. Um, and you know, we went through the same where she gets mad and she can hit me and hit me. Then I snap back and I leave this cuffs every time. So the same thing, man. I can't keep doing that work. I know. >> I tried to get You have the ID on you? >> No, I don't. It's in the house. You want me to get it? >> Yeah. Let's go grab it. He explained that the fight began over his decision to visit the gym first. What followed, he says, was physical violence and provocation with his girlfriend allegedly hitting him and challenging him to hit her in return. >> Where did she hit you? >> In my face. >> Which side? >> Well, this side over here. It's not All right. So, one more time. You woke up. Y Well, y'all been having issues because y'all are getting her to move out and you're pretty much done with her cuz she hasn't worked in 6 years. >> Um, today you woke up and >> she was talking about wanting to go to the gym. You were insisting you go first. And then what happened? >> It was calm. It was calm during that and then her friend wasn't ready and her friend was kind of on my side which is >> that the girl that I was with that's now that left was on my side about like going to the gym after faster and then she just kept getting upset and getting upset and then it went into I'm a piece of dad and I stink and it's this and it's that and then I'm brushing my teeth and she just kept going like you know now she was telling Benjamin who's my son you know oh he's a piece of you're just going to keep doing like yeah like we're just going to keep doing this. I was laughing because like I'm not going to pay you any mind. She kept going and you know I told her she was being and she smacked me and then her friend was like it's not even that smack wasn't even worth it. Like while I was dialing 911 I told her if you touch me I'm going to she's blocking me into the bathroom to where I can't move. >> So I told her I'm going to call the cops like I'm not going to touch you. >> Okay. Um, then she came back again. My brother had to hold her from actually coming back inside of the building. >> With a man's statement taken, officers now speak to a key witness, the woman's friend who saw the entire situation unfold firsthand. >> Um, they were like in we me and Victoria were going to go to the um the gym and then Rob was like, "I'm going to go to the gym, too." And then he takes less time in the gym than we do. So, we were I was just going to let him go first, but she didn't want to let him go first. So, then there was kind of like that spat and then they went to go brush their teeth or something or Benjamin's teeth and then they were in the bathroom together and that's kind of when like I kind of heard the yelling and like the back and forth. So, I was like, "Oh, let me leave my room and go see like what I could do." Um, yeah. And they just kept getting in his face and then he was like, "Oh, me up then." And he's like, "Well, don't test me and like hit me and like, you know, like just like that back and forth." And then he has a bit of a temper. So she kind of did like give him like this little tiny baby slap. Like it was like so soft. I was like what was the point of that but like there was >> you know like a physical >> she did hit him but just >> Yeah. Like it wasn't worth it but it was like >> I don't know. She was just really mad and like you know you try to like separate them like push them apart but like >> he's antagonizing her, she's antagonizing him and they just they neither of them walk away. >> Okay. >> Which is why I tell them all the time like you know just walk away from the situation if you can't. >> Okay. How long have you uh known them? >> I've known 13 years and I've known Rob since they've been together for like six. >> Okay. Were you with them living in New York? >> No. >> I actually live in Miami. I'm just up here cuz I'm working. So like Gotcha. Just >> What do you do for work? >> I'm an Annie. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah. She isn't directly involved, but as a witness, officers take down her information to complete the report. >> How uh do you have a set family you want care for or how does that work? >> Yeah, so it's like a is it a family friend and they have these three kids, so I pretty much I'm a night nanny, so they have a newborn. I just I come in at night and just handle that one little baby. Gotcha. >> What's a good phone number for you, man? All right, there you go. >> Now the officer moves to question the woman asking about her side of the story. before you make any statement and during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, you are entitled to the presence of a courtappointed lawyer before you make any statement and during any questioning. Any statement can and may be used against you in a court of law. Any statement you make must be freely and voluntarily given. If at any time during the interview you do not wish to answer any questions, you are privileged to