Y'all don't need a warrant to kick in or throw anything on my rights, bro. Y'all not supposed to be here. >> You're going to step out of the vehicle or I'm going to make you get out of the vehicle. >> I'm going to church. >> No, you're going to get out of the vehicle right now. >> Nope. Nope. >> Do not do not do not. >> This is the place of protection. >> To get out of being arrested, people try all kinds of crazy excuses. And some people think they know the law better than police. And while it's hard to deal with an angry suspect, it's sometimes harder for the cops to keep a straight face when these legal experts are just too much. >> I'd like to I'd like to roll up the window to my vehicle. >> We're telling you, so we're going to be doing the killer search. Make sure there's nothing valuable inside before the truck gets here. >> Okay. Well, they cannot search my vehicle without my permission. On July 17th, 2025, the cops pulled a minivan over for running a stop sign. The driver was immediately difficult and refused to hand over her license. The officer was left with no choice but to call for backup and also a supervisor. >> That's fine. I mean, he can look at the information, but >> he No, sir. I'm I don't Here. Here's my license here. Here's my I will not hand you my license. I am not required to hand you in your hand. >> Listen, I'm going to tell you what's going to happen is I'm going to call for a supervisor and he's going to tell you that you're going to give me your license. >> No, sir. For the time being, because >> with all due respect, >> listen to me. Listen to me. >> No, sir. Yes. >> No, sir. No, sir. >> Step out, please. >> No. No, sir. >> Step out. >> Excuse me. No, sir. >> You want to speak for a second, please? >> Yes. I I don't want to talk to you. I'll speak to him. Okay. I I don't care. You don't >> I need you to step back. Yes. >> You'll just have to wait a second. >> No, it's not on your time and your timeline. >> No, it's not, sir. >> United States case law Pennsylvania versus >> I don't care what that is. >> Resisting if you don't get out of here. >> What am I under arrest for? >> The officer explained to the woman that it was a lawful command and she had to comply with it, but she interrupted the officer, complaining she'd shown her license when she was asked. Bizarrely, she then claimed she knew the law and it said she only had to show her license to him and not hand it over. Sir, I don't hand. >> It's probably just going to be a warning and we'll get you out of here. But you're make you're making this more difficult. >> So, at this point at this point, I'm asking you to step out of the vehicle. Okay. >> Okay. And I will. >> So, go ahead and step out right now at this moment because I've I've tried the nice approach and now you're not permission to touch anything in my vehicle. >> So, go ahead and step out or I'm going to pull you out of the vehicle at this point. >> I'm going to step out, but you don't have permission to touch anything. Can I explain Can I explain something to you very fast? >> What's that? >> Listen, I am very knowledgeable in this. Okay, if you let me talk, I'll if you let me talk, I will let you talk. There's United States case law, Pennsylvania versus Mims. If you are ordered to exit your vehicle on a traffic stop by a law enforcement officer, >> I'm going to exit my vehicle. But you don't have permission to touch anything in my vehicle. Nothing. >> When my supervisor gets here, I'll be getting your driver's license. >> No, you won't, sir. It's in my vehicle. >> Ask me to stand right there on the hood of that vehicle. Okay. You don't have permission. You >> have any weapons on your person? >> No, I don't. >> What? >> No, I do not. >> You don't have permission to touch anything. Is that your car? >> Yes, it is. >> The woman explained to the officer that she'd lost official documents when handing them over and therefore carried copies of them. But conveniently, she didn't have a copy of her license. However, she was willing to hand over her registration. >> No, I Those are papers. I can get more of those. >> I have more of those. >> But there is no documents. >> They're copies. >> The DMV didn't personally hand you that piece of paper and say this is your registration. >> Yeah, I think that and that's fine. I can get another one of those, but government issued things like another license. >> No. >> No sir. I know for for a fact I'm not required to hand an officer my driver's license. I have to show it to you. >> Do you read case law? >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. Do you know the case law for this? I don't know it off the top of my head, but I can find it quickly. >> Okay. >> I just >> I'm just I'm just saying I know what my rights are. >> Yeah, I know your rights, too. I'm I'm certified in the state of Florida as officer. I know rights. I