I know who I know she is. She was coming down before you got here, though. That's all That's That's all right. Almost there. No. Okay, come on. Come down here. Hey, Michelle. Can you go see if she wants to press charges? Huh? For trespassing? Yeah, go see. We're going to go this route. I'm just letting Time is ticking, and before the officer can escalate the situation, he needs the store's decision on pressing charges if she refuses to go. Hey, you want to press charges if she won't leave? What's that? PERFECT. YEAH, SHE WANTS TO PRESS CHARGES. Press charges. All right, ma'am. You are trespassing on this property, are you? Okay. If you fail to leave this property, you're going to be arrested arrested for trespassing. Okay, this is not your way. You have to leave right now or you're going to be arrested for trespassing. She's made it clear she's not coming down on her own, and so now the officers are weighing their next move. And if she doesn't respond soon, they're ready to Ma'am, you need to go down. No, I got Gonzo with me. All right, you need to leave this way. If you do not leave, you are subject to arrest. This is your last and final warning. Last and final warning. You need to put your stuff down. You need to get down. There you go. Someone does trespass. She eventually makes her way down without resistance, but let's just say it's far from a graceful descent. Yeah. Yeah. Can you get down? Watch your step. You're going to fall. You're going to fall. Please do not hit your head on the I know you're going to punch yourself. This is exactly why you got to go to the car. This is exactly why you got Get down off this stuff. Like go and figure me out. Go and This is exactly why I got to go to the Especially you. Did not. Okay. And you're a liar and you need >> Okay, ma'am. I understand. >> You need to um I That's none of that's happening. What's going to happen is you need to go look at the cameras and the reason why I was even on the roof is because that girl put her hands on me. Okay, ma'am. I listen I just wanted to let you know that this is going to be in your property, okay? Do you understand what a trespass warning is? Do you know what it means? Do you know what it means? Yes or no? Um Let me just explain it to you so there's no confusion. All right. This trespass means that you're trespassed from this property or it's going to be valid for a year. The woman at the center of it had allegedly tried to take her Cadillac by force after being denied its release. With that, the officers arrived on the scene fully alert and ready to assess the threat. She's where? There's some Was somebody shooting? You want to roll over on your side and sit up on your butt? My office has been calling this guy to tell him to release my vehicle. They improperly towed my car. You got a zero? The documentation is right here. You got a zero? Both the woman and her mother now claim no shots were fired and that no gun was ever displayed, directly contradicting what the staff reported. The documentation is right here. Hey, my man, back up. >> hands on me. I didn't do anything to him or point at him any kind of way. He put his hands on me and I wasn't doing anything but taking a pictures of the stuff on the wall in here. That's my mom. She brought me up here. This is not This is what I called for. Oh, so you're related to her? What happened? You're related to her? That's my mother. Y'all did not have to jack me up like that. This messing with the people outside the store, sir. Then I I just seen her coming up here to get her car and I just seen him run up here and close the gate. But what happened with Uh who? The gun. Ain't nobody pull no gun. That's what they said. You know, everything's recorded. No, MY MY MY MY DAUGHTER IS SECURITY. SHE SHE ALWAYS SHE said that she she shot at them. No, she did not. I was sitting right here and ain't nobody had no gun shot. Ain't no gun shot took off or nothing. That's a lie. That's a lie. My my my my daughter I just brought her from her job to come here to get her car. That's all. >> Did she ever take it out? No. I mean, cuz honestly, they they saw the gun and there's a gun in her purse. So, that's Because she got to open her purse up, don't she? That's when they finally seen it. Other than that, my daughter didn't come up here to pull no gun on nobody. Okay. Yeah, she's she's she she have license to carry. And the thing is, she ain't come up here to pull no gun. She got the money to pay for her her thing and everything. Okay, give us a quick second. We'll try to sort it out. I got my gun in my bag. He put his hands on me and I told him to take his hands off of me and yes, I did take it out. I have to write to defend myself. He is a big guy. But I I didn't even have my hand on the trigger or anything. I just asked him do not put his hands on me again. While the woman puts the blame on the staff, officers concentrate on keeping her composed and staying on track with the investigation. No. He didn't have to goop me up like that and then y'all get here and goop me up like that. I'm a female. That's when they finally seen it. Other than that, my daughter didn't come up here to pull no gun on nobody. Sure didn't. I had my office on the line. I had I was showing him the documentation. They say they towed my car. Yes. They said they Hey, stay seated. Nobody asked you to stand up. I I have to use the The ground is hard. Sit down. But yeah, I I seen her bag, so of course you will see it if you if she opened it up and whatnot. She ain't come up here to pull no gun. Okay. Yeah, he ain't got to tell that lie. Is your ID and everything in the purse? Ma'am? It might be in my my badge. Do you want me to grab it? No. You don't have permission to go in my purse, sir. Well, I