It starts as a simple restaurant complaint and quickly spirals into an arrest. Family dinner interrupted by drunk and disorderly guests. On August 16th, 2024, officers responded to a local restaurant after staff reported unruly customers causing a disturbance inside the establishment. Here's what happened when officers arrived. Look at you to be in here to be a part and for you TO TELL ME TO SHUT THE and then CALL THE POLICE. LIKE WHAT? >> Do a favor. Grab the person. >> No, we don't need to talk. We do need to talk to us. >> Ma'am, he gave you a lawful order. You can go outside with us or you can go out handcuffed. You can walk out on your own and talk to us. >> You on the same thing. They on >> We're taking the situation outside. >> For I got to get everybody side of the story. >> No, ain't no side of the story. But they >> China THEY HILLBILLIES AND THEY WOMAN HANDICAP. So they think this is a fivestar restaurant that they at fivear >> restaurant. >> This one hillies. >> Ma'am this one. >> Let's go. >> I ain't got to go nowhere. >> You're coming outside too. >> You told me to go somewhere >> with my picture. You told me to go >> ma'am. I step outside. >> You told me to go. I'm going to ask you one more time to step outside. >> What? I'm over here. >> But you're instigating the situation. >> I AIN'T IN THAT. I TOLD HER to leave. >> I'm going to ask you one more time. Step outside. >> You got I know the chief and I know all of them. Wait on. Come on. >> I tried to I'm put my cover on my picture. I'll take it out. Well, I ain't got to pay for nothing. So you you take me out. So >> Oh, you you said to come back and pay your bill. >> I ain't. I bet you that. >> Okay. >> I bet you that pop me. >> I've been trying to confuse the whole situation. >> As officers approach the suspects, they're immediately greeted with a chaotic reaction. >> I've been telling HER TO HUSH. >> MY RIGHT IS THE same as his. We were sitting there and also let me make all the cheese for you. What's up? What you want? What you want with me? First off, >> lose your tone. Okay. >> Hey, listen. What's up? >> Were you instigating the situation? >> Huh? >> Were you >> I went to the whole another >> You asking me a question or no? >> When I was standing there, YOU WAS INSTIGATING. >> NO, I WAS NOT. I WENT TO THE I was at the table with them. >> Take a step back. >> Ask me. >> Waving your hands in my face, please. >> Give me somebody else to talk to cuz he don't want to talk. >> Oh, and she don't look no better. Well, unfortunately, I'm the supervisor, so you don't have a choice. You can tell the man, "Come on over here and TALK TO THEM." >> MA'AM, THEY TOLD US TO shut the and THEN CALL SOMETHING. ASK THEM. >> OKAY, BUT can y'all lower your voice? >> How can we lower our voice when we REGULAR CUSTOMER JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE, we came to sit down instead of the waitress coming, the manager telling us we were TOO LOUD, THEY TOLD us to shake, >> then they called you. >> Listen, >> they didn't call us. Yeah, they did. >> The restaurant called >> No. Okay. The restaurant called >> They told us they called you. >> Oh, YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. >> YOU'RE GOING TO JAIL. WE CALLED on y'all. >> Okay. >> So now you got several complaints AND WE WENT IN. We ain't got no >> but other than that I moved to another table. >> You got your ID? >> I went to another table. >> Ma'am, you have your ID. >> But what my ID need to be? >> I need your ID. >> For what? Because you're getting criminal trespass back here. I need your ID. >> No, they you lying. They just told me I was cool here. >> Oh, you lying. They lying. But you get my ID. >> I bet you they ain't told me I can't come here. The owner just came and said, "I went to the I left my friend." >> Now, one of the officers steps in to deliver news they're not going to like. >> Y'all got to pay and then y'all getting criminal trespass. Y'all can't come back. >> Not me. I bet you it ain't me. >> Yes, ma'am. It is you. >> I bet you it ain't. He tell us y'all need to shut on it. What on it? I bet it ain't but you get my and I'll be here tomorrow and make it seem like we just paid our money just like that and you will ain't nobody and no negligence behavior >> or anything. >> Like this is it's is >> you got your ID? >> No. >> All right. He tells me to shut the after the waitress talking to us. He can tell us TO SHUT THE >> I WAS A WHOLE ANOTHER TABLE. >> MA'AM, come over here. >> Ma'am, come over here, please. >> What's your name? >> And their wife called and they said, "OH, Y'ALL GOING TO MAKE SURE WE GO TO JAIL." AND Y'ALL WHY DON'T Y'ALL HELP HIM? >> STOP. Y'ALL GO AHEAD to calm down. >> What you talking about? >> You was accused in the restaurant. >> So you'll pay your bill. >> I guess this is the bill. >> Is this your bill? >> This is not my bill. >> That is not my bill. >> They're going to be criminally trespassed, but I mean trying to get >> because I'm like but the other lady like I I just walked up and she was just >> You don't understand the way we did the way this officer came and tried. I do understand that. Let me talk to when we come up here and we're trying to figure out what's going on and y'all are yelling