remain silent. All right. So, can you give me your version of what happened, what transpired, and what what occurred? Um, so we broke up about two weeks ago and I've asked him multiple times to leave the house um because we have a contract which I cannot seem to find um with the landlord that I'm the tenant and he is just a guest and it's up to me and your other partner told me that in the Florida and so I asked him multiple times to get out. He has been antagonizing, calling me names since we broken up. Uh, just making vulgar remarks. Um, and then today I was getting ready to go to the gym and he told me I couldn't go because I don't do anything, antagonizing me. Um, and I told him that I would prefer to go now because I am working tonight. And >> what do you do for work? >> I have a nanny. I work with kids. um and it's a a new family and so I told him that and he said he didn't care. Um and then I was complaining about him to Amanda, my best friend. Um and then I had walked into the room to get our son uh get his teeth brushed and um he called me. According to the woman, the argument began when the man hurled insults at her over something minor. But that account doesn't match what officers heard from him >> because I said that he didn't brush our son's teeth last night. Um, and so I said, "Don't call me >> because he didn't brush your son's teeth." >> Because I told him that he didn't brush I I was like, "You didn't brush his teeth last night." Um, and he said, "Shut up." And I said, "Don't call me." And he said, "Haha." And I said, "If you call my time, I'm cop." Um, and then he said, "You're not gangster and I'll you up." And I said, "So me up." And he said, "No, cuz you're a" And then I went like that to his mouth. I literally just like that because then he said, "Now I'm calling the cops and you didn't even make it worth it." And my best friend said, "It wasn't even worth it." Um, yeah. And they call cops. So, >> okay, >> I understand that I'm in the wrong. It has been for 6 and 1/2 years and it has been mutually abusive. I had training nausea and I should have kept it. >> Why didn't you keep it? because he told me he had changed and I'm dumb. >> I'm also sorry. >> No, no, you're fine. You're fine. >> It's just a lot. >> I'm not judging you. >> I know. Um about a month. Um and then he broke up with me and I lost my full-time job and he has not been helpful in any aspect. um making me beg to live with him in the new place because we have to be out of this place by January 1st and I have nowhere to go and I lost my job is not even my car. So I have no transportation, no job, no money and we have to be out in 2 weeks and so I was asking him for help and he was like making me apologize for things that I were not necessary. The officer tried to explain how damaging it is for children to witness violence in the home. But instead of taking responsibility and showing accountability, the woman doubled down. She reportedly justified her actions by saying her partner is a man, so the hit shouldn't count. >> That um I asked him for help or the way that I was ungrateful because he told me to ask my stepmom if I could, who's the landlord, if I could stay here, and she said no. And I didn't want to do that because I was upset with her. Um, and when she said no, I was upset with him because he said that was the only way that I could move in with him is if I asked her if I could live here. So, it's like he's like antagonizing me, making it seem like I'm this emotionally crazy person when I'm literally just going through a list of things. Yeah. Okay. All right. Well, look, I'm I like to think I'm very upfront, an honest person myself. Um, unfortunately, I am going to have to take you for a domestic battery. Be it as simple as it is, by law, I have to. All right. just because the allegations are made, you know, along with your statement, which I I appreciate you being honest with me, >> right? >> I have no reason to lie. I know I didn't even hurt him. He didn't want us to hurt me. >> So, look, I mean, >> I understand, you know, heat of the moment stuff when we get carried away, right? But like you have your son in there walking. He wasn't in the room. >> Well, regardless, your son's in the house. Yeah. >> Right. So whether he's hitting you or you're hitting him, what you're teaching your son, whether or not he's in the room, >> kids are a lot smarter. >> I'm sorry. >> Right. >> We're teaching our kids that >> we can put hands on one another. >> You know what I mean? And >> if you're putting your hands on his dad, he's picking up. Okay. Well, whoever I have kids with can put their hands on me. >> And if dad's putting his hands on you, which I don't doubt he has, right? Your son's picking up. Oh, well, I could hit the woman I have kids with. And I'm sure that's not what we want for our kids. >> The ride to the station went without issue thanks to her cooperation. But compliance didn't undo the bad decision she's already