How long ago did you take it? Right before I ran into you. I was going to get cigarettes. I had just smoked. This is on me. No, that's all down there. I don't feel like I'm on here. Whoever else is inside, come downstairs. It's the police department. I'm asking nicely. You have 30 seconds to come downstairs before I come up and get you. Geez, man. I was sleeping. Is Sparkles here? I mean, you just came from upstairs. What do you mean you don't know? I swear. What's your name, ma'am? Uh What's your name? I don't know. Manika. Manika? Manika what? What's your name, man? Oh, yeah. Do you need an ambulance or not? I wasn't running. I ain't going to lie. 94 Central, roll you in this my way. Reference the same 41. Where was it at? In my back pocket when I seen him. You threw it out? Yeah, I was going to hit him in my head and let him know if I dropped it, he was going to pick it up. So, where is it at? [ __ ] it's in me. You swallowed it? Killed me. Foil and all? I don't know. It went in foil. Um baggy? It was in a wrap. It's just a wrap. Okay, so you thought swallowing it was a good idea? Yeah. I didn't know I was going to get charged with it. All right. He swallowed That's not a good idea, you know that, right? I don't want to get charged with it. Uh so, I saw one guy run back inside, and then by the time I walked around, two were running that way. So. No. Certainly having no use for this, either. This is the house we continually come back to. Hey, so a few days ago, I was out here in at apartment 128 and doing a search warrant. Um the resident Sparkles has a couple warrants here out of our county. And when I was out here the last time, there were about 11 people that were inside the apartment. Uh none of which resided there or even resided in the complex. So, we had a lot going on with that. So, we weren't really able to to really coordinate with you guys as far as if you wanted to bar anyone or not. But, I'm back out here this morning trying to make contact with Sparkles again cuz she still has the warrants. Two guys ran from me, but we caught them. And then there are a few other people inside. Uh I just wanted to know if you wanted to bar anyone or what you wanted us to do with them, if anything. Bar inside or send them to jail? Okay, that's what we'll do. Sounds good. Thank you. So, basically the guys that ran, they don't have any warrants or anything. They're just users. I think that's why they ran. Probably going to do loitering and prowling and obstruction on them. And then we're going to bar basically everyone that's in that apartment that doesn't supposed to be there. But, I'm still trying to see if Sparkles is inside cuz she still has warrants. Have you been identified? Did you get a Okay. Where do you live at? I'm in my sister's house right here. All right. Tell you what's going to happen. Management for Athens Gardens is coming out here and they're going to bar basically anyone that's not supposed to be out here. All right. All right. No, I understand, but yeah. Rob Robin's here to talk to you. Yeah, I know. She ain't Yeah, I know. >> If she ends up not wanting to bar you specifically, then that's fine. All right. That don't matter. You got to be careful with the people you hang out with, all right? This apartment is not a good apartment to be at. I'm not accusing you of doing but basically anyone that hangs out here is more than likely a user. Hence the two guys that tried to run from us. I don't know. They ran out the front door. Yeah, right before we knocked on the door here. Exactly. People coming in and out this entire That's what I'm saying. You got to be careful coming here cuz people come in and out. Nobody knows who who is. All right. To your knowledge, is there anyone else upstairs? To your knowledge, that's what I was asking. Okay. All right. Uh we're going to do a safety sweep. All right, we're going to check and make sure nobody else is in here, okay? Clark County Police Department. If anyone else is in here, better let me know now. Otherwise, you're going to get a gun to the face. It's the police department. If you're inside, make your presence known. Do it now. I'm going to check this first room on the right if you'll hold on. Police department. If you're inside, come out. Do me a favor. Hold long on this bathroom. I'm going to I'm going to unlock it. So, get in the hallway. Get in that other bedroom. Who tried Who tried to jump on me and jumped me and bro last night, right? Did Did those folks that tried to jump on you dress like cops? I I didn't see no cops, I mean, really? I didn't see no cops. You didn't see no cops. What you running for then? I don't know. When I saw So, you ran? Yeah, basically like like that. Like when I seen cops like sympathetic running, when I seen cops, y'all right there. Okay. That's when I stopped. Like oh [ __ ] They go to police then when I hit the ground. Well, that's probably a good movie. Yeah, yeah. Y'all love to shoot black folks. I don't like shooting anybody, but I don't like people breaking the law either, so we can agree to disagree on that. Now, you do when you run, you told to stop, so hopefully you can cool off for us. Well, that's good. belongings. Clark County Police. If you're inside, come out. All right, I'm going in. Hey Sparkles. How you doing? I said you're going to get a gun to the face. But, it's not in your face. Can you go 10-26? Yep. Turn around for me. Step out. Turn around. It's a felony, actually. What's a felony? It's the one step higher than misdemeanor. 