Telling cops how to do their job rarely ends well. And these Karens learned that the hard, embarrassing way. Here are five cases when arrogant Karens try controlling cops and fail embarrassingly. Number five, entitled mom treated the block like her living room. Nononsense officers show her she's not in charge. Our first call brought officers to a quiet neighborhood after multiple residents complained about loud music coming from a nearby home. When officers arrived, they found a homeowner and her friends drinking outside. Here's how they decided to handle the situation. >> We're not disturbing the peace. >> You are disturbing the peace. I'm getting neighbors calling on you guys. They're saying you're being too loud after I told you guys after I was in the >> like two seconds ago. >> You had to turn around. So they called like two seconds and she >> I didn't I didn't even clear the call. >> I parked down the block. I still didn't hear all the way down there. I did got called the first time. >> Well, >> do you want to You want OB's for loud music or what? Excuse me, sir. No, no, no. You're a rookie. I see that. >> It's okay. It's okay. I live here. I live here. >> Peep it. >> I've been living here for three years. It's okay. I've been here for 3 years. See, I've been here for three years. OG would let it go through. >> I know. I didn't deal with OG. It's okay. >> Here, get your phone. >> That's what I'm talking about. >> Beautiful kind with the blue eyes and the blonde hair. I've been here for 3 years. >> Okay, >> you can. And that's my girl right there. Moral of the story. >> Moral story is true. >> You're going to be moral of the story. >> Wait, please don't. >> You got to have her lights on her. >> You don't have an apartment, too. Please. >> They don't. That's not even This is not where the music's coming from. >> It's literally coming from a speaker right here. >> It's my speaker and I live at about four apartments on this block and I can take it here, there, and there. And nobody can do nothing about it because I pay rent. I do what I want and everybody know what the like I'm not disrespecting nobody and it's okay. >> Doesn't have to be a big deal. We just kind radio. This is Orchard Luck. Yeah, >> for the last like 5 years, it's been more than music being a problem over here. >> Like seven. Hold on. Time out. Excuse me. >> I'm not here or it's okay. So don't come over here talking to me about music. >> Hold on. Sit down. >> That's the whole problem. >> Calm down. >> I will. I will. >> Excuse me, beautiful. having issues with anyone else. But right now, >> at 1:00 in the morning, loud music is the last thing neighbors want to hear. But the woman behind the party insists she's not doing anything wrong. >> All answers are turning down. >> Excuse me. >> Y'all been over here. I've been over here for almost 4 years >> and music is the least of y'all concerns. >> I'm well aware. >> Okay, so please do me a favor. >> But the concern tonight is >> I don't give a flying. As long as I'm not fighting, I'm not being disrespectful, I'm not being combative, that's fine. And if time out because I know it's probably her right here upstairs that called the police. It don't matter. >> Honestly, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but it technically don't matter. >> Please be quiet. It don't matter who called the police on y'all on me because I can take this speaker, which is mine, and I can take it to my apartment way. And then y'all still gonna get a call. And then I'm still gonna play my music because I still pay rent. It's still my birthday. And I can I'm not fighting. I'm not shooting. Please shut up. I'm not shooting. I'm not fighting. I'm not cursing y'all out. I'm not getting into it with my peers. I'm enjoying myself. And the fact that that's a problem is a personal concern. So y'all can get in y'all car and if y'all get another call, then y'all can take e y'all can do what y'all need from there. But moving forward, I really don't care. So y'all can have a good night and if they choose to call y'all back, then we can go from there. And don't just sit around the corner and be like, "Yeah, y'all music was too loud." So I know it's a problem concern. Be 100 with me. >> I ain't being 100. >> It's okay. No, you are being 100 because them people up down there, they called the police because I was too late the first time. It's my birthday weekend. Turn it down. >> It's I listen y'all lucky I'm not on a speaker cuz I will have it at my full potential >> because I pay I pay more than everybody else on this block to do whatever I feel necessary to do. >> It's clear now why she thinks she can get away with the noise. And while officers are still offering a chance to settle things peacefully, the group seems more interested in testing their patience. >> You can't. >> Okay, Erica, please be quiet. Please be quiet. >> But if they call y'all back, if they call y'all back, if they call y'all back, if they call y'all back, come talk to me. Hey, I got excuse me, don't talk to them. >> If they call y'all back, come talk to me. >> If they call y'all back, >> I'm not trying to tell y'all to shut up. