So, do you want to tell me about the meth? >> The what? >> The method? >> I didn't even know it was loaded, man. >> Come on, man. I swear to God, bro. >> Bro, you've had the car for months. >> Yeah. >> Why are you lying to me? >> Like I said, I I can get an attorney. There's an issue with this. I >> I don't understand why you are asking for an attorney. Why are you giving me a false name? >> So, you're going to write me up for mushrooms? >> Stop. Okay, now you have some charges. >> For drug dealers, a routine traffic stop can quickly turn into jail time. However, some criminals practically bait the cops to pull them over with simple traffic infractions. And once they're stopped, it's only a matter of time before the cops discover these crazy drug dealers secret stashes. >> What are you hauling? >> Oh, I'm moving. >> Oh, you're moving? >> Yeah. >> There it is. There it is. Right here. >> [groaning] >> On the 24th of January, 2025, an officer made a lucky discovery when he pulled over a U-Haul for driving on the line. The cop also noticed a suspicious passenger van following close behind, but the moment he pulled the truck over, the van sped off. Hey, >> how are you? Do you know the people in the van? Huh? >> Do you know the people in the van? >> Huh? >> Huh? >> No Spanish. >> How do you know the people in the van? >> Huh? >> How did you Can I open the door? >> How do you know the people in the van? >> My van. >> Did you know the people in the van? >> No. >> Oh, okay. Here. I don't want it to blow away. >> Reason I'm stopping you is you were driving over the edge line. I want to make sure you're not texting and driving on your phone or anything. No >> ID with you. >> Where are you headed to? >> Huh? >> Where are you going? >> Where are you going? >> To PA. >> PA? >> Yeah. >> What do you have? >> Wow. >> What are you hauling? >> Oh, I'm moving. >> Oh, you're moving? >> Yeah. >> Did you rent the van? >> Where are you Where are you coming from? >> To Oklahoma. >> Coming from Oklahoma. >> Yeah. >> Okay. What do you have in the back? >> Huh? >> What do you have in the back? What What's in the back? Um, I'm moving over there. >> Furniture. What are you? >> Yeah, furniture. >> The driver claimed he'd run into U-Haul because he was moving from Oklahoma to Pennsylvania. His story was flimsy at best, and based on his body language, he seemed uncomfortable. The cop was already suspicious, so he continued questioning the man. >> Uh, rental agreement. >> What's that? >> I don't I don't >> Who rented this? >> Huh? >> Who rented this? >> No, my friend. >> Your friend. Rental agreement. Oh, the paper. >> Yes, paper. Paper. Sorry. [screaming and groaning] >> Better than doable. >> Is that marijuana? >> Marijuana? Okay. How much marijuana do you have with you? >> No. Okay. I'm not trying to pay for school. >> Okay. >> Do you care if we look in the back? >> Can we look in the back? >> Yeah. >> You want to come back there with me? >> Mhm. >> No guns or anything on you? >> Okay. >> The driver here made a couple of serious mistakes. First off, he left marijuana in plain view. It wasn't a crime, per se, but it did raise suspicion. Secondly, he agreed to a search of his vehicle, even though at that point he didn't have to. Pretty soon, the man started changing his story. >> Although, I don't have a key. >> Where is the key? Hey, come here. Come this way. >> I'm looking for >> Can you get off the phone for me, please? Can you get off the phone and talk to me, please? >> Thank you. >> Um, the key. >> Where is it? How are you going to get into it? >> I I forgot in the house. Okay, come here real quick. >> Listen, no firearms? >> No. >> Okay, put your hands on your head. Spin around. Do you care if I check real quick? Of course. >> Okay. [screaming] Come back here. Come. >> 1812. What's your 39? >> Okay. No guns on you? >> No. Okay. Uh, I'm glad you have a seat in my car. I got to go over all your stuff. Okay, >> we'll go over from there. Okay. >> The officer took the opportunity to ask more questions about the U-Haul. First, the man claimed he was moving. Then, he claimed he was helping a friend. At that point, there were multiple red flags and the cop had a hunch that something was fishy. >> I thought you said you're moving. >> You're moving. >> You're moving or he's moving? Who put the stuff in the back of the U-Haul? >> My friend, >> you're coming from Oklahoma. Where are you going? >> New York. >> I thought you said PA. >> I say PA. That's not PA. I go to New York. >> New York City. >> Okay. Have you ever been in trouble before? Why isn't your license valid? >> My license. >> It says status is revoked. >> When? >> I don't know when. I'm just asking you. This is all. >> Huh? >> Huh? >> This this month. >> This month? Did you not pay a ticket or something? That's not good. How do you know the people that were in the van? >> My people. >> The the van that was behind you. How do you know them? >> I don't know. >> You don't know them? Oh, okay. It might seem strange that the cop was so focused on the passenger van, but it's a known cartel tactic to have several people following the vehicle transporting their drugs. All the clues here pointed to drug trafficking, so it's no wonder the officer asked for a canine unit. >> How did you Who put the lock on there? >> Who put the lock? I ran off the key. >> How are you going to open your stuff to get your stuff when you move? >> Oh, okay. Come on. Fight. It was clear from the dog's actions that there were drugs in the truck. So, the cops now had probable calls to search it. At that point, the suspect here could no longer refuse a search. The question now was, how would they get the U-Haul's back door open? They did have a pair of bolt cutters, but would they work? >> That thing is >> No, no, no. The the bolt thing is stuck. >> Yeah. See, use one side like that. >> Get it. >> Barely even cut. We're going to open it. So, do you have the key? >> I don't have the key. >> What's in there? What's in there? >> Huh? What's in the back of this? >> I told you I'm with my friend over there. >> So, what's in there? >> What's in it? What is in there? I don't know. You don't know? Okay. >> [groaning] >> I don't think it's doing anything. >> I think I made it worse. >> After working on it a while, the cops finally managed to break the lock. Inside the truck, there was nothing out of the ordinary at first glance. It was just furniture and boxes like you'd expect from someone moving. But then the cops looked a little bit closer. Now you got to get out. There you go. >> There it is. There it is. >> That's going to be a lot. 63 Cambridge have a 691 season. >> [groaning] >> Can you start a record for this U-Haul? >> We'll just have it towed back to the post. >> Next driver >> or just next available driver >> this 1048 here the post or no? >> I don't know. >> Well, the same if there's anybody there that could drive back. The cops proceeded to cut the boxes open and the drugs just kept on coming. Over 700 lb of marijuana had been stashed in that vehicle. The driver was charged with felony trafficking as well as possession. Miraculously, just 4 days later, they released the man on bail for 150,000 and