know. I know everything. >> That's excellent. Because right now, >> so I just I just don't understand. >> He's violating my rights right now. >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> Swing me out. >> He's say first of all, he lied to me saying that I have to hand my license over. No, I don't. I don't have to give it to him in his hand. >> I didn't answer your opinion. I asked how your rights are being violated. >> I just told you that's not the thing. It's the fact that it's okay. >> She was acting like she knew the law so well. So, the lead officer asked the woman why they pulled her over. Unfortunately, none of what she said indicated that they'd violated her rights. >> Cuz you're saying your rights are violated because he's saying you have to he has to get your license, right? Does he is he in possession of your license? No, but he's threatening me with arrest if I don't hand it to him. >> Well, that's not what the arrest threat was for. He didn't make any threats. He stated that you would be arrested if you didn't step out of caught on your body, so we're it'll get you. You would have been arrested if you didn't step out of the vehicle as we said. >> Okay. Well, I'm here right now. >> Right. So, here we are. You're here. Your rights have not been violated. He doesn't have your license for the camera, but whatever. We'll deal with it in court if we have >> for sure. >> What are we waiting for here? detained for the duration of the stop. >> Okay. >> So, my partner's done conducting this business. You're not further. >> Okay. So, I I'm detained and you can only detain me for like 20 minutes unless you're going to arrest. >> You were detained since since you were stopped. Yeah. >> Okay. So, we're about 15 minutes into it. >> I mean, you know that case all too, right? >> I don't have to answer that. I'm not going to answer it. >> Despite the fact they just told the woman that she was being detained while they investigated her, she continued being very impatient. Condescendingly, she asked the cops why it was taking so long to run her info. And by that point, they'd had enough. >> What am I being arrested for? >> Resisting what? What am I charged with? >> Put your hands Put your hands together. >> What's my original charge? Resisting shoting then I have to be charged. I have to be arrested for something that is not even close to you on any >> even in handcuffs. She continued arguing while the officer explained to her that she repeatedly refused to obey their lawful commands. They then asked the woman if she had any belongings with her that she wanted to take with her to jail. >> I'd like to I'd like to roll up the window to my vehicle. >> That's all we need. So, we're going to be doing a search to make sure there's nothing valuable inside before the >> Okay. Well, they cannot search my vehicle without my permission. >> We don't need your permission because we're towing it and you are placed. Can I speak? >> Because you are under arrest and we are towing your vehicle. Per our policy, we are required to conduct an inventory search of your vehicle to make sure there's nothing of value in there that the tow truck or wherever can ultimately become missing or stolen later. That's why we are required to do an inventory. So, >> unsurprisingly, given the woman's attitude, the cop's explanation about the inventory fell on deaf ears. Then she told the cops again that they didn't have a right to be in her vehicle. >> Okay. >> There's supposed to be a female officer here for that. >> I don't have one anywhere near here. So that's why I'm going to pat you with the back of my hand to make sure you have nothing on you sharp. That's all it is. I'm not going into you. Prove me. >> You guys are really crooked and corrupt. >> It's knowledge. >> No, no, no, no, no. >> It's okay to not have knowledge in a certain area. That's why >> Excuse me. You know nothing about me. Nothing at all. >> He needs to get out of my vehicle. He's doing an illegal search in my vehicle. >> Ma'am, he's doing inventory. So when the tow truck comes, >> you can't claim anything got stolen or taken. >> They need to get out of my vehicle on their body multiple times. They do not have permission to get in my vehicle. >> Clearly, she wasn't going to go quietly. She said the cops were doing an illegal search and she refused to answer questions. She kept invoking the Fifth Amendment and she demanded a lawyer. That's when her attitude became truly shocking. low down dirty lying sex all of you right and I think you [ __ ] I don't know how you sleep at night but you're going to pay for everything all of your deeds in this life you're going to pay for all of them you're sick as >> you I didn't commit a crime you're the one that's committing a crime >> is that all you got >> you're sick >> that's what you want to hear >> that's all you're you are sick sick. You're