How did he make you put the kids in the truck? >> Hey, Turk. Stop right there. >> Stop. On November 14th, 2023, officers responded in reference to a father allegedly pointing a gun at the mother of his children while she was holding their two babies. >> Hello. What's going on? >> Um me and my now ex got into a argument. So, I asked him to help me get the kids out of the kids out of the car, and he just exploded, got mad at me for no I don't know why. I don't know why he got upset. And then we went in the house, and next thing I know, he was arguing with me, "Don't question me. You don't pay the bills here. You don't do nothing. You're worth nothing." He just just started saying all this crazy stuff to me. And then he grabbed me and threw me on the ground and held me down, and I hit him cuz I was trying to defend myself cuz I was scared. And then I got up, grabbed my kids when he wasn't home, and grabbed my kids, ran in my bedroom with the kids. He came outside, grabbed his put his my gun out the car, and he kicked the door in. He was like, "Put the kids in the truck." He was like, "I will shoot you." And he held it like this like he was like he was going to want to shoot me. And I was like, "You going to shoot me in front of our children? Really? In front of our kids?" And I've never been through anything like this with him before. I don't know what happened. I just got the kids, and I put them in the truck. >> Okay. Is there damage to the door that you said he kicked in? >> Yeah. >> Can I come see it? He kicked this door in? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you locked him out of the house? >> Yeah. I told him to get out. >> Hi. >> Hello. >> Were you here when all this happened? >> Yes, his cousin. >> I mind his nephew. >> Okay. >> I was outside. >> Is this blood? >> Yeah. That's when I hit I hit him in his head. >> What did you hit him with? >> My head. >> So, what's bleeding? >> His forehead. >> Okay. >> Yeah. And um we were in the room, he threw me against the TV. >> Which is this damage from today? >> Yes, the TV, too. >> Okay. >> Broke the TV. >> Are y'all married? >> No, we're not married. >> Are the kids um his kids? >> Yes. >> How long have y'all been together? >> 5 years. >> 5 years? Where was he pinning you down on the ground at? In his room? >> Well, he has a man cave. It's in here. >> What's your last name and your birthday? >> 5 1 >> Okay, show me the man cave. >> Cuz I was live at the moment, and he got upset. He grabbed me. And first he threw me right here, and then he pulled me down right here on the ground and held me down. >> He ripped a wig off my head. >> Mhm. >> My wig glued down, so he took some of my edges out. >> When did all of this happen? >> It had to be like 6:00. >> Okay. Can I ask why you waited so long to call? >> I wasn't going to call, but my mom and my brother told me I had to give it a call. Okay. >> What's his name? >> Philip >> What's his birthday? >> 90 >> And where's he supposed to be right now? >> He's at his mom's house. >> Okay. And what's that address? Okay. What kind of gun is it that you're saying he has? >> It's in my name. It's I think it's a a 9 mm. >> You don't know what kind or color or anything like that? >> Do you have the box? Okay. Do you know what the brand is? >> I don't know. I came in here and I was like, "What Why are you talking to me like that?" And he was like, "Don't question me. Why are you questioning me?" And he grabbed me, he threw me right here, and then pulled me down here. >> Mhm. >> And then I hit him. >> Mhm. >> And he was holding me down with his with his um with his elbow on my neck like this. >> Was it Were you Was he Were you being choked at the time or no? >> And I like >> Like what Could you breathe or no? >> No, I couldn't breathe. He had me He held me down. And then I punched him. And as you can see the blood right here from his head. >> Okay. >> And well, no, I think >> Did you hit him with something or just your fist? >> With my fist. >> All right. >> Yeah, I hit him with my fist. >> And you made his forehead bleed? >> Mhm. >> Must have hit him hard. >> I I was scared, yeah. >> Yeah. >> So, yeah, and then it is really all a blur. I know I grabbed the kids and I went in the room and he's like, "You're not taking my kids." and this and this and that. And then I I locked the door in the room. And then he came in he First, he kicked that door in. After you went outside cuz I locked that door. And then I went in the room and locked that door. And then he kicked that door and