made. >> Haven't been through it. I'm sure I wouldn't want my daughter to go through it. My son, >> you know what I'm saying? Um, >> do you have a phone that you want to take with you to to the county jail? Uh, do you want to bring this jewelry or do you want to leave it here with >> Okay, let's I'll let you go inside and take it off. Let's put your hands behind your back like you're praying. Turn it this way. Yep. That way it's most comfortable. And I'm just going to reach over you to grab the seat belt here. I appreciate your cooperation with this. The woman was ultimately charged with domestic violence. Number three, man thought drinking while working out was a good idea. Learns the hard way why it isn't. For our next case, officers were called to a gym after receiving a complaint about an intoxicated client. Watch how the case unfolds. >> It's a guy who was drunk, almost got into a fight with one of the members. Okay. Um the guy with the black shirt has the uh dreads up in the air ponytail. >> Okay. >> But he's clearly drunk walking in here with bottle in his hand. >> He don't want to leave. I try to make like the last 30 minutes and still >> the officers confront the suspect who's showing clear signs of intoxication and it doesn't take long before things escalate. >> This is your buddy. >> Okay. All right. It's time for you to go around. I'm walking now. I'm not going home. Well, if you don't want to go anywhere, >> I'm bench pressing. Okay. >> I'm We're going to We'reing >> What's up? >> I'm bench pressing. >> You're what? >> I'm bench pressing. >> You're bench pressing? Okay. >> Well, I'm going to give you another one more option to leave. >> I don't know nobody in this gym. I don't know. Why you taking my hand? >> Why you taking my hand? white [ __ ] today. >> Send me another unit. This guy >> right now. That's cool. Stop touching my hand. I didn't do nothing. You're putting in front of me. This is what white [ __ ] do. I'm not even going to lie. >> You need to back up. You see what I'm doing? You need to back up. You see what I'm doing? You need to back up. Ready? >> All right. We try to be nice, man, but that's not how it's working today, is it? >> Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Stay right here. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. Stop resisting. >> Bro, it's nothing in my pocket, bro. >> I got work in the morning and you're black, bro. Like, what the doing, bro? Bro, what happened to you, bro? >> Same thing happened to you, my man. >> Bro, you're white. >> Stop doing that. >> I got right on. Hold on. Hold on. >> With the suspect now in cuffs, it's time for the officers to take him away. However, it seems that the suspect is not going to make things easy. >> Are you serious, dude? Man, >> you're embarrassing yourself. Seriously, you are embarrassing yourself. >> VIP service. >> VIP service. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Long time ago. >> This a case >> escort. This a escort Joe. >> This American style. Oh god. Let me get some hands on that. Damn. Drake like that. Drake like that. >> Drop me, bro. Just drop me, bro. Make that like how that supposed to be, man. Then you don't act like an adult. This is what happens. That's what I do to y'all. I'm comp. >> Bro, why do I get a day of this, bro? Why? Why? >> You're intoxicated. You're not listening, man. >> Come on. >> I'm not intoxicated. >> Watch out for your head. >> I'm not intoxicated tonight. >> Come on. >> I'm not intoxicated. Please, >> take a seat. I haven't been drinking too much. >> Have a seat. >> The suspect is still making things difficult for the officers. He takes one seemingly simple action and turns it into a challenge for everyone involved. >> I've done this overd, bro. Just take a seat. >> Isaac, we're men, bro. I've done this before, bro. Please don't do this. >> You got to put your legs in the car. Isaac, >> come on. I haven't been drinking tonight. >> It's clear that you have. >> I can smell it on you, man. You got to put your feet in the car. >> Drinking tonight, bro. >> It's a fake. >> This is a case, bro. Please. >> I haven't been drinking tonight. >> All right. We're going to figure this all out, but you need to sit in the car. >> I've been trying to work out, man. >> All right. Well, you can't work out anymore. Obviously, you're not allowed in there. So, have a seat. >> I've just been sad, bro. Like, please. >> All right. We'll talk about it in a minute, but I need you to I need you to put your legs in the car. >> Under arrest >> for what? >> For trespassing. How am I trusting? >> And possibly possibly battery. So that you push somebody. >> Battery. >> Yep. >> How's that battery? >> You pushed somebody. >> Who called for battery? >> The manager. >> The manager call. >> I didn't push him. >> He pushed me. He put his hand. >> Well, then sit up. >> Your your demeanor and your and how you are is going to dictate how this goes. Okay. So, >> decide exactly what's happening, but