I'm going to go home. >> Drive. No, you're not. Don't drive away. >> Don't drive away, >> sir. >> He's taking off. >> Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. WATCH OUT. GET ON THE GROUND. YOU'RE GOING TO BE YOU'RE GOING TO BE TASED. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. >> There's a quite a number of beer cans you got there. >> What's up with that? Driving is a privilege and not a right. In the wrong hands, a motor vehicle is potentially a dangerous two-tonon weapon. But still, there are a lot of irresponsible people out there who get behind the wheel of a car and endanger people's lives. But when the cops catch up to them, these idiot drivers realize pretty quickly that they're not above the law. On the 27th of August 2024, an officer spotted a speeding motorist and tried to initiate a stop. However, what should have been a routine procedure transformed into something far worse after the female driver refused to follow instructions. Hello. You're in a big hurry this morning. I'm >> going to work. My job is over there. No. Yeah. Just like What's a big hurry? It's like 45, right? >> It's 45. Yeah. >> How fast do you think you were going? >> 40. >> Oh, 75. >> Me? >> Yeah. Under the overpass. 75 miles an hour. >> Was I I'm so sorry. So then I was trying to get to work. Yeah. >> Okay. Do you have your driver's license and proof of insurance with you? >> The woman handed the officer her license. She claimed she had insurance but was having trouble locating her documents. To help the woman out, and to ensure she was covered, he said he would happily accept some digital proof from an insurance provider. Unfortunately, the driver here couldn't find anything. >> If you got into a crash, what would you show the other driver that you had insurance? >> Hold on. God forbid. >> Well, you're doing 30 over the the chances of that happening are getting exponentially greater. >> 2450. >> Okay, that's just a transaction receipt that doesn't show me anything. >> They sent me, you know, the the actual it's in my email. >> Okay, you hold on to that. Give me a second. I'll get you out of here. All right. So, I am giving you a ticket for the speeding and for not having proof of insurance with you. You're going to get >> Yes. You'll be added. >> Yes, ma'am. a proof of insurance. It I'm calling them and I showed you that >> if you got involved in a crash, you're required to show proof of >> involved in a crash. Are you targeting me like now? Like you want me just to be upset? >> The woman should have been thankful because technically she was getting off easy. She'd already been informed she was going 30 over the limit, so a speeding ticket should have been no surprise. Also, it was anybody's guess why she somehow thought that she could drive around without proof of insurance. The cop wasn't being mean. He was doing his job. >> I'm like really irritated now. >> Okay. You were doing 75 miles an hour. The speed limit's 40. >> I can't be on 75. >> I got you with laser. I got you at >> Your laser probably need to be fixed >> because it is 30 mph over the speed limit. You have a mandatory court appearance. They are going to subpoena you. I'm very like you know >> I understand my work and now this >> I did not cause this >> I I am not responsible for your driving. >> What do you mean they're not responding? >> Like you're not >> your actions are the reason that we're here. You are given these in lie of being arrested. So I need your signature on the lines I just told you. you were giving uh citations in lie of being arrested. >> Clearly, she was less than impressed. The tickets were one thing, but the court appearance pushed her right over the edge. The cop explained she had to sign the citations or she'd be arrested. She ignored his warning. >> You sign these or you come with me? >> Give me a minute, sir. >> There's no minute. We've been here for 10 minutes already. >> Yes. I I've been for more than that. Just please give me a minute, >> ma'am. Yeah. A minute, ma'am. >> Yeah. >> Look at me. >> A minute. Yeah. Give me a minute. >> No minute. Let's go. >> What do you mean let's go? You can't call me. >> Excuse me. Don't touch me. >> Out of the car, >> sir. Give me a minute, sir. You can't You can't do that to me. >> Out of the car. >> Hello, >> ma'am. Yes. Uh, >> the officer is pulling me out the car. >> What are you doing? >> On your feet. What? What do you mean? I did not do nothing. >> Just give me a minute. >> Oh, ma'am. >> Give me that. >> I asked you. No. Well, you already passed that point. >> No. What do you mean? >> Put your hands behind your back. >> No. Just give me a minute, sir. You What did I do to you? >> I've already explained this to you. >> Okay. Well, let me just sign it. Please. >> Hands behind your back. >> Please. >> He'd already given the woman plenty of chances to cooperate. When things don't go their way, suspects sometimes try and drag things out. But what these people need to learn, though, is that you can't delay the inevitable. And if you try to, things will only get worse. >> Don't touch me. Don't touch me. Don't touch me. >> Okay, we're going to go to the ground then. >> Gently. Hurry. All the way down. >> Leave me alone. >> My work is over there. What did I do to you? >> Maybe I need to go to the hospital. >> Okay, we can arrange that. You're still going to go to jail afterwards. >> Please leave me alone. What did I do to you? I'm I'm going to sign. Leave me to my No, sir. I I Sir, please. Sir, I'm so sorry, sir. What do you need me to do? >> I've already explained to you what I needed from you. You refused to comply up to this point. >> You are now being arrested for obstruction. >> What did I do? >> Do you want to stand or do you want to lay on the ground? >> She was acting just like a spoiled toddler. If she didn't want to get manhandled, all she had to do was take the tickets and sign them on the dotted line. She's the one who chose to do things the hard way, and she had no one to blame but herself. >> Sir, I beg you. I I'll sign. I'll do whatever you want. Just leave me. I'm so sorry. >> You had the opportunity to sign. >> I beg you. >> I asked you three times. >> Sir, I'm so sorry. >> You've chose not to do that. That's why we are here where we are now. >> CVS parking lot only 38. [crying] >> This woman needs to stop playing the victim. Considering she was only stopped for speeding, things shouldn't have escalated this far. Since the cop was on motorcycle patrol, he called for another unit to take the suspect to jail. >> All right, your ride's here. You're going to need to get up. >> You good? >> Please. I did not do nothing. [crying] I said I'm sorry. >> Do you have anything on you that can't go with you? Anything that'll poke or stab or anything like that? >> Take me. Okay, >> sir. Please, I beg you, sir. Sir, I'm sir. I did not do nothing. Sir, >> you're going to have to take these bracelets off. >> No, sir. Sir, please. >> You're do it after. >> I'll show you. >> This sir, please. Sir, I >> Okay, stop turning around this way. >> You're just making this far more difficult, >> sir. I have >> than it had to be. >> Clearly, she was just wasting her breath. There was no way she was going to talk her way out of the arrest. Despite being told again and again, she was still claiming she didn't know she had to sign the tickets. >> All you had to do is sign the citations. >> Okay, I'll sign it. >> No, no. See, we've passed that point when I asked you three times and then I told you to get out of the car and you still didn't comply. >> I called my my attorney because I did not know what the reason. >> You did not know even though I explained to you three times. >> I'm sorry, sir. Please, please let it go. >> I understand you're very remorseful. Do you have anything in your pocket? >> I have nothing. >> You're going to have to have a seat in this car. >> Turn it. >> Can I go to the other side or get my >> Yeah. >> Sir, let let me call my boss. >> Have a seat, please. >> My phone. >> Have a seat, please. >> I'm so >> sit all the way in, please. >> Sit all the way in. >> Sit all the way in, please. >> Where are you taking me? >> Have a seat, ma'am. You're only getting more charges the more you don't comply. Okay. >> Please sit inside the car. >> Feet inside the car. >> Feet inside the car. >> Sir, I'm afraid. Sir, don't do this to >> This woman turned nothing into something, but she ended up with a charge of resisting without violence. On the 27th of January 2025, a cop saw a driver asleep behind the wheel and performed a welfare check. But if you thought that was bad, just wait till you see where he fell asleep. The worst thing wasn't the sleeping part. It was where the man's car was. Hey, sir. Sheriff's office. Sir, put this vehicle in park for me. You almost ran me over. >> What's going on, man? What's that? >> I don't know where it is. >> Put this vehicle in park. >> Sir, where are you coming from? You're sound asleep at the wheel. >> Right here. >> Where's right here? >> At my house. >> You have any type of medical conditions? >> No. >> Where are you coming from, bud? >> No, my house right here. >> Where's your house? >> Right right here at at third court in >> Okay. Okay. Is the vehicle in park? >> Yes. >> Okay. Need you to keep in park. You almost ran me over. Okay. You're sound asleep at the wheel. >> I'm sorry. >> No. Okay. >> At this point, it was hard to tell if the man had a medical condition or if he might have been under the influence. Either way, falling asleep behind the wheel in the middle of the road is incredibly dangerous, especially when your car isn't even in park. >> So, I've got I got a Vera Beach PD officer coming to talk to you, man. So, just want to advise you when I got up to you, you were sound asleep at the wheel. Okay. When I tapped on the window, you proceeded to drive forward and almost run me over. Okay. >> So, >> okay. >> Um, >> so just hang tight for me. Did you have lunch somewhere? I see I see that there. >> Water tavern. Yeah. >> Water tavern. Water tavern. >> Is that a restaurant? >> Yeah. That's a Royal Palm Point. >> Yeah. >> That's What time did you leave there? >> Oh, >> I don't know. >> You don't know? >> Exactly. >> Okay. You have your driver's license on you? >> The man showed the officer his driver's license and reassured the officer that he did not have any medical conditions. While they waited for backup to arrive, the officer continued asking questions, trying to get a better understanding of his mental state. >> See all these cars going around you, man? You see where you stopped at? >> Yep. I Yeah, I just asking for the medical cuz I mean, you were sound asleep, man. I just want to emphasize you were asleep. >> Yeah. I think there's another reason behind that. >> Yeah, you were sleeping behind the wheel at You know, you know what time it is right now? >> About 4:00. >> About 4:00. You know where we at right now? Do you know that? >> India Boulevard and 6th Avenue. >> Okay. >> It's 2:30 in the afternoon. >> Yeah. >> Little bit off. No, >> not too far. Just a little bit. >> What time did you get to Water Tavern this morning? >> Like noon. >> Noon. Have anything to drink there? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> I'm not going to lie to you. >> I appreciate it. No, >> I can smell it. I can s I can smell the alcohol. >> I see it right here. >> Right over here. >> I got you. That odor the cop was smelling pretty much said it all. It wasn't a medical condition or anything like it. He was simply drunk. It didn't matter if his house was just around the corner because based on the state he was in, he absolutely had no business being behind the wheel whatsoever. >> Can I go to my house and you guys could be there? >> No, man. We can't let you drive. >> No, unfortunately not. Not at this point in time. Yeah, because we're in the jurisdiction of the city. I just want to see if they figure out solution to get you home or whatever. >> Yeah. Okay. It's just it's been a tough day. >> I got you, man. I got you. >> My safety for you is my number one concern. >> No, listen. And I appreciate that. >> Yes, sir. >> Yeah, >> I do. I do. >> Can I take my cell phone? >> What's that? >> Can I take myself? Vero's right there. We're going to get situated. We're going to get that figured out. Don't Don't drive off. >> Okay. >> Don't drive off. You hear me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Don't Don't make this worse than what it's got to be. Okay. >> I'm going to go home. >> Drive. No, you're not. Don't drive away. >> Don't drive away, sir. >> He's taking off. >> It was already serious, but the suspect took it to another level. Running from the cops while drunk with an officer right on his tail was downright reckless. Even if he did make it back to his house, they just arrest the man there. This guy's plan had zero logic that he was going to have to pay a price for it. >> Southbound Boulevard through the parking lot. the pit. >> He just crashed out. >> Pine tree. >> Had him stop the UI. The suspect turned his traffic stop into a full-blown police chase in a residential area right down the street from his own house. Considering how drunk he was, he was lucky there weren't serious injuries or worse. >> Let me see your hands. Let me see YOUR HANDS. TURN AWAY FROM ME. >> Keep your hands out. >> I got him at gunpoint. Pine Tree Park. >> You just made the worst DECISION IN YOUR LIFE. TURN AROUND AWAY FROM ME. Keep your hands in the air. Go to your knees. Go to your knees. Put the interlock your fingers. Put them on the back of your head. Cross your legs. And you stay in that position. Do not move. You understand? >> In just a matter of minutes, the man's day went from bad to worse. He clearly thought that he was above the law from the moment he decided to flee from police. That's the kind of entitlement that turns a simple screw up into potentially a felony. Stand up. Stand up. Told you I got one hand. Leg against the car. Watch your head when you step up there, sir. This