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes, sir. >> Take it inside. >> No, there's kids inside. >> I have five kids. So, I'm going to have my fun outside. I am a single mother of two sets of twins and one in the middle. >> Turn the music down. >> So, like, >> yes. When I say when I pass you volume for the music, right? >> I'm not doing it. >> Totally fine. >> It's not enough. >> It goes louder than this, we're going to have a >> fine. No louder. >> I said what I said louder than that with them dogs chasing them kids and like that know we just come get y'all be down there every day of the week. >> Back down. >> Listen y'all when they go down there down there. >> I'm going to move to my apartment which is like four buildings down. And then they're going to call y'all again. And then you know the real Listen, I know but it's not going to happen. I've been here for 3 years. >> It's been worse than this. You know what I'm saying? People didn't got here and you know that. >> I don't people. I'm a mom. >> Okay. So I can listen to my music and enjoy my peace. >> You're disrupting the entire block >> and I can hear your music down there with my windows down. If I was listening to drill music like >> there's nothing you would >> shoot them up. Yes, it does matter. >> Yeah, it does. >> It's the music is too loud. That's all that matters. That's the baseline. >> The officers are asking them a simple request. Turn the music down and call it a night. However, with all three defying police orders, the officers are running out of options. >> Sir and ma'am, respect. We'll find out when I go down there and then they call y'all in like 30 minutes and tell y my music too loud down there. >> Are you riding an OB or not? >> I'm going to if they don't turn it down. >> What's OB? >> Ordinance violation. You have to pay the city. >> That's fine, but you also got to know who lives here for that. >> So, here's the deal. If they want to write you an ordinance violation, >> it don't matter. You have to leave and come back for that. >> Yeah. Huh? You have to because listen, give me a just >> Are you going to identify yourself? >> Wait, understand where I'm coming. Can you not raise your voice? >> Okay, because y'all being disrespectful to me. >> You're drunk and disrespectful. All right. >> First of all, I can walk a straight line right now and I'm on chill. >> I don't care. >> I'm at home. Wait, I don't need your help. >> We're not sure to have issues here, but you're making this a lot more bigger deal than it needs to be. >> Just hear me out, though. We've been listening to like >> you haven't done anything pertinent to the situation. >> I get what you're saying. You asking me to respectfully turn my music down to respect. >> That's why I get what y'all saying. Y'all think I'm being drunk and disorderly and I disorderly. >> Listen to me, sir. >> Wait. I asked you to listen. I listen. >> You live four years. You're a single mother. Got five kids in the house. >> When we pull away, you're going to take your music and continue to be disrespectful. >> But I can do it right here. They see him. >> No, you can't. >> But I can't pull up. >> You can. And then you're get OV. >> But know who I am to get a OV. >> If you don't identify yourself, >> you're going to take me to jail. >> Yeah. >> You can't. >> It's called trucking today. >> Come over here. >> We can rap. >> And all of y'all are new. I'm going to tell y'all right now today. Neither one of you have ever been to what it needs to be. >> Excuse me. You being pretty chill with us. >> Turn it down. Pause it for two seconds. >> We going to rap in silence. Y'all, please just be quiet and just let me speak. >> If you're expecting her to finally comply, think again. What she says next only makes things worse. And it's the kind of response that'll leave you shaking your head. >> It's not music. >> Okay, I'm going to say this. Oh, I'm stepping in mud cuz y'all got me. I mean, please be quiet and just hear me out. >> Neither one of you three have ever been on or before cuz I've never seen y'all. Never. I've never seen y'all whether it is for Ashley. >> I was just out here like two days ago. >> Excuse me. Were you for Ashley and Rob? >> Yeah, I know. Were you knocking on my door at 8:00 in the morning the next door neighbors? No, >> we work night shift. We don't