I'm not trying to escalate this. But she puts my hands on me again. >> Put your hands ON ME WITH MY HAND BECAUSE you're not listening. >> You touch me. You're not going to do nothing TO ME FOR YOUR TOUCH ME. Don't ask ME FOR ANYTHING, DADDY. I WAS JUST DRIVING. I PULLED IN. >> DO THE RIGHT THING. NO. And then do you quiet? >> I know you didn't do anything. >> So what? If you ain't doing nothing, why you talking? >> Even with the officer and her parents trying to help her avoid a worse outcome, the driver refuses to take [music] the hint. >> He's harassing YOU FOR NOTHING ON THIS STREET. >> He's not doing anything. >> He just pulled up behind you. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. I passed by it, man. >> It's just It's just a traffic stop. >> It's just a traffic stop. >> The man did nothing. Well, he caught up to you and he parked. >> He caught up to me when I was right here turning in and didn't turn his lights on. That's why I was confused. >> There's nothing wrong with that. >> He was not following me the whole time or nothing. >> OKAY. HE JUST OUT OF NOWHERE. >> SO WHAT? >> YOU GOT TO GO TO WORK AND PUSH. >> HE WAS PUSHING AND SHUT AT ME WHILE I WAS TRYING TO GET MY BABY OUT THE CAR. >> SO WHAT? >> THAT'S WHY I'M I'M like this. >> Are you okay? >> NO. ARE YOU OKAY? >> I TOLD YOU TO. >> NO. ARE YOU OKAY? SHUT UP. >> ARE YOU OKAY? >> I TOLD YOU TO. >> NO, HE'S NOT OKAY. >> HE'S NOT OKAY. >> You don't want to listen. You don't want to listen. There is free speech. >> That's why you shouldn't be bothering ME. BUT GO BOTHER SOMEBODY THAT'S REALLY DOING SOMETHING. >> OKAY. >> We are so sorry. >> I'm in here the word of God and like what the heck? I don't know. >> YOU GOT TO KNOW HOW TO LISTEN. >> JUST BE SUBMIT. >> SUBMIT YOURSELF to these people. They ain't doing nothing. The man ain't getting nothing. Ma'am, ma'am, if you disagree with the citation, you can take that to court. Okay. >> For what? If you get a citation, >> he can't arrest you for nothing. >> You bring it ain't ain't that she? >> OKAY. WELL, WHEN you go to court, >> IF HE TELL YOU TO SPEAK yourself still, be still. That's it. Simple. >> They got a job to do. Free. They got a job to do. That's it. They got a job. The driver insists she's simply exercising her free will, but no one at the scene is seeing it that way. >> I got a >> Okay, why don't you just do what he ask you? >> Because it was unnecessary. >> Okay. >> Ma'am, listen. Let me try to explain to you this. >> Listen to it, man. >> Typically, typically when we pull someone over, okay, for us, we want them to remain in the car. Okay. >> But I just feel like I didn't need to be remain in the car because he wasn't pulling me over till I got right here. Keep on and I was getting out the car. >> Ma'am, it's ma'am. It's happened to you. Sometimes you don't catch up with the person. You're in the neighborhood that they get home, but you want them to stay in the car. You don't want people walking around going to do with me. I was getting my own car. >> Is they disrespecting you? No. >> Yes, he did. He touched me. >> Okay. But but but then he going to say that I touched him. No, you touched me. >> Ma'am, neither of us know you. In the past, we've had cases where people pull up and they pretend to live somewhere to get out of getting a ticket. So sometimes >> that's probably what he thought. I live here. >> But we we don't know that. So until we verify that, that's all it is. We're just trying to conduct a traffic stop. >> We're just trying to >> If he would have stopped me back here, I would have stopped. I was trying to figure out why you wait till I get all the way to my house to put your lights on and tell me don't get out of my car where I live, >> man. So So when we pull someone over, the first thing we got to do is we got to call it out on the radio. Sometimes the radio isn't clear. So until we can call it out on the radio, we're not allowed to turn our lights on. Okay. So there's a whole procedure we go through that you may not be aware, but it's not it's not we're not singling you out or anything like that. Okay. >> Yes, he did. Because he was going a different direction and turned around to come this way. Maybe maybe he witness a violation. Okay, I I'm not him. I can't speak for him. But that that's how these things work. >> R is not that. It's just doing what they tell you. That man would have been gone right now. He would have been gone. >> That's the thing. You have to shut if you would have just shut your mouth. >> It would have been all over. Ain't nobody hurt you. And it what they said. Okay. Okay. What's to report? >> What you mean? What's to report? >> Because you're not listening. >> Yo, steak, right? >> But why you acting so >> All right. >> Backup soon arrives to help with the situation. But even with another officer present, the driver still refuses to listen. >> I tried not going this route with you, but you're not. You're very confused about what's going on here. I am. