confronted Mr Tyler Merkerson in some morning hours when he pulled over his vehicle at a gas station in Georgia Mr Merkerson has been allegedly found not using his seat belt while driving his truck near the gas station officer tiry decided to write him a citation following this violation however observe how the situation is about to escalate huh y'all got a rap on this Jer he man what's up you got a complaint form on you no I don't this is the the this keep pulling me over every time I come to this that that's fine if you would hop out and go have a seat on This Hood please you ain't going no weap nothing like that on you thank you just walk back there can I go on the store yet just hold on trying to f one two have a SE on his hood thank you get pocket Officer Terry is accompanied by Officer Radford Brooks for backup as they approach Mr Merkerson to detain him they inquire if he is carrying any any weapons despite having a knife Mr Merkerson denies possessing any weapons after being instructed to sit on the car bumper he later requested Officer Terry to remove the knife he was carrying upon standing up observe the reactions of both officers to this situation just have a five times sit on the car wouldn't listen uh I told him put his hand behind his back and fight was on make sure you tell um and he said he had a he said he had a pocket knife on him and he said that he wanted rad to get the pocket knife so he didn't shoot him which I never heard cuz I was working on a ticket but anyway he wouldn't listen to rad he kept obstructing rad so then I told him to put his hands behind his back fight was on took him down he got up rad grabbed him back had take him back down the ground I drove stun him cuz he wouldn't put his hands behind his back and my pant my knees skinned up and pants are ripped but let me let me explain to him here's Rad's side of it cuz like I was in the car hey I'm going to um I'm going to go and take you to the jail um and then they'll make a determination because since roadside and the Medics clear you for medical I had surgery on my knee brother listen I'm clear Mr Merkerson was arrested while he was thrown to the ground recklessly assaulted and tased by both officers Officer Brooks tells Mr Merkerson that he had violated georg's laws regarding obstruction twice likewise Mr Merkerson was charged with three charges that included not obeying the orders to sit on the hood of the car and resisting both the officers during arrest he was later transported to a nearby hospital facility to get his leg checked if you to the ground allegedly causing Mr Scurlock to lose Consciousness according to a bystander officer Kinsley allegedly threw Mr Scurlock to the ground causing his head to hit the curb observe the actions of the officers as they await medical assistance have a seene on the C what you're supposed to do have a seene on the curb hit she hit me I mean he hit me and I one I thought he saw [Applause] the right to remain silent you have a right to a lawyer you have the right to have a lawyer pres as any interview with the place your you have the right to terminate any interview at any time you he also reported to have difficulty in seeing things following the encounter instead of providing him with medical assistance Dickinson authorities chose to release him and transport him back home within 24 hours Scurlock was admitted to intensive care due to a brain bleed he remained there for the next 2 weeks and then spent the final nine months of his life in hospitals and nursing homes before passing away in December 2022 if you you think this cop reached the height of ignorance and thought he was above the law then wait until you watch this next case I didn't him be arrest me in 2020 officer Mahi approached a private property of a resident named Jacob Norris in Kalispel Montana to ask about the whereabouts of an individual named Eli T Eli T had been arrested long ago for charges of assaulting a minor and was kept in Flathead County Detention Center Mr Norris notices a cop outside his house and approaches him to ask why he was there [Music] hello how are you not too