he's been on the run ever since. On July 29th, 2023 in Louisiana, a trooper pulled over a vehicle for a tinted window violation. At first, it was just a simple traffic stop that should have ended with a ticket. However, while the driver seemed cooperative, there was more to the man than met the eye drop. >> How's it going, my man? >> All right. Over here, we got a trap. You have your license on you? >> Yeah. Playation insurance. Get out the car. >> Get out the car, please. >> Any weapons? >> Any weapons on you? >> I can search for what you got to pay for that. >> Oh, you don't have the wood. That's fine, man. That's I can pull it up on the >> There you go. >> So, if I didn't explain to you, man, the reason why I stopped you window >> one. I don't know where she got it late, man. >> All right. Where you from, man? >> Um, New Orleans. >> Oh, that's cool. >> The driver was identified as 46-year-old Kevin Tyler. He was cooperative and even answered the officer's questions with a yes, sir, and no, sir. The cop responded with respect and kindness, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. brings you out here, man. I came out here to go to the casino thing. I was dropping somebody off, but I'm going right here to the restaurant. I always at this Regardless of what it does say, it's still the same way. You know what I'm saying? Like I see 10. I go right to the casino. I dropped my mind. >> Yeah. Where you at before then? >> Came from home. >> Yeah, I came back from Kevin. >> Okay. >> All right. Good deal. >> All right. You say you don't have any problem with me searching. All right. Look, this is the search for right here. I want you to read. >> After checking Kevin's license, the trooper found out he was part of a larger federal investigation which included surveillance using hidden cameras. The cops were trying to dismantle a crime ring that was based in Lafush Parish, Louisiana. Kevin played things innocent and even consented to letting the officer search his vehicle. >> Look, anything less. Oh, it's hot. Go ahead. While Kevin was extremely polite and cooperative, like we said, the camera captured the man looking extremely uncomfortable as his car was being searched. He glanced over occasionally as if expecting something to happen, and pretty soon it did. like that. I'll find out what's in the bag. You still remain silent. Any statement you make may be used against the court of law. The rights of attorney that have attorney present during any question to and the board attorney will be a part of the representation for any question. You have the right to terminate any time right. >> The officer asked the man about the bags that were hidden under his hood. Kevin just pretended that he didn't know what was in them, which was hard to believe because it was his personal vehicle. >> Tell you what the casino actually talk to me about. >> How much cash you got on $1,000? reason. >> After Kevin was secured, they then took a more detailed look at the bags under the hood. Based on where they were placed and the way they were tightly wrapped, it was pretty clear to the cops that they were supposed to be concealing something. The question now was, what was it? 12 piece. In total, the officer seized 12 bricks of narcotics and Kevin was booked in Lafush Parish Jail. The entire hall of drugs was measured and tested by the DEA and it was 11.7 kg of cocaine. Kevin got a felony charge of possession with intent to distribute. Later on in court, he plead guilty. We rarely picture parents as drug traffickers, but it turns out sometimes they are, and sometimes they do it with their kids in tow. On December 7th, 2024, a motel manager reported a family allegedly smoking something illegal with their infant baby inside the room. >> D. I got to come in the room for a minute. >> We've had complaint smoking. >> Yeah. Where's >> I smoke? I have here. >> That's >> laying right here. >> All right. I need everybody inside this room to produce identification. >> It's laying right there. >> Does anybody have any firearms inside of here? >> No. >> What's your first name? >> Jenna. >> Jenna. J E N. >> All right. Hold on just a second. Let me run all your guys' information here. Okay. Who's in the truck? >> Is it your >> Who's in it, >> guys? My daughter's friend. Yeah, I'm about to go to work. Let me have your light so I can stay inside. >> That's what's insane. >> Yeah, that's what they called us for. >> I didn't think he was even noisy, you know. >> I was pretty loud. >> Yeah, he was carrying on with the baby and whatnot. >> That statement alone was evidence enough that this was no ordinary family. It sounded like it wasn't the first time the cops had been called on them. There were three males, two females, a baby, and people waiting outside in the truck. Something was clearly going on here. But what? >> Where you work at? >> KFC. >> Yeah, I'm dropping him off so my dad watch. >> Thanks, sir. >> Everyone has to stay here. You're all detained >> for what? >> For a not me. >> Yeah, you have you're in possession of controlled substance schedule one. >> Okay. I Yeah, I get that. >> So, I don't intend on arresting anybody ever, >> right? >> Let me just say that. >> I don't >> Right. I get it. >> Yeah. >> That's all it is. I know. >> West Virginia. >> Yeah. Not yet. Unless you get a medical card. >> And literally I didn't $150. >> They'll approve me for the medical card. I I have >> They just approve me for my disability cuz I have cancer. >> Have a bad heart. I just need to go pay the $150 and get card. That's all I got to do. According to West Virginia State Code, if you can prove financial hardship, the fees waved. >> For you told me some knowledge I didn't even know. >> The cop was very forthcoming, but he also suspected that Jenna, who was rushing to leave, had a warrant out for her arrest. So, after confirming that with dispatch, he decided they should definitely search the room and look for more dangerous illegal substances. >> So, listen, this can work two ways here, okay? Way number one, you guys give us consent to search the room uh and all the items inside. Way number two, everybody goes in handcuffs. You all get transported. I secure the room and I get a search warrant. >> Got warrants for you. >> You got two, >> huh? White hole. >> You got two. >> I would prefer not to have to put you guys all in handcuffs and do that. >> Um, as long as there's no >> I'm not going to charge you. >> Okay. Are you >> Are you fine with that? straight out. >> Look, >> one of them is through Whiteall. I heard that. >> Yeah. One's through Whiteall and one's through the state. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. The other one's through the state. Um, so you just want to give us consent? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Does anybody have anything else inside this room that I need to be aware of before we conduct search? >> Sir. [snorts] Okay. The silence said it all. They all knew what was there, but nobody wanted to be the one to say it. So they just bowed their heads down and waited for the inevitable. The officer then started patting the suspects down one by one. >> All right. You got anything else on your part? >> I'm everything I'm getting. I'm putting right there. >> I'll leave it 135. >> Just heads up. I puked in the trash can that bag over there. >> There you go. >> If we have to step outside, can I put him in the truck? >> You absolutely can. >> If you guys all want to sit in the truck, I don't care. That way you're not Okay. >> Well, I'm gonna at least put him in the truck. Are you on parole right now? >> Yeah. >> In Virginia on probation. >> Okay. >> For fines. >> For fines. You can go outside if you want to. You just can't leave. Okay. >> That's a diaper bag of stuff I just brought in to me. >> Literally. >> Just brought it in. >> I just told him there's a bag over there. It's got dog poop in it and a trash can. I'll puke in. So >> chronic thing or >> Well, I have a bunch of stomach issues, but I have a bad heart. and probably don't know if you're car. >> The officers didn't even get to search the suspect's belongings when one of them noticed a bag of meth on the floor. As a result, this situation just got a lot more serious. And even though the man mentioned puke and dog poop, the cops will eventually have to look in the trash can as well. >> I'll get that. Okay, >> I'll put your hands behind your back. Let me bring you back here. Okay, you can >> Well, sorry about that. >> You're good. >> You got >> Yeah. I'm going to have you take a seat here against the wall here. You're all under arrest. >> I'm ready for that violence. >> Arrested, too. >> All of you. >> Is it nice? >> That's nice. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. What is going on? >> Yeah. You're all you're all detained. Ain't nobody leaving. >> I just need to mine and you all >> Oh, no, partner. You're all going >> and my daughter doesn't My daughter doesn't know what I do. She knows I get high. She don't know. >> But you ain't just getting high with that. >> I just bought two ounces. I just got $5,000 cash. I can tell you I dropped the money out. >> So where's the rest of it? >> That's what I I bought it two days ago and I've been getting high. >> You didn't smoke an ounce in a day, dude. >> The suspect who mentioned the supposed cancer and heart issues quickly confessed that the belonged to him and tried to get his daughter off the hook. He also claimed he was an occasional meth user, but the officer didn't believe him. >> You got four bags here, dude. One, two, three, four package ready for sale. So that's disgusting. I know he does have like he's like terminal cancer. So say he's been throwing up like crazy, too. >> Y'all adventure say all this was laying right here. So, we haven't searched at all. >> I see a container in there. Looks like >> I would say it's the girl that Gina arrested because he lit her go to the bathroom. >> Yeah, there's container right in there. >> Yeah, I'd say she dumped it. This room's disgusting. It stinks in here. >> It does. Hey, he told me I've been thrown up in the trash can. Watch out. Look at all that. Yep. >> Oh, what a price. Oh man. Huh? >> The trash can turned out to be a treasure trove of evidence. From a box full of ziplockc bags like the ones full of meth they found on the bed to meth residue on the trash bag. The cops were starting to get a picture of what was going on. >> Try and collect as much as we can. Let me go grab an evidence bag. So he's up here selling to those people is what he was doing. We just walked in on it. >> Yeah. >> There's a decent little bit of that was in the bottom of that thing, huh? >> Mhm. Plus, there's some in that lid. Papa is going to be happy with this one. Look at that. That's what we got out of that trash bag. >> Yeah, >> that's funny. He said he bought it like this. These are all the baggies that match that. >> Yeah. Liar. This is going to be a good one here, I think. Just watch out for needles. And there's two little rubber things in here. >> What a surprise, right? Who would have guessed? Oh, there we go. You ever seen that? >> No. >> The holy grail. >> [laughter] >> It's like a decorative piece. >> It kind of looks like it, don't it? Broken pipe. I'm a proud redneck head. >> All jokes aside, the cops then noticed something that was very disturbing. All the drugs were laid out haphazardly right next to the baby bottles. They immediately notified a colleague from child services. >> So, these bottles were here. >> Okay. >> These bags that contained all these parapella were right beside the bottles. >> Okay, hold on one second. I'm just going to FaceTime the on. >> This stuff was inside of these bags, but the bags were right here and the bottles were right here. >> Just saying. I've raised two kids. >> I formula never looked like that. >> What is that? >> That's not the bag that was right next to the bottle had it. >> Not to mention all that. >> Oh, and all this here. The baby was in this room. >> Baby was right there in that chair. >> Yeah. Feel like we've got felony. >> There you go again. Just did that to me the other day. What? Didn't charge it or didn't? >> No, you did charge it. >> Okay, I'm charging. >> And then I couldn't figure out how to get into the station. I forgot dumb for like two seconds. >> That's why you had a new person watching it. She's like, "Do you not ever come here?" I was like, "How do I come here? I don't know what's happening." >> We just don't go to Whiteall often. >> I'm going to go ask her what's in this. >> Yeah, go for it. Surprise. Pipe. >> It clearly wasn't a safe environment for any child, much less an infant. The woman was clearly appalled by what she saw and decided to confront the mother, Deborah Keane. However, the cops got a closer look at the bottle and they realized things were even worse than they thought. >> Deborah King >> in here with her arrest me too punch face. >> What' you say it was? >> She say I don't know you don't know. >> I love it how feisty you get. >> Oh, no. You guys did it. You guys did it. We dumped everything out. >> We did that >> apparently. >> We mixed it up and everything. >> I guess so. It's magic. >> Hankle, were you thirsty? Yeah, I was getting a little hungry. I haven't had lunch yet. >> On the side of it. >> No, there's not. >> Yes, there is. That's what that is. >> I promise you. >> Let me go get my phone. I'm take a picture of that mold baby bottle. Nasty mother. >> In a case like this one, we all want to see justice for the child. They charged the woman with conspiracy to commit a drug offense, child neglect, possession with intent to deliver, and conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance. You'd be surprised at how many criminals use overly tinted windows. It's almost like they're trying to get pulled over. And on July 13th, 2025, an officer pulled a vehicle over and that was the reason why. >> Good morning, Wo County Sheriff's Office. Couple reasons for the stop today. Okay. First is going to be, do you have full tinting on your front windshield? Yes, sir. >> Okay. Do you have a prescription for that? Yes. >> Okay. So, the front tinting on the windshield is illegal in the state of Arizona. You can only have it across the visor across the top. Second is going to be your front windows. We know why me look way too dark. If you want