saw the gun, so right now You saw it because you just shook my purse up and opened it and I'm I'm done talking to you. Next time do what you're told and the whole situation would have gone a whole lot different. You don't rush me. Don't rush me. I have a pellet I have a into my client and I have this thing in my arm. Okay, so you you're you're carrying a concealed firearm, so I need to see if you have a permit I have one and you can read it ON YOUR COMPUTER. NO, you need to carry it with you. It's in there. It's in You have it with you? It's in there or it's in the vehicle. One of >> Okay, well, you got to have it with you. You need one over here? Yeah, my partner speaks Spanish. The employee only speaks Spanish last time I was here, so He wasn't even listening to he talked Spanish. >> Find out where in the lot this happened at. Like if we're going to have a casing over there. Was a shot actually fired cuz it came out with a shot fired. Yeah, just want to know. No shot fired out here. Now, that is definitely a lie. He should go to jail for false lying. Officers learned that the woman works for a well-known security firm, which explains her permit to carry concealed. But given what just happened, both her license and her job could now be on the line. We need to find out where this happened. Can you ask the employee where this happened at? She has the gun. She's at the very least she's going for resisting for not listening. Um But we need to find out where this happened at if a shot was actually fired and Oh my goodness. I don't even understand. I don't even understand how I'm in this situation. I didn't shoot anything. I don't know what he told y'all. Listen. Let them work with it. If you didn't do anything, it's it's going to come out, okay? They got cameras here, they got everything here. So, if you didn't do anything, you got nothing to worry about, right? Right. Just sit in this handcuff for us. And we'll get we'll go from there, okay? Can you go to the picture somebody who can translate? Yep. We need to find out what happened here. Don't laugh. He needs to be truthful, though. I work for Orange County. I just brought my daughter up here from Orange County just to come up here for her car and whatnot. She didn't come up here to pull no gun on nobody. Yeah. People don't act like that. People don't act like that. Don't make Yeah. You're being excited. I know it's your daughter, okay? It's your baby girl, okay? But you being excited and and and whatnot, that doesn't help it anything. I've been in here the whole time. I've been right here. I got you, mama. >> Yeah, I've been right here. I got you and and and one of our other officers that's that's dealing with all this, they can they'll they'll come talk to you and get what what you may or may not have seen and whatnot, but just stay over here by your car. She was in there by herself. Nobody was in there. All these rest of these people was out here over here and stuff and over here just like I was out here. >> I got you. Yeah, nobody else was in there. So, all that The woman and her mother maintained that the car was wrongfully towed, but reports tell a different story. The vehicle's parking sticker was expired and after multiple ignored warnings, management had it legally removed. Just I'm just saying I I need to take things out I take things I know he got his business. This is business and he and he want to tell whatever he want to tell, but every time it don't always be the truth. >> And and that's why we got to we we are unbiased people and we have to we have to investigate and get everybody's story and figure out what the truth is, right? And what was the We need to find out from him what his certificate of her being in here cuz it came out like a single time. Because they took my car this morning from the apartments where I reside at and I've been having the apartment company contact them all morning to tell them to release my vehicle. I live there. People steal the yellow stickers off the back of our cars all the time. The registration is here. It shows that the car is up to up to date. Once they tow your car legally, they have a contract with the apartments. If they tow your car and your car is I was explaining to him that they were calling him on the phone. They literally were just on the phone with me saying that they were calling him to to release All right. It's not a Anyone can steal that sticker off our car. It's just expired. I'm going to grab this from you. And I'm going to grab this from you over here. Just one second, please. Do you have anything else in your pocket or do >> No, I literally came from work. I was trying to get my car. I have to work tomorrow and I have to work tomorrow at 8:00. And then I have to take my kids to the fair again. Let them do what they got to do. If you didn't do nothing wrong, everything's going to come right back. You're going to get released and you're going to be good to go, okay? Just let them do what they got to do. I know it's hard. Search? Yeah, they just want they want to search her before they Is she a suspect in a crime? No, they want to They got a zero over there and I don't know yet. With the situation under control, officers can finally focus on the investigation itself. Okay, so she they wanted you to just go in her car? Yeah. Okay. Mind if I just make sure with if you have anything else in your pocket? >> Go ahead. Okay, thank you. We're just going to have you sit in the car for right now, okay? Go and have a seat and then till we figure out what's going on. I'm going to put this in your pocket, too. Thank you. Yes. So when she jumped she got in he says that she walked into the office pulled the gun out on him, didn't fire it at all. Okay, so no