on September 27th 2023 officers observed an intoxicated woman speed and crash into another vehicle then she immediately fled the scene the woman parked her car at a random apartment complex and then started walking away pretending like she just wasn't involved in a hit and run man come here what you need dire for I know I think need are you all right yes yes sir where you coming from oh I'm just going from the part store from a Part Store okay where's your car at my car is at home at home where's home uh in person right there do you have any ID on you no I don't no no um I might have a Ford Explorer and a white Ford Ranger okay and I I completely own and take responsibility I let other people drive my vehicles and all the time like I said there's no how we told you there's no need going on did you see her in the car I didn't see her in the car you could identify her as being in the car yeah and okay like I recognized her cuz like she had the window down when she want P so yeah okay any injury or any pain or anything at all from the crash at all nothing no bag no neck no nothing okay did did we get the actual W actually happen at uh epti and solo epti and S was fing he was on epti he was on solo trying to turn onto epti to go home okay was he fing east or west west cuz yeah and then um she came up behind him rear ended him and she continued all right ma'am listen um it just just because you are sitting in the back of this car I'm going to let you know did you did you do this or no okay you do have the right to you do have the right to women silence anything you say not going to try to catch you in a lie but this is what I know all right that blue Fort that sparkle over there was involved in an accident versus that car have you SE have you seen it yet no I okay left and turn and got re handed by that blue vehicle the blue vehicle the blue vehicle then left the scene he followed search vehicle got picture of the tag that's how we know that's how we know it was that vehicle that was involved in that okay in the I understand I believe you I mean now the next thing is Sergeant Billy Jake he's a deputy with the mar County sh office he witnessed the entire thing happening he also followed to look for that blue Ford and he and he positively identify you as the driver of SE V of SE vehicle um is there anything you can say about that I I don't understand you w driving you you don't remember I was not driving okay all right so I don't need any statement for from you to confirm to confirm you are driving I have I have the statement of the surgeon I understand which is good good enough we going to do we're going to do the crash report and you'll be listed as the driver of the vehicle all right you are not free to leave because I'm I'm still doing the crash investigation and obviously also I'm not going to lie to you or sugarco it leaving the sin of an accident is an actual crime okay I understand that I would never I would never leave or do anything if if if I do something get back you can get back sitting I'm going to do my crash report I just wanted to advise you be be be before I do anything else we want to know what's going to happen since it was a hit and run and she going she she's going she's going to go to jail okay but again even though she's going to jail if she does not have her insurance your insurance going to have to take care of the damages no no matter what unless you have uninsured motorist in which case I mean you still cover it but it would be less it would be less you can go after her civil at that point we cuz a friend of ours also got a crash and they said no no no initially no and then once the adrenaline once the adrenaline goes down and everything you'll start to feel start dizzy and everything but give them my insurance information and then that that will go to you yes got right now my crash investigation is o over and like I told you before in the living the SC of the accident is a criminal
