I was trying to go there. >> Okay. >> Who all lives in there? Y'all live there? >> I live there. I live there. >> What's your name? >> What's your name? >> Josh. >> Josh? What? I'll just hang out here for a second. >> Then you come in. All right. >> You're not going to press that door on my foot. >> Move your foot off. >> Look, we got about we got a call by a domestic. We're here to make sure everybody say she's fine. >> I ain't call >> a concerned neighbor. >> Who else is in the apartment? >> No, man. Look, go get the paperwork so you can find that. >> What's the matter, >> man? Go back in. She lives here so I can talk to her. Don't press the door on me again. >> Then move your feet. >> No, not until I talk. >> You're trespassing right now. >> No, I'm here investigating. >> Ma'am, you come out here and talk to me right quick. >> Calls you. >> Ma'am, would you like to come out and talk to her? >> I don't have to. >> I'm not. I'm talking to her. >> I'm talking to you, though. >> You can step out here. >> No, bro. >> Okay. So, what's the problem? Why am I here? Why are you a problem? >> Can we talk to you? >> You walk out and talk to Quick. >> What? >> Come out and talk to us. >> Be comfortable leaving. Can you come talk to me? >> Tell them back. >> Just come out here. >> Just like that. >> This is simple. We're right now investigating a domestic violence circumstance about what's going on. >> Okay. What's the exact address we got? >> Harie, you got the wrong back. >> Well, right now you're obstructing us from talking to her. >> I'm in my >> You're not even letting us talk to her. You're telling us >> and he's trespassing on private property. >> Am I? >> I got the right away. So, like I said, bye. See, >> we're okay for now. I got a signal 35 guy at six. >> Indeed. >> What is that? >> Indeed. >> Everything is okay. >> Nothing. >> Well, we can't determine that until everybody's separated. So, you mind come out and just talk to us real quick? >> No, we were just >> Me and my woman know how to talk. We know how to handle our business. We need you to get out of it, though. >> Talking up. >> Well, if we knew how to talk, we would >> I'm fine. >> I can see there's bruises and marks all over your arm, it looks like. >> Yeah, that's from being in a car accident a couple days ago. >> Okay. >> These are scars. What's your What's your name? >> I'm sorry. What's your name? >> Talking to them. >> You don't even need to talk to them. >> I don't do nothing wrong. >> Did you call them? >> No, baby. I call them. >> Okay then. >> I don't want to get >> Man, who going? >> You are making this far more difficult than it needs to be. >> No, you are. You move. >> I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to place of residence. My home. Yeah, >> you're violating and you know he is and you're allowing him problem. >> We're here to investigate domestic is what this is. >> It's not a domestic. >> Well, we're getting a phone call where to leave >> again. She's a woman. She can tell. >> I'm fine. >> Tell him to leave. >> Tell him move his get back. >> We were just fussing. >> Everything fine over here. Everything's okay. So why can't you be like an argument and then we can figure that out and we can go. Hey >> talk to them. >> So they obviously super animated. >> Is it ever physical or anything between them? >> I be here a lot like but a lot so I don't >> today though obviously y'all got it got bad enough y'all decided to walk out. Did y'all hear or see anything? >> They were just arguing. >> Just arguing. So nothing ever >> but I don't know cuz either I don't know they everybody outside >> what's his name? Uh, >> Edison. >> Eric. >> Erikson. What? >> I don't know. >> It's Ericson. >> Okay. You got any history of the black male? Unknown name of Ericson. But y'all didn't see any physical violence today. She's got bruises and stuff from her arm. It looked looked very fresh. She said she got into a car wreck recently. >> Well, she has. Yeah, she has. >> Okay. So, she was involved in a car accident. Okay. >> All right. But today today it just got loud. That's all it is. >> The the police are here. They there's the apartment for your mom and >> Okay. >> We literally just walked out cuz I didn't hear him. >> Do y'all have shared rooms there or? >> No. No. I have my own room. >> You got your own room? >> Okay. What's her name? >> Um Jody. >> Jody. What? >> What's your little last name? >> N you good. You straight. Stay stay at the hospital. >> Also check for a white female, Jodie. So, what's