shots were fired. No shots were fired. They're clearly uneasy, and while officers work to keep the situation under control, the female suspect starts complicating what should be a simple ID check. So, listen. What it is, you weren't wearing a seat belt when we initially warned about it on the side of the road, okay? Okay. So, um that's it. So, just relax. You see what I'm >> And I'm not No, I was I shake. That's the way I am. >> problem. No problem. And you guys came to be honest, you came at the car like aggressive. Right. Okay. >> And I don't understand why. >> Okay. Over a seat belt? It was very very aggressive. >> So so that The reason why I pulled you over is you have no seat belt, okay? Also, this vehicle uh I got to check, but um it was probably involved in like some type of retail theft. So, we'll we'll talk about that a little bit later. You might not have Does this belong to you? Yeah, this is my car, and it wasn't involved in a retail theft. Okay. Okay. Well, like I said, we'll talk about it later, but I pulled you over cuz you weren't wearing a seat belt, so I'll deal with that, and then we'll go from there, okay? Okay. Um Rodrigo, can we start working on our on our warning? Just hold up here while he gives you uh the written warning. Why did y'all do that? Why? I'm like so like rough. Weren't you here You were here You were here yesterday? No, I wasn't here yesterday. >> You weren't here yesterday? It was. Your car was. Oh, at Walmart? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you know what this is about. No, I don't know. I'm not sure. Okay. If I show you a picture, can you tell me who he is? Absolutely not. I'm not No. No? Okay. I Look, I'm not I'm no offense, but I'm not a police officer. >> Okay. Okay. You know what I mean? >> Okay. And this is your car? Yeah, this is my car. So, it was used in a crime yesterday. No, my car was not used in a crime. That is for sure. Okay. Okay. I'll show you a picture. Hang on. Hang on. To prove to you The crime? She's quick to deny any connection to the Walmart theft, but what she doesn't know is that the officers already have footage of her car from that day. That's your car, right? >> Y'all are harassing me. No, I'm not harassing you, ma'am. What does that prove? Okay. What that proves is that that car the picture of that car was taken by the manager at Walmart when an individual that was shoplifting got in it and left. Someone that was shoplifting got in my car leaving Walmart? Absolutely not true. Do you have video from Walmart proving that? No. No, because I was present in my car when this car left Walmart, and there was no one that shoplifted in my car. No. Yeah? He was not in my car when we left. Okay. Well, I'm telling you he wasn't. No. If that's If that's the If that's what you're sticking to, then our investigation shows different. Yeah? Right. So, I I have been as honest with you as I can be. Okay? It's your choice if you want to receive a ticket or not. I'm not sure. No one who shoplifted was leaving Walmart. We started the written warning. You can get it here, Christian. I don't think so. I know. What footage do you want? Show the Show the footage at Walmart or yesterday at Walmart here. Footage of someone leaving And you're just accusing people. No. The guy getting in the random car. I mean it's I don't have anything to It it it it's I told you I'm not a police officer. It's not my job to look at stuff like that and help you. I have right to say no. >> Okay, you You can ask. You have the right, but if you come to my county and you commit crimes here, this is going to happen every single time. >> I don't commit crimes. And and we're going to know when you're here, okay? Now that she's finally quiet, the officer takes the opportunity to explain why her vehicle is part of the investigation, but just like before, she's not interested in hearing it. Obviously, this vehicle, like I said, there's video surveillance footage of that individual going into Walmart, and like you said, it's not your job to help us identify the person, but obviously he used your vehicle or was in your vehicle. No, he did not use my vehicle. This is my car. Mhm. Do me a favor. Go Go ahead and step over here. They're going to run the dog around your car. All right, right here is good. Hey, watch her. 10-15. 10-15. All right, ma'am. I'm going to handcuff you guys behind your back. What am I being arrested for? Found something in the car. No. Relax. Relax. She's reaching. After watching her struggle and dig through her pockets, officers quickly connect the dots. They find a small baggie nearby, and with that, the suspect is facing an entirely new problem. All right. Uh do you have a bag? Give me a bag. Check her real good cuz she had something hard. >> was reaching for That's what When she got it out, yeah. >> you have in your pants? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS? We're past that point. The officers now try to explain why force was necessary. The suspect was reaching into her pocket, and in their line of work, they can't afford to take any chances. However, instead of calming down, the suspect chooses to argue. Stop. We're past that point. All right, so you need to chill. No, he's hurting me. Listen. Stop. We don't know what you're reaching for, if it's a gun, A KNIFE. >> MOVING. That's the reason we did the force that we did. Um She breaks down in tears, but it's too late for that to change anything. And what she says next only proves how little she understands the consequences she's facing. I'll be straight Listen, listen. Calm down. Calm down. You scared the me. Please. Cuz I thought Listen, calm down. I figured you were reaching for something that was going to hurt us the way you were fighting.