work. >> Okay, I'm here all the time. I work I work 8 to 5. I >> Is this relevant to what's going on? >> Yes, I'm telling you why. Wait, but give me a second. That just shut up. Just give me a second. Shut up. >> Here's what we're going to do. >> It matters. I don't care. I don't care. I know. And then you're going to park around the corner. And if you feel like >> And then you feel like my music is too loud. And then you're going to park around the corner. And then you're going to come back because you didn't have a phone call. And then you're going to say, "I heard your music around the corner and it was too loud because you picking with me." But in all reality, it's people out here and you worried about music. >> My turn now. >> My turn now. >> I kind of don't care. >> I don't care either. >> You kind of work for me. >> No, I do not. >> So you're not a public servant. Oh my goodness. Okay, first of all, >> it's okay. >> I don't need a phone call. >> If I park around the corner, hear the music. >> It's okay. I technically don't give a >> At this point, the officers have had enough. She refused to listen. And now it's time for her to face the consequences. >> Identify yourself. >> You taking me to jail? >> Are you going to identify? Are >> you going to identify yourself? >> Time out. >> You either tell us your name or you're going to be arrested. It's that simple. >> Okay, give me a reason. >> Because we need to issue an ordinance violation. >> But that was Wait. Time out. >> No, we're not. Wait, wait, wait. >> Hands behind your back. >> Y'all not taking me to jail for nothing. >> Back up. >> Behind your back. >> Come on. Grab your phone. Where y at? Where y? >> I'm fighting. >> I'm fighting. I'm fighting. >> I'm fighting. >> What's going on? >> Am I fighting? >> Stand here. Go grab it. >> Am I fighting? >> Am I fighting? >> Am I fighting? >> Excuse me. >> Excuse me. >> Am I fighting y'all? >> Excuse me. Before y'all rough house me, >> ask me a question cuz I'm not resisting. Am I? Am I resisting? >> You said let it go. >> Just back up. >> Okay, back up. >> Back up. Everybody back up. >> I'll talk to you in the squad car. >> Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. >> Can we talk right here? Listen, >> listen. Y'all being aggressive. >> Take her, but just I need to get her out of the way while we deal with our rest of these guys. >> Hey, can we talk? >> No. Get in the car. >> Y'all don't like the way I was talking to you. Get in the car. >> I will. Get in the car. >> Okay. I will. Don't do that to me. >> Hey. Hey. Don't touch me, >> gang. My house. Go to my house. Go to my house. >> Talk to me, bro. I have kids at home. Why y'all being so abusive? You're going to get sprayed. >> You better stop. >> This is your last chance. You do that again, you're getting sprayed. >> I can't breathe. Y'all, I can't breathe back here. Please. >> I will open the door in a second. And you got rescue coming to look at you. >> She was medically cleared before being transported to the station. But that didn't stop her from trying to make as much noise and disruption as possible before the ride. >> Please help me, y'all. I can't breathe. Just outside. You're just afraid. Crack the windows or something. Please, y'all. I can't breathe. Oh my god. Please. Please. It's y'all. I can't breathe. Please. I ain't never been made before in my life, y'all. Please. God. Number four. driver thought he could deny his way through a traffic stop, but the police had other plans. Coming up, on September 28th, 2024, an officer on patrol spotted a red sedan driving erratically. To ensure the driver was fit to be behind the wheel, he immediately initiated a traffic stop. Here's what followed. How you doing? >> How are you doing? >> We drinking tonight? No. >> No. >> Why you driving like that? Like what? >> You took the turn wide coming off of uh Honda Galina. You're going really slow. You stop beyond the crosswalk and you seem like you're nervous. >> You haven't been drinking at all. >> All right. Where are you coming from? Taking my friends home. >> Taking your friends home? >> Okay. Let's start with your driver's license. >> Has everybody else been drinking tonight? No. >> All right. You got insurance for your car? There's only one way of doing that. That's if you're stepping out. >> I think my legal team will do a better job of that. would they now? Okay. I guarantee Pennsylvania vims is going to pop up. When a police officer asks you to step out, you have to step out. And that means everybody. >> That's not how it works. >> I'm afraid you're uh you're mistaking. All right. You just get a wrap here. Ladies in the back, can you step out too? >> I've got a Nova. I'll take another. >> I appreciate it. >> You're not going