and screaming >> because the off the the rusher has already came and took sides. >> Look, she listen >> I'm not her. Eventually, the suspects start to settle and give their version of what happened. >> And so the white and he said, "Y'all shut first of all, it ain't your place to tell nobody." So you you disrespecting them. >> That is not mine. >> So like that that ain't something that you do cuz it's original. >> The owner should have took care of >> the owner said they was there to take care of it. They said while the owner was there, "Y'all need to shut the up and say we're GONNA MAKE SURE Y'ALL TAKE y'all to jail." >> You don't do that. You don't do that. And I told THEM, "I'M GONNA STAY HERE till the police get here." I could have been left before y'all got here. I told them I was be here until the police get here because that's not right. Because I pay my money just like everybody else. If I'm loud, come correct me. And if I don't change that, you're right. Then then you if you don't check me and I don't change it, then you can hold me accountable. >> I'm telling her real quick, y'all need to listen. Listen to me. Listen, >> like Jose said, owner. Are you going to listen to me? >> Hey. Yes, you do. Actually, >> you touching me? >> Yes, you just body checked me. >> I knew >> I did not body check you. >> Yes, you did. >> This is wrong. He been >> back up. He came for his a >> All right. You're criminally trespassed already. All right. >> I was TRYING TO GET I'M THE ONE WHO ask her. I'm the one who tried to calm her down. Like this is wrong, man. >> Stay here. Stay here. Stay here. Stay here. >> Who tried to get her down? >> She going down. >> Why? >> Cuz she tried to bump in. She bumped into me on her way out. >> She did not. >> Yes, she did. Hey, chill out. Chill out. >> She continues making demands, but aside from one final phone call, there's nothing more the officers can do for her. >> Come on. COME ON, MAMA. >> I NEED Y'ALL can hold the OWNER HERE. Y'ALL, I AIN'T NEVER TRIED TO do nothing to nobody. >> Like, I'm up here. Like >> stop moving. >> She needs to pay. >> I don't know what to do. >> Yo. Yo. Hey. >> Listen. >> She the ONE THAT WAS CAUGHT. LIKE Y'ALL. >> OH, SORRY. >> All right. >> YEAH. I AIN'T DOING NOTHING. I TRIED TO CALM THEM DOWN. >> You have literally been defiant since I got out here. >> You have been defiant. You haven't wanted to cooperate. And you have wanted to be loud and THEN >> I WAS TRYING TO GET THEM. OKAY, >> LISTEN TO ME. And then when he was trying to talk to you, you turned around. >> HE DIDN'T TRY TO TALK TO ME. I DON'T WHAT WE TALKING ABOUT. I TRIED to >> I just went in there. The lady said no. Y'all want to take somebody to jail? >> Actually, we didn't. WE JUST >> NO. ASK HIM. I COME HERE EVERY three times A WEEK. I COME HERE THREE TIMES A WEEK. I COME HERE THREE TIMES A WEEK. Got my >> but we can't pay the bill. >> Gil, if you want to take it with me. >> Hey, y'all still got to pay your bill BEFORE YOU CAN LEAVE. >> THEY NEED TO MAKE SURE THE bill is right. They done put something on my bill. They made the bill mine. >> Calm down for a second. Okay. >> The bill going to be paid. >> She say, "Look, just that's all you got to do. Just pay the bill for you, then you can leave." >> I'm put I'm put her in the car. >> No, she's Look, I'm straight. Look, as long Look, this is the thing. Okay. So, when I walked in, she was the calmer. You you was upset, but you was the calmer one of the two of y'all. She was antagonizing the situation. >> Thanks, sir. >> Ma'am, she was antagonizing the situation. I mean, she she was egging it on. Okay. And you know, she was. >> The argument continues, but what comes next is already set. And if they don't cooperate, it could get worse for everyone involved. >> Sir, if you got disrespected, I'm sure you would have antagonized it on as well. >> They told us to shut the up and we're going to make sure y'all go to jail. I'm sorry. I don't want to put my hand. >> But listen, they told her they were going to make sure somebody go to jail, sir. >> Everybody get home. Go ahead and run and pay while I talk to her. You >> sir, they told her they were going to make somebody go to jail. >> Let's Let's step out of the road first cuz folks can't drive. Okay. >> So, look, listen. First off, okay, I understand you felt disrespected and I get that. Okay. But my thing is this. We're all adults, right? >> That's right. >> We need to handle adult situation. Correct. >> Adult manner, right? >> Yes, honey. >> There's kids in that restaurant. Okay. Are they coming? >> I I understand. Let me finish, please. Okay. I promise you. I'm going to give you a chance to talk. I prom I'm not that type of person. I'm not going to cut somebody off. Okay. So, look. This is where I'm at with it. There's kids in that restaurant. If y'all had a disagreement or you felt some type of way, the best thing to do would be to either a wait till we get there. Don't say nothing to them. Speak cal and more especially if you speak calmly to us, then we can understand what's going on in the situation better. >> Her property is not Can you sign this, please? This is the criminal trespass. >> My hands behind my back. >> I'd wait till I get to jail. >> I'm saying if you if you're going to sign it, I'll sign jail. But are you going to sign it? So, I need to know now. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> I mean, can I sign? >> Yeah. I'll show when you get to jail when you get your handcuffs under. Yeah. >> Listen, can I talk to my mama? >> I'll roll your window down. Give me one second. Okay. Once I roll your window. >> The case ended with a group being trespassed from the restaurant with one of them also getting booked and charged with obstruction. How one clogged toilet at a restaurant ended with arrest. Next up, officers are dispatched to a restaurant after receiving a report of an ongoing battery. Upon arrival, they're immediately met with a chaotic situation. You don't want to miss this case. >> I got five black females running TO THE BUILDING. HEY, COME BACK. POLICE. WHICH ONE WAS IT? >> HEY, ALL Y'ALL GET DOWN. >> GET DOWN. >> GET OVER. HEY. >> Come over here. >> This place so ghetto. Like irritated. Bro, it's unknown females, but I'm 1025. I got them all over the point. >> Good night, girls. The police be quiet. Send it on the curb right now. She hit my sister. SHE PUT HER HANDS ON MY SISTER. >> OKAY, WE'LL figure it out. GIVE ME ONE SECOND. >> SIT DOWN. JUST SIT DOWN. >> Are you calling? PAPA. >> HELLO. CAN YOU PLEASE SEND THEM? >> ARE YOU WITH THEM OR WHAT'S >> OKAY, I'll come in. Okay, I'll come talk to you. PLEASE. >> MOMMY, YOU HEAR ME? >> MOMMY, WE JUST GOT A FIGHT. >> WE JUST GOT A FIGHT. >> HEY, HEY, HEY, >> SHUT UP. RELAX, >> RELAX. >> Who has IDs? I need everybody's IDs. As one officer works on collecting IDs, the rest move into the restaurant to hear directly from the staff about what unfolded before they arrived. >> Good evening. What's going on? >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Bring you to >> Sure. Yes, ma'am. >> So, they were here after they closed and everything. They were destroying bathroom. So, they asked them nicely to leave. I don't know what she said. destroying like they went in there first but might like clogged all of the toilets the toilet paper and they were the only ones here so no one else could have done it and then I went after we cleaned it and she was in there again and I checked in and she did it again. >> So what sparked this entire thing they did just get pissed off because you asked police or >> I think so because they they hadn't said anything they hadn't complained about anything before that I know of or I don't think they about anything. Um, but they had uh they gave the server $100. This isn't relevant. I mean, but they gave the server $100. The change was 10. The bill was 90. And then they took all the change back. So, they knew that we weren't going to get tipped. It was whatever. They were staying here forever. We had already closed down early because we were so dead. >> The open sign was off. We turned the music, the TV's off, everything. And we were just going to let them sit there for a little bit. And then the the back plane thing happened. >> So, they went to the bathroom. >> Yeah. I was the one that went I noticed there was like a bunch of toilet paper in there and I didn't know if I should clog it cuz it was that much and I didn't want to clog it >> but they purposely >> then I looked in the other stalls and there was just paper on the floor paper towels just trash >> and I asked Jay like you need to look showed her no that's >> and looked and then she said if they go back in there again just let me know and I'll see and one other one in walk out the first. >> Yeah, I went the second time and I went cuz I saw that she rented the bathroom. So, I was like, let's see if they do it again because >> So, you clean it up. So, after the first time you clean it up, >> I didn't ask them. >> But when you found it, you clean it up, right? >> Yeah, they cleaned it up and then I went back and then someone went in from their table again and I went in there at the same time as her. She left before me and then I went just peaked in the stall and she did it again. So, then I let Jamie know. Based on her account, Jaime is the other server involved and tensions rose when she entered the scene. She's the one who allegedly became the main target of the group's anger. >> And Jamie is older than me, more mature. I don't like talking to people about this kind of thing, so I asked her to. So, she went to the table. I didn't hear anything she said to them. I know she was talking to them. I was looking on the cameras fine at hers. And then I hear them yelling in the office area and I heard them yelling. So, I peek out. I'm like, "What's going on?" Whatever. I don't go up to the table or anything. And then the second I go, I hear them yelling, I turn around and I turn back around and they're throwing chairs and >> Yeah. I couldn't see every single person, but I saw from what I could see from that door, there was a few of them. And then I came out, sorry, >> I came out here and they were all thrown. Every single one of them, they were all chairs. >> Like the minor, she's a minor. I think she's 17. She was on the ground. I think she was trying to help. I don't know. But she ended up on the ground in between those chairs and I saw a chair get thrown on her. >> I