sick as telling me not to commit crimes. I'm a law-abiding citizen. You are a dirty, crooked, corrupted cop. That is what you are. >> She kept on verbally harassing the officers as they wrapped up their inventory. She told the cops they'd just be making up charges against her just because she annoyed them and went back to her argument that she hadn't been resisting. >> Resisting what? Resisting your freaking order to hand over my license. No, I don't have to hand you my license. I showed it to you, >> right? >> I don't have to give it to you. That's my personal property. >> I don't I'm not going to give it to you. I didn't even have to have my window rolled down. I could have just held my license up to the glass. >> Okay. Guess you didn't see what happened last time someone did that. >> Do you think I care? What are you going to do? Break the glass to my car and ripped me out? >> No. We don't live in a fascist country just yet. >> You're right. >> Not quite yet. >> We're almost there. are correct. All good. >> The cops had finally wrapped up the investigation and it was time to take the woman to jail. She wouldn't stay quiet on the way down there. And when they finally arrived, her attitude showed no signs of improvement. >> I'm going to ask you a question before you come in. Um, are you currently intoxicated? Do you feel like you are? >> Nope. >> All right. Anything on you that you should not have? >> Nope. >> All right. If we do find something that you didn't just tell us about, it'll be an additional charge. But you said no, so that's good. Do you feel like yourself? >> I'm not answering any more questions. >> If you don't at least answer that question, we do have to put you in a g in a smock when you come in. So, it would benefit you just to tell us if you are or are not. >> No. >> Okay. >> So, do you remember you from last time? They charged the woman with resisting an officer and they towed away her vehicle. Her bond was set at $500. On the 1st of May 2025, an officer performed a traffic stop on a suspect whose license was suspended. [music] He approached the vehicle to have a chat with the suspect. And while everything started off pretty friendly, things quickly changed dramatically. >> Hi. >> How you doing? I'm Sergeant Manuel. >> Oh, I actually know you. >> Yeah. You came when my mom passed away. You can came help. Thank you. >> Yeah. I'm sorry about that. So, did you switch insurance recently? >> Insurance >> on your car? >> Did you miss payment or something? So, what they're telling me is that your license is suspended. >> Okay. To be suspended. >> Yeah. A lot of times what it shows me is a financial responsibility suspension. So, a lot of times what it shows me is that it'll happen a lot when people switch insurance or miss insurance payments. If you do that, your insurance will lapse. They'll, >> you know, I'm sick and tired because they play with me with uh every month's up, down, up, down, up, down. And sending this information is because today in internet, it's a big mess. >> The suspect then claimed that her license couldn't be suspended because she was a careful and safe driver. So the officer explained again to the woman that there was a legal requirement for insurance, but that wasn't good enough for the woman and she demanded the officer show her the law. >> I just wrote her the 116 trailing carry liability and truth cuz I'm a nice guy. >> That's fraction though. That's not mandatory court date. >> I know. All right, ma'am. Uh, so not only did I print you out the statute that covers that you're required to carry motor vehicle liability insurance, I carry I printed you out everyone and I printed you out why your license is suspended and why you're being issued citations. I also need to explain to you that you're not able to drive this vehicle. There's a seiz tag order on your car that I have to take. >> You know what? It's a state agency over there. Who made that law? Artificial intelligence >> or civilians? And like >> ma'am, this is a law. I'm not going to argue with you about it. >> What I need you to do is call for a ride. >> Despite the officer's attempts to help the woman understand why they suspended her license, she continued arguing and asking why. The cop could see that she wasn't going to stop arguing. So, he advised the woman where she could dispute her case. >> Well, you can take these to court and argue that with the judge, and I'm sure it's not going to go your way. >> If this is artificial intelligence, [laughter] print you this. >> No, I printed. >> You're supposed to put your brain. So listen, this is what Listen, this is what's going to happen. I have to take your tag. I have to turn it into DMV. No. And you're not going to move this car. >> This car an inch. I will take you to jail. Do you understand? >> I guarantee you I will. >> I'm going to ask Siri right now. >> The