then that door in. >> Walk me through which doors you say he kicked in. Is that blood or what's that? >> makeup or something. How are you? I'm having >> Hey. Hey, how are you? >> fought in here and then he That's when he threw me against the TV and I was like, "Well, I'm just done arguing with you. I'm not going to do this." And I went and got That's when I went and got my boys out there room cuz they were in their room watching TV. And I grabbed them. I don't know when he went outside, but I know he went outside, so I locked the door. His cousin was outside, so I locked them both out the door. And then I came in here and locked this door. And I heard that door open and then this door open. He kicked both these doors in. >> Okay. >> So, I don't it was it was all a blur. Everything just happened so fast. >> What happened? Did he grab you? >> And then that's when when he kicked the doors in, that's when he came in with the gun. >> So, he hit you first? >> Yeah, he pinned me down choking me. >> What's this liquid on the bed here? >> Water. He spilled water on the >> Okay. Are you bleeding on your head or anything? >> No, I'm not. I didn't bleed at all. Well, he scratched my nose when he hit my nose. >> Are you hurt anywhere else? >> No. >> Can I look at your neck? You said he was choking you and you couldn't breathe. >> Yeah, it was for like 5 seconds. >> Okay. Have y'all been having an argument leading up to this or >> Well, we've been going through some things. >> Can you give me any details about that? >> Well, he stayed out this weekend till about 6:00 in the morning. >> Mhm. >> And you know, I was upset about that. So, you know, since then it's we just been I'm I'm just tired of it. You know why I'm going to keep going through this with you? >> But the thing about it is he shouldn't have ever pulled a gun on you. He could have killed you. >> You think he's cheating or you just think that he was just staying out with friends or whatever and you weren't happy about that? I just don't know. >> I don't care. >> Where What you said before that he's a felon. What's he felon for? >> Um he had an armed robbery charge when he was 17. >> Okay. >> So, he went to prison for like about 10 years. But I think he got out on probation this year. >> Okay. He's not supposed to be around guns at all. >> Mhm. >> Okay. You know that, right? >> Oh, I know that. >> So, um he's been staying here with you >> Mhm. >> for 5 years, roughly? >> Yeah, we've been together 5 years. >> Okay. >> I got I got it about 2 years ago, maybe. >> Okay. So, even that's not allowed for him to be in a house with a gun or anything like that. Um >> made me put the kids in the truck. So, I put the kids in the truck. That was the last thing. Well, >> How did he make you put the kids in the truck? >> gun. >> Was he like holding it on you or what? Like pointing it at you? >> He wasn't He wasn't like really pointing it at me, but he was behind me with it. >> Mhm. >> You know, in his hand. And I'm like, you know, >> When he kicked this door in and he had the gun, what what did he do with it? >> He just pulled like this, I will shoot you. Put my kids in the truck. >> So, he was like using it to like talk or he was like pointing it at you saying like >> I will shoot you. Put the kids in the truck. >> Okay. >> And I was like and then he put it down by his side and I got up and I was like, you going to shoot me in front of my kids? He said, I will. So, I got them and I put them in the truck. >> Mhm. Okay. >> I don't want you to shoot me in front of my children. I don't know what mindset you're in because literally I don't know what happened when we got out the truck. >> Okay. >> All of a sudden you get upset about what? You know, I don't What's going on? Like And then he gets mad at me talking about some don't question me about what I'm doing. I'm not questioning you. >> Yeah. >> Like if you want to go somewhere, go somewhere and do something. I'm not questioning you about anything. >> Mhm. >> You know? So I don't I don't know. It's It's >> Okay. Anything I'm missing in there? >> I don't know. I don't think so. >> Okay. >> What about him punching you, Christian? >> I told him that already. >> Where were you when he punched you? >> I think we were in the room. >> You said he You said he scratched your nose, but I >> Wait, he hit me and he he was hitting me and I was hitting him in both rooms. >> Okay. >> I don't know. >> Okay. Um give me just a second. I'm going to step outside and talk to my sergeant for a minute. I'll be right