idiot cops are everywhere and they make every situation more difficult than it needs to be but what happens when their bosses put them in their place here are four cases where idiot cops got humiliated by their bosses come back over here for me all right what's that can you go stand back over where you were for me sir there's something wrong with being here yes sir there is I don't I don't want you to be in direct line with that vehicle I'd like for you to go back to where you were standing you can continue filming all you'd like but I I don't want you right here am I interfering uh well technically now you're starting to pose into somebody else's private property with your with your video videoing yes sir hey did they give you permission to film inside their truck I don't need permission on public in public somebody in somebody's vehicle I don't need permission on public no not to film us you're correct but to film inside somebody's vehicle that's an extension of their house and that is a private place so you do need somebody's permission to film inside their vehicle but is that a crime uh if they decided is yes who's are they the two we got in the back Mark cars if they don't want you filming or they you didn't get permission from them you can't be filming inside their cars well you guys look all I'm asking you to do is go stand back over where you were even if I was back there I can still see inside the car okay so go stand back over there it's simple as that cuz right now now that I'm having to come over here and ask you to move again now you're interfering with our investigation cuz instead of me being no Focus over here I got to focus on you so if you can just go stand over there I can call a supervisor if you'd like this is Deputy Chelly of the new brownell's police department who seemed to have nothing better to do than to detain people for filming on public property a journalist had been filming when chel came into view in a threatening manner to ask him what he was doing so Sergeant here he said he over here talking in just a little bit okay what's up our our Sergeant he said he's going to be over here talking just a little bit he's here he's actually all right you got a business card or anything a business card not only I can get you one out of my car in a little bit all right cool uh you need my name badge number what do you need yeah that's what I was going to that was that's what I was going to need but I can't hear over the highway Noise Okay so you need need all of our badge numbers or just yours and uh I guess if the superv needs to speak with me I'll talk to him oh he doesn't need to speak to you I thought you wanted to speak to him yeah yeah I'll talk to him I mean if you don't want if you don't need to speak to him I'll tell him not to waste his time no no he's already here so I'm not going to waste his time he already in trouble over here so I'll talk to him briefly okay okay and like I said he'll be more than happy to give you anybody's name or badge number that's here okay um and then if you need business cards or anything like that you give us a little bit we'll be able to get some business cards too if you'd like no just yours that's it okay okay I can I can get you one okay all right hang time for me the journalist explained himself as as best as he could and that should have been the end of the interaction but Deputy Chelly demanded ID even though he knew that the journalist had a right to refuse your driver's license what's that do you have your driver's license or named de for for what well cuz now you're a witness to this crime that we're doing what crime is that crime that we got these people in the back of these car stores I don't know what crime they committed you don't have to know but okay but how do I know what they did though I don't know what they did okay they broke the law they're in possession of narcotics that's why they're in the back of our cars okay now you're telling me that okay yeah so do you have your name in dead bird no or driver's license no so you're going to refuse to be listed as a witness since you're you sat here and videotaped the entire scene if you need a copy of the video I can give you the copy of the video well yeah but we're also going to need to identify you in our report that you were here videoing so when we come to get a copy of that video we can get that all right let me talk to your supervisor he said that he would want to give us our name his name or date of birth until he talks to our supervisor so and you're probably going to end up going to jail cuz right now you're witnessing a crime well I asked to talk to a supervisor he's here so why can I speak with them because you're refusing to give your information you'll be going to jail for failure to identify as your witness to a crime so I need to give you my so I need to give you my idea to speak to your supervisor is that what you're telling me no okay I need to speak to your supervisor why do you need to speak to Super because I request to speak that because I request to speak to him and he's here okay so what's your point he's here I need to speak with him he's got you've got no part of the scene right but you want to speak to our super you can you can speak to him okay yeah but you'll be in handcuff will be at the jail when the journalist did refuse chel was affronted and started to threaten him with arrest he even refused