woman kept arguing with him, but the officer stayed relaxed and he asked the woman to call for a ride because he couldn't let her drive on a suspended license. Unfortunately, she just wasn't getting the message. >> Now, let's go together. Let's drive together. >> You are not moving this car from this spot. >> All right. I need you to get out of the car. >> Ma'am, get out of the >> Hey, I'm going to put this down. Then she's getting out of the car. >> Listen to me for a second. Let me explain something to you. >> Here's the Here's the issue right now. It's everything civil that can go in the court and be done with it. But if you refuse for lawful or the sergeant is give you and you refuse to listen to his orders, you can get charged for obstruction, which is a criminal matter. I don't want you to get criminal charges. >> To stay on my side because >> I am staying on side. >> I didn't suspend it. Ma'am, you need to step out of car. You're going to get pulled out of the car. >> Step out of car, ma'am. Ma'am, this is a lawful order. You need to >> This is a lawful order. >> You are going to get arrested for obstruction. If you don't step out of the car, >> I'm not playing. >> Ma'am, if you don't step out of a car, you are going to get arrested for obstruction. >> You understand that? The cop was soon joined by his partner and they both gave her several more chances to get out of the vehicle on her own accord. But she remained uncooperative even after they warned the woman what would happen next. >> You good? Send it. >> This is protection. >> Get out of the car. Out of the car. >> Look at this. >> Get out of the car. >> Look at this, guys. Look at this. This is America. Wow. >> Get out of the car. >> Wow. >> Get out of the car. >> Wow. THIS IS AMERICA. GOLDEN AMERICA. Watch every church people. Golden America. We're building. >> You did this to yourself. This could have been real simple. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> 44. I have a white female temp. >> We're going to answer for your actions before Trump. before Mr. Trump. You're going to answer for your actions. >> I can't do it. >> You're going to answer for your actions before Mr. Trump. You heard me? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Yes. Okay. >> Unsurprisingly, the cops were completely unfaced by the suspect's threats as they'd heard it all before. As she sat in the back of the squad car, she complained to the cops that her handcuffs hurt. And even though the cops were trying to help the woman, she was still making things difficult. >> Step out of car. >> I can't. My leg not >> I'm turning around and come this way. >> I can't. My left leg not moving at all. >> 105. >> Okay. Do you want me to fix this or not? >> Yes. I'm coming, please, because I'm losing my hand. >> Yes. So, you need to step out. I can't do that. >> Young boy XY in the blue. >> There you go. >> It's not working. Come on. >> I can't over here. >> There you go. >> There you go. >> Put the other leg on the floor. >> There you go. >> Now come out. Perfect. >> Now stand that way. >> That's fine. I'll hold you. Just turn this way a little bit. Turn. Sir, fantastic. Stay in this position. >> The officers fixed the woman's handcuffs, but she continued acting like the cops were mistreating her. On December 20th, 2024, the cops were dispatched to a residence because a man there, later identified as Darius, had allegedly called a woman named Aisha more than 100 times. Because of his behavior, he was given a restraining order, also known as an order of protection. Darius. Champagne police. I just want to talk to you. >> Who is >> Champagne Police? >> Who you looking for? >> Darius. >> Ain't no Darius there. >> Darius, I know it's you. Let me just talk to you. Just tell you to knock some stuff off and we can get out of here. >> What you looking for, Darius? >> I just want to tell him to stop calling Alicia, but that's I need to talk to you. Make sure I talk to the right person. >> I ain't no Darius here, bro. Darius, that's you. >> No. >> Just answer the door. You don't got a warrant or anything. >> You don't have a warrant or anything. I just want to tell you to knock that crap off. Stop calling her. >> The officer warned [music] the man that if he continued calling the woman, he could be arrested for harassment through a communication device. That's what finally got the man's attention. >> Are you calling her and leaving her messages? >> No, I'm not calling nobody, leaving nothing. Okay. Why Why would she say that? Okay. I'm Darius. Okay. >> So, what's going on, Darius, between you and her? >> So, at the end of the day, Okay. At at the end of the day, >> yeah, >> me and her had a disagreement about >> I call her talking to another guy. >> Okay. >> And I left her alone. >> Okay. >> I don't want nothing to do with her. >> Okay. >> I'm not going I blocked her. No, I