you are under arrest. >> I've had enough. I've had enough of this, bro. >> Yeah. Okay, that's fine. You need to get in the car, though, and have a seat. Please, bro. >> Get me out of these cars. >> All right, we're done asking. Get in the car, please. >> Please give me >> No, you're not getting out of these. >> Somebody said he said we're going to swap out. Get in the car. >> Don't resist or anything. Just sit in the car. >> Have a seat. >> They'll bother me in the car. >> Sit down. Have a seat. >> B me out in the car on the day. >> Put your seat on in the seat. >> On the day of that we got in court. >> Stop resisting. Okay, >> bro. He's like punching me up like a pretzel right now. >> I'm not resisting. >> I'm not resisting. >> Simpson. Simpson. Simpson. >> Simpson. >> With the suspect finally in the police vehicle, the officers now moved to discuss how to approach the whole situation. >> There initial contact. >> We we all walk me through this whole thing. I would have preferred that you waited for me, but walk me through this whole thing. >> So So we get in here, talk to the manager. managers said he's repeatedly told this guy to leave. He's came in here with a bottle of aka. >> Okay. >> He refused to leave. He then pushed another guest in this place apparently. >> Right. >> We told We warned him like two, three times, "You got to get out of here. They don't want you in here. I'm not going anywhere." >> You told him he needs to leave. >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Instead of leaving, he goes, "I'm going to bench press. I'm not leaving." >> And then he got up in your face. >> Yeah. He was in my face. He had his hand right in front of me. So, I pushed his hand. >> He put He put his hand up. >> Stepping up in front of me. >> At that point, they got behind him, him and Eldridge. They That was it. Yeah. >> All right. To the point where we think this was aggravated assault. >> No. No. >> I would I would just do the trespass. >> It was >> potential potential battery. I don't know if the guest is still there. >> So trespass is one but failing to follow lawful orders. Do we have obstruction? >> So um besides uh that do we have enough for obstructing? >> Thank you. >> We told him to leave. >> Yeah. We told him >> tell him to get back and he walked up on you. >> Yeah. I said you need to step back three times. >> All right. And I would say that classifies as obstructing you because he's not falling off of orders and maybe even more. But enough for that. >> Yeah, I even stepped back and he stepped into me. >> Put his fingers in front of your face cuz we're not going to force that. It's fine. We have obstructing. You have trespass because he refused to get out of the business. We have battery. >> They don't know who he pushed. >> So it wasn't the it wasn't the store owner. >> All four of us are going to go back. We're going to put them in a cell and take them real quick. um leave yours running, but when we get back there, we're going to have them all running while we put them in the cell to make sure everything goes. >> We're going to let him sit in a cell and uh we can sweep off some of this if we can so he's more cooperative. Yep. >> Okay. >> So, we have battery, we have trespass, we have obstructing I'm going to take a look at your your video once we're back and once we're off and then we'll look at it cuz we're not at a charging point yet um to see what else we got. So >> after the investigation, it's revealed that this isn't the first time that the suspect received a complaint at the gym. >> He's been arrested or like been doing this at other businesses before. So really >> yeah, there's a Carol stream one from >> Was he there too? >> It doesn't say I guess he was just approaching >> women to try to get their phone number at the Geneva Carol stream. >> Okay. >> Well, that was recent. They didn't arrest him because it was a consensual conversation. >> He left when they wanted to, but obviously for some reason >> All right, dude. Hang on. All right. >> All right. Listen, listen. Listen real quick. Listen. We're going to take you out. We're going to put you in a cell. Okay. The more you cooperate, the faster this process goes. Okay? We don't want you to resist or obstruct in any way. We're just going to search it. We're going to put you in a cell. We're going to get everything done. >> Yep. We're going to get everything done, but we want you to cooperate as we do this part. Okay. >> Yeah, I know. We're going to get those off you in a minute. All right. >> Yeah, we are. So, we're going to have you go ahead and step on out. >> Who the >> Excuse me. >> The devil here. All right. Here. Okay. I'm sorry. >> Go ahead. Just face the door for me. >> What's your name? >> What can I call you, man? What's What's your first name? >> [ __ ] >> The officers conduct another round of search before finally escorting the man inside a holding cell. >> Bro, I don't have a gun, bro. Please. >> Well, short