back, okay? >> After everything the woman told the officer, the mother seemed too calm about leaving her children with the father after he was allegedly waving a gun at her while holding their children. So the officer decided to see if there was more to the story. >> and all that kind of stuff and you you said you wanted them back, so >> I'll let >> So what's the >> I'll let him, you know, keep him tonight so I can just get myself together. >> Christian, can I can I talk to you? >> Sure. And then, you know, I'll go get them tomorrow. >> So everything that we've talked about, there's a lot of criminal stuff happening here. Um and Be quiet, Steven. Who Who's on the phone? >> My brother. >> Your brother? Okay. We We need to go talk to him. Get his side of the story if possible. And I want to make sure the kids are okay as well cuz they just experienced a pretty >> different >> crazy like How do you know they're fine? >> They're fine. I know I know he's not going to do anything to hurt them. >> Okay. But he just pointed a gun at you in their presence, right? They were in your lap? >> Yes. >> And he's pointing a gun at you with the kids in your lap? That's very traumatizing, don't you think? >> Yes, I do. >> Yeah. Why are you leaving tonight if he's already gone? I'm just I'm just trying to figure all that out. You don't want to be here? >> I just don't want to be in this house. >> Okay. >> It's just too much. Too many memories. Yeah, I just want to go. >> Okay. >> want to be here. >> If we take your kids tonight, where are you going to end up being? Where's that at? So, you're not worried about getting them back tonight? >> No, I I'll get them. >> Why are you not concerned that he would do anything to them if he did all that in their presence? >> Cuz he don't care about me. But he cares about his children. >> Does I mean, to me that doesn't sound like somebody who cares about his children if he's going to commit all those acts of violence in front of them. You don't feel the same? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Part of me feels like you're trying to minimize what's going on a little bit, and I'm trying to figure out like what if there's more to what happened tonight that you just don't want to tell me. >> No. >> Well, you just told me he's put his hands on you before. >> I just want to get this over with. I just think this needs to be be done. >> I understand that, and I want to do right by you, and I want to do right by your kids, but uh a lot of that is going to have to come with you being cooperative with me and trying to get as much information as I can. So, is there anything else that I need to know about what happened tonight? No? You said he doesn't normally act like that, right? Or does he? Had he been drinking or doing any drugs or anything like that? No? I saw some scales and a grinder and stuff like that in his room. Is there Does he do any hard drugs? >> No. >> No? Is it just weed or what? Just weed? What is your momma's name? Does she live there by herself? She doesn't have a husband? Okay. How come you didn't want to call? >> I didn't want him to get in trouble. >> You didn't want him to get in trouble? Is that what you said? >> Mhm. >> Okay. Why not? >> I don't know what I guess it's just a part of me that >> There's no right or wrong answer. I'm just asking. >> I don't want my kids to lose their father, cuz I know that he's a felon, and and then he'll go back to prison. >> Mhm. >> And then >> Does the gun belong to him? >> No, to me. >> Where'd you buy it from? >> Um Academy. >> You bought it from Academy? Okay. You didn't know a whole lot of details about it. >> No, I mean I don't It just It stays in the truck. I've never held it or anything. >> Okay. >> I don't even know how to use it. >> You bought it, but it stays in his truck? Okay. >> Okay. He said that he was going to set up house checks at my house. >> Okay. Cuz I am going to go try to talk to him and um grab your You get your kids. >> So, what's going to happen to him? >> That depends on what he's got to say. You mentioned something before he was telling you that he's he's the only one that pays bills and stuff like that. Is that part of the reason you stay with him? >> Yeah, it is. >> She's the Can I get her to answer? >> Wednesday was part of the reason why I stayed with him, honestly. Um I love him. >> Yeah. >> So, even if he even if I >> Why I asked that is because there's resources for you if that's part of the reason you've been staying with him for so long through all