going on right now is obviously when we get calls like this, we have to investigate to ensure everything's going on. He's not even letting us speak to her except for like one or two word answers. >> Has it ever been physical or anything between them? >> Uh, they they really never hit like that when we really >> Go ahead. >> All right. Number >> no, it ain't nothing to talk about unless you got paperwork. So now when you get paperwork, >> please come back. >> I'll be the same. Open the door. >> Really? >> Okay. >> He's still really signal 35 and won't let us get hurt at all. So whoever's closed, go ahead and get here. What's up? >> Here you go, babe. The officer here. >> Hey, this is Officer Manning Clark County Police. >> Hey, could you just tell me what's going on? >> We don't know. So your mama, I believe, work or lives. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So she's here with a black guy covered in tattoos. I think it's Erikson is his name is all we've got right now. We got a call about a heated domestic over here. Maybe physical or at least very loud. And he won't give us information. He won't let us talk to her at all except for one or two word answers. And I can see she's got bruises all over her. Have they had any issues in the past? >> Oh, very much so. Yes. >> You said very much so. >> Yes. >> Is it normally physical between them? >> Yes. >> Okay. What is And what's his name? >> Eric. >> Okay. One more time. >> Eric confirmed by the daughter via phone. What is your name, ma'am? >> So, here's what's going. Obviously, he did domestic. He squared up in a doorway. Barely lets us get a word in with her. >> He's just shoving the door. >> All right. Well, >> all right. Put your hand behind your back back. You're under arrest. >> Oh my god. >> Hey, put your hand behind your back. >> Don't do this. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. DON'T [screaming] DO THIS. >> [ __ ] [ __ ] HE'S BARRICADED IN THE BACK. Two and three. >> I told y'all it wasn't outside. Step outside. Step outside. Step out. Step out. Step out. Step out. Step out. Step out. >> Somebody bring a shield up here. >> Y I'M I'M CALLING. YOU know what? You are not allowed to enter my house. >> Back out. >> You are not allowed to enter my house without a warrant. >> Can y'all stop? We know. Wait, >> you are under arrest. >> Why? >> What is going on? >> What happened? >> Look, man. Just come out with your hands up. You're under arrest at this point for obstruction. >> Get out of that house today. >> That's it. We got into it. >> Had had we turned the door and we talked, we wouldn't be here, right? You know how you >> need to be barricaded in the back bedroom knowing what he's got at this time. He won't open the door. >> Sound like he's barricading the door, >> right? We go about it the way we go about it, right? But what is going on today that he is doing this >> central? He's got any gang or weapon history in the past. Another prohibited part about >> Is he in a is he right now? >> No. Is he on anything? >> No. Is he injured? >> No. No. He literally just got >> You need to come out of the back bedroom with your hands up. We are not going to be leaving. You're under arrest. I'm saying it wasn't that serious. >> Okay, but he created it this serious. >> I know, but you still >> We've already told you we're here to investigate domestic violence circumstance. >> Constructed our investigation. >> You're under arrest. >> Is he even supposed to be here? >> Yeah. >> Does he have bond conditions against >> gang weapon history? Anything related to violence? >> Sheriff is PO. >> I mean, he's allowed to be. He's not It's not against me. It's against um >> somebody not out here. Please review this uh bond or whatever the condition is. with somebody else. >> Okay. So, does his bond condition say he can't be here? >> No, he's allowed here. He It's not my house that he's not allowed at. >> Is he allowed to be around you? >> Yes. I bailed him out. I signed his paperwork. There's nothing >> people that can't be around somebody have been bailed out as well. >> Well, he's allowed. You can check it out. >> Anything happened with her at all today? They're saying that the talk the daughter on the phone, her daughter on the phone said it's been physical in the past between both of them. So, 68, whatever your name, what your number is, pull her away. Y'all go talk to her. See if we got anything else. >> I don't want you to go to my house. >> You go with him. >> I don't want you in my house. Please don't my