to win this over. I'm stopping you for a valid reason, a lawful reason, and I can I smell a strong order of an alcoholic beverage. I believe you've been drinking tonight. Alls I'm asking is for you to step out and do some field sobriety tests, and then we'll be on our way. Who you calling? >> Hey, what you doing? Yeah, call your guys quick. Call your guys quick. We don't >> problem. Okay. Thank you. Hope. Thank you. >> Yep. Well, I don't know what your problem is. >> Thanks. Yep. Yep. Horse. Horse. Good. Thank you. Number three, tantrums activated after getting busted for theft. This time in Illinois, officers responded to reports of a homeless woman causing a disturbance at a local gas station. When they arrive, they find her still on the scene and move quickly to detain her. >> Come here, hun. >> I already know. >> Come here. >> I already know what you're in here for. >> Okay. You're under arrest. >> I know. I'm not even running. Am I running? Am I running? Why are you twisting me like this? Okay. I'm not running. >> Okay. >> I'm not running. I am not running. Get this card. >> Get in there. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, she is. >> All right. >> Okay. want to check on. >> With a woman secured in the cruiser, officers turn their attention to wrapping up paperwork with gas station staff. Before heading to the station, they make one necessary stop to get the suspect medically cleared at the hospital. [Applause] >> Help me. Help me. >> What's she doing? >> You're not doing yourself any favors. >> Stop. >> Put your feet back in there. They're trying to get you to the appointment. Get in there. >> Put your feet in there. >> We're hoping you were at the hospital. >> You were supposed to have me cover the back. I'm three and a half months pregnant. You know what I'm saying? I ain't never lied to you. I never fought you. How many times you arrest me? [Music] you moving a lot isn't doing yourself any I told her she's probably going to be fed up. So they're going to try to find a room for her before we bring her in and haul her in. [Music] I know. I move. You want your shoes? >> Please help me. >> We're over in my other side. >> Please help me. Please. I need to hurry up. Breathe. If you sat still, it probably would hurt. It hurt. How you know? I hate >> There's no undoing what's been done, but that doesn't stop the woman from trying to cry her way out while making things harder for the officer. [Music] at me. >> If you're pregnant, why you smoke? >> Because I want to maybe I want to have a baby >> like you. >> Damn, man. When you find out Charles, >> when have I ever fought with you to get arrested? >> I mean, >> you did today. >> Okay, because my hands are hurt and I told you I got nerve damage to my hand. But no, you want to suck. Oh god, I got to chase where I name is. I'm worried about that. I'm not worried about that. That part was argu about him. So you can grab my hand and put it cuz y'all Cuz y'all serious? >> Huh? That's right. >> I don't know what you're asking. >> I'm asking you. So you grab my hand. >> You were put under arrest. You think you don't even know. You don't even know who I am. >> In the end, the woman was charged with theft and resisting arrest. Number one, woman showed up to help her brother and ended up in cuffs herself. In our final case, officers spotted a Dodge Ram stopped in the middle of an intersection. When the officer flashed his cruiser's lights to get the driver's attention, the vehicle suddenly sped off, committing multiple traffic infractions before finally coming to a reckless stop. Here's how the officers responded. >> What's going on? >> So, the line over by the pump. >> Yeah, >> he was sitting in the intersection straight up the light turn green. Came up here, struck the medium, and then her white turned green. I blew him up to my turn. Try to get him to stay. I said I walked up to the car. We car noticed his side of the field. Got back over here and I pulled over kind of like slow rolling came out here. I asked this dude to stay in the car about three times. >> What you got? >> This hill at the red light. >> What are you talking about? Two times. >> Uh stumbling sl that's past the presence. He stopped me at the red light, bro. Like I don't understand this. He stopped me at the red light. >> Okay. >> The red light back there. >> Back there. Yeah. >> And then how did you end up here? >> Cuz he got green and then we came across and he went to put his lights on. >> Exactly. That's what happened. If he has a camera on, you can see all that. >> Oh, he does have a camera. >> All right. Okay. Cool. So, if he sees that, he sees >> What is that camera going to show? It's going to show you not stopping for him. >> I stopped at the red