welfare checks by police officers can be important when it comes to saving lives but what happens when the cops show up at the wrong place here are four different cases when idiot cops showed up at the wrong house say somebody take my glasses off my face I got you you need some man I mean I got to be honest with you man I just I just can't believe this man is that is that my is that my my family baby nurses y you have at the T right now yes this is Ryan cougler the director of Marvel's Black Panther on January 7th 2022 around 11:00 in the morning Atlanta Police Department deputies responded to a reported bank robbery at Bank of America on West Paces Ferry Road upon arrival they discovered a black Lexus SUV parked outside the Bank inside the vehicle were a man and a woman patiently waiting for cougler to complete his transaction inside the bank subsequently the police identified cougler as the individual mentioned in the call and apprehended both car occupants upon entering the bank law enforcement arrested Ryan cougler while he was at the teller window cougler intended to withdraw $112,000 choosing to convey this quietly by writing a note to the cashier instead of verbalizing it to avoid drawing attention unfortunately the cashier misinterpreted the note as an attempted bank robbery leading to the police intervention watch the subsequent events where Ryan her the whole time bro you know mean if she was scared she got to admit that you know what I mean like know that's and that's fine bro cougler argued that he wanted to withdraw such an amount to pay his medical assistant who preferred to be paid in cash during the entire incident cougler kept calm and dealt with the situation maturely according to the report officers clarified that Bank of America had made an error and Ryan cougler had not engaged in any wrongdoing consequently the police freed both the man and the woman from their patrol cars and removed the handcuffs from cougler authorities then addressed the misunderstanding with all three individuals offering apologies for the confusion cougler later went back inside to complete the transaction for which he had come the Bank of America also issued an apology to cougler and the officers worked well within their rights while this next case doesn't result in a brutal fatality it shows another situation where citizens feel the need to be protected from law enforcement on March 12th 2023 the Erie Police Department SWAT team officers Pennsylvania police fugitive task force and US Marshals arrived in front of Lance Thornton's house 52-year-old Mr Thornton who suffered from early onset dementia was rightly puzzled by the situ barring that for a man who woke up to find so many Law Enforcement Officers outside his house banging down his door this was undoubtedly a scary situation the doorbell camera was recording up until the officers ripped it out and threw it in the snow when Mr thoron didn't show up on time the officers began breaking down the door but fortunately he showed up before they broke it down completely after a while Mr Thornton pulled out his phone to record the whole incident not going to be request was denied and more unfortunately he suffered a stroke shortly after most likely an effect of the incident but if you think the abuse of authority here was intense wait until you hear just how Department received a call where the caller claimed to have heard a male and female arguing at a nearby house the call LED them to Christopher Finley's house the events before an officer put his foot in Finley's door are not publicly available but as soon as that happened Finley started streaming on Facebook live please remove your please sir I don't want to talk anymore sir I I'm I'm asking you again to please remove I am an unarmed citizen in my home sir in my home in my home I'm asking you sir to please remove your foot cuz that's to me that's threatening sir so again I'm not threatening said it came back to this address and it said uh they told us there was yelling or something in the background initially then they hung up and they haven't been able to get in touch with everyone
