so there'd be no like no reason why she'd be missing her side view mirror I no what about it are we going to press charges looking pretty good for having a stroke on March 23rd 2022 a caller reported a road rage incident that had just occurred between her and the suspect of today's video This is why it's best to stay calm on the road even though sometimes you just want to um never mind let's get into the video which vehicle is yours what's going on I had almost gotten into an accident but I didn't I break I got you but the guy was behind me I was like taking a left from the exit from the loop but I did I break he came up from behind me drove a little bit faster and then like sto in front of me okay and so I break again M he came out of the car and like knocked on my window and then before he left he had done that okay how did he do that he like I don't even know how but he like took his knee and then just started kicking and like kneeing it okay and where did this happen um right off the exit 9 L on Peter Street yeah okay so you're getting off on the Peter Street yeah okay did he like what happened after he struck your your mirror he went back to his car and got back on the loop I think okay and you said you have pictures of him yeah I not of him but of his car okay [Music] and then this is a like light brown Mercedes like I most definitely did not hit his car but yeah he would have actually stopped and waited for a police report if you had hit him yeah apparently he's an Emory mom sure he's kind of masculine for an Emory mom you have a driver's license on you yes what did he look like okay he's white he has a be he's a brunette he had a long brown hair that I think he had in a ponytail he was wearing a black T-shirt and um sunglasses thank you phone number for you 77 [Music] all right give me one second all right I'll be right back about how old do you think he was slightly older than me he's not old he's like mid 20s early 30s I guess mid 20s early 30s not old but not like 18 either okay all right this is going to be the case number I get off there uh my name badge number and then it's going to be the year month day and the last four is y so if you want to copy with the police report for like insurance or whatever else okay um I'm going to do a little bit of investigating um try and figure out who was driving the vehicle and possibly trying to interview that person but if you want to copy the police report they're typically wri about 5 seven business days okay sound good you have any questions for me what about it how do I take care of this um Auto Body Shop um you you just have to call you you can either make an insurance claim um for for cars like this typically like were there any like automatic sensors in the like did they give you like Blind Side detection like a little yellow does doesn't um a lot of times if you go to like a junkyard they will have old um side view mirrors and you pay them a couple bucks and they'll just hand them to you and you get find some friends know how to wire up cars and they'll actually just reinstall it for you or you can go to an actual body shop and have someone install like a new one for you or the dealership dealership would be able to do that as well all right sound good yep you any questions for me I don't know do I have to do anything did it cause any damage no no um this is just a road ra road rage incident yeah um it's all blows down to the charge of Criminal Trespass the property but regardless the behavior are acceptable and no one should have to put up with that right I was wondering if I had to do anything um no we'll reach out to you if you all right it's not good all right let's go you be safe have a good day hey real quick he was white um quick question are you interested in pressing charges for this that was an important question I meant to ask are we going to press charges yeah you go ahead and do it okay so we're pressing charges like if you if we make contact with this person we have probable cause to make an arrest you want us to arrest them should we arrest him yeah okay that's all you need to I need to go there do I need to to drive there now no she she doesn't need to do anything no do I need to go there tell me if I need to go drive to drive there the only problem is that I don't want to drive around with a broken mirror if you're uncomfortable with that I understand because it's dangerous is it the left or the right the left one good so what happened well I I was turning left as I was [Applause] urging Central hey Central it's 362 okay let me like my mom just wants to know like what the process is and what like I have to on my end like do I have to oh you'd have to go to court you have to testify You' like there would be a whole proceeding for that like there would be court dates you'd have to show up to um it would either go it's either going to get uh decided before trial or it may go to trial but um that's typically where if you're going to be a part of the process that's typically where how things go okay okay that sounds good to you yeah all right well we'll just call you if anything changes all right all right thank you yes ma'am the officer was able to find the Mercedes bins that the suspect was driving apparently it was his parents' car they didn't seem too happy with what their son did hello Mr Officer elswick just just the man I was looking for um your son home he is he is mind if I speak to him right now has he has he talked to you all about have you talked to him since our phone call no no okay