from Officer James cooch arresting a 19-year-old over a parking dispute in Orange City only for the charges to be dismissed to officer Robinson issuing a trespass warning to a First Amendment Auditor came here for this is Officer James cooch from the Orange City Police Department on the 8th of October 20123 officer cooch observed a vehicle belonging to a 19-year-old individual named Bryson early parked outside a grocery store in the fire lane officer cooch began to locate Mr early who was inside the grocery store premises watch how such a simple situation is about to escalate badly I'll make an announcement to have the uh [ __ ] that's in the fire lane uh you can say [ __ ] um over the intercom if you want I give you permission uh to move out of the fire lanane with this big giant truck and boat okay I'll get are you in the truck I'm moving right now okay license and registration and proof of insurance please take my truck okay well someone can get it for me and what's the reason for that though cuz you're parked in a fire that says no parking oh my Lord have mercy yeah well if there was a fire in this liquor store Park uh I don't know out in the parking lot do you see anywhere in this parking lot to park out dude yep absolutely there's plenty out there not when I pulled in a my truck well whose truck is it it's his I just told you that dude ask me were you driving or was he driving oh he was he was driving okay well then so give me your give me your license please sir it doesn't matter if uh it's his truck you were driving you need that yeah yes please do you understand why I'm frustrated right I work here I understand I just dude there's nowhere to park and it's like I feel like there's a million things to look at and you were scouting the parking lot I knew when you were sitting right there you going to get me when I walked in when I then why did you park here cuz there was nowhere else to go when I went and up there are plenty of parking spaces over there registration citing a violation of the city ordinance prohibiting parking in fire lanes for those who don't know the city ordinance states that parking in a fire lane is prohibited and officers can issue a citation or require immediate movement of the vehicle however despite conveying the situation to Mr early he argues with officer cooch regarding the unavailability of parking for the grocery [Applause] officer cooch arrested Mr early for disturbing the piece he informed the vehicle owner that Mr earlyy would receive a citation for window tint violations as Florida law holds the driver accountable rather than the vehicle owner officer cooch explained that the arrest was warranted due to Mr early's disruptive behavior which included shouting and causing a scene in front of bystanders he was given the notice to appear for the disorderly conduct charge and subsequently was released for his recognizance the charges against him were later dismissed if you think this was the only don't have a law for right my ID all right this is Officer Robinson of the Tampa Police Department on May 7th 2024 a First Amendment auditor named Jeff Gray visited the New Tampa community park and recreational center which is a public building a Park employee called the police to report the presence of Mr Gray he was seen holding a sign that said God bless the homeless vets and did not cooperate with the Park employee upon his request to exit watch how the encounter unfolds spread the message God bless oh okay yeah but why here there's no one here uh there's there there's a the staff was coming in earlier there's been people coming well they they call because they don't feel comfortable with you here oh okay so unless you want to get trespassed that's up to you I'd find someone else to go I there's no one even here I'm cool right here man I'm going to stay right here for a while well no they want you gone too bad for them it's not their not their decision it is because this is Tampa property yeah City of Tampa property it's no but they can trespass you for whatever reason want tres me that they can trespass me but I have justos right to be here as anybody first I just did they want me trespass yep what happened if I if you don't if you don't leave then I get them they're going to come out here and officially say you're not allowed here and then I have a chance to leave and then I say okay you need to leave of course I don't know why I have to go through all that but you need to leave and then once you do or don't then I write a trespass warning and then I give it to you and then if you don't I'm not going anywhere unless I'm trespassing okay um me I'll leave do you have your ID on I do it I'm not giving that to you that see that's a problem listen listen because I'm doing investigation not getting my ID buddy buddy buddy you're going to you don't have aw for rights to my ID all right it's a Mis sir it's fine it's okay I don't mind taking you to jail for a misdemeanor it's fine it just seems pointless for everyone's they but I don't have to give you my ID that's okay hi can you come tell him he came back he's trying to make a point or I don't okay you're good all right thank you yes the situation intensified when the officers approached Mr and requested his identification he confidently asserted his rights refusing to provide ID and emphasizing that he was not violating any laws despite this the officers persisted in their demand for identification stating it was necessary for their records or suggesting potential safety or