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> This is just so simple. She's causing your hands in HER RIGHT NOW. >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> WHAT IS SHE GOING TO JAIL FOR? WHAT IS SHE GOING TO JAIL FOR? >> GIVE ME a shake. Give me a shake. You're going to get all my sto You're going to get hurt yourself. Just put your hands behind your back. >> Hurry. Okay. I stop trying to slam. Look at her. She's resisting. That's what >> is she going to jail for? >> Battery law enforcement. >> STOP. STOP. She ain't got no turn. >> Turn over. >> Turn over. >> Why is you doing that? >> Turn over. >> I can't. I can't. I can't. >> I promise you. Turn over. Turn this way. Turn around. MY ARM. MY ARM. >> I KNOW IT'S NOT going to go well for you. >> Flat flat. >> I'm telling you, go roll. >> Other way. [screaming] [screaming] >> I don't want to hurt her. >> Rihanna, why do you DO THAT? >> YOU DID. You shouldn't have said nothing. I told you don't say nothing. >> I got to go. >> Go in the house. >> I told you. >> Turn over. Turn over. >> You ain't never BEEN ARRESTED. BUT NOW >> Turn over. No reason. >> Turn over. >> He don't like me. He's racist. Mom, >> he's racist. >> Turn towards me. >> No. >> Briana, can we take some custody? You stand by. >> Just take it in the uh Put it in the No, >> ma'am. Turn over, please. Even after multiple chances from the officers and her own parents urging her to cooperate, the driver refuses to back down, leaving officers with little choice but to step in. >> Ma'am, you got to back up. >> Ma'am, back up. >> Turn over. Turn over. >> Turn over. I'm not playing rabbit. >> Get your fuckale video. I don't care. >> She did it to herself. But what she gets [screaming] >> ma'am I have you on your side. Okay. >> All right. Here come >> I can't breathe though. >> Sit up. >> Damn. Shut up. >> I was way too lenient. >> I know you were. >> Simple. Simple. Stop. Okay, breathe. Calm down. Calm down. >> It's okay. >> Why is y'all doing this for reason? They follow me to the house for no reason and then try to pull me when I >> ma'am. Are you able to sit up? I can't breathe. >> I never did. >> Ma'am, ma'am, can you sit up for me? >> Okay. >> With the officers finally being pushed to take a more forceful approach. The driver still manages to make the situation harder for everyone involved. >> Are How we going to How we going to get you up? >> I don't know. I don't have any. >> We're just going to stand you up. in the house. >> Come on. >> Ready. >> 3 2 1 >> car. >> We'll get you your shoes. All right. >> I didn't even do that. I'm getting arrested. >> Hold on. Hold on. Everything's going to be all right. >> I'm getting arrested. I don't even know why I'm back here. >> Have a seat in there, man. >> Told you to. >> I told you to shut up. >> I DON'T CARE. I STILL DON'T CARE. >> HAVE A SEAT. >> I just can't breathe. >> Can y'all take this with her? >> We can't. We can't do that. >> Can you You got shorts. >> She don't have any shoes. I need I need the name and the badges of everybody. >> Yeah. Can you Can you put the shorts on? Can you put Can you put your shorts on her? >> Ma'am, I'm here right now. A man wearing ragged clothes steps out of the house in question, insisting he has nothing to do with any trouble, [music] leaving the officers momentarily puzzled. >> What's going on tonight? >> Female male still up there? >> No, male. You can you can >> Do you have marks on your door? >> Come here. >> Okay. >> Was she Was she threatening the other woman who's inside >> or was it just everybody? >> Did anybody get threatened? >> Yes or no? Tell the truth. Police right here. >> Did you get threatened? I kicked my car. >> She kicked your car. She kicked my car. >> Was that tonight? >> No, it was like I called the police already. I got a police card in the car already. >> Okay. >> And it it was the same girl from tonight. >> I can show you my police card. >> Okay. She tried to >> She was Where did that come from? >> Have hanging at right there. >> How you doing? >> Shut the door. [laughter] That's never been on. She like, "Hey man, talking to dribbers." I don't know what her reason was. >> Could be more than what I know. >> I don't know. She disrespected why I stay. >> That's that. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, she came and she hit the door a bunch. >> I have to pay for that. >> She get the frying pan. >> With a victim now speaking up, the officers begin gathering the details they need to pursue the suspect who fled the scene. >> Yes, you did. Yes, you did. with that frying pan. Look, it's bent. >> Yeah, >> she hit it right there. >> Okay. And you've met her before. You've had dealings with her before. But she was trying to get to me, but I stayed up here because I am seven months pregnant. Okay. >> And I not >> Yeah, you don't want your baby. >> Yeah, I'm not gonna get my baby. >> So, what was she saying when she was running around in here just talking to >> She banged on the door and she was like, "Um, I came I was coming downstairs, so I didn't really couldn't hear her that part, but I just know she had that and she was trying to get to me." >> Mhm. >> But somebody else called the police first before I I mean, I I did call the police actually. Hello. >> Hello. >> So, what's going on tonight? >> I'm not sure what's going on. >> It turns out the suspect is the victim's ex, shedding light on why he and his pregnant partner were targeted. >> So, she was she didn't talk to you. Okay. So, I have a video of you swinging frying pans at people. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I'm confused. Yeah. >> How are you confused? You say you have a video of me swinging frying pan. >> Yeah. So, I have a video of you swinging a frying pan at a gentleman at I9. >> At I9. Is there any reason for that? >> I'm confused, ma'am. >> How Why are you confused? >> I'm trying to go home. I'm confused. >> Why? What is there to be be confused about? >> I was trying to go to my swimming pool from here. Do you have the video of that? >> I don't have the video of you walking to the swimming pool. I do have a video of you swinging a frying pan at somebody. Is there any reason for that? >> I was trying >> Did you feel unsafe when you were swinging the frying pan? >> Was it an act of self-defense? >> Yeah, Miss Ma'am. I was trying >> How was an act of self-defense? He was unarmed. >> I was trying to go from my house to here. That's it. >> Okay. Well, your residence is right across the street from the pool, not all the way down at the end of the circle. How was in the act of self-defense? >> I already had filed a fight. I don't feel as safe without a law enforcement ma'am. So >> with the what? >> Without a law lawyer. I don't feel >> without a lawyer present. >> Yeah. >> Okay, that's fine. >> You go ahead and put your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back. >> Why? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Why? >> Why? Why? >> Stop resisting. Stop. >> Why? Why? >> Put your other hand behind your back or this will continue hurting. >> Why? >> I got it. Why? >> Hold on. Calmly move your hand. >> Thank you. >> What is this? What is it the rest of? >> Why? >> Just hold on and she'll explain it to you in a second. Okay. >> Who felt like that? >> Oh, how do I hold? Who? >> I got a phone right here. >> Thank you. How do I Who? Why? Why? Officers eventually catch up with the suspect, but her inconsistent answers quickly raise enough concern for them to place her in cuffs. >> Who I felt like that? How do I Who >> do you have anything on you want to tell me about? >> What? How do I Who felt like that? >> Do you have anything on you want to tell me? >> No, man. Who felt like that? >> How do I Who How do I Hold on. You're not telling me what I did. >> How do I How do I Who? What a >> Get in the car. >> What? You're not telling me what to do. >> Yeah, you just punch in the back of your glass. >> I know. She was just hitting the back of the glass. >> Put your hand behind your back. Stop. >> Okay. I'm I'm I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm >> Get your hand behind your back. >> Hold on. Come on. >> Okay. Okay. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm surrendering. I'm >> Do you want to go to the ground? >> I'm surrendering. What happened? What happened? What happened? >> Stop. >> You're not telling me what I who Stop. >> You're not telling. Put her to the ground. To the ground. Go down. >> You're not telling me what I got. >> You're not telling me what I who >> You're not telling. >> Stop resistance. Stay down. You're not telling me what I who You're not telling me what I You're not telling me what I who You're not telling me what I You're not telling me what I What happened? You're not telling me what I need to do. You're not telling me what I need to. >> I just did something really dumb. Put your feet. >> But what is it for? >> They're not telling me what they going to tell you. Pull me in FOR WHAT? YOU'RE NOT TELLING ME WHAT I WANT. >> You're not telling me what I want. >> But you're not telling me without any ho. >> You need to stop now. >> Do you want to get rip hobbled? >> No. But you're not tell me without any who. >> If you don't calm down, I will strap you down. Am I clear? But you're not telling me without any help. >> You're not telling me without any who. I never hit anybody. You're not I never hit anybody. The suspect attempts every angle to fight the situation, arguing, pushing back, even resisting. But the officers stay firmly in control. I never leave. Ma'am, Ma'am, I'm okay. I'm going to sit down. Ma'am, I'm going to sit down. Ma'am, I'm going to >> Ma'am, I'm never I never did anything. >> Stop it. >> But I NEVER DID ANYTHING. MA'AM, I never did anything and you're trying to save me too. MA'AM, [screaming] >> quit resisting and it will quit hurting. >> Ma'am, you're just >> sit back. Are you >> open up the other side? >> Are you going to try to grab your arm? >> Shut the door. >> Come on. >> Shut the door. >> I got >> Get off of me now. >> Stephanie, >> I never did anything. I never did anything. I never I never did anything. Y'all was trying to >> No. No. Okay. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> Where's your >> All right. So, will you come shut your door? >> Your Not anything that was intentional. >> What do you want me to do? >> Oh, yeah. I lost my hand. >> What are you locking me up for? >> You're an arrest for a simple assault. >> What am I? >> An obstruction. >> What about the door? >> Yo, felony. Was that >> about the door? >> I didn't do anything. >> Oh, yeah. And criminal trespass damage property. >> What is that? After the confrontation with her ex and his pregnant partner, the suspect was ultimately charged with simple assault, criminal damage to property, obstruction, and resisting arrest without violence. Golf Course drama ends in arrest. On April 18th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a local golf course after staff reported that one of their customers had assaulted a 79year-old employee. Here's what happened when officers arrived at the scene. had an unruly customer go after a couple of our cart guys. >> Oh, he went after a couple of them. >> Yeah, he >> Yeah, he got me and he got him. >> Both of you guys. >> Yeah, >> he got him, but then he got me. >> But he did put his hands on you though. >> Yeah. >> Okay. He first he Ralph just went to talk to him to tell him to speed it up, jumped out of his car, pushed this man down on the ground. That's what I ran over. Then he was on top of me. >> Then he got on top of you. >> Yeah. Okay. And both you guys are employed here, staff, correct? Okay. >> All right. Biggest thing right now. You on EMS? Just check that out. >> Would you like to have EMS? Check it out. >> I don't know. Should I? >> Nah. >> Is it a >> No, it No, >> you didn't split it. >> I mean, I wouldn't, but you know. >> No, you I'm okay. [laughter] You may feel that, but >> we want to press charges against >> Oh, yeah. Okay. Okay. >> Perfect. >> He started. >> We're going to take all the statements from the people that were that did um see everything. Okay. >> He says he first, but there ain't no way he hit him. >> Okay. >> He just walked over to talk to him and he shoved him back. >> This is his car. >> Is it his cart? >> Can you just leave that? Just leave it. >> Yeah, he left three empties. I