don't know who did that. >> Get bad chair. >> I saw a chair on top of her trying to lay on her back. And then I heard glasses get thrown. I'm assuming it's the mugs and the salt shaker. >> They're all going to jail tonight. >> And then I just ran and called them. I >> did. You see if you could put a chair on the minor. >> I didn't see. >> Yeah. Do you think she would know if she sold them? >> Are you hurt? Good. >> I'm okay. I'm hurt. >> But someone put a chair on you to hit you with a chair. >> I don't even know what happened. >> I just saw everything flying. >> I went over to get Jamie because all five of them jumped on top of Jamie. The one in the purple. >> Her jumped on her. >> She was like I couldn't see Jamie. All five of them were on her screamed and they were hitting her and then they started throwing chairs, throwing everything. I went in to get Jamie out and all three of them started jumping on me and like hitting me and stuff like that. And I >> You want to press charge the battery? >> You want to press charge the battery? >> I press charge. >> It's up to you. >> While the staff hesitates on pressing charges, the officer steps in and advises them on the next step. >> You got to have to leave. >> You're going to have to Well, okay. How leave. >> Okay. So, we're going to have to call the parents, tell them what's going on because we're a minor. All right. and she's doing a prosecute, which I'm guessing if you were my daughter, absent freaking >> So, call mom and dad. Call someone to come come down here for me. Um, >> there I'll come. My mom's out of town right now. >> Okay, we'll call someone. They doubt it. Somebody else. Um, so battery in this orderly conduct. M. >> Um, >> give me one second. I'll be right back. >> It should mainly be this camera. I don't have anything for the bathroom. >> All I have is the door. >> I just want to see like if anything that area. Oh, so they Oh, can you go back? >> I can't. It lags. Jesus Christ. >> So, it looks like So, basically, they have 31st punch at you. That's what it looks like. >> It was the one with like the yellow. She was the one that like initially as she was getting up, >> she threw >> one threw a drink and then she came >> just one after. >> Yeah. >> So, I watched camera footage. They instigated it. The employees still call me um cuz the invest bathroom's up. They get up to leave. One threw a drink at her. >> Threw a drink on who? The employee. >> The employee. >> The one with the purple shirt. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> And then once struck and all the hell recruits after that >> and then from there >> from there it was just a free. >> Okay. >> Um they attacked a 17-year-old as well. >> Okay. >> So all of them as far as I'm concerned 15. They're all DOP in there. >> They're all >> And that's what the video shows, right? They're just basically the video shows them as the primary aggressors. >> Okay. >> They threw drinks on the girl. They attacked her and when the other police came to break it up, attacked them as well. >> Okay. >> So, if you want to go and watch a video for yourself to confirm that, that's ahead. But from what I saw, >> with the staff's side covered, the officer turns his attention back to the suspects to get their perspective on the incident. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Can we talk to you about what happened inside inside the restaurant? >> I can't wait. >> Will you talk to me about what happened inside the restaurant? >> Can I talk to you about it? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. So, what happened? >> Okay. So, we sitting down. >> It's like 9:50 something. >> Okay. >> They they closed at on the thing online, which she said it closed at 11:00. >> Okay. >> So, we just sitting down talking. I have to go use the bathroom. >> Okay. >> Every time I use a public bathroom, I always put toilet paper on the toilet. >> Okay. >> So, when I was done, I flushed the toilet, but I walked out. I didn't know that the toilet didn't flush or if it got clogged or anything. >> Okay. >> So, I went to go wash my hands and then I went out to go sit back down and I guess a worker that was in there. >> I guess she went in the stall that I was in and said, "Oh, that we clogged the toilet or whatever." So, she came out and she was like, "Oh, since we're closing, I'm going to have to ask y'all to leave." And one of y'all >> clogged the toilet because I know that one of y'all one of y'all was just in there, >> right? So I saw my sister, she was like like you didn't even have to come out here like that. That was rude. >> Okay. >> And then I was like, "Okay, wait a minute. That was me." But I didn't know I flawed the toilet because I just walked out. >> Okay. >> So she want to say, "Oh, get out. Get out." Start screaming. And then we're as we're leaving, getting up. She grabbed her keys. As we were leaving, getting up. >> Mhm. >> She wants to push my cousin Jasmine right there. >> Which one? >> In the middle. >> Okay. She pushes my cousin Jasmine. >> Mhm. >> We're family, so why are you touching my cousin? >> There was no reason to even touch her. She's over here yelling, screaming, throwing stuff. And then all the other workers came over here fighting