entitled cops accustomed to bending the rules but what happens when they encounter someone they can't intimidate here are four times when entitled cops got humbled by special agents since you got the no this is Officer Torres from the Carson City sheriff's office on April 22nd 2022 officer Torres spotted a vehicle with red and blue lights and a slightly damaged license plate officer Torres suspected the vehicle might be impersonating a police officer and decided to pull it over what officer Torres is about to discover is unbelievable for him how you doing sir good all right what's turn with the Sheriff's Office reason I'm stopping you is your your Plate's obstructed whatever that thing's got you got to take it off okay okay cuz it got to be visible within a certain distance now when you went to driving school and a car pulls you over what they tell you oh you pull over want it's shap to D uh you pull over immediately okay let me tell you this and now you pull over immediately sure um because I don't know what you're doing inside this car sure hiding guns you know what I mean obos safety is number one so pull over immediately if for whatever reason I find it not safe yeah yeah I'll get on the PA say hey turn over at whatever stop you know what I mean but when you keep roll in it it it makes it go to from like just a routine deal to like I just didn't want to stop right subject and conducting an incidental search of his person because the vehicle's red blue lights were not displaying officer Torres retrieved an FBI special agent badge from the driver's front pocket the driver was identified as Anton yunov this discovery led to a complete search of the driver's vehicle without first obtaining a warrant or the consent of the subject constituting a Fourth Amendment violation for those who don't know the fourth amendment protects citizens from unreasonable searches and seizures by law enforcement watch how the encounter unfolds you ever work for so you go out other officers on the scene retrieved a jacket a badge and many other belongings that testified to the subject's involvement with the FBI as a special agent however despite this the FBI agent Mr yunov was arrested without being given any reason he was asked to sit in the cop Cruiser while in handcuffs unfortunately very little is known about the proceedings of this case if you think these were the agent James Burke visited a resident of an individual in Columbus Ohio to retrieve a firearm from them because they were not permitted to carry that weapon according to the law the individual refused to comply by not answering the door and called the cops on Mr Burke and accused him allegedly of breaking into the house watch how the cops respond to the [Music] situation hey turn around let me see your hands turn around let me see your hands okay let me see your hands I need to see some ID get on the ground get on the ground now get on the ground is your deal get on the ground now I'm a federal was a special agent officer Joseph orders him to get on the ground regardless officer Winchell arrives on the scene as backup and Mr Burke eventually gets on the ground however officer Joseph still deploys his taser on Mr Burke and gets him in handcuffs the officers forcefully put Mr Burke inside the cop Cruiser while he verbally and physically resisted watch how the interaction ends hey guys please just talk to me for one second please get in the car we'll talk later sir wait wait you had your chance no I was trying to give you my crud you didn't let me show them to you once tried I did on December 4th 2020 Mr Burke filed a lawsuit against the city of Columbus and the officers involved after this incident agent Burke was tasked with an administrative support role within the ATF Department due to the injuries he suffered during this incident the proceedings of the lawsuit are unknown if you think this was the maximum entitled cops can get humbled by special agents then you Carolina State transport police on May 25th 2024 officer Mark Ronald baru was pulled over by Officer Brock allegedly for speeding while he was driving a state-owned vehicle watch what officer Brock is about to find out in what state officer baru was in hey how you doing hey what's up buddy hey I'm Lance scoper Brock with State transport the reason I'm stopping you is your speed guys I'm sorry got your driver's license on you I did how much you had to drink uh cou days get your registration in your insurance card this your government car yeah okay where you coming from um I was hanging some sobriety tests officer baru was promptly arrested after he showed clear signs of intoxication he was subsequently charged with driving Under the Influence DUI and transported to the Lexington County Detention Center the proceedings of this case are uncertain if you think this was the last cop who got humbled by special agents then you probably haven't heard of this next case I go to P up my pants up I'm good to go okay this is an officer from the Steamboat Springs Police Department on June 15th 2018 a police officer Markham King from the Cheyenne Police Department was outside of a baseball field in Steamboat Springs where a youth baseball game was taking place during the game gunshots were heard outside of the ground and the cops were dispatched to the location to investigate the situation upon the arrival of cops they approached officer Markham King outside the field watch how the interaction follows hey what's happening I'm Brent yeah what's going on you heard of a technic everybody Fe especially with social media and everything that's going down with absolutely the FBI I didn't know what happened I thought it was a car cuz I was talking over here and I I always checked to him cuz he's always got everything under control every time we're around you know and I was like I he was Stand Out sit down look down it was it it was so surreal to me so I I do it and I'm like I hear it I'm like I know what it is I'm like no yeah holding my pants shoot so all right That's it man I'm putting her away and you're not injured at the point you need to go to the hospital or four or five sips of a ginger ale mixed with with the with the wish okay and when was that it was it was about about a half an hour hour 45 minutes ago um probably about I guess the shot went about 20 minutes 30 minutes after that you can't give me an exact time so tell me what was running through your head when you when you thought about putting that the gun away so it's like I told you it's like so you you always wear your options like am I prepared to handle like and we always think about this in our job am I hand prepared to handle or protect lives in a use of force situation or or active shooter situation um and that that risk in that that thought process is what what I'm always thinking about know let me uh let me get you a sign both of these guys here just right here in the box so small semi-automatic handgun into the dirt beneath the bleachers the bullet grazed his buttock and Drew some blood but he was otherwise uninjured officer King complied with requests to leave the area of the baseball game which was part of a Triple Crown Youth Tournament the game continued after the incident officer King had come to support one of the baseball teams he he has been charged with