security concerns Mr Gray remained Resolute pointing out that by law he was not obligated to show ID unless he was being legally detained or suspected of committing a crime watch how the interaction concludes guy just wants to go yeah well he just he wants to play a game he has a sign that doesn't ask for money it just spreads the word of God bless homeless vets go uh he sits here he was in his car cool off and uh you know then he sees me comes out I'm not leaving this can't you can't trespass Me O I said well actually this a city property and she came out and said it well I'm not doing anything so then he moved to the sidewalk okay and so now this is his car so I'm going to officially ride him a trash B warning for this property what cuz he refused identification as well oh get now but his far as yeah yes sir all righty sir even trespassed from the immediate area I don't want to really push it because I mean we have to start getting into what's property line what's not property line but this is a community center and that includes all the facilities here um so without making a big deal about it if you want to be here on the road that's fine fine you're not soliciting you Mr Gray was trespassed from the public property after he received an official notice for it he later filed a complaint against M Hall the lady from the park who got her trespassed the trespass warning against him was later dismissed the result of the complaint is unknown as of yet if you think this was the biggest mistake a rookie cop can make then you probably aren't aware of Corporal corporal McAdams from the Tex Arana Arkansas police department on July 13th 2022 officers from the Tarana Police Department stopped an individual named Reginal James who's a veterinary technician while investigating a shooting near his rental property they approached Mr James suspecting he could either be involved in or a witness to the incident observe how the encounter takes an unexpected turn take contact with that guy they're saying that this guy walking down the street right here is the guy that they were shooting at okay I've been seeing him over and he don't live in here by been seeing him cross from back behind us let's have a conversation cuz we're saying the one shot at okay hey man let me talk to you a second go ahead hang on hold on stop walking let me talk to you a second man okay uh what's going on tonight I don't know I Ain got nothing to do with y' stuff hang on hey put hands I'm you inv all right at this point you are not in any trouble no you understand but we're being told by multiple people you were involved in all this that these dudes were shooting at you all right is that the truth I ain't got nothing to say to y y ain't got nothing to say to me at all okay that's all right go ahead and uh get his identification everything we'll go got ID in your pocket sir uh right here yeah okay there's nothing on you that's going to hurt me I don't know you don't know I'm going to pat down for our safety then everybody else's safety so is it going to cause you more trouble cuz they see you getting hammed up is it going to make it look like you're getting to answer the officer's questions leading to his detention and search even though he asserted he had no obligation to speak he was made to sit in the patrol car for several minutes and was eventually arrested despite a statement from witness Ashley Clark confirming that Mr James seemed to be fleeing from the vehicle involved she suggested he was a potential victim rather than a suspect watch how the encounter ends he should have Assist up in his system Michael brownx did a report for shift one night over there cuz he was drunk and stupid with this guy drunk and stupid well all I care about is does he have warns for his arrest and you show to be clear okay warn he's now banned from housing banned him from housing I'm trying to decide if we're going to arrest him or not did he give you his wallet or did we take his wallet after we detained him cuz he walk we detained him mhm we took his wallet he but he He Turned and said there it is but he got it doesn't matter it doesn't matter if if he doesn't want to identify himself he he's trying to walk away when we're have a legal reason to stop that's when you grabbed him man I thought he's fixing a run he he stays in that gray house I'm down doing everything and he jumped off his porch and left him one or another way then he comes right back up through yeah to see what's going on since they're busy I'm going to get you to transport all that well uh this lady here M usually gives good info he's in the back of the car yelling let's get him transported out of here and let's get him banned and get him out of here so we can finish station he was charged with obstruction subsequently he decided to file a civil rights lawsuit against the officers involved and the police department the outcomes of both of these remain unknown if window here this way so I can get your information this is Officer hanning from the Grayson County Sheriff's Office on April 26th 2017 a civil rights activist named Justin Turner was driving around Grayson County Texas when he was pulled over by deputy hanning and Deputy Barker 5 years earlier Mr Turner received a speeding citation which he did not pay the non-payment of the ticket resulted in the issuance of a warrant against him however after learning about the warrant 2 years later he paid the ticket to remove the warrant status watch how the cops are about to manipulate the situation