us. One, some man in in there, threw my sister on. They grabbed her and threw her. >> Okay. >> Throwing chairs, hitting me in the face, hitting my sister in the head. >> Mhm. >> Throwing chairs, throwing drinks, throwing bags, all that other stuff. Contrary to the staff's account, she insists they weren't the ones who started the fight. And she clearly has more to say. >> Then we're all on the floor getting our stuff. She >> Somebody, >> the one here, Julia. >> Okay. >> Somebody threw something in her eyes. She can't see. >> So, we we don't know what's going on. Then they tried to lock us in there talking about over calling the police. Calling the police. >> Okay. So once we open the doors or whatever, we start running to our cars. >> But then that's why him and some other police came, so we just stopped. >> Okay. >> But we didn't do anything until we were about to leave. >> She was the one causing the problem. She had no right to put hands on anybody. >> All them people. It's only five of us and it's a bunch of them plus men. They're strong. swinging us around, throwing chairs, throwing drinks for what reason? I'm confused. >> Okay. >> All right. So, you're saying that the servers want to attack you all first? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I'm pretty sure that's what happened because that's exactly what happened. >> With that, the second suspect begins giving her version of events. >> Do you want to speak with me about what happened inside the restaurant? >> I want to speak. >> Yeah. I'm going to answer my questions as to what >> was I sorry, I can't hear you. >> Okay. Do you want Will you answer my questions? >> Okay. Yes, I will answer your question. >> All right. So, just what happened? Just give me a a rundown. Okay. >> Play by play. >> So, we're in there sitting horse eating. >> Hey, then we're sitting in there after we finish just talking >> and nobody came to us and said like can't sit here for a minute or we have a limited of time at the table, >> right? >> So, we're sitting there, we're talking. It's probably 9:30. M >> a girl with a purple shirt, she comes up to us and she's like, "We need to we need to go cuz it's closed." She said that um we're closed and we need to go because somebody [ __ ] it. >> Okay. >> And sorry, my >> Okay. >> She said that we need to go and somebody [ __ ] me for the she said something else. I don't know exactly what she said after somebody clogged the toilet. But my response was we were sitting here this whole time. Nobody went in the bathroom to clog the toilets, >> right? >> And she said that she knows it's us that we clog the toilet cuz we the only ones in there. My sister, I think the girl that she was talking to before, she said she was in the bathroom and she did use toilet paper and she said that she didn't know that it didn't go down. So, she admitted that she did clogged the toilet. Whether she knew or not, she clogged the toilet. And then the girl started getting all out and whatever the case may be. I don't know exactly what she was saying. As of right now, I don't know. >> She was saying stuff and was like yelling and stuff. So, our response, yes, he was getting loud. not like loud and all in her face, but he was responding to what she was saying like you're >> an employee where the customer is like kind of put us like respect us. >> You don't have to come to us that way. >> The medics show up as requested, but the officers first need her to complete her statement. >> Remember we were telling you if you want to call back later, you can. This is the sign just saying that if you don't want to go right now, but change call. We'll come right back. Y Thanks, man. So, responding to what she was saying, we're going back and forth. Yes. And then she said, "We need to leave. If we don't leave, then she's going to call the law." So, we're like, "Okay, we don't want no trouble or whatever. Nobody wants >> to go to jail." >> Hey, man. Stop. >> Shut up, man. Get away. >> Nobody wants the cops caught on them. So, we're getting up, gathering our stuff. One side of the table leaves already. They're already walking up >> and my side of the table is legal and the girl with the white shirt as she's getting up, the purple girl, the purple, the girl with the purple shirt pushes her. >> Okay. >> So, it probably wasn't like >> pushes who? Your sister. >> The one with the white shirt. >> Okay. >> She pushes her. >> What's your name? >> Jasmine. >> Jasmine. Okay. >> Yes. Pushes her. >> So, Jasmine gets pushed. >> Jasmine gets pushed. So Jasmine is reacting. Before anybody else could even do anything or say anything, the whole kitchen starts coming out. >> So at this point, if we didn't do anything, it would have been them jumping on her. So we're trying to de deescalate defending her and stuff. So that's when the situation got >> it was men like everybody in the kitchen was involved. >> All the employees, >> all the employees was involved. They came behind in the kitchen before anything even like really went down. They came behind from behind in the kitchen and that's when it escalated. >> I got a chair thrown at my head. >> People got stuff thrown in their eyes. It was just like things getting thrown around and at that