67 search warrant 10-26. Let's go out. Hold on. We're going to make sure they don't get tatted, all right? Where they at? Yeah, just give me a second. Safety sweep. We know you're inside your apartment. The warrant is listed at this address. We're just going to get your shoes and we're going to get out of here. We'll take you to jail, you get your warrants taken care of, and you'll be right back out. You follow that officer right there. Happy you. Hold on to you just so you don't fall, okay? Hey, is everyone else good? Yeah, everyone else is fine. Well, we're going to bar them. Okay. So, maybe like 5 10 minutes. Anyone that's not supposed to be here, either they're going to be barred from the entire complex. So, like if you still invite them over, that's fine for them to be in your apartment, but they can't be hanging around outside. Does that make sense? They're not hanging around outside. Well, yeah, but I'm not saying that they are right now. I'm saying that in the future, if they are hanging around outside, that's not what management wants. At the When we were out here last time, it was a misdemeanor, but since then whatever happened, it's now a felony. Anything on your person that's going to poke me or stick me? Okay. I'm going to hold on to this and this. Have a seat. I don't know. I'm not your probation officer. All right. Let's go get this taken care of. chased you? Yep. He's barring you from this property, okay? for 2 years. Who barred me? Yep, from management. I know you You live there, right? What? So, you can live there. You can't go be roaming around here. Playground and stuff like that. So, I can't even take my son to the to the playground? Unless management says otherwise. Right. Right. You get that in writing and they give it to us. Right. But, that's going to be their stipulation, not ours. If you want to go ahead and let them know. All right. My name is Wanda. I'm going to bar you guys for approximately 2 years. It means you cannot be back on property, not on the common areas, not near the playground. You cannot be on property. If you are on property, I'll call the Clark County back out and we'll prosecute you for trespassing. Thank you, ma'am. And they're leaving now. All right, thank y'all. You don't need a case card or anything? No, sir. Okay. So, technically after being barred, you're if you're invited to an apartment, you can go. But, you can't like loiter outside. If you go inside, I think that's fine until you get out to the ride. So, hey. What is uh your name? He's your boyfriend, is he not? No. He's your boyfriend, is he not? Yeah, but he ain't my man. Oh, little something something. One boyfriend? Yeah. What was your name, man? D a r i o n. And birthday? Same too. 5561 by name and date of birth. You have an ID with you by chance? Okay. I didn't hear it, man. Like I said, I didn't see you in the car. That's why I was asking. Hey, but I thought it was just a sec. I'm still waiting on them to run your name. I didn't hear it, man. And like I said, I got to identify you till you get get that barring taken care of. Once we get that taken care of, you'll be on your way. That's all we got. As far as I know, anyway. But, I don't want you walking away and me having to run after you. That's all. But, y'all had to, too. Y'all get picked up or whatever. Got you. Uh I got you. So, you just got out? Yeah, I just got out. What was it from? It was from the county. Was it from Athens? Yeah. Okay, I got you. Do you have any warrants anywhere else? No. Okay. Would you know if you did have warrants? I don't know. I I had a warrant tomorrow, but they they they released that one. >> I got you. Okay. I had one tomorrow. They released me. Okay. Well, if you do, and I don't I don't know that you do cuz I'm still waiting on the name to come back. If you do, we'll go ahead and take care of that today, if you do. Um just telling you this ahead of time. That way we don't get into some silly chase like we just got into with other people. Um cuz I don't want to add another charge on you if that's the case. You know what I mean? The suspect had the bright idea to use his brother's identity, but what this idiot didn't know is that his brother has a warrant for his arrest. I'll be valid out of Oconee County. So, we'll take you to Oconee County. Oconee's going to meet us. You go straight to theirs and then you'll get taken up there. So, you don't have to wait for them to come pick you up there. Did you know about it? I just got out. I had to talk to the police I just got out. >> Okay. That's what they were saying that Oconee said they'd take you, so But, I think they're all misdemeanors. While putting him in the patrol vehicle, officers noticed a man hanging out in the backseat of a parked vehicle. What are you doing in there, man? Huh? Are you living in here? You're not living in here? Well, the car has flat tires. It looks like it's been sitting here for a hot minute. So, does it belong to you? Huh? Your aunt's? You look like you're living in here. I'm just I Do you not have anywhere else to stay? You're not staying with your aunt? What's your name, man? Huh? Stacy what? 5561 run name date of birth for me. Your birthday? 