light. >> I don't I don't know why he stopped me, bro. Like honestly, >> the red light is all the way back there. >> Back there. Yeah. And I stopped back there. >> So then >> as soon as it turned green, he I went across and he went to put this lights on. >> Like that's that's why his camera's going to show me. >> He was going to reveal the camera. You understand? >> I understand that. I understand that. Yes, sir. >> Red light over there. >> I understand that. And I stopped at the red light. >> Stop. You stopped at the light. I went across and he put his his lights on. I I I put that on everything. >> If you stopped at the light, >> I stopped at the light at the red light. >> I didn't go across. I I swear to God on everything. >> So then how did your your truck end? >> I don't know. He just want to He trying to He's just trying to try to put his money though, but he's trying to put his points off. I don't understand cuz I stopped at the red light. As soon as it turned green, I went across like there's no way he should he should have stopped me. >> The man's slurred speech and incoherent sentences suggest he's intoxicated. And with the officer also noticing the smell of alcohol, the signs are clear. However, the man seems set on arguing his way out of trouble. >> I'm putting out on everything. >> At least I understand what he's saying. >> I understand what Yeah, but what the happened? I'm telling you right now, bro. Like, he put his lights on as soon as it turned green. So, there's no way he should have put me over. I stopped at the red light. I didn't I didn't go across the red light. I didn't go past the red light. I stopped at the red light. Is there anybody else in your truck? >> There's nobody else in my truck. I'm by myself. >> I got my boys in front of me cuz we just came from birthday party. >> Okay. You understand? >> I understand all that, bro. But why you put >> I didn't even explain anything. You said you understand what I'm saying. >> I Bro, because everything that happened, I understand what happened. But why? >> What I was going to say was your boys pulling up on a traffic stop is not going to be an issue. >> He's coming to his house. Refusing to take a field sobriety test only confirms the officer's suspicions. Judging by what they've already seen, he's not safe to drive and it's time to take further action. >> For a traffic stop. For a traffic stop. You going to search him? Come on, bro. You don't life. >> I don't have you guys searching my cars. Why you Why you putting me in your car? freezer right now. It's a traffic stop. They're searching it for no reason. >> I'm good. I don't give a >> I probably just don't I would just go right to the bathroom. >> I am. >> We're going to >> Can you just take a look at the car real quick? >> Yeah. Yeah. We're Yeah, we'll we'll do we'll take care of everything else. And >> soon the man's sister appears and immediately demands the car. And with her arrival, the situation takes another difficult turn. I have somebody coming right now. >> It's getting towed. It's He It's getting arrested, so it's getting towed. >> But I'm here. >> Doesn't matter. What is this? >> I don't know. Okay. Um, gardens towing. >> Gardens. >> Yeah. >> I deal with this nonsense. >> They said they're charging up for DUI. >> You got to go. >> Hey, you're blocking the lane. >> You're blocking the lane. >> Need to move your vehicle. >> Move your vehicle, please. >> Drive away. >> I'm taking my brother's. >> You're not taking the car. >> I am. >> If you step out of this vehicle, you will go to jail. >> Oh, yeah. I'm sure. >> Keep driving. >> Yeah. Yeah. I know. Officers higher than you guys. You're blocking the lane of traffic right now. >> You guys are unfair. My brother was never drunk. You guys are just bored. Have nothing better else to do. >> Who the took my brother? >> You need to go. >> I need to know who took him. >> You need to drive. I got him. >> You guys are a piece of know that every single one of you. >> Have a nice night. Just when the officers thought things had wrapped up, the woman comes back insisting she get the car. And here's when tensions rise again. >> That's good. >> Excuse me. >> Nope. >> All right. Can we >> Yeah. What do you want to do with her? >> Take her. >> All right. [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] 2 one. [Music] Careful. 