Island when their vehicle was pulled over by the cops allegedly for speeding after pulling over the vehicle the cops asked for ID from both the driver and the passenger the driver showed his ID assault however these charges were taken to trial and it concluded that Miss stancz was not guilty of this charge both Miss stancz and her partner suffered from physical injuries after this encounter due to the excessive force used by the law enforcement during the arrest on September 16th 2019 the Denver city council offered a $500,000 settlement for the case if you think this was the only cop lady named a silly logger Veil Miss logger Veil drove the entire entire night to arrive back at Castro Valley so that her daughters could attend their classes as they were parked they intended to get some coffee from Starbucks and were preparing to leave the car to go inside the outlet watch what happens when the cop approaches them as they are resting for a while in their vehicle hi Hi how are you hi what are you guys doing here uh waiting to go to Starbucks in a second why are we have is there a problem we can sit here well actually let me tell you why I'm here okay I've been having Auto break-ins in this parking lot every morning around this time thank you very much so I've been so I've been driving around here okay and I noticed that you guys aren't doing nothing but hanging out yeah I just got here for this okay well that morning I've been driving all night okay takes eight hours to get here well relax that's my reason why I'm talking to you here so I'm this is a rent a car don't demand what we do no I'm not demanding anything the officers handcuffed Miss logger Vil and her daughters and put them in the cop Cruiser they state that they are not being arrested but detained the officers then search the vehicle and their personal belongings without possessing a warrant watch how the the encounter ends I'm asking you you're not following our instruction I'm asking you a question why am I being arrested right now you're being arrested because you're not what did I do to be arrested why led up to this can you answer that honestly you cannot you won't let me you won't going admin while talk to my partners figure out what is going on officer Holland mutes his microphone while he discusses the situation with other fellow cops on the scene Miss logger and her daughters were released from detention after about an hour a few days later miss logger and her daughters filed a lawsuit against the officers involved and the Sheriff's Office the court offered a settlement of $8,500 th000 if if you think this was the last cop who tried to ruin his career in seconds then you probably aren't aware of this next case favor turn around both of you face that officers from the Aurora Police Department on February 19th 2016 a resident named Daron Kelly was standing outside near the sidewalks when he was approached by several officers from the Aurora Police Department he was present outside an apartment complex having a conversation with his cousins watch what the officers do to him sir a white shirt sit down please sit down sit down I also cannot see unaware of the suspect and they consequently approached Mr Kelly you don't have a weapon do not double tase him put your hands on your head interlace your fingers are we being DET now yes you're being forced him onto the ground subsequently he was handcuffed arrested and charged with disorderly conduct he was taken to jail immediately after the incident he remained there for 3 days before he could get bailed out Mr Kelly later filed a lawsuit against the officers involved he received a $110,000 settlement for this arrest