don't know how many he had. >> Okay. >> But he left three empties in the cart. >> Okay. All right. What's up, boss man? How you doing? Am I taking your hands out of your pockets for me? Okay. >> And my lady. >> All right. >> That's it. >> Okay. You're good. You bleeding. See? >> I am because they hit me and they're saying I they didn't hit me. >> Okay. So, hold on. I mean, both sides of the stories. That's fine. >> No, it's fine. >> Okay. I just wanted to come talk to you before he took off and they made some allegations against you. Okay. >> No, they did. And I have >> You have ID on you or something? >> She has it. >> You have his ID? >> ID? What? >> MyDid? >> Yeah. And they're all against me. And as you can see, I'm sure there's blood all over my mouth cuz I have cotton mouth now because >> But who are you with? You were with her and anybody else? >> With her and one other golfer, but it was a random. >> According to the cart attendants, the conversation was supposed to stay calm, but the suspect suddenly pushed and assaulted one of them. And they believe alcohol may have played a role. >> So, what happened there? >> So, we were on the back nine. I'm going wait till he leaves cuz I'm not I'm not going to have him go over there and tell him. >> Mike, you mind uh going over there and waiting for me over there? >> Absolutely. >> Thank you. >> Okay. So, we were on the back nine. I'm a beginner. I was with three other beginners. >> Okay. >> None. She would did not golf. None of us know how to golf. >> Okay. >> So, we're taking our time. You know, we're having fun. I've been drinking. I'm not I'm straight up. I'm going to tell you. I've been drinking. I'm not going to lie to you. There's no point. >> I've been drinking. We've been golfing. And they came up behind us and they said, not word for word because I don't remember what they said, but basically it was, can you guys speed it up? You know, there was a group of four and another group of four behind us. >> But you need to pick up space. You need to pick up >> because I'll come talk to you after. Okay. I just don't want conflicting. So, >> you're fine. >> This [clears throat] might have anything to do with it, but I was origally supposed to go out at 12:15. >> Okay. >> And I went out to, you know, whole 10 >> and everyone was complaining. You know, no one like I I get it. It's golf. They want to be where they're at. They don't want to tell someone to jump in front. So I went back to that jump. >> So I get all this. So let's I want to get to the altercation part, right? So they come say, "Hey, can you speed it up?" Right. >> We get back to that back nine. We like I think we just finished hole nine or I guess hole 18, whatever. Back nine. >> Okay. >> You know, >> and we're on the back 18, I'll call it. And we're coming up, you know, right across where that canopy tent where all the carts are. >> Okay. and we're coming up and I said something to him because the lady in front of us said something. I said, "Hey, >> were you a Cisco?" Like, you know, I'm just I'm a beginner. I don't know how to golf. I came out here to have fun. I paid the money. I wanted to golf. >> Okay. >> And so I said to one of those three in the red, I don't know who. I don't want to point out you and it wasn't you. >> Okay. >> So I come behind him and I say, "Hey, were you this good when you first started?" >> Yep. >> And he said, "No." And I said, "Okay, we're all beginners. We're trying to have fun." Cuz they were trying to speed us up cuz I guess the group behind was complaining. According to the suspect, his group was simply trying to have a good time. And he argues that the other golfers and cart attendants played a role in how things escalated. >> So, we come up here to, you know, like lit right there straight. >> I guess their clubhouse, whatever it is, and I don't really remember how it started, but the one dude that I pushed got in my face, and to me, I felt threat. >> So, did you push him first? >> I did push him, but he was, you know, I I can't do it to you cuz you're a cop, but you know, he's in my cart. Okay. >> And I felt threatened, so I pushed him. And >> so were you sitting in a golf cart? >> I was sitting and he came up too. >> Yes. So I I did and I mean I might have been the problem. I I don't know. I got to me I felt threatened. I had my girlfriend