1050 on the vehicle just west of Sansbury. Ma'am. >> Yes. >> Look, you need to listen to me, okay? I need you to step out of the vehicle just for right now. Okay. >> Okay. >> Please. Do you have any weapons on you? >> Do you have any weapons on you? >> Um, >> don't reach for anything. Do you have a weapon on you? >> Um, if it's >> Okay, just step out with me. Okay. >> She could have ended the night at home, but now the officers have no choice but to place her in cuffs and take her in. Sorry, I just had my knee surgery and my my neck surgery. Just face the >> Listen, we already asked you a bunch of times not to do your >> I just had knee >> and you even hit me. So, >> I didn't hit you, officer. >> You sure did when you took off, >> officer. I didn't hit you. >> So, now you got a felony on top of that. So, >> don't do this to me. >> Just take your back there. I just got to take all my Is your knee okay? >> No, I just had a water. I just had leg surgery. >> I understand. We're not going to do anything. We're just going to sit in the car. Okay. >> All right. Just lean up against the car right now. Okay. >> Did you give him your ID? You did. Okay. Listen, when you pull up on a traffic stop like that, I understand your brother's going to jail, but you can't do what you did. That's a big issue. It's a big safety thing for us. It's a safety thing for you. You're blocking traffic and then when the officer the deputy's trying to pull you out of the car, >> you start acting crazy and you take off and you hit him. >> So that's a big problem. Do you understand? >> No, no, no. I didn't mean to this. I just planted my girlfriend. >> All right. Well, >> unfortunately, your decisions. >> It's not up to me. Just have a seat in the car. Okay. >> You got to go in there. >> You got to explain. Do we have a female? >> As the officers prepare to clear the scene, another sibling arrives. >> What's up, man? What's going on? >> My sister's here. >> What's up? >> My sister's here. >> She just went to jail. >> What? What happened? >> I guess is your brother? >> Yeah. >> He got pulled over. He got arrested for DUI. Your sister was coming to come and get the car. We told her she couldn't because the car was getting towed. So after the car was we told her she was getting towed. We told her to leave. She left. She came back told her she needed to leave again and she hit one of the deputies with her car. So now she's going to jail for aggravated assault on law enforcement officer. >> Right. >> Okay. >> So you seem >> as of the grand scheme of things, you seem to be the only one who's calm in this whole entire thing. Okay. Do you have anyone else in the car with you? >> No. No. It's just you. >> Look, at the end of the day, man, she she's they both went to jail. >> She hit somebody with a car. >> Yeah, she hit my partner with the car. >> He asked her to get out of the car. She took off and hit him with the car. >> So, it is what it is, man. I don't know if she's drunk or they're both drunk. I don't know what's going on. >> My brother, why he got pulled over? He got pulled over. I'm not sure cuz I didn't pull over. >> If it's your brother, he's the one that was driving the Ram. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Apparently, he sat for a long time at a traffic light. Somebody else saw him and then when the deputy pulled up behind him, he accelerated and stopped underneath the overpass. You know, that little island there. >> Well, he ran over that >> uh the little bump. >> Yeah, he ran over that. So, he's sitting on top of the um on top of the island and then he speeds off again and that's why he was stopped there on the edge of it. So they investigated him for DUI refused roadside task. So the investigator had to go with what she had and that's the other person. Hello. Hello. We're definitely not talking. [Applause] >> I said we're definitely not talking to that guy. >> Oh, the guy on the side. >> Yeah. No. >> Now on route to the station, the woman still seems convinced she's done nothing wrong despite everything that's happened so far. You know what you're doing to me is wrong, right? >> I'm sorry. What' you say? >> You know what you're doing is wrong. >> You have to speak a little bit louder. It's a little loud in here. >> What you're doing is wrong. >> Put the hair on. >> What you're doing is wrong. >> What I'm doing is wrong. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'll explain everything to you when we get over there. >> Can you please slow down? My neck is hurting. I just had neck surgery. >> I can't hear you. >> Well, I just had neck surgery. Can you slow down a bit? >> Knee surgery. >> Neck and knee surgery. >> Okay. I'm not throwing you to the ground or anything. >> Yeah, but it's the position and it's the way you're driving. >> Be comfortable. Okay. Is my brother here as well? >> He actually is. >> County white female. >> Thank you. In the end, the man was charged with DUI and refusing to sign a citation. As for the woman, her night ended with charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting with violence, fleeing and eluding, and harassing a first responder on duty.