97? What's your aunt's name? Okay. She let you stay here? Yeah. She don't let you stay inside. Okay. Why is that? I'm Okay. I got you. You really got huh? I need to move out, dude. I understand, man. I just saw you I saw stuff in the car and I saw you moving around in it, so that's why I'm asking just what's going on. It's kind of odd cuz like I said there's uh it didn't look like it's moved anywhere and that's strange. >> Yeah, she's selling she's selling [ __ ] in the car, so she's >> Okay. I don't know if she's going to be able to sell it in this condition. Can you type over here? What did you say your aunt's name was again? Terry. Terry Terry what? What was that a cut straw? Huh? No, it ain't for drinks, man. That straw that small ain't for drinks. I know that. You need to know that. You got anything on you? When was the last time you used? Meth. All right, can you go ahead and step out of the car for me, man? Man, you don't look you look very good. Yeah, I just got out. I mean, you looking like you need some eat eat some eat some food. I'm sorry. I'm trying to eat. Okay. Okay, man. Uh you got you got a warrant? So, we're going to go take care of that, okay? I don't have a warrant. Yeah, you do, man. We're going to change my name back. Uh what is the warrant I don't know. They just said it was confirmed with 600. Is there anything else in the car? You got a phone or an ID or anything you need to take with you? No. Nothing else you need? Okay. I don't know what you're on, man, but you got to stop using it cuz you ain't looking so hot. What did you get the stitches for? I fell. You fell? Yeah. Okay. When was the last time you ate something? Uh since the beginning of the week. I woke You ate some yesterday? Uh yeah. Okay. Well, walk this way. What's your poison? Huh? What do you normally use? You know people dropping like flies and from using that stuff. Yeah. You got in any kind of program to help get out of that or does that interest you? Yeah, trying to get out of it. Yeah. It's a struggle, I know. If you keep using it, it's going to catch up to you. It looks like it already is like you ain't got much left to to be caught up with. I got to search you before I put you in my car. So, just stand here in front of it. You got anything in your pockets that's going to poke or stick me? Cut me? Okay. Easiest way is face me cuz you're tall and sit straight back and then you can scoot and keep your feet on the seat if you need to. The other suspect finally decided to come clean about his identity. That's not your name? My name's Christopher. I just nervous. I was You wasted our entire time for that? >> Cuz look, I I I just got out on the murder charge, bro. You gave us a fake name. We got a name and date of birth for you. Wasted our time, man. I didn't know what y'all were doing, man. It's Christopher 12 10 of 90. >> Nice. I know. Oh, you looked at a picture. I did. It looked like him. Who's the guy that name you gave? >> my brother, man. >> That's your brother? I did just get out, though. This joker. Do you have any warrants? >> I don't know. I just got out for a murder charge. If you don't, then you're going to jail for being an idiot. Sir, I was scared. I didn't want to No, you don't have any. What he doesn't have warrants. >> had a murder charge. Christopher Yeah, that's definitely him. The other one looks like an older picture. >> I trusted you. The other one looked like Let me see that one. This man was willing to go to jail for his brother. >> The other one I was like I mean, yeah, it looks like him. It looks like an older picture of him. Has he lost some weight? I was just nervous. Bro, that ain't him. >> It looked like me. Good. Oh my gosh. You're still going to go to jail cuz you gave us a fake name. I have no warrants. No, you didn't have any warrants. Sir, listen, please. >> No, I ain't No, dude, you wasted our time. >> Sir, listen, I thought cuz I had a murder charge. I just got out for murder charge. I've been gone 2 years. And you just got out? >> Yes, sir. Well, then why would you have warrants if you just got out? That's not how it works. I'm nervous about me having my charge and y'all arresting me, sir. We're not harassing anybody. Can I call my mom? You can call her once we get there. What's he charged with? Uh fake name. Fake name. Oh, thanks. >> That's it. This man gave a name of somebody that had warrants. I was man, that's smart. We were and it was out of Oconee County and we were about to leave to go meet Oconee County. He was like, "Hey, man, that ain't that ain't my real name." The genius that tried to use his brother's identity was booked for giving false name and date of birth. The woman was booked for her probation warrants. She failed to report to her probation officer twice and failed to pay for her probation fees of $45 and failed to pay for restitution of $32.50. The suspect found living in the car was booked for his probation warrants.