point it was just like what's the point of continuing fighting? So we're just like okay we're >> like it's no point of continuing to fight. We're all grown adults, >> right? So, we're trying to leave and they're like, "Oh, we're not going to let you leave." And they locked the door. >> The accusations keep coming and it seems the suspects don't realize that the restaurant has CCTV footage that captured everything that unfolded. >> I don't know if that's like they supposed to do that. Are they supposed to lock the door? >> I'm asking. It depends on the circumstances. >> So, they locked the door and they're like, "They're not letting us leave." So, we got out and then that's when the car hit. >> Okay. >> So, >> all right. Um, is there anything else you can think of that might I might have forgotten? A little detail. >> I probably forgot words. >> Okay. >> Not the action. I just know stuff was being thrown. Everybody was involved in the fight. >> Okay. Okay. All right. All right. Um, that's fine. Okay. Few checks you out, make sure you're all right. Got a bump on your head. >> Okay. All right. Have a seat with your family over there. Give me one second. All right. >> With parents now on the scene, one officer takes responsibility for bringing them up to speed about their child's current predicament. >> So, here's here's the problem. And I've gone I personally went in to review the video and everything like that so we could get an unbiased opinion on on the whole situation. Yes, they came here, they ate, they paid. That's that's not a question, right? The the problem is is when I guess when they asked them to leave, and I'm not saying that they just come up and say, "Can you please leave?" I'm not saying that they said that, okay? I'm not saying that they weren't rude. I can't say that. All I can do is take their statements and take their statements cuz the video does not have audio on it. Okay? So, I can't say that the the waitress wasn't rude when she came up and said, "Hey, we're closing. Time to leave." Okay? I can't confirm that. They say she was rude. They say no. So, we're going to just sort of leave that as is right now. So, she came back through the drive-thru. We passed her her fries and then she said she wanted her money back. Okay, we're short staff. I said, "Okay, give me a second and we're going to get you your refund." She goes and goes and goes. So, one of my employees then states, "Give us a second. We're we'll get with you. Just give us one second." And she just goes to cussing and she was like, "Um, basically going back and forth. Shut up." And all this other stuff. So, when I got to the window, she was still going. I said, "Ma'am, how may I help you? How may I help you?" She kept going. >> Whoever stands for telling her, "Shut up." >> The t make sure we run, please. >> Say one more word. She pul she grabbed her purse. She reached in there. I just seen the handle of it. I just the rest of us just got away from the window and went towards the back of the building where does her window. So that's when she sat there and she drove around. She come on inside. I said, "Give me a second. I'm going to get you your refund, but you're not allowed in the building." It was her and the guy at this point, but she didn't have her bag on her. >> Not sure if she had in her bra or if he had on. I said, "Give me a second. You're not allowed in the building." So at this point, I'm on the phone with you guys and I'm locking the doors. And she drives back around and she's like laying on the horn. I'm not going to go to that window. I know you have a fire arm. So >> you never saw You actually never saw a physical handle. >> I seen the handle. >> You saw what you think might have been. >> But we can say that his >> You didn't actually see the actual handle. >> The actual What's No, I was >> She went >> She went in her purse. >> You saw a handgun. >> She went in her purse. >> I I ain't going to say, but she put it in her. >> That could be anything. It could be a wallet. Right. >> We didn't actually see a gun. >> The officers begin working through the key details of the report, knowing the outcome will depend on exactly what the suspect did. >> Right. >> I seen a I'm not going to say the actual gun. I seen a handle. What I figured was a firearm. >> What you think is a handle, but you can't you can't determine if you hear? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, she never pointed anything at you. No. It's all assumed that she had she didn't know. Did she make any threats to hurt anybody? Did she? She said, "Say one more mic word." And >> And what? >> And when she reached in her bag, the rest of us got away from the window. >> She made no threat to arm anybody in there. >> Oh, she told her she'll um beat was coming in to beat her. >> She said she >> And was that after the doors were locked? >> After the doors were locked. I was locking the doors, but she got to the front door before I could get actually out here to lock the doors. Let's start 54 for add assault. >> A disagreement happened. She went into her purse to what you feel looked like maybe was a weapon. Correct. >> That point you closed the windows, locked everything down and but she never actually presented any