Officer Josh Middleton with the Hazen Arkansas PD was on patrol when he attempted to stop this yellow Dodge Charger for a minor traffic infraction. Since driving forward isn't working, the suspect decides to throw his banged up yellow Charger in reverse. >> I've done pitting him twice. He keeps spinning around in this dirt. >> Despite being held at gunpoint, the suspect refuses to give up. He revs the engine and spins his tires, desperate to break free from the officer's car. The Charger struggles to maintain control as pieces keep flying off. >> And that's it. >> He's already hit me twice. >> At least the junkyard won't have much work to do [music] when this chase finally ends. >> I took him off. >> You get YOUR ASS BACK. GET OUT. >> I KNOW. WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP? >> I got felony fleeing and a whole bunch of other charges. >> When officers asked why he ran, he said it was because he usually gets away.