to just roll it up a little bit, I can do a uh tent meter and we'll see exactly where it's at. It needs to be 33%. Okay. >> Yeah, that'll be fine. >> Right there is good. You're at 11%. Okay. So, it's illegal in this state. It's also illegal. I see you're from New Mexico. New Mexico is 20% your legal heir to. Okay. The third thing is going to be the covering on your license plate. Can't have it. It's tinted. Can't be obstructing the license plate whatsoever. Okay. Not going to give you a ticket. It's going to be a warning. You got your driver's license registry. Prove insurance. >> Instead of going for a mildly tinted window, the car owner took it to a whole new level. You could argue it made his car look better, but it also looked pretty sketchy. The officer quickly realized the registration expired in July, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. >> Um, I'm going to be checking the VIN number. Okay. Just make sure it matches the paperwork I got. Um, so there's one on the front window, one on the driver door. Okay. So, I'm going just be checking those. All right. [snorts] >> You're just checking to make sure they match or >> Yeah, exactly. So, we got a lot of swab bins and stuff out here. >> I just got to make sure they match. >> All right. Hang tight for me, right? I'm sorry. What was your name though? >> My name is >> Okay. All right. VIN numbers match. Like in Arizona, we get a lot of swap bins and stuff like that. So, I just got to make sure they match. >> Are they still up there? >> You can come over here. Oh, yeah. For sure. So, Mr. Martinez, I do have some additional questions for you. Okay. In addition to traffic control, another thing that I do out here is criminal interdiction. It's the stoppage of illegal crimes going down the roadways. I'm going to ask you some questions. Don't take them personal. I ask most everyone I come in contact with these questions. Okay. Uh, do you have any large sums of cash in excess of $10,000 in the vehicle? Do you have anything for the manufacturer of fake IDs, credit cards, anything like that? Yes, sir. >> Do you have anything as far as um weapons, pistols, rifles, arms, ammunition, anything like that? >> Okay. Um do you have any drugs in the vehicle? >> Cocaine? >> No. >> Methamphetamine? Heroin? >> No. >> Fent? >> No. >> Okay. >> Before asking about marijuana, the officer explained it was legal in Arizona as well as New Mexico. The cop's goal here was to lower the suspect's guard. While having marijuana wasn't illegal in itself, it could lead to a reasonable suspicion that there might be other drugs as well. >> You can have up to an ounce of marijuana legally. Is there any marijuana in the vehicle? >> There is, but >> just a little bit. >> A couple of grams. >> Okay, no worries. I'm not worried about that, man. So, having said that, you said there's nothing in the vehicle. Would you give me your voluntary consent to search the vehicle? >> Yeah, we're not. >> Okay. >> So, just to confirm, do I have your voluntary consent to search the vehicle? >> Uh, you know what? Let me ask her. >> Well, I'll ask her, too. >> She knows more about this. I'll ask her. So, I'm asking you at this point because you're the driver. I'll I'll ask her the same questions I asked you. >> What about it's it's a yes or no question. It's up to you. >> Say no. >> Well, it's I'm not going to get into hypotheticals. It's just a yes or no question. >> I don't know. I don't know what to say. >> Is there something in there? >> No. No. No. No. No. No. No. >> Well, yeah. Like I said, it's yes or no, man. You can say yes or you can say >> I got a bottle of uh we've got in the back is halfway. >> Okay. Is that it in the trunk? >> In the trunk. That's fine, man. Open containers as long as they're not in the passenger compartment are fine. I'm not worried about that. >> After giving it some thought, the driver decided to not consent to a search, which was another huge red flag. And the moment the officer explained to the driver that he'd be bringing out a canine, the man got visibly nervous. >> Cuz can you could you stop this? You got to do that? I mean, it's a regular routine for you guys to do that. >> So, like I said, I'm part of the criminal interdiction unit. So, one of my functions on the interstate is uh the interdiction of criminal activity. Hey, Christina, I do have some additional questions for you. Okay. So, in addition to traffic control, another thing I do is criminal inter crimes going down the roadways. Okay. Having said that, I do have some questions. Don't take them personal. Um, do you have anything as far as like large sums of cash in the vehicle and access $10,000? Any of that? Anything for the manufacturer of fake IDs, credit cards, anything as far as weapons like pistols, rifles. Uh, do you have any illegal drugs in the vehicle? Okay. Cocaine? >> No. >> Methamphetamine? >> Heroin? >> No. >> No. >> Okay. So, the state of Arizona to announce some marijuana legally. Do you have any marijuana in the vehicle? Okay. Um, having said that, he did refuse consent to search a vehicle, which is totally fine. Um, but at this point, I'm going to have you exit the vehicle. Okay. I'm waiting for >> Can you ask what the purpose of this is all about? >> Yeah. I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle because I'm going to be running my dog around the vehicle. >> Okay. That's I'm about to call it, but this is ridiculous. >> The couple was clearly anxious about the K-9. The cop used the fact that there were two open containers in the car to put them both in handcuffs. It's only a misdemeanor in Arizona, but it allowed the officer to conduct the search safely. >> So, what's going to happen at this point? Because you guys do have an open container, uh, I'm going to be doing a probable cause search of the vehicle just to ensure there's no additional open containers in the vehicle. Okay. 431 beginning PC search of vehicle. It's drugs. >> So, she's got these pills and a white crystalline substance. I can't tell if that's the pills crushed up or if it's [ __ ] it's meth. I mean, you see a shard right there. >> Yeah, >> it's going to be meth. >> In addition to finding methamphetamine, the officer also noticed that the woman, Christine, had a whole lot of debit and EBT cards with different names on them. That being said, the cop was about to uncover the mother load after seeing the back door panel was a bit loose. The officer then used a trick that let him take a sneak peek inside. The uh Oh, >> it's loaded. Back door's loaded. Meth. The back panels. >> Yes. >> Loose. >> 431. Can you know I'm going to have two 1015 for transportation of dangerous drugs? >> So you can see right here. >> Yeah. >> It's freaking like you can just pop the whole thing. Just barely eat it all there. Let me see. They just barely suck it back off. Bro, that's fully loaded. As one of the cops proceeded to get the meth out of the car, the other tried to get more info out of the suspects. Not surprisingly, the man played dumb. The only thing he confessed to was that he used to be in a gang. >> All right, man. So, you want to tell me what's up? With all the meth in your car. >> I'm sorry. >> With