time, >> bro. Like, please. You can see the imprint. I can probably see it myself. Judge areing overly doing their part right now. Pushing my head against >> All right. Go ahead. Go take your shoes off for me. >> All right. Go ahead. Take >> Bro, why are you >> You're going down to your shorts, man. >> Stay on. >> Lucky I have right now. >> Cool. Good. Once he's in the cell, once you guys are in the cell, >> here we go again. >> All right. Do me a favor. >> Right now, please. >> You need a blanket the right way, bro. >> I don't want no blanket, bro. >> Relax, man. >> You got your hair tie. Yep. All right. >> All right. Leave me on the bed, bro. Okay. >> The man was ultimately charged with trespassing and disorderly intoxication. Number two, when mixing alcohol and exercise ends with a visit from police. On January 2nd, 2023, local police officers responded to a call about an allegedly intoxicated person who was causing an alarming scene in the gym. Take a look at what the officers walked into when they arrived. Um, what was your name, sir? >> Michael. >> Michael. >> Are you willing to provide a sworn statement of >> kind of it's just basically a brief rundown of what you just what you just told me um everything that kind of just happened and >> you know went from there. The only difference is you're going to be put under oath and you'll just explain it to me. Okay. So, so just give me a rundown of what happened. >> Um kind of what time everything happened. >> It's about an hour ago. the uh uh an hour ago uh the male that I don't know who he is, he tried to enter his code uh multiple times in the door. Then he was knocked on the door. Like I said, they have a strict no, you know, not letting anybody in policy. Um after about, you know, about a minute of knocking, he kept knocking and another patron that was sitting over here in the corner came in and uh opened the door for him. Um this guy wasn't dressed in in gym attire by any means. He walked around, walked in the corner, walked into the cage, and uh he was yelling just random random lines that made no sense. Uh like stuff like, "Welcome to the gym roll, boots on ground," like I don't know, weird stuff. And then uh he came through, put bumper weights on the on one of the barbells. He just lifted it up and just dropped it. Uh the uh one one weight went into the fence, one weight bounced off the bar, and then went into other weights, knocked other weights off. um because it could have hurt other people. There's another patron that was here. Uh he he confronted him and said, "Hey, you can't do that. It's safe." Then they got into a verbal uh yelling argument match there. And then I I was already on the phone with the owners. They said that uh his membership was cancelled. I walked over there, you know, I let him ask him uh I told him that his membership was canceled, that he had to leave. I told him uh twice that he had to leave and uh and then the cops he didn't leave until I said the cops were on the way. So he finally he finally left and then um um then he ended up coming back. He was knocking on the door trying to come in again and then instead he nobody was letting him and so he walked past and went to see him. >> That's why >> the officer now tries to give a rundown about the incident and while doing so the witness reveals more alarming things about the suspect. >> All right. So just going to kind of recap what you told me. banging on the door repeatedly over and over and over again after tried typing his code. Someone let him in. He came in, caused a disturbance here, you know, was yelling, screaming random things. Welcome to the jungle, so on and so forth. Racked some weights, lifted it up in the air, and just dropped it. One weight went into the cage, one went into some other weights. Then he got in a argument with another patron here. >> Um, is that patron present? >> Yeah. Um, >> and then you told him the cops are coming. >> I asked him leave time. He wouldn't leave. He's like, he's yelling. He's like, then he started yelling at me. He's like, "My trip's not cancelled." And I'm like, "I'm on the phone with donors right now. You have to leave. Like the cops are on the way." And then when I said the cops are on the way, that's when >> Yeah. We got two calls this morning about him driving around drunk and whatever. But >> all right, I'll go talk to him. >> At least got him before he got behind his car. >> Right. Well, he crashed into a curb and popped two of the tires. It's down at the prominades right now harbor. >> Yep. Pursuit. >> Now that the officer got the whole gist of the incident, he moves on to the next witness. The information he shares will be extremely vital to the case. >> How's it going, sir? >> So, you were getting an argument with no >> that other guy or he kind of just acting belligerent and stuff. >> The guy was here, >> right? I was over there and I dead lift, >> right? >> So you see me come in. He's he put these rubber ones on. So he lifted