to let the man see a supervisor okay what ises that what does that to do the thing do you have permission to be here did the owner trespass me well he actually this guy he doesn't want you here this guy actually did tell us he wanted you to leave that guy right there so what's his name so what's your point what's what's the guy's name that don't want me here so do you want to identify yourself so we can list you as a witness to this crime or I'm just asking the S question the guy that you just talked to he doesn't want me here yes so is he you for me to go ask him to tell you to leave himself don't do you already had that notice yes he told us when he came over here and gave me his business then why do you have to go ask him then if you would like for him to tell you himself he can tell me whatever he needs to do before I leave here I just have to get his badge number and his uh or his business card whatever the case may be Stephanie camelli 315 is my badge number okay all right so my only problem is I was just here y'all can step over here I don't want y'all to get so I can get your business card yeah um but this is what I do I film what public officials doing public property I'm a journalist I gather concert for stories that's Co um but this officer here was telling me that I had to move back over there I couldn't stand over there and I was asking him why he told me that I I wasn't allowed to film inside the vehicle here but I mean that's that's how that's their privacy too we got to get their consent to go in so it makes it any different for you well that's to go in but I'm not going I'm just I'm just observing that's kind of like equivalent to this is his property but I can't film it because it's on his property you you see what I'm saying it doesn't make sense and it's not against the law okay so he needs to get educated on that because that's clearly not the case okay now am I currently being detained here or am I free to go you're free to go man I I'm here I came all the way from kany Lake to talk needid you need to identify me yes sir the supervisor was professional and he successfully resolved the situation in a very short time and and in a calm manner yet Deputy Chelly and his fellow officers hadn't had enough because you're a witness to a crime and you sat here and recorded the whole crime I don't know what crime was committed I told you yeah you told me but I didn't know I didn't know two individuals are under arrest for possession of Narcotics I didn't see you said that you still wouldn't identify yourself until you spoke to our Sergeant now you spoke to the sergeant so I need to get your name and date of birth I can give you a copy of the vehicle I can give you a copy of the V I don't need a copy of need identifying information so I can list you as a witness right now you're faing the ID as a witness to a crime heyy what's your first name man I know what what's your first name I'll give you my first name it's Phil Phil pH I'll give you that best case scenario that female and that male says that we did something against the law eight cops eight cops against one one one person right so you know who I would want I would want the guy who's not even involved in this to be my witness that's how it works like I said this is what I do that's how it works that's what we're trying to explain to you so they need me as a witness you're part of a you're part of you're part of any type of information that anybody that comes we're going to have to idea him because he's in our cameras now just yeah everybody that are you going to give you your name and date of birth or not I'm talking to a sergeant right now he's he's not talking to you he's on the phone I'm not talking to you either I it doesn't matter guess what we both have the same job High one way or another he's a higher rank than you that's why I that's this is who I as to speak with he's here so that's who I'm speaking with that's great I made contact with you before he did doesn't matter all right let's go here reason AR you're not doing anything wrong and uh but here's the deal they got a point there I mean this you're worst case scenario is that your camera would be part of evidence but we're not going to go there because I have a camera I have plent of cameras going so I don't need your camera now if something were to happen to where man we get into a shooting or something or a fight and somebody gets hurt then you know what I'm taking your camera cuz that's so so you got to be careful with that the lot and future okay when you're doing this because on that one I I'll tell you there was a shooting on six street that happened not too long ago and I helped Aid them catch you to shoot it and I have no problem with that no no no but that but that's what that's what's called evidence it's not it's not that I want your camera because I want you to stop doing this it's just that man you you would be surprised how much what how many angles we need nowadays you so here's and that's the point that they're trying to get it the cops insisted that the journalist had to provide ID because he was witness to an important scene there way of going about it was so Rogue and disrespectful that the supervisor had to step in again to settle things down with calmness and professionalism he was able to get the journalist to identify himself and even share a business card like Deputy Chelly above there are many