of this treatment. >> of course there's reasons why, but I love him, too. I mean he do >> Yeah. >> But if I did have my own place and space and and and a job that I could, you know, a car, then it wouldn't be like this. >> Does he not let you work or something? Or you don't want to work or >> I want to work. >> Okay. >> But every time, like today, I was supposed to start a new job. I was supposed to go to work, and he was supposed to take me. And he We got up this morning, like, "You're not taking me to work. Call my mama. My mama take you." And I got to be at work in 30 minutes. >> Okay. >> You know? >> Where were you supposed to start today? >> At Waffle House. >> Okay. Which one? >> Um the one on Atlanta Highway. >> Okay. Um how long has that been going on? >> The working? >> The The him kind of messing up you being able to get a job. >> forever cuz I was working at public distribution and then I needed him to help take me to work because my car messed up. >> Mhm. >> You know, his mom let me use her car for about a few days and then, you know, she was like she needed it and then I was like, "Well, can I just use the truck to go to work?" >> Mhm. >> No, of course not. But then he always turns around and say, "Well, you don't pay no bills." >> When's the last time you you you were able to have a job? >> Um back in June. >> June? Do you feel like he uses that as a like a a way to control you? The fact that you don't can't get a job and make your own money? >> Yes, he definitely does. >> Okay. >> He definitely does. >> What makes you think that? >> a landscaping company and um I work with him doing the landscaping. I do everything with him. I helped build it. I helped fund it. I bought trailers and things, especially when I get my income taxes when y'all give it to him so he can build his company, but every time it's always like, "You ain't nothing. You don't do this. You don't do that." You know, and and I'm basically a single parent with the man cuz I take care of the kids. He don't help me with them. >> What's it like when you do need money to be able to get money from him? Can you walk me through that process of like like if you needed something for yourself or for the kids, like how do you go about buying that? >> I mean, I'll ask him, but it'll be like pulling teeth, you know, like if I need to get my hair done, I can't pay somebody to do my hair. I have to do my hair myself or like if I need toiletries or something, he'll be like, "You need to get a job. Get your own stuff." But he'll he'll pay for it. He'll buy it. >> Mhm. But he makes you like feel bad about it. Okay. >> Everything he makes you feel bad about. >> Um I'll tell you that there's a federal fund in place for victims of family violence that has millions of dollars in it allotted to help people in situations like yours to where you you are stuck with somebody who treats you that way because you don't have the finances to be able to get away from him. Um I know there's other things in play. Like I understand you have kids with him. You don't want to break up the family. You You have feelings for him, things like that. But this not a healthy environment for you or your kids. That's not something that they should ever have to witness what happened tonight. Um so if getting you back on your feet financially is going to help you make sure that your kids are safe and that you're safe, then I I think that you should reach out to I understand that you want to keep your family together. I do. Your kids are going to be better off and you are better off not having to experience things like that. Cuz they see that kind of stuff, it's going to traumatize them forever. It's going to cause a lot of problems for them later on. >> Officers were able to track down the father at his mama's house. Now we'll be able to hear his side of the story. Here's how that went. >> Remind him that we're outside, his truck is out here, that we just need to talk to him, and he just needs to come out and speak with us. >> When we get up closer, I'll transition to less lethal. >> All right. >> Hey James. James, show me your hands, man. I just need to make sure you don't got anything in them other than your phone. All right. All right. Walk over here towards me. Just walk over here to me, okay? >> On you. Hey turn Stop right there. >> Stop. >> He's fine. He's fine. He's fine. Come over here to me. He's fine. All right, man. Come on here. >> Can I get my keys from my truck? >> Yeah. Yeah. You're good. You're good. All right. Just turn