um so hi hello uh I'll give you all the rundown um there was a little bit why don't you come in the house is that all right yeah I'll I'll talk to you guys first out here I'll go inside I'll speak to your son um there's a near Miss accident out on the loop um sounds like there was some miscommunication and someone's uh windshield got damaged so I just want to speak to your son figure out what what was going on there um and kind of kind of get his side of the story before before I make my final report sound good windshield huh yeah wind or sorry not windshield um side here oh okay yeah but yeah if you don't mind I'll step inside and speak just don't mind the laundry no no that's fine I got you you live in a tow everything's in the kitchen no I got you 36 Cent I'm on scene about to make contact oh thank you see y oh big happy puppy yeah well he's de and old okay he's hello IAL to him but he can't he yeah my puppy here thank you he's a great guard I bet everyone's a friend yeah he's getting him he's going to bring oh okay boy take you out yeah yeah he had a stroke a couple months ago looking pretty good for having a stroke luckily was home and he just picked him up and we went to wow the you know the emergency room at school and he was only there for a few days and we got to bring home his H quarters are real weak I gota but um other than that he's doing pretty good we he's a rescue okay my son got him when he was in college and uh he had heartworms when he adopted him and they think he was about 18 months old but we don't really know so he's 11 or 12 okay looking good for 11 or 12 for for a Big Dog yeah we lost uh the family dog to a stroke over Christmas well we just lost our other one month ago yeah I'm sorry to hear that 16 she was a Australian cow dog and um she just things just gave out she had I mean we had her for a long time so hey yes yeah you want to step outside and talk for a minute sure oh all right you uh you know why I'm out here today you have idea uh yeah okay um well tell me why well there's a I was going to there's a Crossroads the front of Dr 104 okay and uh so this lady pulled down in front of me as I was going through mhm she looked like she was about to go straight then at the last minute she turned left and I know there's people behind me but there wasn't anybody to the left of me in the lane so I pulled into that lane to go around her cuz she pulled right up in front of me yeah so uh I got into the left the next Lane over and then she pulls over into the left lane over so I like almost ran me off the road or out of that lane anyway so I pulled over um and she or I I wanted to see if I had any damage to my car and also asked her what if there was any like what did I do or what is wrong with her right she didn't roll down her window um so I just left okay um was any part of her vehicle damaged nothing I know no so there'd be no like no reason why she'd be missing her side view mirror I no um that's it see she's pulled over with her where was in relation to hers I just pulled around her okay pulled in off to the side of the road to the right side so you pulled in front of her I pulled I pulled in yes okay and then there wasn't anyone besid her and uh I mean that's where that was the lane I was in I just pulled out momentarily because she pulled right out in front of me okay so you pulled around in front of her so she was I'm in the back of the house I came through she pulled in and I just went around instead of slamming on my Braes okaye so then how'd yall stop I just I just went around her and I stopped in front of her yes okay so on on the loop not on the loop like on the highway yeah where where you at where you at when you stopped underneath the underpass you're on the underpass okay but you pulled in front of her and stopped your vehicle yes okay and then you got out of your car yes so you pull in front of her you stop your car you get out of your vehicle and you go back to speak to her okay and during that time she doesn't roll down her why wouldn't she roll down her window at that point though if she stopped with you I don't know cuz I pulled over and she didn't go around so I got out and glanced at everything and then she wasn't responding to me so I left you just left okay so I feel like there's something you're not telling me here have you been completely honest with me so far uh that's all I have to say that's all you have to say yes okay you wouldn't have to have any weapons on you right now would you no not might just lift up your shirt showing me you turn around and show me all right go Ahad and place your hands behind your back for me all right so you're going to be under arrest for uh aggressive driving and Criminal Trespass the property all right how am I trespassing trespass the property uh he's going to go to jail um he's probably going to bond out today um but this is your phone inside or you got in your pocket I have my phone what I have my phone okay so he'll be able to call you all right we're going to walk over this way stand in front of that back tire there in front of it yep it's right there sides of your wallet or sorry your uh phone your pockets or anything else set before I pull things out I need to know about I got a chap stick let's see chap stick okay maybe some headphones okay earplugs go back in your pocket going turn around take a seat for me aggressive driving 1095 and then uh trespass the property so the suspect was booked for Criminal Trespass damage to property and aggressive driving what do you think about
