from an off-duty officer in Albuquerque getting arrested for DWI after using every sort of excuse how much have you had to drink nothing at all okay well so when I flipped around to catch up to you you were going 80 M an hour that's why I turned around to a cop caught on CCTV stealing a phone and resisting arrest haven't you seen me like several times when I came in here before that ain't that ain't got nothing to do with it player okay they looking at you on camera got you getting the phone man here are five times corrupt cop actually got caught starting with the story of an officer caught driving Under the Influence while off duty was anybody drinking ater your buddy's house that's where you're coming from no that's okay cool all right um I'd like to do a field sobriety test on you just to make sure that you're okay to continue driving um are you willing to go through a field surity test so I don't have my ankle brace on I BR my ankle in the gun fight you I broke my ankle in the gun fight as a cop my right ankle okay I don't have my bra also have an in Sp l so have some instability in my hips and everything else so are you not not able to do a standardized fied sobriety test so I I totally feel safe to drive home but I I do have some injuries this is an officer from the Albuquerque Police Department on December 26th 2024 a sheriff's deputy pulled over the Albuquerque officer while driving his personal vehicle off duty the Albuquerque officer was observed speeding and failing to maintain his Lane while driving home from a friend friend's house watch how the off-duty cop tries to excuse himself after realizing his corrupt actions have been exposed what's up man man how's it going why why you driving like that might not be a good driver what's that might not be a good driver you might not be a good driver you were going 80 M an hour where are you coming from bu out how much have you had to drink nothing at all okay well so when I flipped around the catch up to you you were going 80 M an hour that's why I turned around um when I turned around you were failing to maintain your lane too you understand why that's concerning right okay where where been confronted by the sheriff's deputy the off-duty cop claimed to have not consumed alcohol and provided vague excuses for his driving stating he was not a good driver he further went on and provide a variety of excuses such as broken ankle arthritis and previous hand injuries as reasons he could not perform standardized field sobriety tests however watch how he makes the situation worse for behavior and determined the officer was intoxicated leading to an arrest for DWI although the officer refused a breath test he requested a blood test instead the deputy outlined the legal cons consequences of refusing the breath test including possible license suspension and enhanced sentencing a search of the officer's vehicle found no open alcohol containers though an empty beer four-pack package was discovered the officer was charged with aggravated DWI speeding and failure to maintain Lanes but continues to be employed by the Albuquerque Police Department if you think this was the only corrupt cop who actually got caught wait until you watch the case of this next officer that is all you're doing is things worse that's fine because if this has to escalate if this has to escalate Department on August 1st 2020 officer Jones was captured on CCTV stealing a phone from a 31-year-old man at a club despite clear video evidence showing him picking up the phone placing it in his pocket and leaving the club officer Jones denied the allegations and remained uncooperative throughout the investigation watch how officer Jones is undeterred even after being shown the footage I'm asking you for permission okay you looking at him like like he officer Jones continued to deny taking the phone and refused to cooperate asserting that that his hands were visible at all times and even inviting officers to search him which they declined as the situation escalated he became argumentative and resisted arrest leading the officers to call for backup during the incident officer Jones insisted on contacting his supervisor Lieutenant Clark watch how the interrogating officers handle the escalating tension with officer Jones that is all you're doing is making things worse that's fine because if this has to escalate if this has to escalate shut the [ __ ] up I know I know the rules I've been a police off for aing year okay right now you're being told you're under arrest Jones was ultimately arrested after refusing to comply with officer commands with his escalating Behavior resulting in additional charges of resisting arrest further footage revealed him outside the club examining the phone before placing it back in his pocket if you think this was the height of a cop's corruption you are probably unaware of this next case how you feeling I'm feeling okay okay 2023 Officer James was in involved in a head-on collision while driving southbound with the other vehicle traveling Northbound he admitted to drinking alcohol a few hours before the accident but denied being intoxicated stating he was unsure where the vehicles crossed Lanes Officer James was subjected to multiple field sobriety test to assess his claim I'm coming southbound she's coming Northbound inside Lanes both times I don't know where we cross okay you're going south she's going north she's going north inside Lanes on both equal length traffic okay okay talk to over here where James's condition was exposed during the sobriety tests he he had recently claimed to have had knee surgery but was compliant enough to undergo the procedures as a result Officer James was arrested and charged with DUI causing bodily harm and received other traffic citations he was informed of the legal process including the potential license suspension outlined under DUI statutes if you think this was the peak of a police officer's corruption wait until you hear about the next case do you understand the test I passed every test except this one I mean like I'm trying to it's it's this left drink was four or five hours ago this is officer Joe Rossy Jr from the Delaware County Sheriff's Office in 2021 off-duty officer Joe Rossy Jr was stopped for driving 51 miles per hour in a 25 miles per hour Zone claiming he was just trying to get home officer Rossy identified himself as a police officer and mentioned he was driving a rental car he appeared highly intoxicated showing clear signs of impairment when the officer observed his impairment he decided to put him through several of the field tests he he just took off from his friends he's uh 12200 how you doing you want to shut the car off for me please yeah sure I'm a police officer in Delaware County okay give your A license registration Insurance c yeah this is a rental car okay um what did I do uh you were doing 51 m per hour in a 25 M per hour Zone oh I'm sorry officer I'm I'm just trying to go home trying to get back see your license please yeah sure sorry about that I have like all my information um I just want the five hours officer Rossy struggled to complete several field sobriety tests attributing his poor performance to a bruised hip from a fall at home involving his cat and a TV he explained that he had tripped over curtains while trying to stop his cat from escaping which caused his injury officer Rossy admitted to drinking four beers earlier in the day claiming his last drink was approximately 4 to 5 hours before being stopped drove down here met my friend and then we went to Keenan I had food did you go golfing actually I did yeah I saw the golf B yeah the golf BS out golfing today how you guys are hiring too um you were able to golf today no I actually never got out no okay yeah CU of my hip I I mean I'll keep trying if you want me like I feel like I've never gone through anything like this it's it's like weird and embarrassing um in Pennsylvania you just give a I mean I'm not all right sir all right sounds good right now we're going to place on the rest for driving all intoxicated all called Knockouts he insists that he is fine to drive and even suggests that the officer escort him home however the officer still has suspicion on him of being intoxicated and therefore decided to run