around. Right now you're being detained. >> I was going to go get my keys from my truck. >> We'll We'll handle all that in just a second, okay? Stop. Stop. Stop. What's wrong with your hand? >> My hand. She messed my hand up doing that. >> Okay. >> Easy now. Relax, man. I don't know if it's broke or jammed or what. >> 95. If you'll sit back over there, we'll come talk to you in a minute. Sit back over there, please. >> Ma'am, if you don't mind stepping back that way. We'll we'll let you know what's going on in just a second. We just got to handle some business first. >> All right. Yeah, you got two juveniles in there. I'll come in and speak with you in just a minute, okay? >> Just take care of them, please. >> All right. Let me grab this knife off of you. You got anything else on you I need to worry about? >> No, man. I have my wallet and my keys. Can you give me my keys, please? >> We'll we'll handle that in a second. >> Put your chest on the back of this car, right here, boss. >> We search him, please. >> Anything on you that's going to poke me or stick me? >> I don't believe so. >> In a second, I'm going to read something to you and you'll have the opportunity to speak with me if you want to, okay? >> Yes, ma'am. >> And we'll talk about some more stuff if you if you want to, okay? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Been in landscaping a long time? >> Yes, ma'am. >> You like it? It's some hard work, ain't it? >> It is hard work. >> Yeah. Is work slow right now with the cold outside? >> It is good now. >> Yeah. It's like that every every time this time of year? >> Yeah. Unless you got like commercial Oh, excuse me. Unless you got commercial contract. >> Okay. You got any of those? >> Not not for the room. Not Not. >> Not for this year? >> No. >> All right. Just slide in for me. Might be easier if you sit. Yeah. There you go. All right. I'm going to close this and roll the window down so we can chat, okay? I'm going to read this to you real quick, all right? Okay. Because you're in handcuffs, um you actually do have some arrest warrants that you're under arrest for at this moment. So, you have the right to remain silent. Do you want to speak to me about what's going on? >> No, I don't even know what's going on. >> Well, I'm happy to explain stuff to you and I would like to ask you a few questions, but you you just have to let me know if you're okay you're okay with talking to me. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Okay. >> Are the kids home? >> Are we home, where? >> Are the the kids home? Are they here? >> Yes. >> Okay. Are they all right? >> Yes. >> May I come inside and just make sure that they're okay? >> Yes, that's >> Okay. You you have no idea why we're here with you right now. >> No, you He you had warrants out for me. No, I don't know what you >> I just signed some warrants tonight. Do you You don't know what that's for? >> I'm probably talking about my my baby mother. >> Okay. Can you talk to me about that? What happened with her? >> I mean, as you clearly see, my eyes busted up, my hand is busted up. I mean, she She does what she always do. She gets mad when I tell her I'm going to leave her room. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, she goes off the rails. >> Okay. So, do you mind starting from the from the beginning regarding that and telling me like walking me through the argument and all that between you two? >> Where Where is PJ? PJ! >> I'm in here. >> What are y'all in there? Come out of there. Shut the door. >> Hey, y'all. How y'all doing? >> What are your names? >> I don't know. I told her I forgot I told her to do something. >> Mhm. >> And she came with something slick. So, yeah, I was like, you know what I mean, right? You know what I mean, you know what I mean, you not going to do nothing around here. >> Mhm. >> If I don't do it, it's not going to get done. So, >> Mhm. >> you know what I'm just going to go find somebody who will do it. I walked off and walked into my room and she was like, "What?" And I said it again and I said, And you know, she swung up on me, hit me in my eye. She swung again. I tried to block her. And I don't know what happened to my thumb. It's I don't know if it's jammed or broken. It's really sore. >> Yeah, it's like right there. >> Okay. >> know if it's broken or jammed. I don't know what it is. It's stiff. I was telling y'all when y'all putting the cuffs on. >> You're going to be an athlete when you grow up. >> So, I pushed out the room, you know what I mean? She's still throwing stuff at me, throwing water, throwing bars, >> Mhm. >> throwing anything she can get her hands on me. And I told her I'm taking my kids. >> Mhm. >> And I'm like, I'm I'm I'm just done with this. I'm done with you. I'm taking my kids. I'm going to go. You know what I mean? I tried to get the kids. She was trying to grab them from me and I told her like, "Listen, stop playing with me. I'm taking my kids. You're not going to" >> Yeah. >> You know, you can't even I I I said some hurtful things. I told her she can't even take care of her of her other kids cuz she has two other kids before me. >> Okay, she does. How old are they? >> 11 and 12 and 13. 