all the meth in your car. >> I told you this is what I do for a living, bro. It was criminal interdiction. Okay. So, I found all the meth hidden in your car, or at least some of it so far. We're going to be tearing the whole car apart at this point. So, you want to tell me how much you're getting paid to drive it? >> I didn't even know it, man. >> Come on, man. I I was turning up, bro. >> Bro, you've had the car for months. >> Yeah. So, >> but I I didn't I didn't know it was loaded. >> Okay. So, the thing is, man, like I said, all I do all day long is criminal interdiction. Okay. >> So, >> when you tell me you didn't know? >> Well, I I didn't know that. >> It's your car, bro. >> I know. It's my car. Yeah. >> Okay. So, I see you have tattoos, bro. Are you clicked up? >> No. >> Were you clicked up when you were younger? >> Yeah, when I was younger. Yeah. Who are you with? >> The Serenos. >> Serenos. >> Serenos, meaning southerners, is an umbrella term for several loosely affiliated gangs that are from Southern California. The arch rivals of the Serenos are Mexican gangs from Northern California, aptly referred to as the Northerners. The suspect continued denying knowing anything about the drugs. >> How long it took you from Albuquerque to LA? >> About 16 hours. >> 16 hours. So, you drove 16 hours, stayed for less than a day, and now you're driving 16 hours back. Yeah. >> So, you're seem you seem like a reasonable person, man. >> Yeah. >> Would you find that suspicious? >> Someone drives 16 hours, stays for less than 16 hours, and then drive 16 hours back. >> That would be suspicious to you, right? >> If you got to go check up on your mom, man, the way my mom is since my dad passed away on the co. >> Okay. >> You know, she's >> But I'm I'm asking you a question, bro. Would you find that suspicious? >> It's not my job, you know. >> So, do you want to tell me about the meth? >> The what? The methamphetamine. >> It was in my birth pills. >> Yeah. >> Yes. I found that in my kids's bag and I put it in my purse and I had it in there ever since. I forgot to take it out. >> Okay. >> But that's what that that's where that's from. >> Okay. But you knew it was in there. >> I knew it was there. It just I forgot that it was in there. >> Okay. >> But yes, I had got it cuz I found it on my kid in the backpack from school and I stuck in my purse. >> Gotcha. So, um, what about the large quantity method in front of me in the car? >> The what? >> What about the big bags of meth that we found in the car? What? Big pants. >> If she knew about the drugs, Christine was doing her best to stay composed. When the officer showed her what they found in the car, she initially had a genuine look of surprise. >> So, do you want to tell me where you guys went when you were in LA? >> We went to his mom's house. [snorts] >> Okay. >> We're at his mom's. >> So, were you with him the entire time he was in Los Angeles? >> No. Like, I was there at this at his mom's and then we went to the store like a few times, but that was it. How long has you gone to the store? >> No more than 30 minutes. >> Okay. Um, so just so you're aware that you are going to be charged with transportation of dangerous drugs. >> Wait, what? >> You're in the vehicle? The vehicle was in there, though. Like that. >> Okay. Well, >> the what? The little bag that was in my car. Yes, cuz I got that off my kid. Like, >> in total, the cops found 15 lbs of meth, which was enough to book them both. They charged the couple with transportation of dangerous drugs with intent to sell and destruction of evidence. Once in jail, the cops discovered Christine tried to smuggle meth inside and she got an additional charge of promoting prison contraband. On November 29th, 2023 in Idaho, state troopers saw a car performing an improper lane change on I86. They wanted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver exited the highway. The troopers finally managed to catch up with the couple in the city of Chabuk. And while he tried to evade them again, they finally stopped the man near exit 73. >> He's not under arrest. He is detained, but I'll let him leave that phone and stuff just put that back on. You want to put it back out? >> You can just unbuckle that. >> Unbuckle it. >> Yeah. That way it's out of your way. >> Okay. I'm going to set the door. Is it warm enough in here for you or is it too hot? >> Uh, it's fine. >> It's good. Okay. I'll be right back. Okay. I got the heat going, but let me know if it gets too stinking hot in there with all this extra gear on. I get cold, so I run the AC. >> Yeah, it gets it gets uh pretty cold out here. So, I I see it's fine right now, though. >> Okay. Just let me know. Okay. Yeah, just let me know, man. I mean, >> like I said, I standing out, I get cold in the car, I get hot, so it goes up and down. I don't mind changing the tent. >> The suspect, later identified as Joseé Ignatio Silva, ended up being calm and cooperative. So, the officer responded with the same courtesy. However, he also wanted to get more information from the man, like what was in the safe they found under one of his car seats. >> Hey, do you know where the key to the safe is? >> Huh? >> The key to the safe? >> I don't have it. >> He's telling me he doesn't have a key. You guys are sure you don't have a key? >> Okay. But uh >> you think she might know where >> maybe where it's at or >> Yeah, because if not, he's gonna end up breaking the lock open. Depending on what he's got, I'm I'm just here helping him. >> So, I I don't know what all he's got, but >> if it saves you guys the safe, I'd rather do that. You know what I mean? >> Jose claimed that he lost the keys to the safe about 3 weeks ago. He pretended not to be worried about the cops searching his car, but it didn't take too long for them to find some drug paraphernalia, and they put the man in handcuffs. >> Turn the car from 124. >> Okay. So, is it okay to get a number on my phone? >> Yeah, I'll get it before we leave here. Um, may I have a cigarette before I please? I've been I've been cool, man. Not not a run or anything, obviously. >> As long as he's okay with it. Um, the deal is though is you got to be out of the car for that. >> Yeah, that's fine. I mean, I I'll still stand with the cuffs. >> Okay. All right. Um, let me go grab it for you. Okay. Watching you, bud. >> Before they booked the man, he politely asked for a cigarette, and the officer obliged. It looked like they might be there for a while because whatever they tried, they just couldn't get the safe open. >> How do we break out of this one? >> He's been chill, so I'll let him smoke. >> All right, buddy. Now, I don't smoke, so I'm a rookie at this, right? There you go. Thank you. >> So, you won your money in jackpot, right? >> Okay. A >> little bit of I have >> Yeah. >> Yeah. I lost a lot more. >> Which one you Which casino? >> Uh, Jack Cactus Peaks. Cactus Peaks. >> Okay. >> So, I know the sergeant that runs that over there. Yeah. >> Uh, Jackpot. The drug spot. Oh. Looks like to me, but maybe it could be. I don't know. And that looks like >> Before even opening the safe, the cops found drug paraphernalia, 6 1/2 g of marijuana, a 9mm handgun, and