the it up and he just dropped it. They had told me about an obnoxious guy >> putting people at risk. >> So I was standing there and I said, "Hey, that's not safe." >> And yeah, he was a little whatever. I said, "No, it's not safe for me and the other people around me and that's why I'm saying so." Well, you and Mr. Macho, I said, "Well, you don't have to attack me personally. I have not attacked you personally." >> Right? >> All I'm saying is I want to be safe. I want you to be safe. >> That's it. >> And he was mumbling. He was saying, "I didn't pay attention to it because it meant nothing except stop doing." Well, then he ended up walking through here. There was a girl there and then he left. >> Okay. Okay. >> So, he racked some weights, lifted it up in the air, dropped it down really hard >> from here. >> Yeah. And weights kind of went everywhere. Want hit the fence. >> It tipped my tree. >> Okay. >> And knocked some weights off. >> Okay. >> My drink in my bag sitting there and knocked my drink over over there. >> Okay. All right. So, so you say something to him because it's not safe. Someone's going to get hurt, right? Understandably. >> Yeah. >> All right. I appreciate it. >> Appreciate your time. >> Wesley. >> The officer decides that it's time to confront the suspect, and his demeanor will leave you speechless. >> Sir. It's okay, James. Sir, come here. Sir, sir, you have your ID on you. >> Sir, I'm going to need your ID. After ignoring the officer, the suspect heads to the bathroom and the officer has no problem following him. Whether he likes it or not, he needs to answer their questions. >> Central 9447 investigation. >> You have an investigation? I do. >> What is your investigation, sir? >> They want you trespass in the gym next door. >> Why? >> Figure everything. >> Why? >> We're going to walk outside. >> Why? >> Because you're causing a disturbance. >> You're No, the disturbance is yours. >> Put your hands. >> You're being detained at this point. >> Cuz you're actively resisting a lawful order for us to tell you to come outside or stand up and produce your identifications. You're also refusing to identify yourself. You're causing issues. You're causing issues in the gym. You're causing issues over the gym. You're making a fool of yourself, acting like a child. >> You're detaining me for what reason? >> Uh because we're detaining you because I'm not positive we're going through all the law. >> I'm afraid you are not under arrest and I shouldn't have huffs on me. >> So you are being paid for failure to identify. Man, >> the officer now gathers with his colleagues and catches them up to speed. It's now time to make a decision on how to move forward with the arrest. >> When I got here, I asked him to produce his ID, got up, walked away from me, followed him, >> put a piss in the bathroom. I allowed him to cuz I didn't want to get pissed on. >> And then um >> tried his hands, asked him for his ID, and all of a sudden after he got >> all of a sudden after I asked for his ID, he all of a sudden had to take a crap. Are you Jacobs? >> No. Bailey, my name doesn't I want to know Jacobs. >> Okay. >> Real bad. All right. >> What's uh >> his collaboration? >> Put him in the back. >> No, sir. >> I'm sorry. >> You're going to go stand here. >> You got anything on you that's going to poke me? >> No. And uh so you uh came out to come after me. I was having a good time. I don't know why I don't know why. Something this morning somebody somebody this morning said, "Hey, got in the ring. Do we have um >> what's what's the word for it? Uh lawyers. Do we have lawyers here? >> Lawyers in the state of Florida. Yes. >> Lawyer. Lawyer. Attorney. >> Copy. How >> about you? >> I'll do so as I please. Oh. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> As the officers are escorting the suspect away, another concerned staff member approaches the officers. Turns out the man caused more trouble than the deputies initially thought. >> Is it the individual that we escorted out in in handcuffs? >> I pee all over my floor. Yes. >> Okay. Uh why why exactly do you want him trespass because of his interaction with us or is there anything else? Nope. Just the defiance of you guys going and lock putting himself in the bathroom and peeing all over my bathroom floor. >> Okay. >> Just don't want any further problems after you guys leave. >> Gotcha. >> For him to be able to come back into the location or >> Yeah. Okay. All right. That's going to conclude the statement. Time is now 1:43 p.m. on the same day. >> Now at the back of the police cruiser, the suspect doesn't hold back his words. >> Disorder nondisconduct. Yeah. I'll be right back. Be right back. No, it that's not true. No. Come on. Look. I bull looney. Come on. Look. I just paid for a gym membership last month. So, you're going to take me in on civil disorder, disorderly conduct, and you're going to book me on that? On that? Yeah. I'll be right back. Okay. >> The man was charged