here. >> Okay. Were you driving the golf cart? >> I was not. She was driving. I was not driving. I got up and I pushed him and I me being drinking not realizing he is an older man and he fell on his back >> and then his buddy I think it was the tall No, that's the guy that I pushed. Okay. Another gentleman that's not going to show came over to me and I think he hit I mean I'm bleeding. I You don't just bleed from bleeding. He did >> and he's saying he didn't. Everyone's saying over there they didn't hit me but I I stumbled and fell. So old man must have had a punch on him or I'm just one of the two. You can laugh you off. I fell into those trees lit into the trees and I got up and that's when I came after whoever hit me cuz I was pissed off in some Let me pause for a second. So you push him, he falls on the ground, you get out of the golf cart and then you feel somebody push you or did they push you in the face? >> So I got out of the golf cart when he came up to me and I pushed him. I did push him and I, you know, >> you got out of the golf cart. >> I did get out of the golf cart cuz at that point I'm already threatened. You know, I have a girlfriend with me. I'm not going to let no one touch her. So I got over you know I was you're over top of him and then I got hit or pushed. I don't know what. I I'm not going to try and tell you I hit him or I pushed him or he pushed me or hit me. I don't know >> what we're going to do right now. Okay, this doesn't mean you're going to jail. Okay, just based off the thing, I'm going to put you in the back of my car. I'm going to entertain you for right now. Okay, >> that's Turn around for me. My hands behind your back. >> Perfect. All right, >> we'll see. They might not even want to press charges, bro. You never know. >> They already said they're going to press charges. I might be alone, but it's okay. >> I appreciate you guys. That's all it is. >> All right, here. I'm going to take your golf club anymore in there. >> The suspect openly admits to assaulting the card attendant, though. He argues he only did so because he believes he was assaulted first. >> Hi again. Um, you have access to the video. >> We do. >> The camera is pointing this way. So, I'm not really sure where that happened. It might >> Are we able to see if it caught anything? >> Yeah. >> Let me talking to him. He's asking him. >> Oh, there it is. >> Oh, he's just talking to him. >> Look at She's pushing him away. Then here comes the other running over >> and it's Scott's running. That's Scott. >> Wow. >> Well, we see that he went after him, >> but he was defended his coworker. >> And now they're on camera. >> That looks bad. [laughter] That looks That doesn't look good on him. >> To me, it doesn't appear that he's being threatening to standing by him by the car. >> Ralph was just out of there talking to him. The kid came and pushed him. >> I'll go talk to the other officer real quick. >> You got all that? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay. >> How do I get these in front of me? I'm being nice. >> Okay. >> Get a picture of my my scratch. >> All right. Ready? >> I guess >> we'll be taking a sworn statement/ Miranda rightites from Aaron at this time. He is unable to raise his right hand. He has admitted to being intoxicated. And I am going to describe to him what perjury is. Perjury is is telling an outright lie or knowingly leaving all all or part of the truth in order to deceive or mislead the investigation. Okay? >> And that's what I did. >> Okay? So you don't have to raise your right hand. I'm going to read your Miranda. You have the right silent. Anything you say can't be used against you in court of law. Um you have the right to attorney if you cannot afford one will be appointed to you for your charge. Okay. Um do you understand these rights I've explained to you? I don't have to answer right. >> Do you understand these words I've explained to you? >> I'd like to speak with my attorney. >> The surveillance video leaves little room for debate and it quickly undermines the suspect's earlier explanation. >> So, this is regarding the battery from the other guy that hit you. >> But you said I hit him. >> Okay. You're in custody, so I have to read your Miranda versus a statement affidavit. >> I just still don't understand. The guy who hit you is a separate incident from the