11 Between 11 and 13. They're one They're one year apart. >> Okay. How old are your babies? >> Uh two or three. >> Two or three. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um okay, what happened after that? You said you were going to take the kids. >> Yes, and I I called my mother, told her like, "Hey, can you please come over here? This woman is I don't know if I'm going to get locked which I clearly am getting locked up and I'm going to end up getting locked up. Can you please come over here?" You want some, Shane? >> [crying] >> Boink, there you go. You want one? >> Before my mom even got over there, she went back inside and then I dashed off out of the home. >> You dashed off? >> Yeah, I didn't show up I took the kids. >> You took the kids? >> Yes. >> What happened to the front door? >> She tried to lock me out. >> And so what happened to the front door? >> That only way I can get in. I mean I >> Okay. What happened to the bedroom door? >> She tried to lock me out. >> Okay. And was she in there by herself? >> No, no, she had the keys. She had She had took the keys and ran in I want to say she took the keys and ran in the room tried to lock me outside. >> Okay, so you kicked the door open? >> Yes, ma'am. >> And both doors? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. What happened to the TV in your bedroom? >> I'm there I don't know I that she probably tore everything it probably stuff cut up and ain't no telling what's going on there. Not not one cent of anything in the home that she paid for everything is paid for by my expenses. No way I would go through damaging my own stuff. >> You what happened about the job she was supposed to start today? >> What job? >> She said she was supposed to start a job today. You know anything about that? >> Uh she didn't she didn't go to work. >> Yeah. >> I mean she's she's >> Does she have a way to get to work? >> It just It just adds on to the loudest stuff of while I was done with her. For instance, she had $40 that I gave her. And instead of, you know, buying her shoes which she knew she needed for a new job, she got wine. >> Mhm. >> So. And then expecting me to go back and I need shoes today. >> Okay. >> Well, she had money. Why you I'm not paying for them. If you can't pay for them, you had money. I know for a fact you had money so why can't you buy shoes? >> Mhm. >> I don't want to look at me. >> Couple of junior detectives in here. >> That's what I'm talking about. >> We just wanted to make sure that they're okay. Does that make sense? >> Yeah. And I've seen them. They seem to be in good spirits. They don't seem to be hurt, which is good news. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Are you uh are you like grandma to the little one or like >> Yeah. >> Got you. >> That's my son. >> Your son? Got you. What can you can you tell me about what happened? I'd like to hear your side of things. >> know that they got into an argument. >> Yeah. >> That's what he said. Like he said, he said he he text her a little while ago and apologized. He said cuz I he said I was hard, so I shouldn't said something. >> Yeah. >> He said, but I was tired and he said just hit me the wrong time. >> Uh-huh. >> You know and He said just went from there. He said and I said some things and she and he said he told her somehow he's a he was going to leave her or something. She said and said she just went off and said, "Oh, you going to leave me?" >> Mhm. >> And you know cuz he's got a gas over the side. >> Yeah. >> He said, "Mama, he said, you know this has been going on for 4 or 5 years." >> Yeah. >> He said, "I have to take care of everything cuz he has his own business." >> Yeah. >> And he said she don't want to go out of work. She don't want to do anything and she has two other girls that she's not taking care of. She don't raise them. Their father's mother and father have them. >> Does