don't call her or nothing. >> If you aren't doing that, just knock that off. She doesn't want She doesn't want Okay, I'm going to tell both of y'all. I'm going to tell both of y'all that like y'all know the law, right? >> Yeah. >> In the state of constitution, if [music] you come to a house to lock them up, have proof. Y'all don't got no proof of nothing. We going to have a good day. Y'all going about your business. Uh, and it's it's cool. >> Well, you're not allowed. You're not leaving yet. So, you have an order protection. It needs to be served. Okay. >> All right. Let me sign the paper. What's >> We're waiting for a county deputy to come out here and give you the paperwork. Once he gives you paperwork, you're then you're free to go. >> Yeah. You You don't got no right to touch me, though. >> Yes, you do. You're >> No, you don't. You don't serving civil paper. >> Hey, Mom. They don't got no warrant. They don't got nothing. >> Serving civil paper. >> Hey, it that's that mean a sheriff. That mean the sheriff. Y'all Okay. Hey, Y'ALL. NOT THE Y'ALL. NOT THE SHERIFF, THOUGH. >> They're coming out here. Do not go inside the house. Then stop. Then knock it off. >> I'm not going inside the house. I'm trying to calm the dog. Let me cal the dogs down, bro. >> The officer warned the man that if he went back in the house, they'd put him in handcuffs and they would keep him detained while they figured things out. Darius only got more agitated because he somehow thought that the law was on his side. >> Y'all need a warrant to kick in the door anything. >> Know my rights, bro. Y supposed to be here. >> Okay. And I'm gonna call her again. Like you just sent the police to my house and you and you see you see it's private, bro. I don't got no text messages or none of that with her, bro. No, I'm not calling her, bro. I just got off the phone with another [ __ ] bro. What the >> Why would she say Why would she say that? >> Officer, don't don't touch like like is it y'all going to lock is y is it y'all going to go downstairs me get the keys to lock this mother up? I can put the alarm on and take me to jail or y'all going to let me in my mother house. Despite the warnings he'd been given, the man was still trying to move away from the cops. Considering the cops were only there to serve the man his order, his behavior seemed pretty excessive. And even after the cops pointed that out to him, he still wasn't getting the message. >> If you try to leave again, we're going to be detained in handcuffs. You understand? >> That's cool. >> Okay, that's cool. You You need to You search me up before you got here, bro. >> What do you mean? >> Did you look my name up before you got here? >> Yes. >> I play games. >> They are coming up here. >> Okay. I play the type of game. What do you mean you play the type of games? >> Okay, you going you going to understand if you don't understand. >> What is that supposed to mean? >> Okay. Just like you don't got no ruin. You don't you you you don't got no right to touch me or nothing. You going off of he say she say, bro. And then look, you see that coming right there? >> Yeah. >> Do what you got to do to survive, bro. >> I got a right to stop. I got to stop you, bro. I ain't >> What y'all doing? >> You're just being detained right now. >> I'm not I'm not being Look, Y'ALL HURT ME, BRO. HELP! HELP! [screaming] HELP! HELP! DADDY! HELP! HELP! HELP! B! B HELP! >> I'M NOT RESISTING. >> I'M NOT RESISTING. MOM, >> I'm going go get right out, bro. >> You're all right. >> You're all right, bro. Y'all don't got no warrant, no nothing, bro. >> Dude, we told you a LOT OF TIMES. SHADOW DON'T GOT NO warrant on nothing to lock me up though, bro. >> Hilariously, even the man's dog didn't have his back. They helped the man to his feet and he then decided that he wasn't going anywhere till his mother showed up and he insisted on just sitting on the stairs. >> You just got certain of paper, told you don't do that again. Don't call and be done. You would have been back inside the house. We told you numerous times. Don't go back inside the house. >> You told you you ain't tell me who who it's for. >> I just told you. >> No, you just told me right now, officer. You just told me right NOW AND YOUR CAMERA GOT EVERYTHING. I'M ASKING YOU WHY YOU HERE. You never said the name. You never said nothing. YOU JUST SAID you got a paperwork coming towards you. You never said the name. Who's coming from? Nothing, man. >> Either way, the county has to come serve the >> Okay. I want to order petition on her, too, cuz she got Hey, hold on. Hold on. No, hold on. >> So, you have to go to the courthouse to do that. >> All right. All right. If you got to go to the courthouse, y'all shouldn't be popping up. The sheriff post popped up. >> No. Y police. >> I'm here for a case for harassment. I'm here. >> I never been to her crib. I never been to her. None