was a really bad decision on your part. >> Yes, I I understand that. >> Hang tight. >> I've got him. He's sound asleep at the boulevard in the city. I'm waiting for the city to get there. I don't want him to go anywhere. He talked me for a good 10 minutes and he's like, I'm going to take off. I'm leaving. And hits the gas pedal and takes off. >> Wow. >> Yeah. He's signal one. >> With the suspect in the back of a cruiser and secured in handcuffs, he was read his rights before they asked him more questions. As the man's demeanor switched so abruptly from cooperative to criminal, the officer wanted to know what on earth he was thinking. >> So, what's going on, man? I obviously I'm sitting there talking to you. Okay. >> I know. I >> You know what? >> I I I don't know. You know, >> you don't know. Okay. So, we're sitting there having a normal conversation, right? >> I advise you and I kept communication line with you the whole time. You said that you're going to leave. I said you're not going to leave. Why would you leave? >> [snorts] >> I don't know. >> Okay. You don't know? >> No. >> Okay. Is it cuz you probably had too many too many drinks? >> Probably. >> Okay. All right. Hang tight. Okay. >> What you need? >> Oh, he's highly intoxicated. All right, man. So, I know you I still read you your Miranda. Okay. So, at this point in time, uh we're we're ending the crash investigation. Uh you're obviously going to be charged for fleeing a lude. Okay. Um [music] now, at this point in time, my question to you is, are you willing to do field sobriety exercises? >> Sure. >> You're willing to do those? Okay. >> Well, no, maybe I shouldn't. >> It's completely up to you. With the emittance of odor alcohol beverage coming off your breath, you know, your slur speech, your glassy eyes, uh, I have reason to believe that you're under the influence of alcohol. You told me where you're coming from. So, >> no. I And I agree with that. >> It's and it's your choice whether you want to do them or not. >> So, what's what's what's the consequences of whether I do or >> I'm not here to give you legal advice. I'm just here to ask if if you're willing to know. >> Okay, hang tight. >> On top of being charged with fleeing and eluding, he was given multiple other charges. It should have been a simple stop for DUI, but instead he's now going to face some serious legal battles. On the 1st of May 2024 in Florida, a cop on patrol spotted a blue sedan that had a shattered windshield. Having recognized the driver from previous incidents, he quickly turned his lights on to initiate a traffic stop. Miss Cali, I need you to open the window. 10 for 87 to Cookie Beach. Can you see if there's a kilo available? Miss Kelly officer, >> can you roll down the window from Miss Kelly? You remember me? >> Huh? >> No. >> I was the one that dealt with you a couple times. >> What do you mean? >> Huh? >> Now, take note. She's moved herself over to the passenger seat. The officer was familiar with her, having stopped her recently for previous violations. When he asked the woman for license and registration, she had a story for the officer. >> I I wasn't driving. >> Yes, ma'am. You were. I watched you. I actually also watched you get from the driver's seat to the passenger seat. >> I know my boyfriend cuz he >> Yes, I know your boyfriend. I watched you get from the driver's seat to the passenger seat. >> So, I told my boyfriend, >> ma'am, please call my boyfriend, please. >> Where's your boy? Where is he? >> He's at work. >> Where does he work? [laughter] Calm down. I'm not I'm not arguing with you. Where's he at? >> Jazzies. >> He's at Jazzy's. [music] So, you're saying he was driving, but he was at Jazzies. >> I NEVER CALL MY BOYFRIEND. >> OKAY. Do not No, Miss Kelly, this is not going to go well. Okay. >> Kelly was pushing her luck. He directly ordered the woman to not roll up her window, but she continued ignoring him. To get this woman out, he might have to resort to desperate measures, so he had to call for backup. Hey, Kelly, you need to open up or we're going to break the window. >> Open up or we're going to break the window. [snorts] >> Hey. Hey. Can you open the door, please? We're not in any trouble. Okay. Just need to get you out. You're all right, ma'am. Stay there. Don't press the car on. >> She's going to drive. >> Let's go. She's going to drive. Let's go. >> Get out, man. Get out. Get out of the car. I got to get out. Get out. Get out. Good. Got you. Okay. Yep. You good? You're good. Good. Okay. >> Despite the fact that he had to break a window otherwise, the arrest itself went surprisingly smooth. However, that did not mean that dealing with Kelly was going to be easy, as she was obviously in extreme distress. Miss Kelly, [snorts] we got to get up. [crying] >> You got to get up. >> Got to get up. Let's go. >> Medical. I don't even get away from you. >> No, Miss Kelly. >> Okay, Miss Kelly. >> Don't put it back in. Don't put her in a car yet. >> Yeah, >> let let her get checked out. >> Yeah. Orange, Miss Kelly. >> On the side of the road, she continued crying like a 5-year-old. As she was acting delusional and continued shouting nonsense, the cops arranged for EMS to arrive and provide the woman some medical attention. [screaming] [crying] >> [crying] >> I'm in reality. >> Hey, Kelly, you want some water? >> Was this the issue that we were having earlier? >> You want some? Yes. Promise. >> So, okay. You want me to give you some water? Okay. You ready? >> Can I hear a phone call? >> You You will You will in a bit. Okay. >> Okay. >> Here you go. >> I'm trying to give you some water. Okay. windows. >> Let me know when you want some more. Okay. >> You you want a little bit. Okay. >> Let me know when you want some more water. Okay. >> As they talked about the charges she was facing, Kelly did calm down a bit. She also said she didn't want to talk to anyone. Shortly after, the fire department showed up to give Kelly some medical attention. >> Hey, what's up, bro? I see a kid I brought in. >> Yeah, >> we're looking to buy. >> Yeah, my buddy at Guard had it, so I brought it over. How you doing, man? >> Concepts. Apologize. >> All right. Okay. >> You okay? You mind if we go ahead and just look at your legs WHILE YOU'RE BLEEDING? >> NO, I'M DOING I WANT TO call my boyfriend. [screaming] ETH just from Steph camera. Just look at the cuts. Make sure there's no blasting. >> Have to be careful when we have to go through. >> All right. So, based off what I'm seeing, the amount of blood is >> probably superficial. >> Okay. But I'm not going to risk him getting kicked in the face. >> Absolutely not. Yeah. No. No. I don't blame you. >> After examining the woman, they quickly determined she didn't require serious medical assistance. All they wanted to do was apply some bandages to her feet, but they were a little bit worried she might kick someone in the face. She then told the cops something that they definitely didn't expect to hear. >> I really don't want to get like set up on