from this cop who landed himself in a whopping $500,000 lawsuit to this Columbus officer who got severely humiliated by a military veteran here are five entitled cops who messed with the wrong person can't ride him on the sidewalk this is 49-year-old Jennifer Gaiman who on November 19th 2018 was on her way home after a karaoke party on her Mobility Scooter when she was apprehended by brooking's police officers for operating her scooter on a sidewalk suffers from a degenerative eye disease and pulmonary disease and relies on her Mobility Scooter to get around here is how the interaction between her and the cops proceeded nope not according to the Oregon Department of Transportation I'll look it up for you just so you can show know that I'm not messing with you and he's not okay so I'll let everybody know that you guys have bad laws in this town and that people that have disabilities no you know what that's disabilities okay these people ride these scooters for disability you a electronic scooter you're not allowed to have passengers on it that's one rule you are required to wear a helmet no you don't you are you are not allowed to ride it on sidewalks you're not allowed gaimon was issued a citation she was informed by the officers that she was not permitted to ride her scooter home because she did not have a helmet on Gaiman defied the order and proceeded to ride her scooter home anyway the officers followed her home in their patrol vehicles with their lights on eventually arresting her in her house and charging her with attempting to elude police officers a class C felony she was sentenced to 5 days in jail and 18 months of probation following this a $500,000 lawsuit was filed against the officers arguing that they violated her rights under federal disability laws the lawsuit also alleged that the Brookings Police Department failed to train its officers on the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and the proper handling of ADA approved Mobility devices but gaiman's case is nothing compared to the actions of the two officers in this X case gentlemen how you doing tonight great what you got there man what do you mean uh what kind of Beverage is that look like a PSI here is an interaction between two Boulder Colorado cops and an educated citizen who refused to be intimidated the officers spotted him from across the street and approached him had we had a stent of Burg or robberies right okay so and it was at a gas station so the reason I mean yes he may have said the blue lights but we are on crime suppression okay so we are out here stopping Vehicles pulling a close businesses with the gas station right there okay that as soon as I pulled the by knew exactly who you were and I knew you weren't out here doing anything but doing what you do all right that's why I trying to be with my my problem is well you know like I'm saiding I I don't like you just simply because don't have like absolutely but I'm just you I don't like you now I just just of tonight I don't like you from the way you just came at me that's fine give me your idea and that that's that's so wrong and when I said no time that you guys then we'll just fight it out in court I'm going to put my hands up and I'm going do what you tell me when you place me under arrest but I have the right not to ID if I'm not committing a crime bottom line and I asked them several times to leave me alone unless you arresting me you're finding you're finding a charge to charge me with move I don't want to talk to you all well Mr Jackson uhhuh at this point we going to go on by our buiness but I will tell you this mother okay try not to go hanging out at my clothes businesses in the middle of the night okay I'm going follow you guys I would have rather for you to park