she own a firearm? >> I believe so. >> You believe so? >> really sure. I It's been so long since I've seen it. >> Okay. >> But I believe she does. She cuz I remember way back when when we had broke up, she was saying something about it, but I was over a year over a year ago probably. >> So at any point tonight did you see a firearm? >> No. >> Not in the house at all. You didn't have one. She didn't have one. >> No. >> Okay. And anything else I need to know about what happened tonight? >> So what am I getting locked up for first of all? Cuz you still have you I mean I know you said I have a warrant, but you haven't told me what I'm being locked up for. >> Yeah. So um she also has a bloody nose. Do you know how that happened? >> As you clearly see when she went to hit me, I had to push her off me. So I'm you know I am a man. I did When I saw when I pushed her, it might have hit her in the nose and you know, I don't know but she clearly you can see she she can hit. She ain't no little uh Yeah, so I had to get her up off of me, you know what I mean? So I mean if I if I hit her nose or brushed it or something, you know, and cuz it's easy to bust somebody's nose. You can just brace brush it the wrong way and it So I mean possibly did it. I'm not sure. >> Okay. >> She wasn't bleeding when I left though. I mean not like no a bloody nose. Yeah, so I mean I don't know. >> So right now you're under arrest for two counts of aggravated assault as well as two counts of kidnapping and uh >> Kidnapping? >> Mhm. >> How can I kidnap my own kids children? >> Y'all have never been married, yes? >> No. >> Did you legitimize them? >> I I signed a birth certificate. >> That's not legitimizing them. You have to go through a process in the courts. Um so the way Georgia works if unless you're married and unless you haven't legitimized the children, she pretty much has the rights to them until you do those things. >> Oh, let me let me get this straight. So you're telling me that the kids that I pay for everything for, that I provide everything for, that I house everything for, I kidnap them? >> That's how Georgia law works, yes, sir. >> Get out of here, man. Get out of here, man. >> That That's what you're being charged with right now. >> So I have a question. So am I Are you going to charge her with what what aggravated assault as well? >> For what? >> My eye, clearly. >> For punching you? >> Clearly. >> At the most that would be battery. >> Well, so hold on hold on so why So hold on, let me ask you this. Let me get this straight. You said she got a a bloody nose or whatever she had. I have a a clear-cut, not no well you it takes force to put this cut on my eye. I would probably need stitches. So you're telling me I'm getting an aggravated assault for a bloody nose? >> No, the So the circumstances are that you pointed a gun at her and took the kids at gunpoint. >> Oh, no. >> Along with >> Get out of here, bro. >> Well, you asked me, so I'm telling you. >> Get the freak out of here, man. >> And that you choked her. Um so those are the two aggravated assault counts. Also, you're you're convicted felon. I know you know that, so being in possession of a firearm is also an additional charge. >> Okay, >> I hear you say that. >> me more charges that you I have to be in possession of a firearm to be charged with possession of a firearm? You have This is what I'm asking you to sit here and tell me charges when you don't have no proof of nothing. You just going off what somebody I can sit here and say she pointed a gun at me. >> You can. But you didn't. >> Because I'm not going to lie about nothing. I'm not emotional. >> Okay, I I understand. Hey, so when we came we came over here about an hour ago looking for you and the kids and you weren't here. >> I was going to get diapers first. That I don't have. My babies are have dookie on them. >> where'd you go to get diapers? >> Publix. >> I have a problem with her not having her kids. >> Yeah. >> I mean cuz I think I mean I'm a mother myself. >> Mhm. >> And I'm not going to let somebody else raise my kids. >> Right. >> I'm going to do what I got to do. >> Take care of them. >> That's right. >> Mhm. >> And and she don't she used to do that. She let them stay there with her grandparents. >> Yeah. >> I think she uses them as a tool. >> So like manipulate him? >> To try to keep him. >> Okay. >> I said, "And if y'all can't get along, y'all need to go your separate ways." >> Mhm. Are they like married or anything or is it they just share the children? >> He won't