on October 20th 2022 officers were dispatched to the local Walmart once again in reference to a shoplifting in progress Walmart's loss prevention advised that the thief locked himself in the bathroom of the tire shop in front of Walmart hey when you got to go you got to go he's in the bathroom he's in the bathroom Okay well I'm just going to park right here 73 Central Tire Shop employee said he's in the bathroom now back to the store that's fine we'll come grab you in a minute this way Athens Clark County Police open the door now if you don't open this door we will get the key and drag you out come out now lock come out now 73 Central he's locked himself in the bathroom they don't have a key to him come out now attend for they do not never to Keyon give you my key try it doesn't look like there's like an actual key slot it doesn't look like there's a key slot it looks like maybe like a special tool oh okay I wasn't I wasn't provided anything we just have like yeah so wonder if my tool work black sweater or black shirt black guy yeah oh so I said he had a bag with him yeah backpack with something Square in it yep yeah um do you want to go grab that thingy I have a special tool that might work Nelly's coming so I don't know if it's going to work cuz of that lip hey so um employee said he's their door's locked I'm going to see if my special key to work they don't have a key to it but should be able I don't know if I can get into it of yeah probably not is he answering at all no he won't negative can you that it's going to be an older white male that is the suspect older white male this is a black male that's in the bathroom this an older white still not answering me he said he had a backpack with something Square in it hold let me go call her yeah I'm not going to do anything didn't see a white guy walking I didn't see a white guy walking toward yeah saw well she said walking towards the tire shop black shirt bluish pants it's only they're saying now it's a white guy an older white guy everything else it's in the descript it says is this a white male or black male we've been told both it's a white male he's wearing all black is this the old guy that's kind of hunched over I no he's kind of taller he um he has like no he has missing teeth all in the front Okay so older white M missing teeth in the front all a picture yeah if you don't mind you can do that for I'm trying to get a picture now he left all of his stuff up here here yeah if you don't mind we had a black Mill go into the tire store restroom but obviously that's not going to be the right guy oh my gosh okay there's a restro in the the actual tire shop too yeah that's where he's that there's a black Mill in here now at least she said he had all his teeth I think if you send a picture was verify when she see I wouldn't know his face but yeah okay all right give me second right we are no need L I got she said she that he left all the stuff up there he left all the stuff I think so but I out of the store instead of going lost prevention office yeah they're saying I tried to steal something and uh I just left the receipt back Atwoods and then they're like you know being I didn't even leave he's not liced no local no where do you live at now I'm homeless right now homeless you have a telephone number you being reached at or oh God uh a Wi-Fi number um I don't even have a memorized wait I think okay you would get voicemails if somebody call that number right yes yes yes all but have chance as well clear hold yep all right need you put the stuff down hands behind your back I'm answer anybody if you just said wait a minute hold horses something like that turns the car sorry all right I'm going to check his bag make sure here not supposed to have does have all right do you have anything on you that's going to stick or poke anything you're not supposed to have no I just the knife I got it out of his jacket oh one his person yeah at minimum you going they would be borrowing you from the whole shopping center I still don't understand why I'm being arrested I never stole I was headed up front they came to me and said come with me get inside sit down I'm going to park finishing a report it's what this is empty that right there it smells like mints or breath mints or was after dinner things I think that's what that is plus nothing else in there and I think the rest of this is just closed okay I'll put his knife back in the center pocket but there's nothing else I know I know heo that that lunch box are expens probably so but inside is just toilet all his stuff Raz and Stu he's had it for a little while it's not it's definitely going to be him he already got fre conviction um anyway so he lied about his name PRI conviction thank you you gave the right that happening shoplifting you shoplifting from us for before over and over and over you have such a history like I leave the store all right you didn't give me a chance I was going to ask you about
