on January 27th 2023 officers were called to Sephora in regards to two females who were caught shoplifting over $11,000 in makeup products hi there what's going on so let me grab a price sub they so they selected each selected rot balls okay and they concealed in her bag majority of it and she took like probably 10 items and walked out with the Bas okay so let me grab so this is everything here they walk straight directly towards the roller balls they each select I saw them selecting multiple grabbing like three four at a time um I then radio into my supervisor and advis the situation they um the two girls loaded um well one there one of the girls I think with the brown not the one wearing black the one with the brown had a basket okay um and a and a purse mhm so they each select and they placed the items into the basket they walked towards fragrance they looked around at the testers then they walked towards the front door and in that little cubby hole they um they each they well the girl with the brown she selected the items the one with the shoulder hair yeah okay she selected items out of out of the the Sephora basket and placed them into her into her purse while the girl the subject in the black stood next to her kind of shielding okay um and um then she just I'm not sure why she just walked out with the basket but inside the basket there was like 10 roller balls when she walked out with it uh I then approached both of them outside one went left one went right my supervisor came out and I advised my supervisor to follow the one and the the last yeah black cuz I I followed the merchandise as as she's walking back the one that went right is the one in the brown um so I'm sorry when they okay sorry when they both walked out they both went left then when I approach the one in the Brown went she turned around went right and as she's passing the Sephora she drops the basket right in front of the door and she said she drops the basket in front she dropped she drops the basket in front of the door and says um oh oh I I I I left it it's there it's there you know whatever I'm like you still got to come back until you walked out the store with the merchandise and she kind of stood there for a second like gu deciding whether she should come back or not and then subsequently she she ended up they both came back to the office okay now at any point did you see what happened to the items that were in the basket carried by the one with the long blonde hair you said the other woman was taking items out of her out of her basket putting it into her bag correct did you ever seen any concealment on the behalf of the other person or she or she was only acting as the shield acting as a sh okay okay so so the items that she previously selected what happened to those items those items were I guess assuming they were in the basket okay yeah the the items that she selected got got concealed okay by the subject in the brown okay um Al I guess she put some in the in her in her purse and in the basket as well okay um but like I said they both act in concert I saw them both selecting they never left each other's side at the same time okay oh yeah okay so but just cuz I'm trying to figure in the video it appeared to me they each had a basket at one point in time um Mercedes did each of them have a basket I can't I can't remember I I I I'm