marry him. >> Okay. >> And he said, "I feel like I'm I'm raising three kids." >> Mhm. >> You know, she think she's got to be everywhere he is. >> Right. >> That's the problem. If you don't want to go work because you got to be right there seeing exactly what he's doing. Cuz if he's not with her 24 hours then he's doing something. >> Oh, okay. So it's not like an attachment thing. It's more like she's like suspicious or something or paranoid. >> All the time. >> Okay. >> Yeah, she's uh she's just always [music] just like he's he's doing something. He's he's going to be doing something. >> Okay. >> You know, and and she's got to be watching him. And I like I told her, "That's not That's not a relationship." >> Right. >> If you got to be with somebody like that, you don't need to be with them. >> Mhm. >> You got to have trust. >> Mhm. >> Did you go anywhere else? >> I saw somebody. >> You saw somebody? A girl? Okay. No I don't I I don't care, man. No judgement from me about that. Were you with her for a long time? >> No, it wasn't long at all. >> Okay. Just hang tight for me for a second. >> That's still not This is not This is crazy. >> Okay. Just hang tight for me for a second and we'll talk some more in a minute, okay? >> way in the world you try to hit me with kidnapping. >> I mean, cuz she's asked her mama was, "Can I come and stay with you?" >> Mhm. >> So, and her mama told her, "No, you you're going to have to figure it out. >> Yeah. >> You're going to have to work it out with Phillip. >> Mhm. >> He pays all the bills, so you just going to have to deal with it." >> All right. >> I mean, what kind of mother tells her daughter My mama, before she passed this year, she had told him that he needed to go get a um get them legitimized. >> All right, yeah. >> Cuz you know, you know, they're not married, so she told she said, "Phillip, you need to really need to get them legitimized." And I'm I'm at fault, too, because I tried to make them work it out, you know, for the babies and stuff. But like I tell them, if it's if it's going to be that bad or whatever, y'all just need to before they get old enough to know the difference. >> He had an altercation earlier between him and his baby mama. Do you know anything about that? >> Yeah, cuz I went over there. >> You went over there? >> there to pick him up, cuz he called me and asked me to come and get him. >> Okay. >> Cuz they had got into it and stuff. >> Did you ever make it over there? >> I went over there, but he had already left. >> Okay. Basically, there was a bunch of allegations made. There was a a pretty violent interaction between the two of them. Um there was a firearm involved that he allegedly took the kids at that point. Um and brought them, I guess, here. Did he bring them right here after all of that? Okay. So, he is going to jail for that tonight. The kids are going to go back to her. So, I'm going to take the kids tonight and get them back to her. >> Cuz I asked her, I said, "What happened to your eye?" She said, "What? What Christian did to look." >> Yeah. >> You know, and he's not going to lie to me about it. I mean, he told me exactly what he did. >> She has a bloody nose and she has some other There's a whole bunch of stuff in the house that is like just chaos. The TV's broken. Um she said he threw her into the TV and there's a whole bunch of other stuff going on. Basically held her at gunpoint to take the kids from her. Um so that's the allegations that's being made. That's what he's going to jail for tonight. Did he mention anything to you about a gun tonight? >> He didn't say anything. She did. >> She said he had a gun. Okay. >> I didn't um >> He said he he said she owns a gun um but that's the most he would tell me. So I was just curious if he mentioned it to you. >> Yeah, I know she owns a gun. >> Okay. >> I mean cuz I wasn't there. >> Yeah. >> Um she said it that he had he pulled a gun on her. >> I was just curious what he if he had mentioned anything like that to you. >> Yeah, he didn't he didn't tell me out of his mouth that he pulled no gun on her. Okay. >> But she did. >> Okay. >> And and I said, "What?" Cuz I was getting on to him about it. I said, "You pulled a gun on her?" He was like, "What?" >> Yeah. >> You know, I don't know. >> Okay. >> Cuz we don't have no witnesses to say who did what. I mean, yeah, they were fighting. >> That's what my dogs do every time I clean up. Toys go right back out of the bucket all over the floor. Hey. >> The babies were returned to the mother with no incident.