with disorderly conduct in public intoxication. Not only that, but he was also banned from coming back to the gym and the casino. Number one, man goes to the gym not to work out, but to harass women. Police stepped in fast. On August 31st, 2023, police were called to a Planet Fitness after reports surfaced that a man had been exposing himself outside the gym and even followed a woman to do it again. Officers arrived quickly and spotted someone matching the suspect's description. Here's what happened when they approached. Hey, >> how you doing, sir? >> Hi. >> Officer with Hillsboro. Get uh your license on you? >> No, he's my friend in >> Do you have your license on you? >> No. No, not >> you don't have a license. >> No, he's not driving. >> You're not driving? >> No. >> No, >> it's not me. >> Hills brother. >> How long have you been here? >> For crossing guard training? >> Oh, my my friend. >> How long have you been here? Not as speaking English, >> huh? >> Uh, not on this one, dog. >> Spanish. >> What's up? No, not that good, boss. >> Oh, >> what? What's going on? >> Oh, no. >> No English, right? >> No English. >> No, very convenient. >> No. Uh, it's a What's your >> my name? >> No, no, your friend's name. >> No, to Roas. >> Roas. That's you. >> Yes. What's your friend's name? >> No. Yo, Ben. >> He was coming here to work out. >> He was? >> Yeah. Yeah. He's not talking about a friend. The car doesn't come back to him. >> I didn't I didn't punch you in yet. >> No, he's No, no. >> Um >> I'm going to go see >> Yeah. See if if their cameras picked up it's this car or not. >> I I was on phone. Yeah. >> All right, sir. Were at any point were you undressed in your car? No. >> Me? >> Yeah. >> No. >> Were you >> Were you changed? Did you do you change clothes in the car? >> Clothes in the car? >> He explained that he changed clothes outside but denies any intent to expose himself or cause alarm. Officers, however, aren't convinced that's the full story. >> Where? >> I'm sorry. Where? >> Here. >> Over there. >> Yes. Uh uh. Yeah. >> Why did we move? So you moved here? >> Yes. >> And then did you change here or over there? >> Here. >> You changed there? Yeah. And then >> I'm sorry. >> And then and then you moved here. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm sorry. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry. >> No, just just hang out. We just got to figure something out. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> You remember which spot exactly you were parked in? No. >> No. >> Like which which parking spot exactly? >> Uh here. >> Behind behind this behind this one. >> Yes. >> Behind the van. >> Okay. >> You have a a driver's license? >> No. >> No. >> No. No. No. No driving. >> You know driving. So, how how did you get here? Who drove? You drove? >> Huh? >> Who drove? Who drove the car? >> You don't have a driver's license. Who drove? >> No, it's No. No driver license. >> Yeah, but who drove the car? How did you get here? >> No. >> Did you drive the car? >> No. >> No. Who? >> No. Yes. This is Yes, but it's not me. This is my friend. >> His friend owns the car. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> It' be a negatory. >> I'm sorry, man. >> Sir, do you have any identification on you? >> No, man. No. Uh, credit card, debit card. Officers attempt to get identification from the man, but he's not making it easy. He refuses to answer direct questions and won't hand over any ID. >> Something with your name on it. >> Uh, no money. >> No, no, no. No money. Let me >> flip that over. Flip it over. Or let me see. Um, bank card. >> This is not me. >> This one? It's >> not you. No, not me. No, this is not my friend. There's no no dry no dry blances. >> While officers deal with the suspect, a detective is on the phone with a victim gathering details about what letter to call for help. >> Good morning. This is Chris Peltac calling from Hillsboro PD. I'm one of the supervisors in our detective bureau. I'm calling >> Okay. Yes, this is >> um I'm just uh giving you a call. We're on scene over here on the highway. Are you able to just give me a rundown of what happened? >> Yeah. So, I was walking out of the Planet Fitness in Hellsboro and I saw like um the car like this guy in either his black Honda or Acura all the windows down. He pulled out of the spot. He was driving slowly down the same aisle that I was walking down. I got to my car. He back He went into the aisle across it. And then when I was pulling out of my spot, he was walking. He got out of his car with like still the windows down and his shorts down and like his just out like looking around. >> See if she can come back. >> Um so he hopped from one spot to the other spot and then had his whole out. >> Okay. Did uh did he ever was he like was he stroking it? Did he was he doing anything with it or is there a possibility that he could be changing or were you certain that no he this is what we're on the same page? >> This is what he