a 380 pistol. However, the safe had a much more significant stash, including 42.8 and 8 g of cocaine, 38 g of heroin, 426 pills, and a digital scale. Jose and his girlfriend Kira were placed under arrest. >> Okay, Kier, we're going to put you in in the back of this car. Okay. With another gentleman. Okay. >> Hey, Kier, come here real quick. >> Okay. I am going to search you. Is there anything on you? >> No. And there's nothing underneath your breast or in you, right? >> Okay. When I search you, when I get towards your sensitive areas, I'm going to use the back of my hand. Do you understand that? >> Okay. There's nothing up under here, right? >> What's going to happen? >> What's that? >> What's going to happen? >> Well, as soon as we get done with this, I'm going to transport you guys to the jail. Okay. >> I'm going to put this back on your head. Okay. Maybe. >> Sorry, Kira. Trying to keep your ears warm. >> I don't really get right out. >> Okay, turn around for me. Face the camera. Nothing in your shoes, right? >> As if Kira wasn't scared enough already, the officer warned the woman that if she concealed anything, she'd get another felony charge. During the search, she explained to the cops that the safe belonged to a friend of hers who had borrowed the car previously. >> Nothing in your waistband, right? >> Nope. >> Okay. This is what I was talking about. The back of my hand. >> Okay. I don't I know it's uncomfortable and I apologize for this, but my life and other people's lives are at risk and I don't I don't toy with that. Okay, turn around and see it. I got the top of your head. Okay, easy. >> Okay. And you needed a phone number, right? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Uh >> did you already tell him who it was? >> No, I need a few numbers if that's okay. >> Okay. Watch your knees. They both stayed cooperative even though their lives were unraveling before their eyes. As opposed to Kira's weeping, Jose didn't seem bothered at all. He was acting like it was just another Tuesday. >> Okay. I brought this to you. I We don't know how to You walk You have to walk me through it. >> All right. >> How do you turn it on? It's >> the That one right there. >> This one? Yeah. It's not shut off, is it? >> Oh, no. Uh oh, yours battery is at zero. >> Where's the other phone? Which one is that? >> That's the my gaming phone. >> Um the This one's your gaming phone. >> That's my phone. Uh there's the phone right there. It should be on the magnet on the dash. >> Okay. I'll go see if I can find that one. Okay. >> It has a sticker in the back. It's like a white and black sticker in the back. >> Okay. After the search was finished, they were both taken to jail and booked. They both got felony charges for drug trafficking, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a firearm. On the 17th of April, 2024 in Ohio, two cops patrolling a neighborhood noticed a car with a faulty headlight. The car was also driving erratically, so they decided to pull it over. As soon as they started talking to the driver, they realized something was very wrong. >> Hi there, Officer Weaver City Ice Police Department. You got your driver's license proof insurance on you? >> Um, I can't find my lawn. >> You don't have your driver's license on you right now? >> No, like you got my license. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Ethan. >> Ethan, where you coming from today? >> Um, I'm coming from Cincinnati. >> Coming from? >> I'm heading back to Cincinnati. I'm trying to find my way out of town. >> Like I asked, where are you coming from? Cincinnati. >> Okay. >> Coming from Cincinnati, going back to Cincinnati. >> So, you visit a college friend. >> Okay. >> Friend from middle school, but who's in college? >> Okay. So, you were at the friend's house. >> I was. >> Okay. So, the correct answer would be I'm coming from a friend's house. >> Okay. But I'm Yeah, that's relevant. >> Where's your friend's house at? >> Why is it? >> Because I'm just I'm just trying to figure out where you're coming from. a friend in Oxford. >> Yeah, >> somewhere here in town. I don't know where I'm at. I'm trying to leave the town. >> I've drove like two laps around this town trying to leave it. >> The suspect then said his phone was dead, but when he showed it to Officer Weaver, it was turned on. Was it an honest mistake? Possibly, but the man's very slurred speech, his very slow movements, and not knowing his friend's address, despite the fact that he was already there, pointed to severe intoxication. My friend's house was somewhere on like some uh I don't even remember the road, >> but somewhere here in town. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Was it like >> No, I dropped off a strawberry plant and a couple cacti to my friend. >> Okay. >> I got you. >> While you at your friend's house, did you have anything to drink or anything like that? >> No. >> Have you had anything to drink tonight at all? >> Um, not since like way earlier in the day. >> Okay. What was it? >> I drank a twist of tea this morning. Is it the twisted tea that's over there on your floorboard? >> Probably not. That might have been from a day or two. >> Okay. >> I apologize. >> You're Hey, you're okay, buddy. I mean, I'm I'm not >> Yeah. No, I dr twisted tea this morning. >> Okay. I'm not too overly over overly concerned about an open container in the vehicle. >> Well, I apologize. That's I see it. >> Yeah. So, the >> I'll tell you what, let me let me run your social work. >> Dude, the paperwork, man. Can you look it up? I know you can look up and see what the registration on the vehicle is. It's mine. >> Ethan was too lazy to even look at his papers, so he asked the officer to check them himself. To be fair, he apologized for not having them and said that he'd lost them a while ago. It was just a matter of time before the officer asked for a DUI test. >> Look up the registration on the vehicle. It'll come back to my name. >> Is it Is it valid up to date? >> Yes, sir. Okay. That's what I'm saying. >> I got you, bud. I really don't want to cause problems and I'm sorry if my driving was erratic or whatever it was that you pulled me over. >> I won't argue with any ticket you have to ride. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Well, here here's the reason for the stop. You got a headlight out for one. >> Yes. And this just happened. I >> I know you said you're not from here, but High Street is the street you just turned off of. >> Um you're kind of like all in your lane. >> I'm sorry, dude. I'm just bouncing. >> My phone has turned on, man. It just turned on. >> Yeah. Um >> Yeah. I just want to get out of here. Okay, I got you. So, but you're saying you had a twisted tea earlier today? >> That was like at noon. >> Okay. Would Would you um be okay with me testing your eyes? Make sure you're okay to drive, >> sir. You want to test my eyes? >> Yeah, we'll do it on the sidewalk, though. That way, you're not That's normally where we do it. >> Yeah, no problem. >> If you want, you can turn the car off real quick. >> After Ethan explained that he wore contacts, the cop then administered the eye test. However, it was hard to tell if his eyes were twitching or not. As for the walk and turn test, it clearly showed that he was in no shape to drive. >> You may begin. >> You're okay. You >> lead foot was supposed to go forward. I feel like I You're Hey, you're good. Do you feel like you've completed the test? >> Yeah. Okay. Well, you said lead foot forward, though. >> Yeah. You're fine. My problem foot ended up forward. >> I I just I didn't know if you if you were done. >> No, I'm done. Yeah. >> Okay. I just wanted to make sure of that. Okay. I I didn't want you to have any cookies or anything like that. The [snorts] last test is called the one leg stand. You may begin. >> One2. During the one leg stand test, the man was so unsteady that a second officer had to stand behind him just in case he fell. And rightfully so, because pretty soon he started hopping on one foot, desperately trying to keep his balance. >> Sorry. >> Okay, you're okay. >> You're okay. You can stop. You can stop. >> Okay, Ethan, obviously you've had more than just one twisted here. >> Okay. Are you thinking that >> there was a Budweiser cannon sitting in the back seat of >> Well, there was, but I my can my car might >> listen to it. Listen to me. We're We're trying to detect this stuff. Okay. >> How much did you have? >> I drank a beer earlier. You might see beers in my car from like way back. I don't know. I just came up here to sell some plants to my friend. >> Okay. Well, here here's the thing. I feel like you're impaired. So, I'm going to have to place you under arrest for operating motor vehicle. Okay. Put your hands back. By that point, he hadn't resisted the officers or fought them in any way. As things turned out, he still had a hope that he could make some kind of arrangement with them. >> Any way we can talk our way out of this? >> No. >> Is there any way? >> You made the decision. >> You made the decision. >> Well, I don't think I'm impaired for my earlier day. >> I understand. But based off our observations that we were doing, you're impaired. Um, if you wanted to test this, you we'll have a court date over this. >> Am I going to get out of jail tonight? >> Just just just listening. >> Hey, hey, Ethan. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke me, stick me or me? Anything like that? All right, spread your feet. >> Disregarding the man's request for a deal, the cops went on to search him for contraband. At first, he didn't seem to mind, but one of the cops got too close for comfort, and the man made a move that clearly showed he'd been hiding something in his pants all along. >> What was that? Stop. >> Hey, stop. >> Bro, what is it? >> Stop. >> Dude, you're going to end up on the ground. >> Stop, Ethan. You're making this worse. >> Okay. Do you want to get a resistant charge as well? >> YOU WANT TO GET A resistance charge as well? >> Mushrooms, bro. >> Throw it out. >> Please, bro. >> It's mushroom. >> Hey, mushrooms in my balls. >> Okay, stop. >> Take it. And please stop. I'm listening. >> Okay, >> quit leaning and relax. >> Spread your feet for him. >> Yes. >> There you go. What it is? >> I know. I'm just telling you. Please don't yell at me. >> Okay. You're resisting, dude. >> I'm not resisting, bro. That's mushrooms right there. >> Okay. >> There's a lot worse things you can have on you. That's >> I know. I got >> He said he wasn't resisting, but at the same time, he just kept tensing up. While psychedelic mushrooms might not be the worst, they're still classified as schedule one. Possession's considered a misdemeanor and can carry up to a year in prison and a $1,000 fine. >> What do you think my mind goes to when I feel >> Your mind goes to drugs? >> My mind goes to a [ __ ] gun. >> I know about you. It's not that, bro. That's what I'm telling you. >> Okay, it's mushrooms. Chill. >> Yes. >> Just chill. I am, man. Are you guys >> Can you guys just please write that off? >> The mushrooms, bro. Just throw them out. Please, I'll take the DUI. I don't care. >> You can't just >> So, you're going to write me up for mushrooms? >> Stop. >> Okay, now you get this charge. In a lastditch effort to get out of the situation, he made a lousy and futile attempt to flee. Of course, he didn't get far. The cop already had a tight grip on him, so it didn't take much to tackle him to the ground. At that point, the cop tried out some Brazilian jiu-jitsu on him, and he put the man in what practitioners call the mount position. >> Knock it off. Relax. I get you standing up, >> Ethan. >> [snorts] >> Look at these fuckingles taking my mother. >> Stop. >> Look in that. You see that mother? >> Yep. >> You see that? >> Yep. Sure do. [snorts] >> You see my mothering? >> Y'all already searched me, mother. You dumped some [ __ ] in the back seat. >> Did I? >> Mother. >> Yo, look in there. Y'all already looked at my too little. >> After later lab testing, it was confirmed that Ethan had over a 100 grams of various drugs in his possession. By the time they booked him, he'd racked up a slew of charges, including resisting arrest, DUI, escape, tampering with evidence, assault on law enforcement, and possession of drugs. On the 14th of July 2022 in Monroe County, Florida, an officer pulled over a Volkswagen Beetle for a broken tail light. The driver turned out to be a young woman. She was very apologetic and cooperative, but there was something about the woman that made the cop very suspicious. >> Hello. >> Hello. I'm Officer Lopez with Key West. The reason I stopped your vehicle, you have a tag light out. >> Oh, I'm so sorry. I wasn't aware. >> Is this your vehicle? >> Um, yes, and I'm very sorry. >> Okay. Do you have your driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance? >> Oh my goodness. All of this stuff is like kind of shoved in here in the back. I can give you all of my information or whatever and try and look for it. >> Do you have at least your registration or something with your name on? >> Um, yeah, absolutely. Is it just a tagline out? That's it? >> Yes. >> Okay. Yeah. Is it possible to just give me a warning or >> No, I I still have to run the driver the registration and I have to see insurance information. >> Okay. Um, >> give me a second. Maybe perhaps like >> Yes. Is there any weapon in the vehicle? >> You think I would ever do anything? >> 73. Can Can I have another uh 43? Go ahead. >> Why are you asking for another? >> It didn't take long for the interaction to go sideways. When the officer explained that he wanted to see everyone's ID in the car, the driver scoffed at him and even asked him why he was so aggressive. As she was about to look into her purse, the cop realized she was trying to hide something. >> I got it. Thank you. You know what? >> Okay, at this point, step out because I don't know why you have in that bag and I don't like this. Okay, >> for my safety and your safety, get your hands out of the bag. Okay, step out. Step out. >> What tag light is out? your tag light. You don't see it? >> I really don't. Sorry. I just bought this car not too long ago. >> Okay. The tag light is out by state statue 316 221 subsection 2. You are required to have your registration illuminated and it has to be visible at least 50 ft away on the