house unless you have a warrant. >> Listen, let's go down here and talk. >> No, I don't want to talk. >> Look, man. Nobody wants to hurt you. >> I don't want him to go. No. Damn. Y'all don't listen. >> Domestic violence call we've got here. >> Ain't nost on me. My head up. >> Okay, that's fine. We'll talk. So, what what's going on with y'all? >> Nothing. We were literally fussing because he didn't want me to go with him and I wanted the ride. That's it. >> I'm going just tell you, you know, somebody called us, you know, heard our Listen, listen, listen. I'm not saying I'm not saying, you know, you know, you wrong or anything. >> Think he's an [ __ ] I know that, but you know, it's not that. >> It's not like he barricaded the door once we were out here to sharpen us today. He was putting stuff in front of it. >> Okay. Well, again, his whole demeanor has been argumented the whole time. >> No, absolutely. >> Kept trying to close the door. >> He ended up taking his Go ahead. >> First thing I want to ask you, are there any guns in the car? Anything? Okay. Just want to ask. >> I just want to ask you just fing. He had my phone and I asked him to give me my phone back. That was it. I was yelling because I wanted my phone cuz I thought he was going to walk off without it. >> Okay. So, why would he have your phone? because we were listening to music in the car and when we got out he grabbed it. >> Why would he? So what happened in the car to make him grab your phone? >> He wanted me to get out and we had nothing. He had my phone. He has my phone all the time. We were listening to music off of it. >> It was laying on his lap and I went to grab it and he jumped out the car and I said, "Can I have my phone?" He said, "No, just, you know," and that was it. I was mad because I wanted my phone. >> So, how did you know with your phone? >> I grabbed it and took it. >> Where's your car at now? >> Right there. >> Right there. Okay. So, have anything been physical in the past between y'all two? No, >> something happened. I'm going be honest with you. You got bruising on your arm. You got scratches right here. You got bruising on your other arm. >> Something. >> It's something. >> My concern was it went through waistband or something. But >> yeah, we're here. We're not leaving. You're under arrest. Look, man. Just come out with your hands up and empty and we can talk about this. That's all it is. >> Nothing is going on. >> Something So what? What? What happens in the past when y'all usually argue? How does that usually go? >> He leaves. He'll leave walking. >> So, what's different about this time? Why Why you don't want to leave? >> This got way out of proportion for no reason. >> He was going to leave. He's about to leave. And he told me to stop yelling and getting so outraged, but it get mad. That's all I was mad. And all I have is my voice. >> I understand that. So, how did you get the the bruises on your arm and stuff in the past? was in an accident. >> When When was that? >> About I don't know about a week ago. >> In that car? >> No, not that car. I was with one of my friends. >> Guess ashes on the ground, but I don't see anything specifically broken and dry. Nothing looks tossed in here, but I don't know what their room looks like. >> Coming out. You said >> come out with your hands up and empty. >> Please. Why are they doing that? >> Listen. >> Hey, one of y'all come down here. >> Hey, stay right here. Stay right here. Sexy, stay right here. Can you let him alone? Please. Y'all don't have a first name. >> Hey, what's his name? >> I'm not. >> Well, that's it. >> He thinks it's Ericson, but >> I know, bae. Right. I just got the out of you. >> Look, Erikson, you need to come out with your hands up. All right. Hands up and empty. >> Do you all have a warrant? Do you have a warrant? >> I'm asking politely. Do y'all have a warrant? >> When he's under arrest, I don't need a warrant. You still been in my house and tased him while you were in my house. >> Nobody tased him. >> You did taser. >> Where's our shield up? >> We have no idea what he's got. >> Yeah. >> Hey, whoever's coming up here next. Go ahead and get on the back of this apartment building. I believe there's a back window for this unit. Clear. He's putting more stuff in front of the door. Where was y the other night when the was out here [ __ ] ready to shoot the neighbors because they ran into each other playing ball pulling guns and nobody bothered to call the cops then either one of y'all got a cigarette. I'll give you all one