guy that >> But why am I in custody? He's >> cuz yours is a felony because he's older than 65. In the state of Florida, they're up to a felony. >> I still get hit by someone else. It's the same thing. >> Do you want to talk to me and give me a statement about the situation or not? I can let him go. It doesn't matter. >> Talk to an attorney. >> Talk to attorney. >> So, this is what's going on. So, we're trying to press charges on this guy. He has to give me a sworn statement, but I have to read him his Miranda rightites to tell me what happened. We already have the video. He's seen what happened. He's being charged on his battery. The only reason that he's going in cuffs is because the guy was older than 65, which in the state of Florida, that makes it a felony. The guy, this guy is getting charged with a misdemeanor battery against him. >> He's just not going in cuffs because it's a misdemeanor cuz he is not over 65. >> He has to go. >> He's still getting arrested. It's just a ticket instead of >> He's not going. >> It's a misdemeanor ticket. It's still an arrest. >> I got to go for 4 hours and then go home. Well, do you want to give me a statement or not? I'm trying to You want to charge it, guys? >> Just do it. >> Well, what was the other part about me supposedly lying or whatever? >> That's perjury. I'm telling you. >> I don't know what perjury is. >> That's why I explain it to you. Drinking. I can't explain to you what I don't know. >> Like, there's a whole video. >> So, let me tell you. >> Yes. I'm trying to be nice to you, but I'm getting pissed off because I don't remember everything. I'm trying to >> So, you say the best of your ability. I already know what happened, >> but I'm still being accused of lying. Okay. Is that right? I'm being accused of You're not being accused of lying. >> So then what's perjury? Me being accused of lying. >> No, it's not. What are you talking about? I >> perjury is knowingly leaving all out part or all the truth in order to deceive or mislead the investigation. >> But if I telling you what perjury is, stop. >> No, I'm getting pissed. So I don't care. I will not charge him. I really do not care. Do you understand? I >> Seeing the other man still free while he's being questioned only fuels the suspect's anger. I'm not talking. >> Do you want to give me a statement or not? I'm not playing this game with you. >> Sure. Sure. Okay. >> It's not going to work in my favor anyway. >> It is. We're charging him. >> I'm trying to be as honest as I can. >> So, we come up to the clubhouse and I said to her, I said, "Let's go with that girl. >> We didn't pay for it." >> Yes. But we never went. So, it's a if what if. And the guy came over and he said, "Hey, can I see your receipt for I don't I'm going to put words in his mouth. whatever you paid for it. And I think I said we only paid for nine. We're leaving. And then that's when he walked up on me. There might have been said I don't know. I don't remember. He walked up. I felt threat cuz I'm with her. No one I don't let no one touch her. He came up. I pushed him. He fell. I was being a I stood over top of him. I'm a idiot. And then I either got pushed, hit, or something. And then I got back up and I tried swinging and I think I missed him. I don't know if I hit him. I don't know if I hit it. Missed him. >> I felt blood. I was spinning it out. It's on my shirt. Scratched up. So, I'm assuming something happened. So, that is all that I know. And now I'm sitting in a hot car sweating. >> With a suspect's side of the story on record, the officer now turns to the other man involved in the incident. >> So, Scott, I'm going to tell you like this. We have enough evidence to charge you with battery. You have one of two decisions. You make a confession and you go around the route of an arrest preverse adult prereversion program. It's a short program where you attend a class in Port Charlotte. You pay a small, you may pay a fine, you may not. And then it's maybe a a couple day course where you might do community service, you might not. And as soon as you're done, this is expuned from your record and it basically keeps you from having a record. That's why we have this. Or it's I arrest you right now and I take you down to Charlotte County Jail to where you have to go down there. >> No, I don't want to go to Charlotte County Jail.