other officers who seem to know nothing about deescalation take officer Dukes for instance hey let me see your hands B get on the ground get on the ground get on the ground right here who me get on the ground you burgy shark get on the ground over here on the ground I on the ground get on the ground do you know this is Officer Dukes who had received a report about a man trying to get into a house by forcing his way with a firearm on getting to the scene without any confirmation Dukes assumed that the man in the burgundy shirt named Clarence gay was the suspect there's a gun behind me there's a gun I believe behind me I ain't got no gun nothing put your hand behind your back is there a gun back there Ain no gun by that truck it wasn't by the truck no gun you're not listening dude [Music] you got a gun on you man no I ain't got no gun I don't want no [Music] gun turn back over PA you watching he had something I no the door's unlocked no he was right here watch him go watch [Music] him there it is that's what he had Dukes forced gilard to the ground claiming that he saw a gun with him gilard who had rods and pins in his legs from a recent replacement surgery was complying as best as he could this idiot cop on the other hand did not care and ended up slamming the man's head into the ground to make matters worse what the officer assumed to be a gun was only a wrapped baton that Gailard was using to protect himself from stray dogs put 25 got one time all right put your leg that way you stand all right about to hold hold on hold on all right ready 1 2 3 yeah listen y they slam my head down on the cement go back inside go back in the house go back in the house ain't nobody talking to you I got head Dr go back in the house yeah y'all bust my head down I've been in accident yep y'all bust my head down you throw me down I sure did you was listen y know it a you a had to thow me down like that I'm disability okay I got the head problem y you throw me down y you throw me down you throw me down yep you bust my head down on the cement y you bust my head forehead broke my head down on the C he was he was in front of the car when I came up he was walking like this and I I thought it was a gun at first I said drop the gun drop the gun drop the gun drop the gun the gunpoint he's over here doing something like this you my head you my head what he was doing is putting this up behind the tire so he comes over right here he got his hands in his pockets I'm tell him let me see your hands let me see your hands let me see your hands my head he wasn't listening no he got the like this right here we went the ground my head on thankfully officer Duke's colleagues and his superiors were repulsed by his behavior and refused to cover for him I mean his you know that's that's the reasons I did what I did you know what I'm saying that's where I'm coming from got no gone or nothing because when he was behind the truck I couldn't see what he was doing and I didn't know where that Ain nothing there where that went was still in his pockets when he come around that car with his hands in his pockets do off on camera do so come out of C yes take him out handle yeah he can come out oh Lord you minding hey good how are you what's going on Slam before years down in okay wrong for that did you Consciousness yeah can I get a car for you I don't have one man we don't have they don't give us cards okay what's your badge number 1059 let me see if I can get my phone hold hold on we we we have cars okay the BL okay go to hospital yeah Dukes lied that they weren't given cards but another officer caught his lie and presented their cards to the man officer Dukes was fired immediately and charged with assault and battery but if you think this is satisfying wait until you watch this jersey cop get owned twice by his supervisor working on a story for the township you're working on a story for the township well about the township for for for me for you yes you Mak a documentary um it's a news story a news story yeah you have ID I always have ID okay can you provide that no you can do whatever you want but you need to identify who you are no you don't yeah I do no you don't I do sir no you don't yes I do and what law is that well it came in as a suspicious person anytime we investigate as to somebody calling about suspicious we need to at least identify who it is we spoke to you're not in trouble in any way should perform okay then I don't need to give I dat well you do whatw is that to know who you are what law is that I'm investigating a crime it's actually called obstruction if you fail to provide documentation no quote that statute quot obstruction apparently you don't a journalist was working on a story about the township when officer mosella walked up to him demanding ID the journalist refused but Mella persisted even though he knew that the man didn't have to comply sir look I'm not looking I have to commit an unlawful act and prevent you from performing your unlawful duty to be in violation of obstruction currently right now act right now it's it's came in as a suspicious and and what statute is is suspicious has nothing to do with it what's the law to determine what's going on it's all taky who you are you're telling me you're doing something that's fine but I need to verify who you are so in the event that something turns into something I at least can say all right I went out and I spoke with this