bad >> Ericson need to come out with your hands up and empty. We're not going to go away. You're under arrest. >> For what? >> What's he under arrest for? For y'all coming in my house without a warrant? >> 22. Where you at? I'll fill you in. >> He's right here. >> Oh, okay. Just hold this. So, you've been hearing him holler today. All right. That's what the other officer was given by you. >> Okay. I don't want your name at this point. I'm not even trying to get you as a witness, but you obviously live next door. So, did you hear anything today that happened? Thank you for the assistance then. So, we get here went ahead like gasoline all over. >> That's what Harney was just saying, too. I guess computer or something. Obviously, I've not been I don't know that history there. >> I can't really see the door open. I don't know if you put much stuff on there. >> It'll it'll swing >> and he is barricaded firmly in the back. >> Just hold that for right now. >> Let me go talk to her. I'm coming to talk to you, man. Look, I know. I think me and you've talked a long time in the past. All right. So, look, I'm Blake. All right, just hear me out. Hear me out. I want to give you the whole rundown. We got called about a physical domestic or at least a heated very heated domestic. Okay. Your two roommates decide to walk out. Obviously, it sounds like they walked out because it was getting so bad, whether it was physical or at least just being verbal. Okay, >> we were laying on the bed. That's what we were doing when y'all know we were laying on the bed. >> It was bad enough. It was bad enough that a neighbor called about this issue down here, okay? And you know how it is. If a neighbor's calling about something down here, it's generally pretty bad when we come to these kind of calls when it's domestic violence. >> I told y'all there was nothing going on. He didn't even put his hands on me. >> Look, we couldn't even talk to you barely because Yeah, because he continued yelling over and over and over. Right. You're kidding. >> When I can't discuss something with you, I can't validate if you're injured or not. >> I told you I was fine. >> But still, we have to conduct our investigation. >> Just to be clear, if he comes out right now, you have to be hands. >> I got you. >> I don't know if you're saying that because he's off in your face and he's so animated and agitated. I can see you've got physical injuries all over your left arm from what you're saying is a car accident. But same rate, if you're telling me that, I can't break away and go, "Hey, look, she was involved in an accident a couple days ago. This makes sense." >> I can't tell you the amount. Yeah. Go there. I can't tell you the amount of times we've been to calls where where somebody where somebody has physical injuries and the suspect's telling them, "Leave them alone. It's okay. The injuries are from something." >> None of my injuries are from him. >> But look, and now I can conduct my investigation, right? >> Clark County PD. >> Have we got any charges? >> I mean, a minimum >> obstruction is >> He wasn't He was in here the entire time. >> Let's walk down here and talk. >> No, I don't want to go down there. My leg, my a guy had no right to come in. He will obstruct our investigation. He's under arrest at that time. So, he's under arrest right now for misdemeanor obstruction. Okay? >> He wouldn't let us conduct anything with you. He wouldn't let us talk to you. He wouldn't talk to us except for get out of here. You can't be here. So, as soon as we walk up to a domestic violence circumstance and he tries to slam the door on officers, we have no idea what's going on with anybody inside. >> Violence. We were just talking [ __ ] to each other >> and you're saying they're talking that's fine. I can notate that on report all day long. But we can't determine that until we can separate parties and talk to each other. Right. And it sounds like talking to your daughter on the phone. Y'all have had physical domestics in the past or at least had domestics in the past. Is that correct? >> No. >> No. Okay. So, you're saying you haven't, but your daughter's saying you have and our dispatch is >> not. >> Okay. And our our dispatch is stating that we have had prior history up here. So, we have all these factors going in. We have to ensure the safety of everybody on scene with family violence. >> I'm fine. >> So, can you give me a rundown of what happened today? What what led up to y'all laying in bed and talking? >> We we went to the