road. >> Okay. I'm so sorry. >> Do you have any questions? >> No. No. Never. No. >> What is your name again? >> You have my >> What is your name? >> You have my information right What is your name? >> Solar. >> What is it? >> Solymore. >> Solymore. >> Mhm. >> Is that your first name? >> That's right here. >> I'm asking you your name. You don't know your name? >> Of course I do. >> What is your first name? >> The driver identified herself as Solomar Santos. She kept being polite and apologetic, probably still hoping that she might get out of this, but by that point, the cop had seen enough to warrant further investigation. He really got hung up on her name, and for good reason. Listen, whatever you have going on, um, can you have them step out, please? Why are you lying to me? >> Like I said, I'll I can get an attorney. There's an issue with this. I >> I don't understand why you are asking for an attorney. Why are you giving me a false name? >> I didn't give you a false name. >> So, why are you giving me somebody's ID right now? Why are you giving me somebody's ID? I asked for your driver's license, not this person's driver's license. I don't know who this person is. Okay. >> Huh? Why are you lying? I >> I'm not lying. I'm giving you all of my information. If I somehow grab the wrong thing, I can go get the other one. >> So there's no misunderstanding. I want you to write down your first name, middle name, last name, and date of birth on this piece of paper. >> I don't want to write it here cuz this is my insurance. >> You can you can write it on the back. Officer Lopez proceeded to check the woman's information and find out if her driver's license, supposedly from Arizona, was still valid. However, he soon found out that the information she gave was false. >> Let's try this one more time. What's her real name? >> That's my name. >> I'm giving you a second chance. >> I'm telling you the truth. That's my name. >> So, >> yes. >> Okay. All right. So, now you are under arrest. Okay. >> Why is that? passenger big rock. >> So like 10:15. >> Oh yeah. >> Passenger. >> Okay. >> All right. Put your hands. Put your hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> What's What's going on here? >> You guys are all being probably arrested, but definitely detained at this point. And just because of a lot of his movements and stuff, I didn't know if he was going to be a flight risk and I was going to tase him if he ran. >> So that's what's going on so far. >> Him with the knee brace I wasn't worried about as much. >> With all the suspects detained and not being a flight risk or danger, Salomar started questioning, the woman started questioning if the stop was legal. But no matter how many times the cops explained to her what was happening, she just couldn't get it. >> Sergeant, I'm not sure the reason that this is happening. I provided >> what's your question? >> Why are you being detained? >> I mean, you're detained as soon as the blue lights come on and we do a traffic stop. That's you're detained at that point >> and we can we can pull anybody out of the vehicle on on any traffic stop and we can run the dog on any traffic stop that we decide to. So, we've done all of those things. You were pulled over. You were asked to exit the vehicle. The dog was ran on your vehicle. Okay. Yeah. Great. And this well whatever is going on with you not providing him the right information is why you were detained initially and now my K9 officer here is telling me that he is finding you know different issues of contraband inside of the vehicle which would warrant you guys being arrested. So we're going to continue searching that search you guys and continue our investigation. Do you have any other questions? >> She then asked why they were doing the canine search even though the sergeant just explained it. The cops decided to just ignore the woman. One of the cops then remarked that within the first 10 seconds he'd notice contraband when inspecting her vehicle. >> There should be no issues with contraband whatsoever. Nothing in that vehicle is without it having a prescription or illegality whatsoever. I >> I really want to show you this >> as soon as I leaned in >> and I saw that that was actually sitting there and then I field tested it. >> Yeah. and she was really weird about her bag and and digging in and got that's why pulling cuz she was really digging and like when she was turning the flashlight she was pulling it away. >> He told her to stop reaching into her bag and she continued to and then it was up there. She slid back to the passenger who was trying to put stuff underneath his right leg too. I found him the whole time. Watch his leg. That's why I said these people were being super weird and super finicky. >> The cops figured there was a long and lengthy search ahead of them. However, it seemed like the suspects didn't bother to hide their stuff at all. A separate registration plate was found right next to the seat. And they found another suspicious item in a very obvious place, the glove compartment. All right, here we go. Inside of the glove box till we know what that is. Let's I'm going to repackage that in there. All right, Tommy, give me another evidence bag for >> more. >> Yeah. Jesus. >> These look like empetamines. >> Uh where was that phone? >> Same top glove box passenger side. And I'm going to be pulling out a lot more unless you want to take this uh phone just to run the serial number. That's really weird how like a brand newish Apple iPhone is in there that way. We found quite a decent amount of things so far. ordering. >> Yeah, we got CO some unknown powder we haven't tested yet possible. >> And there's weed and stuff too, but I don't know if you're caring about that too much. Obviously, >> there's weed residue. >> As the cops found more and more evidence of drug use, the woman's story started to change. She said the car was her roommates and apart from legal marijuana, there shouldn't be anything else inside. That being said, even the car's license plate turned out to be fake. But the real surprise here was waiting in the trunk. >> This is just a box of drugs. >> Literally, I'm literally a box of drugs. >> Like packaging and Yeah. >> He's got a purse. >> Oh, yes. >> I'll be with him. Can you put me in the hall with another four? But it could be same location >> keep the keep pile at. This including this other bag is all from the trunk. >> Is that all evidence on the roof, too? >> Yeah. >> Cool. >> That whole box. The entire box. >> It's It's kind of comical. The cops found a multitude of evidence consistent with drug trafficking and Solomar was arrested and taken to jail. She faced six separate felony counts for possession of drugs and drug paramilia and four misdemeanors as well for resisting fraud or impersonation and traffic violations. Time and time again, it's those very small details that give everything away. No matter how clever drug dealers think their hiding spot is, just one small clue is enough to lead the cops to their secret stash. Thanks for sticking around and if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet, now's your chance. Thanks again and we'll see you next time.
