The deputy suffered a bullet graze wound near his right eye and was transported to area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Harden faced multiple charges including driving while license suspended or revoked, providing false identification to law enforcement, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana under 20 g, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Authorities also pursued additional serious charges related to the shooting, including attempted homicide on a law enforcement officer. Harden suffered shoulder and hip injuries and was transported to area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Following the shooting incident, deputies and crime scene investigators recovered a firearm. The weapon was located near the patrol vehicle along with shell casings, a live round, and a magazine. The passenger in the vehicle, identified as a black male who provided the name Josh Walter, could not be positively identified at the scene. He was detained and monitored during the investigation, but no confirmed charges were listed in connection to this incident.