store. Okay. >> We got went and got gas. I had to go get cigarettes and stuff yet. He said he was going to take his friend off the road. He pulled in here and he said, "Babe, go ahead and go in the house." And I said, "I don't want to go in the house. I want to ride with you." >> Ride with your hands up. >> And then it started he he was like, "I got to go handle something. Just go in the house. You never listen to me." Okay. >> And I then he got out the car and he had my phone and and I was asking you to give me my damn phone. And I got my phone and I went in the house. >> So he had your phone because he wouldn't give it to you or >> No, he had my phone because we were listening to music. >> Listen man, don't make the situation worse. We We know you IN HERE. JUST COME OUT. >> SO, you're saying everything today between y'all, y'all just got into a little argument in the bed. >> That's it. >> What was the argument about, though? >> Because I wanted to go with him. >> That was it. >> Okay. So, y'all about going to the store and the phone? That's pretty much it. >> That's it. >> So, why was it so loud that a neighbor was concerned? >> Because all I have is my voice and I'm loud. My I'm my country. So, you're just being loud. >> I'm loud. >> I'm sorry that I'm loud. >> Ain't nobody's saying you can't be loud. You're telling me you had an accident a couple days ago. Was that here in county? >> No, it was in South Carolina. South Carolina. Okay, >> you just come out with your hands up. All right, just talk to us. >> But y'all are being extra, though. It's so >> extra, man. Look at how Look at how he's acting towards us. >> All we have is hostility between him and >> how y'all was acting towards him. He just asked y'all to leave with you. Didn't have no warrant to go in there. >> Hey, right now, man, you just LOOK AT THAT OBSTRUCTION, BRO. Come on. >> What's your birthday? >> 74. >> Have y'all had issues in the past between domestic violence with y'all arguing or being physical? >> No. >> Well, I think it has been. I know somebody else was telling me I guess something about like some gas getting poured or whatnot. >> That was a whole misunderstanding. He was putting his gas in the motorcycle and they thought he was pouring it on my door. Can you come and investigate make sure there was nothing smelling on the floor on the door? They said it was fines. >> Okay. >> It sounds like we've got other calls besides that. >> Make sure he doesn't hit the bike. >> What other times have we come out here in reference to y'all having arguments? It just been verbal every time. Has it ever been physical? You ever hit him? >> No. >> Okay. He ever hit you? >> No. So, you're saying everything I've ever encountered has always been a verbal circumstance. >> Okay. Now, I heard you said something about bailing him out. What did you bail him out for? >> He had a misdemeanor charge of it was um battery with violence. >> Was it against you? >> No. >> Who? Somebody else. Okay. When that happened >> ago. And who was that against? Do you know? >> No. >> Y'all been pretty steady the past 10 months. Is that something? Yeah. >> Okay. >> So, the whole thing with Brandy, it's just a old kind of unknown circumstance. It's not old. It just was a thing of >> trying to do your hands up for me. >> So, y'all share the same bedroom? >> Yes. >> Okay. And these two gentlemen down here, y'all's roommates. >> No, he that's the one on the phone is my daughter's boyfriend and his friend. My daughter's at the hospital with her son. >> Okay. Just had a baby. >> Well, unfortunately didn't like what we're having. So, you know, congratulations on that. >> It was due today. Okay. >> Well, yesterday, but she had him back in June. >> Okay. Nikku baby then. My son also was a niku baby. I know it makes even more stress. Did you talk to >> 10? Yes, ma'am. So, don't hold anything against her. You got to understand, we've been to these calls before WHEN >> we don't have anybody in the back. >> We don't have anybody in the back. I asked for that. Nobody's in the back. Ma'am, stay up here for me. I'm coming back to you now. >> I think he jumped out the back. >> They say he ain't jumped out yet. >> Oh, there you go. Which one is >> wide open on the right hand side? >> No, he's inside. They got two windows open right now. >> Officers decided to step in and talk to the man. What the man demanded was to square up and fight the first officer that was holding the door open with his foot. >> Look, all we want you to do is come out and talk to us. >> I