person you're making this more difficult than it needs to be no you are not really you can come out and say good morning sir how you doing taking pictures enjoying your first amendment of right to take pictures in public what was the first thing that I said to you today what you doing I said no I said how are you sir okay how are you did I not say that to you so you just asked me what did I do and I already told you what I said I said how are you and I said what are we doing and you told me what you're doing I said that's fine and I explain to you why I need documentation from you just to verify who you are okay but you don't need to verify who I am I unfortunately do no I have the right to privacy in public you do to a certain degree yeah and this is within that degree yes yeah officer mosella admitted that the journalist's right to privacy extended to that degree but he still insisted on getting his ID but but but again if we're investigating it for suspicious because somebody called it in it's not like we just it doesn't matter if somebody called it in yes it does okay so if you're outside on your property mowing your lawn and somebody says you're suspicious and the police come by you have to give them your ID to verify that you live there yeah no you don't it's your property titled to follow the law which is this person you just need to verify who you are and identify who you are and what what statute is suspicious what law am I breaking sir I'm again I'm not I already went over this with you I don't need to go and you haven't Justified yourself yet I I do and listen again if you fail to provide your documentation you can be placed under arrest for obstru otherwise you are going to be placed under arrest for obstruction I do not have identification on me well s then you lied to me because when I first asked you if you had identification on you you told me yes I do oh I had fingerprints and retinas no that's that's incorrect I ask you do you have documentation do you have identification you can go back into your video recorder and you can verify can I just ask you what you're doing here yes sir I'm in public taking pictures of a public building expressing my First Amendment right to freedom of press I'm here to actually file a complaint okay you have that right you have all those rights you just you just well he appears to tell me that I don't now just just so you know there are areas of this building that are posted ABS liit yep like the back of that parking lot there it says restricted you can't go back there areas or video those areas absolutely other than that if you want to walk around with your camera you can walk around with your camera and I don't need to show ID to do that you don't have to show ID right now no sir don't all right sir how's that that's incorrect actually in that respect oh is it is it so your Sergeant's wrong your Sergeant's wrong what we were going to we're not going to get into argument here so we're all I was just threatened with arrest for not providing identification it's the violation of Fourth Amendment all right sir but now we're clear on what's going on right is he are we all clear is he clear cuz I'm clear and you're clear every everybody here is clear sir very good sir thank you continue what you're doing I appreciate your help right you have a good day you too all right thank you very much thank you all right have a nice day officer you too sir hope you learn something today the supervisor arrived to resolve the situation and educate his subordinate all in one breath he successfully cleared up a situ situation that should never have happened in the first place but this was neither the first nor the last time when a superior would have to set their subordinate straight in camera the next case is another classic example I need you to get out of the street your Qui officer Myers 6181 it's not illegal for us to stand in the middle right here at this time so as long as you guys are cognizant of that if we need medical emergency medical attention if you guys got to go go hands on or whatever after a sergeant told these pedestrians that they could stay where they were offic Myers a junior officer came to tell them they couldn't and she was immediately humbled by their response go and step out of the street for me is that a lawful order yep pedestrian in a roadway pedestrian in a roadway I need you to get out of do so now or you will be arrested Sergeant just told me I can be here why do you think I'm back yeah we just had a conversation with a sergeant he said we can stand here okay I'm going to double check you're in my personal bubble though okay it makes me uncomfortable I have weapons on me that are with escal is there a crime scene I'm not interfering with anything you are in my area I need you to back away you're you're with you're within hands reach of my weapons and I need you to back up lady right here Myers wants to arrest me nice try lady remember when you said you're going to arrest me for being in the street but that guy was cool huh I think you got pretty girl syndrome Myers officer Myers later claimed that she was asking them to leave because they were in her personal bubble but as we all know personal bubble is not a lawful order and Myers had to do the Walk of Shame as she was humbled very quickly if you enjoyed this video let me know in the comments section and don't forget to to subscribe goodbye