charges. >> Huh? >> I'm a different kind of female. >> What happened? >> I keep a pocket to my >> Why? >> Because I can. >> That's not safe. I don't give A >> Y'ALL ARE INSANE. >> MISS KELLY, can you look at me for a second? >> No. Why not? >> I really don't want to LOOK AT YOU. I'M GOING LOOK AT HIM. >> WHO DO you want to look at? Him. >> Look at one of them. Can you look at one of them then? >> You know, >> Miss Kelly, [snorts] >> do you remember me? >> I do. >> Okay. Was Am I mean to you right now? >> Doesn't matter if you're mean or nice. >> Okay. Miss Kelly, >> I'll get IT OUT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO GET YOU. >> WE'RE GOING TO TALK about it in a second. Okay. Hey, Miss Kelly, can you just look at >> this guy away from me BEFORE I USE IT ON HIM? >> WHO? >> I BET I can't. Don't even shot me. >> Regarding that pocket knife, it was a very disturbing and shocking revelation. There was no doubt whatsoever the cops weren't going to help Kelly with that on the side of the road. A job like that was not going to be pretty. And it was clearly a job for nurses and not cops. >> Hey, Heather, Kelly. Hey. Hey. We got to put you in the back of the car. We're going to take you to the hospital. Okay. Here's what I want though. I don't want you to fight us. >> Okay? I'm going to be >> my boyfriend KNOW WHERE I'M GOING. >> I I will make sure he knows. Okay? You have my word on that. >> Please. >> I I will make sure. Hey, >> I need to get you in the back of the car, though, cuz I got to get you to the hospital. >> It's probably all right. >> Okay. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Well, what I need from you, >> I need you not to fight us. >> I won't fight you. >> Okay. Oh my god. >> Can I get you this? >> Can I get Can I get you a promise? >> Pinky swear. >> Pinky swear. >> Okay. I I'll do a little pinky swear. Okay. >> I'm going to put you right in the back of this car. Okay. >> All right. But I got my phone. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. All right. Just when you're when you're uncuffed. >> Reach for me. Don't mess with the seat belt cut. >> Okay. I'm going to get you to the back of that car. Okay. You're not going to fight the other officers. Promise. >> Yeah. Watch your stuff. Okay, here. >> I'm going to go and put your seat belt on. Okay. >> All right. Just relax. Relax. I'm going to make sure he turns on the AC for you. >> They charged the woman with DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving on a suspended with two or more priors. She was given a $1,500 bond, which she later posted. And when it came time for court, she plead not guilty to all charges. On the 6th of August 2023, after spotting a motorist driving with illegally tended windows, the cops initiated a traffic stop. When the officers asked the man to step out of his vehicle, that's when things took a turn for the worse. Hey, turn it off. Turn it off. Turn it off. >> Turn it off. >> Get your license on. >> The reason why I pulled over you, man, is because your window tent. Okay. I don't need your credit card. >> Oh, you listen. Listen. That's going to be Listen. >> Get your tent. >> Hey, watch this here. You can get the window tent. I've intented for my window tent two years ago. Okay. >> And came out on top. But here, >> you give me two inches on you. Actually, do me a favor. Just give me two inches. >> Two inches. >> Yeah. >> Just two inches on the way. That's good. Right there. That's good, buddy. >> Okay. So, 28's the legal tent. >> I already know I'm legal. >> You're not. 17 is where it's at. >> So, illegal. >> That is 28. >> Yes, sir. 28 is the legal limit in the state of Florida. >> God damn. >> So, it needs to be above 28. You're lower than that. So that means you're illegal, which means you cannot see or less clarity of light's coming through this vehicle. >> This guy could swear all day that three years ago, another officer gave him a green light on the window tent. But as the cops just proved to him, plain as day, the level of his tent wasn't within legal limits. But setting that issue aside, it wasn't the only concern the cops had. >> Next time, buddy, I'm just going to straight forward. Come to a complete stop next time. Okay. >> I didn't stop. >> Well, you trying to go to your house or point this? >> No, no, no. I was trying to tell you cuz I was going to park right there and try to >> I got you. Okay. Okay. I thought you was just trying to get the car back. >> I respect that. >> Okay. Thank you, buddy. >> Do me a favor. Step out of the park >> cuz this is >> I smell the odor of burnt mar. >> I understand. I understand. >> Still, this does not give you the out to have smoked marijuana in the car. Just so you know. >> Yeah, but I didn't have smoked marijuana in the car. I had marijuana me on my shirt. That's it. >> So, the odor of burnt marijuana is emitting from the car. >> I'm telling you to get out because that gives me a problem will cause the search of the vehicle. >> This does not give you the out. >> Handing over his medical marijuana card was a pretty good try, but as the officer explained, having that license didn't give him permission to smoke while driving. As a result, he was ordered out of his vehicle, but he refused to do so, telling the officer to call his sergeant. >> Hey, buddy. Go ahead. Under your seat belt. Come talk to me. Okay. Okay. Well, let me call somebody cuz this is crazy, bro. >> You're on body camera, just so you know. >> I I can't be on body camera. >> No, you're fine. That's I'm letting you know. So, just I'm telling you about Let me get my camera, too. Let me get my camera cuz this is crazy, bro. >> This is crazy. You You going to grab some shirts from my shirt and tell me that. No, that ain't that ain't >> Well, sir, I'm >> You got my license? >> I got your license. You don't have to hold it. Just send me another one. I want you to get out of the vehicle because it's a lawful order. Okay? I smell the odor of burnt mar. I'm trying to explain it to you as nice and as polite as it could be, sir. And I haven't >> What you going to do? >> I'm going to search this vehicle. Okay. Because I have >> You can't search my car by no man. >> I sure can, sir. >> No, you can't. You cannot, sir. >> Okay, sir. Look, if you do not cooperate, you're going to be resisting. Okay, that's obstruction of justice. You can't go to jail. >> As the man continued stalling, the cops on scene got increasingly suspicious. If the man had nothing to hide, there was no reason for the man to not step out. The cops knew the man had been smoking weed. And even if he had a joint on him, it wouldn't be the end of the world. >> I am not going to let nobody touch my car. >> Sir, if you do not get out of the vehicle on your own free will, we're going to remove you, okay? And you're going to go to jail. >> Hey, >> hold the section, man. Hold the section. Watch out. Watch out. Watch out. WATCH OUT. WATCH OUT. WATCH OUT. GET ON THE GROUND. YOU'RE GOING TO BE YOU'RE GOING TO BE CHASED. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> OKAY. >> If it's If you resist, YOU WILL BE TASED. >> OKAY. OKAY. >> Put your hands behind your back. Don't move. >> Okay. Okay. Put >> your hands Don't move. >> Okay. >> Don't move. 62.7 clear station 1 to 10. >> This guy's attempt to flee the scene was just pointless and pathetic. The cops nearly shot him and at best he was lucky he didn't get tased. Whatever he was hiding, the cops are going to find it either way. The only difference was now the man got additional charges for fleeing and evading. >> This could have been really >> Can you make a phone call for >> No. No. We'll be on that. What? Come on, man. >> You're just trying TO DRIVE AWAY WITH ME HANGING ON. >> LISTEN, I wasn't trying to drive with you hanging on. I was trying to get to the cop. >> Now you're going to go to jail for resisting. >> Don't go, bro. >> Come on, bro. We're >> We don't need no more units. >> Hold. >> Sorry. All you have to do is get out. >> I try. We pleaded. >> I even look at me. I even told you, brother. Talk to me and you're gonna do this nonsense with this young man, >> bro. >> All right. Stand up on your sit on your butt. >> Stay on your butt. >> Okay. Listen. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're going to give you option to talk this way when you stand up. >> Okay. >> With the man now cooperating and secured in handcuffs, the level of tension subsided. He was escorted to a cruiser and he was placed in the back. While the cops did find on him a very small amount, they were still suspicious that he was hiding something else in the vehicle. >> Have you actually searched them pretty good or not? I got his pockets. >> You got his pockets? >> You have on his shirt, which is still up here. Look, I was like, you got on your shirt. >> I can smell the odor burnt. So, you're getting out of this car. >> Okay. >> Where you get it from? >> Yeah, that was that would have been a pursuit, too. >> Yep. How much? >> Oh, >> you maybe? >> Yeah. >> Unless you want to be a part of just hang out for other than that. >> They had last found out why the man attempted to make a run for it. In the back of the vehicle, there was a massive stash of mariju marijuana card he had would not cover this. >> I mean, >> I don't think this is in a prescription bottle. >> He also told us he's been pulled over in the past by other deputies and his window tent's okay. Is that what he said? Yeah. As he's trying to like >> as he's trying to drag you down the road. Yeah. It's not okay. >> Does this contain anything in it? >> Yeah. [laughter] >> Like there was small bags like little tiny bags in there. >> Okay. I just need you to tell me where you found everything. The rest of the big bags came out of the back back seat. >> Yeah. They all came right behind the center. >> All three of them were >> Were they out in the open or were they in this thingy? >> I think they were sitting on top of that. >> Okay. >> With their evidence in hand now, they broke the bad news to him. They read him as Miranda writes, and he refused to answer any questions, which was well within his rights. With the man refusing to talk, there was only one thing left to do. You're going to be placed under arrest for everything that Well, you don't want to talk, so we're not going to talk about it. So, I'm just going to say you're going to be placing arrest and then your your attorney can get the discovery and all the charges will be read to you. >> Okay. >> You still made the call to let her know that I'm locked up. >> What's her phone? >> So, she won't be stuck. It's in the in the It's up from the white. It's in there. >> I can't go into your phone. I'm not going to go into your phone. >> Either you give it to me or >> I mean I don't know it. >> I'm not going to go into your phone. That's an invasion of privacy. I'm not going to do that to you. >> Well, can I go in front of you right here? Sir, if you didn't try to drive off my deputy, it would be a different story. Okay, >> that's true. But she worked at the Waw Wa where she served your >> I don't we don't go out of county. So, Auxburg is not it. We don't go there. >> I'm just I'm being honest with you. I would make the phone call if you know the number. If you don't know the number, I can't do it for you. >> That's I would have been an attempted effort to look I'll even dial the phone, but if you don't know it, you don't know it. >> It's kind like you work with us. We work with you. You drove off with the deputy hold on to the side of the vehicle. Okay. >> Well, I got told my plan. >> Okay. I appreciate it, man. How do you think I felt? >> Can I call my grandma here? >> Nope. Not. Do you know her phone number? >> Yeah, I know her. >> All right. Your grandma can tell everybody else what happened. >> They charged the man with assault on a law enforcement officer, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later sentenced to two years in prison, and a 6-month suspension of his driver's license. On the 20th of May 2023, an officer responded to a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Allegedly, the erratic driving of a woman made her ex-husband so nervous that he bailed out of the vehicle. [groaning] >> What's going on today, guys? >> Driving a little erratic. I didn't want to be in here. Driving a little erratic. I will try to ride. >> Okay. What's y'all's location? >> We're exes. >> Okay. >> Yeah, bud. >> Whose car is it? >> Mine. It's >> your car. Do you have your ID with you, ma'am? >> I do. >> Can you grab that for me, please? >> Yeah, I sure will. >> That way or that way? >> I'd prefer this way. It' be safer. While the woman was busy getting her ID, the officer engaged in small talk with her ex-husband. The officer could tell the man wanted to tell him something, but he didn't want the woman to hear it. So, he pulled the man aside and talked to him in private. What's going on today? >> So, we went out, have some drinks, and have some food, and she wanted to drive home. I was like, I don't think it's a good idea. Where'd you guys go? >> Saw a lot. Okay. that way. >> You live in Fl. >> Yeah. >> So, she she demanded to drive. [groaning] I sat in the back seat like down here and I I jumped out. I was like, this man, where are your shoes? Where are your shoes? Okay. Where's your license? >> Can you grab it, please? >> I need your license. >> That's fine. Yeah, you just put on the on the roof. >> Just by her movement alone, it was clear she was too intoxicated to be behind the wheel. The man claimed that after he exited the vehicle, she circled back to him a few times, but not before a driver flagged down the officer and let him know what was happening. But did you ask for so and she got into the driver's vehicle I got into the back seat started driving. >> Yeah. Yeah. So that was best I could jump. So >> So she she actually got out >> like at this light back there 16 jump. And then did she come back around and try to pick you up? It >> was. Okay. Because So I was sitting down