on October 21st 2021 officers responded over a potential shoplifting situation at a local TJ Maxx come to find out this isn't her first time detective Franco with the police department put your hands she's trying to get in your car with the basket full of stolen stuff she was trying to get in my car yes she was she said you're her cousin you were waiting on her she didn't know I was going to steal though Central I'm out with that vehicle need another offic centrals car is occupied times three I said I didn't know I was coming to well that's fine I didn't say I was going to charge them they didn't go into the store but I'm going to figure out who they are I did go in the store I just T I'm saying you didn't steell nothing right no I'm saying you she stole all this stuff so I'm going to see who you are I'm sorry y'all yeah here go her iding so this is your car you just she just with you she was going in to ask about the job they had the hiring thing today and I went and got St out of one we don't know for sure is that male in the front the boy yeah it's something they got the same last name Franco say that one more time I said we were going in to apply for job that's that girl went in she she was he's like legally blind so he probably don't have like a criminal well you'd be surprised I've arrested people that's murdered people that are legally blind for real you want to take a quick look at a picture and you say that with her then I can tell you what we got but then again I'm cool with whatever you want to do how you well do you have something of our face like good of her face show me what you got a black feemale we a black jacket how much all this will be oh yeah this will be over 500 now they both got stopped at the door and we were covered the hair keeps stanging yeah that that looks like her nose to me this is one that's hit us more than the other I don't know who that is she's thinner yeah that kind of looks like that girl I it's hard to tell though run together it's hard to tell but does that look like her to you3 that nose kind of what was his date of birth uh he didn't he never would give it he can't push it I I don't think he's involved in anything I mean he could be a suspect in a in a shoplifting some of these I mean no that's not any of them be the ring leader of it all I told you did you think it was that guy no no the guy I sent you pictures of did you not get those I don't think so yeah I think we identify that guy he's in jail the we're not going to have good pictures of as far as terrible do you do you think that's her and the Calvin Klein I mean possibly you want to they left the name of sim well her name so that that's her I mean that nose looks the same I'd have to really study a picture and see but we can always identify that later so uh I guess we need to take this in and uh we're pretty sure she's been involved in something else correct this girl oh I see what you're saying I think she would probably be that well let's look at it inside do y can y'all still go theide said that she was waiting on signal for to come supposedly the other girl gave her the signal come well she just went in to like so that's probably what's going on here um they do have conversations with Associates all the time right friend what have convers yeah it would be hard for us to charge her with anything right now obviously we'll build some evidence against them and try um so can you bring her into the loss prevention you know we'll try to question her about it so we'll just take it all you can take your stuff and loss prevention start giveing me a price for all this and I'll let them go for now just follow me let me get my computer and just walk her up there all right so I'm going to park next to his car he's going to get uh he's going to get his computer and we're going to go inside back inside TJ Maxx into the Lost provision office okay so if I need to find you I can find you and you haven't been Walmart showed me a picture they asked me if I knew this person I was like oh I know her still haven't gotten around to signing all that stuff on you from Target no I'm but all the stuff before there nothing since then I'm talking about all the stuff before that all the TVs and stuff but he showed me that I was like I know who that is and I that's I don't know who that is that's who you was with I think I know who she is but I'm not sure but he showed me that and I was like even with the mask I know who that is that's you that not you I mean that's who I thought was you that's what I told him but so we're going to let this officer get back in here and you're just going to be booked for just felony shoplifting today does he the door I don't think so he hasn't knocked he had to run out to the 18th right just so you're aware I know you've gotten caught for shoplifting before I don't know what the amount was but you do understand like a felony is no less than a year is what is the definition of what a felony is so if you're hitting all these different stores and you're taking felon felony amounts each time I mean you could have 20 years for stealing stuff yeah you know I as well just be Hest yeah I know I mean I and and we appreciate that I'm just saying in the future once you get all this cleared up still it ain't it ain't it it ain't worth it because you got like I like I said you got ladies like this and and people at Bel and every store they have somebody that sits back in an office like this and just watches people like and they're good like they will see you if you even look like a little suspicious they will see it and that's it they may not get you when you walk out the first time or the fourth time but you can tell they know you know I mean in you want to get that back to us so you don't have to pay for that through restitution that helps you so if you know where where did you take it to your mom's house I had took one comter there that I weeks ago I had somebody almost uh get hit by a car running down Prince Avenue when they were in handcuffs and it was uh what they supposed to get a handcuff that's that's the he didn't understand that but and so the the car is going to be right over here I moved it so we'd be a little bit closer all right he's already searched you and padded you down and all that stuff right no he didn't search me but all I got is like some coins and like you don't have anything that I don't care about coins or anything yeah nothing that you're going to get a charge for at the jail like drugs weapons okay yeah you're good right well I will give you some credit a lot of the people that I arrest for shoplifting have like meth or drugs on them so good job for not doing that it would shock you how many times I have here I'm going to crack this yeah it's already cracked AC back there it would shock you how many times I've arrested someone for shoplifting and they've got a felony amount of drugs on them while they're shoplifting it blows my mind cuz you're already taking a huge risk right and then they just I don't know what this person is doing um they just add drugs into the into the mix it just don't it just don't make no sense to me like I understand doing what so like all right so before I was a police officer when I was in College you know like everybody's broken the law at some point obviously I never like did anything crazy but I always had a rule if you're going to break the law you break one law at a time right so like if you're going to speed a little bit just speed don't speed and be drunk right like you don't break multiple laws at a time and it reduces your chances of getting in trouble for it right so if you're going to like roll through a stop sign don't be don't have an open container when you do it like I don't know it just people baffled me when they when they had do like multiple different things they could get in trouble for at the same time it just doesn't even make sense to me but I say all that to say thank you for not having drugs on you how we doing hey I got one female thank you all right yeah I can open the door on that side here watch your hand I don't want to close it in there my bad I couldn't remember which side you went in on came in on that side but I had stretched my leg oh kicked your feet up I don't blame you things are uncomfortable as crap all right you I didn't bring anything right this is all that I brought all right I know I've said it before it's the last thing I'll say about it just don't don't take no more stuff it ain't it ain't worth it if you get out and you just have such a hard time not taking something cuz I know it's just kind of instinct you're like well I could you know but if you're just having a hard time with that just buy everything you need on on Amazon just cut out the Temptation right because it ain't it ain't worth it it's it's really not not for not for clothes and bedding items I got three shirts that I've been wearing for the same three shirts like when I'm not in this m I wear three or four shirts I've been wearing them for 3 years I nobody need a bunch of stuff they're they're they're about to take the handcuffs off it'll which side thank you that better I just don't want to see you back in here for this you know it's different if you like your boyfriend cheats on you or something you know like that's different I can kind of understand that but I just you know I just it's just not it's not worth it but that's all I'll say about it I'm not going right