weapon. >> Correct. >> At you specifically anybody in here. Correct. And the only threat that she made was to beat somebody up. Was that while the door all these doors are locked? >> It was while at the window. So in her car. >> It was in the car at the window. >> Right. So that's that's that's the totality of the story, correct? >> Oh, well, she spat on me before she >> she spit on you. >> Yeah. >> Did it actually land on you? >> Yeah. She was trying to spit on her, but I'm literally at the window trying to >> at the window and then she spit on you. >> Yes. I was trying to diffuse the situation like, "Ma'am, how can I help you?" She wasn't focused on me. She was focused on her behind me. And when she spit, it landed on me because I'm at the window. >> Like an actual intentional spit on it was intentional. It was intentional. Oh, yeah. >> Where did it where did it where did it hit? >> It landed on my arm. Yeah, it landed on my arm. But at this point, like when she did it and she grabbed her bag, so >> it's didn't hit me in my face or anything. So, I wasn't making a big issue of it. Hit my arm. >> Your right arm? >> Yeah, it hit my right arm. >> Okay. And do you want to press charges for her spitting on you? >> Oh, yeah. I can do that. >> With charges on the table, the officers gather her statement and ask for evidence. But what they uncover next immediately raises the stakes of the situation. >> Okay. All right. But she as she said that say one more as she went into her back. >> Yes. And my thing is y'all get away from the window. I'm backing up and we everybody just went away from the window. >> Gotcha. Can you write statement saying that? And then can you also get a statement? And is there a video by any chance? >> Okay. Can we get a copy of that if we send you a link or something? Actually, do you have the DVR on site? I can go in the back on the computer if you want to come back. I'll go back and watch. Yep. She just >> Yeah, I guess they victim drive. >> Right. Right. But still put her in fear as she was driving that bag. And sure enough, there is a gun in there. So, it's ridiculous. >> Uh the serial numbers in the narrative. It's hard to see. >> This one's kind of on a bad angle. >> That's right. >> And it's sideways. >> Great charger, right? >> Yes. Well, one was trying to get her her order and then I had There she go. >> Okay. >> Not very good. >> All right. >> Uh, do you have stuff for her to fill out >> here? They're going to have a statement. I'm going to sit here and watch this while you statement. >> I got a problem for you somewhere around. >> There's no sound on these cameras, right? >> No sound. >> She pulls around to the side door. She goes over to the side door, locks the side door, says you guys >> and um I guess they're outside the whole time until the cops show up. >> Can you just by the way she was acting got too concerned when she started reaching around she shut the window up. Meanwhile, the suspect continues trying to portray herself as the victim, even bringing up her children, unaware of the evidence already working against her. >> I don't want you too rough. >> What? >> He's very rough. He don't even care that I was pregnant. He was pulling me in. Please tell me I'm >> We'll go with him. >> All right. >> He's like the nicest one. >> No, he ain't a >> How far along are you, man? Six. Uh, are these too tight for you? >> Uh, no. My Uh-uh. I got crimps in my back in my butt. >> Would it be better if we had two? You had two. I have more room. >> Uh-uh. It's okay. >> Okay. So, you obviously have nothing else on you. No. It's just like a dress. >> Yeah. Yeah. I don't got >> nothing in the hair. Nothing like that. >> No. Now, let me let me ask you because when you go back here, you're going to be sitting like this. >> It's fine. >> So, you don't want extra extra room. >> All right. >> If it comes too much, let me know and I'll we're going to try to adjust them for you. >> Oh my god. >> See what I'm talking about? >> This one's a lot a lot more tighter. If it gets too tight, you can you can position yourself like that. So when your face is facing this way and your back is that way, >> you might have a little more room back there. Okay. >> I'm going to just put this seat belt over you. >> Sorry. I don't want to reach over. I'm need to reach over like this. >> Sorry right there. There you go. All right. He's just going to read you something real quick. >> Um, well, I got a handcuff. >> Keeping her pregnancy in mind, the officers proceed carefully as they prepare to question her. >> No, she's got my handcuffs on. >> Yeah, we'll give it back to you. >> I don't I don't believe it. Last person said last person that said that. I haven't seen my handcuff. I don't I listen, >> she's she's she's already pregnant. >> No problem. >> First first thing when we get out of VRC, I'll find you. submarine constitutional rights, Miranda warnings. >> Uh, you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? >> Yeah. >> Oh, >> is it that you say yes or no? >> Well, I'm sorry. I was paying for some. What you say? >> So, you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? >> Uh-huh. >> So, you want to tell me what happened today? >> Hormonal pregnancy. >> These people