know you're scared, man. Look, I'm not gonna let anybody hurt you, man. I'm on scene. I'm the sergeant, okay? >> I'm the sergeant on the scene. No one's going to hurt you. >> Control them out. They're back here. They're not doing anything. They're going to stand right here. They ain't going to do nothing. We need to talk to you and find out what's going on. At least come out, man. No one's going to hurt you. I promise you that cuz I'm here right now and I'm talking to you. Do what now? >> Okay. So, the officer was here earlier. You don't want him out here, right? >> No, he wants to >> Oh, he wants to Well, I can't let you fight my officer. Well, well, I understand that, but I can't let you fight him. >> But would you come out? Would you come out to me? >> Okay. Well, my captain's not working today. I'm I'm the supervisor on duty right now. >> Come here. >> I've already talked to my deputy chief. >> I'm sorry, but that is true. >> I love you. >> Okay. Well, I I need I need to >> But you understand? We're trying to We're trying to investigate a domestic disturbance. Not a disturbance. >> Ma'am, >> it's not I never say that, ma'am. >> Hey, listen. You got to be quiet. >> Hey, pay attention right there. >> Still enter my house without warrant. Period. >> All right. I'm right here, man. Come on out. We can talk. >> Okay. >> You don't want to do that. >> All right. Come right back up. >> All right. Well, we're going to leave. We're going to walk outside now that you're threatening our lives. Of course, he has to escalate for that. >> Here we got locked up on his last battery, he just got arrested on the 24th of the so when he had me with him. >> Okay. >> Well, >> well, he just told us he got an automatic assault rifle in there. So, that's why we backed out. So, >> since we only have a misdemeanor right now, obstruction, and we don't have the battery. We're going to back out right now. Okay. >> So, go ahead and close that door. Back out. >> Close the front door. >> Close that door. >> And just hold back out. Let me get my children. I got keys. >> Hey, let's Yeah, go ahead and clear out these next these neighboring apartments. >> As they were clearing out, the building, officers in the back noticed that he was hanging out the back window looking to make a run for it. This is when the whole neighborhood grew tired of him and started yelling at the mother. >> Captain out here, bro. >> Listen, there's a sergeant out here. >> You only facing obstruction, bro. I'll come Stop me facing. >> Okay. But look, YOU MAKING IT WORSE. LISTEN, I'll come >> out of here, bro. I'm not going. >> So, you're not going to let me talk to you? >> You're not listening. >> I'm trying, but you got to talk to me, too, though. >> See, >> come on, bro. She going to b your ass out anyway, bro. >> Bro, I'll come and put the arrest. >> Listen. Hold on. >> I never listen. I will mind your business. Go back. Listen. >> I'll put the handcuffs on you. No issue. >> Bro, come on. Don't do that. >> That's not going to happen. >> My home. >> But listen, my home, >> listen. Let me stay right there. He's not going to hurt me. He's not the I'm not the one. >> I told them there's nothing. I know. I know. I know. I know. I know. Can you just come over here? >> No, there's no nothing. >> Listen, man. Shut up and go sit in the corner. What I'm trying to tell you is, bro, >> the car. >> We can >> I want to talk to your >> My sergeant is on scene, but he not going to talk to YOU UNLESS YOU COME OUT. >> What the coming up? They trying to shoot the [ __ ] out. >> If you come out with your hands up, I'll come up there. Listen. >> Okay. Well, >> baby. >> Hey, there go sergeant right there. >> Sir, my rights are being violated. >> He's hanging out the window now. We're on standby. >> Go round back. I about to keep come talking to me hanging out the window. >> We're holding the front 40's coming around back. >> The man came and violated my home. I don't want nobody in my house but you. I don't got no guns, no weapons, no nothing. My room is not barricaded or none of that. >> Hey, there's a spare west side unit. Come over here so we can keep it kind of the victim. She's roaming around. >> Bro, get out the window. Jump out the window. Come on, man. Squeeze. Squeeze. >> Come on, man. What are you doing, man? You a sellout just like a rest. You a goddamn >> tried to help you, man. >> I see your help. >> YOU AIN'T GETTING OUT OF THIS THAT WAY. >> Put the tires up, >> bro. What are you talking about? >> Stop talking to me to death, man.
