on July 25th 2023 deputies from the McKenry County Sheriff's Office noticed a vehicle that had broken down on the side of the road behind the wheel was 41-year-old William E Gilbert who had been traveling from wage to McKenry one of the deputies who was assisting William was a K9 unit and soon realized that the suspect might be hiding illegal substances here you go William thank you very much of methamphetamin possession of methamphetamine manufacturing or delivery of heroin possession of heroin manufacturing or delivery of cocaine manufacturing or delivery of fenel two counts of possession of a controlled substance resisting a peace officer causing injury and obstructing a peace officer after his initial court hearing in McKenry County William was held on a $250,000 Bond