was doing cuz when he got out of his car it was he wrecked. It was already out. It's not like he quickly pulled down his pants to adjust himself and fix it. It kind of like he got out of his car and it was out. And when I was pulling around, I kept looking around like looking behind me to see if he what he was doing and he was still standing in the same spot like looking just looking around the parking lot. >> Okay. Is >> clearly he's doing something if it was erect. >> Okay. Are you able to give me a description of what this guy looked like from your recollection? >> Yeah. Yeah. Um Hispanic, probably like early 30s, probably only like 56, 5'7. Um, he like a on like a gray shirt, darker gray shorts, flip flops. I don't think any facial hair. >> The suspect fits the description, but to be certain, officers ask the woman to visually confirm his identity through a show up. >> Okay. All righty. Um, may I ask where you're at now? We be able to pick you up and do a show up with this guy. It's called the show up. We we used to like to um you know we can give you a ride here real quick and basically we would do like a quick drive by with you and um okay you would be give you a ride right back and all you would do is say yep that's the guy or no that's not the guy >> he's not going to see you >> okay cuz you like you have him right now >> we have someone right now >> okay um yeah I'm so I just got to work but I could definitely do that I'm um in Bridgewater only like 12 minutes away >> all right uh could we have one of our officers give you a ride. >> Um, >> like I like I a >> ideally we would I would prefer this person to not see your car or your license plate. You know what I mean? Or you know >> and I would prefer for them to not even see my face. I would like to be >> you just you just be like in our attended car. >> The guy's not even going to see it. >> I'm okay with that. >> What What did he say? >> What? >> What did he say? He he basically admitted to changing. It's kind of hard to understand because we don't speak Spanish. Um but I just had Evans go see if there's any if their cameras picked anything up. I don't know how far back he was. Um but she said that he stepped out of the car. >> She said she said he was following her. >> Oh, he was naked following. Okay. >> All the windows down. >> All right. We're going to go we're going to go grab her. You do a a show up. >> Yeah, we're going to do a show up and um someone's sprinting this way, so we'll probably just pull up over here. >> Are you going Yar? >> No, we're going this way. >> Where she work? >> Bridgewater. >> All right. >> So, she's uh she's doing this over there. >> All right. So, we'll be back in a few. >> All right. >> Moments later, the victim met with officers at the designated location. They explained the show up process and walked her through what to expect during the driveby. >> That's kind of the whole purpose of the show up is obviously we want to make sure we do have the right person or if if we don't, >> right? >> So they're out with somebody right now and we'll go from there pretty much. >> Okay. >> And we're not going to stop. We're just going to drive by and you get it'll be on your side. Okay. >> Okay. >> Copy that. >> Oh yeah. And that's he so that's where kind of where he started to be parked. >> Okay. >> And then he had moved across. So this guy keeps going back and forth. That's definitely >> All right. So we're going to get a little bit closer. Just obviously take your time. Um don't feel rushed. >> Mhm. >> Yep. 100%. >> Okay. >> Okay. So what's your level of confidence now? >> Like no doubts. started on this side >> where right over here up cuz I parked on this one aisle. >> You were parked where where the police cars are. >> Yep. And then um I pull through to pull out and then he was parked over here cuz like I'll do like a pull through to move around. >> With the victim confirming the suspect's identity, officers move in and make the arrest. >> My name? >> Yeah. >> Jose, >> are you sure? cuz they don't they they didn't find anything on you. >> Yeah. >> This is you, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, your So, your name's not Jose. >> All right. You turn around for me. Put your hands up on the top of the car. Spread your legs. She is running back. Appreciate you. >> My guys, we're going to we're going to take the call if we get to show up. It'll just be easier. Whatever. with me. >> Yeah, it's keys. I'm going to take your hat. Put in the front seat here, boss. All right. here. >> Back all your backpack and stuff in the back. >> Yeah. >> You speak English? >> Not much. >> Not much. >> So I say translator. >> You took his name originally? >> Yeah. Let me see. >> Something Perez Roas. >> Yeah, that's not it. Yeah. >> In the end, the man was charged with public lwdness and obstruction of justice. What do you think? Did they get what they deserved? Let me know in the comments, and I'll catch you in the next video.