there and I got a report. Some guy came up to me. He's like, "There's a car. There's a guy walking on the road." And then there's a car. I don't know what this car is trying to do. It's like it sounds like a car. It looks like a car. He's either following him or maybe trying to like car. So that's what drew me to here. And I rolled up and she's literally talking, you know, talking. I mean, I was like just really broke up. >> The man told the officer that aside from the fact that she was drunk, the reason he bailed out was that the woman had a history of injuring herself and then blaming it on him. If that were true, he shouldn't have been anywhere near her. The officer then went to get her side of the story. >> What happened to you? >> Oh, I don't know. That amazing house over there is so pretty. >> Okay. So, can you tell me what happened today? Cuz when I pulled out, >> what had happened today was we saw the house >> and we saw >> Ma'am, just just stay over here with me. >> Well, I want I want to tell you. >> Okay. Well, just tell me tell me tell me from over here. >> I can't tell you from over there. I I am >> Ma'am, I don't want you walking in traffic. Just stand over here. >> I'll be down here. >> No, ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am, right here's fine. >> Right here where you want me to tell you. >> Come over here. >> Tell you, >> ma'am, come over here. I'm telling you, >> come over here. >> I'm going there. I'm getting there. I ain't getting there. That place is so phenomenally beautiful. And I am trying so hard to make that place mine. >> She was beyond drunk, fumbling over her words, and more than once almost falling down. It was clear to see why her ex-husband found it necessary to get out for his own safety. And before too long, the officer here completely lost his cool. >> Let me explain this to you so you understand. >> YOU HAVE NOT ASKED me at one point in time >> to get there. >> You are not free to leave. Ma'am, lean on the bumper. >> You have not asked me to go somewhere. >> Stay back there. Put your hands on your car. >> You have not at one point in time ask me. I am burning my feet. >> I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. I am burning my feet. You are not asking me to do something. >> Come this way. Sit in. >> There's no legal authority. >> No, you cannot legal authority. You do not get to car. >> Hey. Hey. If you're not understanding >> 455, give me traffic. >> You're not understanding. You're being blacked for no reason. HEY, I HAVE someone done this for a living. >> You are being aggressive to the reason. >> All right. I swear. >> While this woman's behavior would be shocking to most people, the man just watched her like he'd seen her act like that hundreds of times. The cop told the ex to get a ride for himself as Christina was going to jail and they were going to tow the woman's vehicle. Shortly after, a female deputy arrived on scene to talk with Christina. >> What's going on today? I'll put this up for you if that's okay. >> I would love to. >> What's going on? >> Not myself out there. Can I stop myself out there? >> Uh, let me see if he has any tissues. Are you going to be cool if I get you out? >> I promise you. >> Okay. All right. Come on out, my dear. So, what happened that you ended up in the back of the deputy's car? >> I don't know. >> Okay. You don't remember or? >> No, I know that I'm with my ex and we're just going home. >> Okay. >> Everything was cool. >> Okay. >> And then all of a sudden it was not cool. >> Oh, what happened? Like what do you mean not cool? >> Like we were coming home and like literally right there that that coming this way and >> from oh from 16A on to 13 >> everything was cool and >> and then all of a sudden I don't know >> she was too drunk to understand what was happening or to give a reliable account of what transpired in her version she and her ex were having a great day together and while heading home completely out of nowhere an officer pulled them over and put her in handcuffs for no reason >> now I'm here doing this. Okay. >> And I don't even understand what's going on. >> Okay. >> I mean, literally, I have >> a whole entire >> I don't even know what's going on right now. Like, >> like I have a whole thing going with my children and we're about to go on vacation and I don't know what's going on right now. >> Okay. So, I'm going to explain to you a little bit about what I do for the sheriff's office. Okay. So, I spent a few years on patrol and now I'm part of our traffic unit. Okay. within that traffic unit. I'm specifically with our DUI unit. Part of my job is to make sure people are safe drivers and that in the event you were to drive away from here right now, whether or not you would be a safe driver. Okay? >> So, I'm going to give you all the info that I have like I have so far. >> I do smell a little bit of alcohol coming. Okay? Your eyes are kind of bloodshot. >> All right? They're they're a little bit watery, which I know sometimes can come from crying. Sometimes it's from other things. So, I kind of want to rule that out and figure out what's going on. Okay? Are you willing to do any standardized field sobriety exercises? >> She refused the field sobriety test probably because she knew it wouldn't go well for her. As she refused to participate based on the woman's behavior, the officer determined she was intoxicated. And that being done, the officer then read the woman her rights. Do >> you have anything in your bra? >> I don't have anything. >> Take everything that you have. But I do have four people that I want as my security and I want them put as a point. But you're not letting me say it. >> Well, you've been arrested for DUI. >> All right. You're not letting me in the back of my cop. >> All right. >> But you're not letting me say those people. >> Okay. Put your button. >> Are you going to let me say those? >> Are you letting me say those people? >> Say whatever you want. I should get in the car. All right. So, those four people is who I want. Okay. So, screw it all the way in. Here, I'll I'll put this camera right here. >> You have put all of this. Yeah. There you go. Now you have a vehicle. But for the first 30 minutes that I was here, you didn't have that. So now, where was the 30th minutes I was here? >> That's on my purse and I wear that. >> Oh, well that's good. But that wasn't here because my first 30 minutes I was in here was not on you. So, I would like all of the first 30 minutes I was put into this vehicle that was not in here with her. I would like all of that into testimony because hey, >> that's a different here. >> I don't live over here and she is bringing me into a section that I don't live in and I am way past that because my house is way back that way. So now it is around who lives where. Christina was arrested and charged with DUI and resisting arrest with violence. She was later sentenced to 12 months probation, 50 hours of community service, and last but not least, she also had to go to DUI school. On the 9th of September 2024 in Middleton, Wisconsin, an officer conducted a traffic stop after seeing a red Jeep Cherokee driving at night with no lights. >> Hello, Officer Dart. Middleton PD. The reason I'm pulling you over is don't have any lights on. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Turn them. This must be a rental car, I bet. >> Yeah. And they told me it was always in auto. >> Oh, yeah. So, they they do that wonderful stuff. You got your ID real quick? >> No. I'm I'm on my way back to the hotel. >> Which hotel? Uh, Fairfield. >> Fairfield. All right. Well, let me just get a name quick. >> Do you have anything with the rental agreement or anything in it? >> Uh, not that I know of. It's just buddies. Uh, just let me ride it. >> Okay. All right. Yeah, cuz they're wonderful. Those plates, they all they all they say is like Enterprise. They don't give us anything about the vehicle. What's your name? >> Andre. >> Andre. >> And I did have a seat belt on. I took it off to get my ID, but I forgot it's in. >> That's fine. No, I just want to make sure that you weren't driving around with no lights on. >> Yeah, I know. I They told He told me that it was supposed to be on all the time. And >> yeah, >> I was with him when he got it from Enterprise and they said, >> "Yeah, >> I see when I saw a fleet vehicle, I'm like, "Yep, it's going to be a rental car." And I'm I'm sure that's they told him that was it happens all the time. >> The driver who introduced himself as Andre said his license was in his hotel room and he was from out of state. However, when they ran the man's name, they didn't get a match, which was a little bit suspicious. Shortly after, another officer arrived on scene and they asked Andre to step out of the vehicle. >> Andre, can you turn off the vehicle for me? >> All right, step on out for me real quick. >> Ask why? >> Cuz I unfortunately I can't get your ID to come back, but I have a machine that will do it for me. >> So, I need you to step on out. >> Why are we going through all this? >> Because I need the positivity of who you are. No, it's not coming back though. >> Okay. I've been working for 25 years and typically starts. >> Let's get your uh >> All right. He's right here. >> Can you step on out for the vehicle for me? My supervisor's right here. He's right here. >> Yeah. Come out. >> He's right here. >> Right here. >> All right. So, why is it that I have to step out of the vehicle? >> Because you have to be positively identified and you're not. >> I don't quite agree with that. So, I think I'm going to just get going here. No. >> Nope. He's got it locked. Got [clears throat] some good pictures of him. We'll send it out. See if he says he's going to Fairfield in >> here. Take this >> over there. >> Yeah. >> 39. He said he's headed to the Fairfield in. >> The cops didn't chase the man, but they did go to the Fairfield in where he said he was staying. The employee there stated they didn't have a guest named Andre, nor had a red Jeep Cherokee been in their parking lot recently. The following day, the cops got a report of a vehicle crash. And while the driver was not on scene, they quickly realized it was Andre's vehicle. Over an hour later, a call came in from a business needing assistance due to a suspicious person. When the officers arrived, Andre was lying in front of an entryway. >> Madison Police Department, can you lay down? Put your arms up to the side. >> Put your arm up to the side. >> I can't put this one out. >> I'm going to I'm going to put you in handcuffs. >> Slowly pull it out. >> I will. I will, but I'm gonna have you go on your stomach for me. Okay. >> Roll over. >> I got I got cuffs. >> All right. What's your name, sir? >> What's your name, sir? >> Oh, you spit them out. >> I know. >> Sir, what's your name? >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> Can you move the other one? It's >> There we go. There we go. >> What's your name, sir? >> Huh? Dante. Your last name. Dante. Without a doubt, it was the man from the night before, but this time he told the cops his name was Dante. Whatever his name was, he was visibly injured from the accident, but the cause of the accident was still unknown. >> You're all scratched up. Are you all right? >> I ran directly into a branch. >> Okay. >> A bridge. >> A branch. >> Oh, a branch. >> Oh, you got like grass hands and everything. >> Can you stand? >> If we help you, can you stand? >> Yeah. Yeah. Go put me away. So, so Dart was the initiating officer. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. From >> right now. >> Oh, okay. That >> Okay. Got >> Do you know what they're for? >> I don't even have those warrants. That's why I ran ass [ __ ] man. Just take me. >> That's why you ran >> the warrants. You ran those warrants, man. Bus. >> You just ran because of the warrants. They going to go away in two years. I ain't even do nothing. >> So that was the reason he gave the cops a fake name and took off the night before. He had outstanding warrants and he didn't want to do jail time. Technically, if he hadn't crashed his car, there was a very real possibility that he wouldn't have been caught. But luckily for the officers, he was a complete and total idiot. Even these guys over here said when I pulled up, they were like he was banging his head against the glass and they said he was tweaking really hard. So, I don't know what the time lapse on that is, but yeah, we might be in the >> the down slope. >> How you doing, man? >> There's a some complaints about uh your left arm. >> Left arm. >> There's a flex on the stop in the middle of night. Crash over here. So, got some complaints from his left arm. >> Been laying on the ground for a little while. >> Got some scratches. said he ran into a tree. >> Paramedics treated the man as they prepared to transport him to the hospital. While he'd done his best to avoid jail once he was medically cleared, that's exactly where this guy was going. Aside from the warrants, after that stunning pulled last night, he'd definitely be doing some additional time. >> Traffic was branch and >> Oh, okay. So, kind of far away. >> Yeah. >> All right. I was thinking it was just over by Great Station. >> So, he is probably just bat out of hell the whole way out of town. That's probably what like >> So he was last seen westbound on University Avenue. So >> yeah, get this other cup off here. But >> you guys have any like concerns with them at all? Like the stretcher? I think you'll be all right with y'all. Something was going with you, right? >> M on the back where you are. >> That's right. >> Uh, you want me to keep on me? >> Dante was arrested and later found guilty of fleeing and eluding an officer. As a result of his crime, he spent 24 days in jail and was sentenced to three years probation. On September 29th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the cops responded to a small airport after reports of a woman driving drunk around the premises. According to reports, she was stopped by air traffic control. They took her keys and the witnesses said she was driving around the tarmac getting in the way of the airplanes. >> Hello. Hey, >> what's going on, Bonnie? >> I'm fine. Just like >> You don't You don't sound fine. >> There's a quite a number of beer cans you got there. >> What's up with that? >> All I want to do is wait to go back to hanger. >> Go back to the hanger. >> Yeah. Where were you coming from? >> Nowhere. >> Nowhere. Just driving around. Just out for a drive. Gotcha. >> At that point, it was still unclear as to why the suspect, Bonnie, was in the hanger in the first place. However, it was highly unlikely that Bonnie was a pilot. More than a little suspicious Bonnie was drunk, the officer asked the woman to do some field sobriety tests. All right. >> Okay. >> Start with you if we run through some tests. >> Yeah. >> I'm sorry. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Let's do that. Why don't you come over here for me, please? Bonnie, over here, please. >> I just >> So, for these tests, first one's going to be an eye test. Okay. Can you put your heels together, toes together, and just relax your arms down? >> I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. I'm not saying you have. I just want to make sure that you're safe and that we can get you home and >> Okay. I just like um like I just >> Are you wanting to run through the tests or No, >> not really. [snorts] >> Okay. We don't we don't have to do them. But one thing I want you to understand is you're you're going to get arrested for DUI without doing the test. I mean, >> so it's it's entirely up to you if you'd like to do the tests or not, but >> I mean, >> I would like to do them, but you're not required to. >> The um I I really don't know why, but >> Okay. Do you want to do the tests or not? >> No. >> No. With Bonnie refusing to do the field sobriety test, she left the officer with no choice but to arrest her and charge her with DUI. The crazy part was that the officer knew her as he was called to the same airport before due to Bonnie's drunken driving. >> Put your hands together behind your back, please. >> Bonnie, this is the second day that we've been called about you drunk driving yourself around this airport. Don't tell me you haven't done anything. pilot's like driving around on the runway. >> Can I speak with or do you want to tell him what's up? >> It's my house. >> Okay. Do you want to speak with him or no? >> What's What's going on? >> This is officially your wife is being arrested for DUI on the runway. >> Okay. When the woman's husband heard the news, he didn't seem surprised at all. After placing her in cuffs, they placed Bonnie in the back of a cruiser. Next up, they searched her vehicle and found several empty beer cans thrown all over the vehicle. Three spits. Eight. Nine. Oh, 14. >> By the time the search wrapped up, he'd found 18 empty beer cans in the seats, plus an entire garbage bag full of empty cans. That was just in her vehicle. who knows how many beers she drank before she hopped in her vehicle. Will you take the state's test? >> Do what? >> What's the question? >> Are you going to submit to the state's breath test? >> I don't know. All I know is that like I just like have to go. >> I got you. Yes or no? It's it's your right to to submit to it. It's also your right to uh deny taking the test. Just as a result, again, your driver's license will be revoked or denied by the Department of Public Safety. >> What would you do if you >> I can't give you any legal advice. This is your decision. >> I just want to go >> here. So, listen, ma'am. uh if you refuse to answer the question, it's going to be taken as a refusal. So, do you want to submit to the state's breath test or or no? >> The cop just needed a simple yes or no, but somehow she just couldn't manage. Finally, she agreed. However, the test wouldn't be done till they were back at the station. After reading her Miranda writes, the officers then began questioning her. >> How much have you had to drink after these gentlemen stopped you? >> Oh, >> so when the when the guys came out here and stopped your car >> and took your keys, >> dead. >> All right. Were you drinking after they stopped you? >> No. >> Okay. So, you didn't have anything to drink once they stopped you, right? >> No. >> Okay. >> How much have did you drink beforehand? I I don't even know what that matters. >> Well, I mean, obviously when you're operating a motor vehicle, I mean, >> like maybe like three beers. >> Okay. Three beers before you got were here in the airport. Okay, >> that's it. >> Judging by the sheer amount of empty beer cans found in her vehicle, I'm guessing the odds she'd only consumed three beers were slim to none. She admitted to having drinks in the car, but said she was parked while doing so, which of course made no difference. >> You don't remember driving around at all? >> No. >> Okay. >> Do you remember the gentleman that were that stopped you while you were on the road here? >> No. I don't even know that guy. >> Well, I know. They don't really know you either other than they saw you driving and the fact too I think >> you know. Well, let me let me explain. The airport controlled tower called us saying you were blocking the runway and driving around on the runway and then we got a call from these gentlemen that stopped you uh a short time later saying they had stopped you with your and you got the keys out of your car. So >> before she was transported to jail, a female officer arrived on scene and searched her. She was then placed in a cruiser and taken down to the station where she was breathalyzed. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. >> Good work. We're going to do that one more time and we're going to be done with this. >> Okay. Um, so for whatever reason, this didn't work the way that it's supposed to. >> Eventually, Bonnie took another breathalyzer test. She blew a.34, which was four times the legal limit. Like we said, so much for those three beers she claims she drank. Afterward, she complained of health concerns, and was transported to a nearby hospital. >> Any questions for us? Well, when the police show up at your house in Plano, Texas, and tell you that you're going to be uh [snorts] put on a bus shipped back to Tulsa, you can probably understand why. Where do you work, or do you have a job? >> All right, Bonnie. Well, here's all your belongings. Feel better. Bonnie was arrested and was later charged with felony aggravated DUI. In an unbelievable series of events, she fought to keep her license from being revoked as she somehow won. The status of her other charge remains unknown. Driving while impaired or recklessly is no laughing matter. Every day across America, on average, 115 people die in vehicle accidents. That's why thousands of officers are dedicated to patrolling the roads, whether it's highways or backcountry byways. So when drivers think they can break the rules of the road, they quickly learn they're not above the law.