had me waiting for a long time for my food. So, when I ordered it, I asked for it to be fresh. So, I came back around because it wasn't fresh. They told me to pull to the front to wait. I was waiting for 10 minutes. I pulled back around. I said, "I just don't want the food no more. They can keep it. Just give me a refund." And the girl started talking to me. So, then the manager came. She was telling me I had to come inside. I was like, "I'm pregnant. I'm tired. I'm not trying to come. I wouldn't have did through the drivethrough. Why you just can't process the refund through the drive-thru?" So, then the manager came. She said she was going to process the refund. Everything would have been fine. But the other little baldhead girl started calling me and talking >> and she pissed me off. We have a coach. >> What happened between you and I guess the manager at the window? >> At the window or the door? >> The window first. >> India. I was going to be in India. I need everybody to go over there and take over for Kilo please. >> At any point did you open your door? >> Yes, I opened my door because they locked the window and I was banging on the window and beep beep my horn and telling them just give me my money so that I can go. >> But she was trying to pull the other lady to the back so to stop our altercation. Find a kilo unit that uh doesn't even spit on her at the >> I didn't spit on her. I spit on my car. I spit out the window and it got on my car. So I know it didn't land on her. The spit is all going down the window. >> Yeah, I saw the video. That's what I'm asking. >> Yeah, >> I didn't spit on her. It got on her. An immediate denial once again, but the officers are already aware of what happened through recorded footage. >> Well, I didn't mean to spit on her. >> When I looked at the video, you directed your spit toward her. >> No, not the manager with the blue shirt. >> No, the >> the other girl. That's what I'm saying. It didn't touch her or the manager. It got on my car on the on my driver's side. >> Okay. >> And when you was reaching in your purse, what was >> I was so already so pissed off, but I didn't I I wasn't trying to spit on that lady cuz she didn't do nothing to me. I can't even say she did. She was literally the calmst one saying she was going to process my refund. It was the other lady talking that made me mad. >> Okay. And what was what were you looking for in your purse when you was reaching in your purse? >> I didn't reach in my purse. >> I did not reach in my purse. I brought the whole purse. I didn't reach in my purse. >> I'm asking you questions cuz I already saw what I saw. >> Okay. But what did you see? >> I'm asking you what were you reaching for in the purse? >> What's in my purse? What were you looking for? >> I didn't look for anything cuz I never went in my purse. I grabbed my whole purse. That's what I'm trying to tell you. >> Okay. >> She keeps denying all allegations against her. But by now, there's no avoiding what comes next. >> I didn't reach for anything. I'm not stupid. Trust me. >> What happened after that? After >> nothing. I She told me to come around to the front. Then she locked the front door and said I couldn't come in here. So, it was another girl pulling up trying to get her food exchanged as well. And I'm like, this nasty behind food. I drove back around to come back to the drive-thru to see what was taking so long to process my refund. And then that's when y'all pulled up. I wasn't going to go nowhere. I already knew what time it was. I told them I said they stalling me cuz they ain't going to call the police. But if I'm going to go to jail, it's going to be for a reason. I'mma beat that girl for talking calling me out my name. She had no reason doing none of that. After I explained, just give me my money. I'm pregnant. I'm not coming inside. If I would have came inside, it would have been a whole different altercation. Trust me, I don't want to go through that. I'm not dumb. I would never put my child's life in jeopardy about $20 or a ghetto working at KFC. >> All right. Well, you'll see. I don't know if anybody told you the charges are battery against her. So, that's what we're going to jail for. >> For what? >> Battery. Cuz he spat on her. >> So, >> all right. Is there anything else you want to say? >> No. Hey, is that uh too tight around your belly? So, I do need to speak with the guy who said they kissed. >> The gentleman of forehead. Um, >> let me see if he's going if you don't mind. Let me just stop. I mean, even if it's just for a second for him to verbally tell me yes or no, then I'll be good. >> I need to get >> Why do we get cold here? Why are you wet? >> Me? Because she threw drinks on me. >> It quickly becomes clear this isn't their first encounter with law enforcement. But she has no one else to take care of her. >> I I get that. >> All right. So, don't worry about it. >> Well, I have to now. So, what happened inside? >> Oh, please. There's no reason for you to worry about it. It this is what it is. And she needs someone to help her. And I'm the person. So, you know, every once in a while she gets a little crazy. She has Alzheimer's and we all know, you know, that's just a dis a recipe for disaster. >> Mhm.