of that there to to get a harassment charge. >> Come on, man. Let me go, bro. Let me go back to my house. >> It's called harassment through electronic communication device. >> Okay, >> dude. You would have been out of here. >> I was Hey, don't trust me, bro. Don't >> stop it. Just sit down. You want to sit down, dude? Are you going to go? You're serious? I'm going TO JAIL FOR WHAT? >> RESISTING. RESISTING OR WHAT? I TOLD YOU. >> I NEVER BEEN LOCKED UP. I LIKE literally >> I don't got NO TIME. [screaming] YOU NEVER TALKED ME. HOW >> resist resisting you ever. >> Given how overly dramatic he was acting, the officer started to suspect that he might have been drinking. But the man quickly changed the subject and then had the bright idea of threatening to kick one of the cops in the face. In addition, he then decided it was time to play the race card. >> Hey, you supposed to be a black, but you ride with the with the red next door. It do got something to do with lock, bro. Man, stop patrol my bro. Can you get my phone? Let me get my phone. Give me No, I'm not I'm reaching for my phone. Give me my phone, bro. I'm my mama. >> Hey, bro. Stop putting your hand. You going You going to feel it. >> Oh, you're going to feel lit, too. Hey, you going to beat my front camera. >> [snorts] >> Right. >> WE GOT CAMERAS RIGHT HERE. >> All right. And I was moving up moving. >> Right. Look like like like that camera catching everything you're doing. >> I haven't touched you on none of that. >> Bring our squad up here. >> I I haven't touched you with none of that. Look look. >> No. We're going to the squad. You want to play these games? >> Look, I'm not doing stand up and walk like a big >> Seriously, how old are you, dude? They did manage to get him back on his feet, but he continued to resist. He again told the cops that he was trying to get in his house to get to his dog and accused the cops of trying to shoot it. >> It just happened too fast for me, bro. >> Like, like, listen to me. Just please listen to me. Listen. Okay, I understand what you're saying. I understand what you're saying. Just Yes, you're right. I've been drinking, bro. I'm at home drinking inside my house. But listen to me, officer. >> Listen, I'm not trying to go. I got two kids in that house right now, bro. My kids in school at that they to come home look for their daddy. >> Okay. >> Well, you said your mom's coming here, right? >> Yeah. I I don't need no charge. I like >> his mother eventually arrived and caught up with the cops about what had gone on. Unfortunately for Darius, his arguments were getting him nowhere. So, he tried something new. >> Take me to the hospital. I'm crazy. Take me to the hospital. Put me on a psych ward. >> Darius, you need to calm down. >> I'M NOT GOING TO GO SIT nobody bullpin. I don't got no money, no nothing. I got nothing. >> We'll release you. You don't have to bond out. >> There's no bond. >> You want me to sit? You want me to sit to the like? Why you just not let me? You You just want You just want to charge the but your belt right now. >> Darius. >> You will BE OUT TOMORROW MORNING. CALM DOWN, BRO. >> NO, I'M GOING TO the I to me. I'm going to mental hospital, bro. >> I'm going to mental hospital. Stop. I'm not going no jail, bro. I'm not going to sit in no bullp. Y'all let me lose my job and everything. >> It's not like It's not like what it used to be. >> It is like it used to be. >> Y'ALL GONNA SAY ANYTHING FOR ME TO CALM DOWN? >> NO, WE'RE NOT. >> YES, I live. >> Don't touch me, bro. Don't touch me. >> Stop it. >> Darius, you're going to hurt yourself. >> Watch out. He's biting. He's biting. Are you biting? [snorts] >> There it is. >> Yes. Let go. Thank you. Appreciate it. >> No, I'm missing what, bro. >> Despite the fact that his mother was crying for him to calm down, he just kept acting up. The cops finally secured the man so he couldn't hurt himself or anyone else. But he still had one more act of defiance to complete his performance. So what I'm getting charged for, officer, resist. So only thing I said, what is y'all charging me with? What's up, Darius? >> What get charged with? >> They charged the man with resisting obstructing an officer and obstructing a civil process, both of which were misdemeanors. On July 29th, 2024, the cops were dispatched to an apartment complex due to reports of domestic battery. They arrived to find the suspect inside and they approached the woman to question her. Can I come in there? >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Outside then? >> Yeah. Okay, that's fine. >> Are you guys serious? >> Step outside. >> Let's talk. >> What's going on? We don't have a body camera on everything. >> I don't really care. >> What's going on? >> Me and him wrestling. >> Okay. >> Is that okay? >> Why are we wrestling? >> For fun. >> For fun. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> You guys arguing? Well, not really. I mean, >> have you never like watched UFC fighting and like wanted to do like a No, >> not to the extent where we're getting called in. >> Okay. Well, then >> you guys like arguing about something. >> No, I said let's play the best fight. >> Okay. Is that's what he's going to say? >> Absolutely. >> Okay. You look like you've been hit a couple times in the face. >> No. >> No. >> Looks like you got bruises. >> No, I don't. >> Hands all red. >> No. >> Okay. We have some alcohol beverages tonight. >> No, >> don't lie to me. >> I don't need your ears right here. >> We're here to see what's going on. >> I'll show you what's going on. >> Okay, hang on. Let's go in. >> No, we're staying out here. >> No, we're not. >> We're going into my apartment. >> Do not put your hands on me. >> Step back. >> I better touch. >> Make sure this is on here. >> I touched you. >> Step back over here. >> I did not touch you. The officers tried to calm the woman down and walk her over to the side away from the apartment door. But unfortunately, she got fixated on the idea that she was being wrongly accused and became increasingly impatient. >> Listen, we just >> Don't say that. You're psycho. Do not say it touched you. I'm going into my apartment. >> Correct. >> Am I going into my apartment? >> I tried to talk to you in your apartment. >> Oh my god. >> Well, we go to the apartment. Don't say I touched you. >> Hang on. taking just just breathe. >> No, you can't touch me. But hey, we'll get all this figured out. All right. >> Okay. I didn't I want to go to my apartment. He said I touched her. I didn't touch her. >> Don't say that. >> Okay, let's get out. >> So, can I go yet? >> Hey, we'll get everything figured out. >> But don't tell me I touched her. I didn't touch her. She admitted it wasn't her first time dealing with the cops and she mentioned an officer named Derek, but the male officer had no idea who he was. He tried to get the woman's details, but she was adamant she was going back in the apartment. >> Get some back up, please. Then we're going to my apartment. You cannot for >> I can keep you guys at this point. >> I promise you I stay safe >> and I've been doing I've been I've been doing this 15 years. >> What we're going to do is we're going to No, no, no. You cannot hold me against >> We We can Hey, no. YOU WANT TO TALK? >> TELL ME THE LAW. >> WE CAN talk about all day long. >> We can absolutely detain you until we figure out what's going on. You're going to get in legal trouble. Why are you getting in trouble right now? >> You're not detaining me. >> If you keep trying to go in there, we are going to detain you. >> I don't give A >> YOU ARE NOT detaining me. >> Back up. >> Really? Really? >> Seriously? What are you doing? Stop. Stop resisting. >> Why are you okay? Yo, would you say that? >> Really? >> You're really I haven't done nothing. And literally, I am calm. Even after pushing the cops hard enough to get herself arrested, she denied doing anything wrong and resisted the cops as she was led to a vehicle. They put her in the back of a squad car, but she was so worked up they just couldn't leave her in there for long. >> Well, just so you don't get ran over by this car. >> Get these off. Can you get these off? >> No, we're not taking the cuffs off. >> I already let you out of the car, which is way more than I need to. That's cuz you're just hyperventilating. So, we're going to have medical check out and then then we're going to jail. >> Perfect. >> For what? >> For what? >> Well, here's >> Tell me about what I'm going to >> This is why we can have a conversation between the two of us cuz every time >> Stop. Every time you ask me something, start yelling at me. >> I don't know. >> Okay. Why? >> You were going to jail for aggravated battery of a police officer? >> Yeah. >> Uh, Deputy Frost there. >> I mean, >> because why? Because I touched Wait a minute. She has her hands on the hand. That's fine. Let go. Let go. >> Lawyer. >> Okay. Please don't ask me in two minutes why you're being arrested again. >> Lawyer. >> Touch you because I grabbed my door on my apartment. Let go. >> Let's go. >> Ambulance. >> Ready. >> Ambulance and a lawyer. >> You want the ambulance? Okay. >> Both. The male officer told the woman she could see an attorney the following day, but she ignored the officer and kept making her demands. She kept up with the argument that she'd done nothing wrong and was just reaching for the door to her apartment. >> Well, at that point when we're here, you don't have the right to reach for it. >> I have Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know my rights. >> Mother, really? [crying] >> I didn't know. I didn't couldn't reach for my apartment that I pay for it. >> There's a deputy stand. Oh, is that the right >> Lego? Lawyer. >> Lawyer. >> I'm not asking you any question. >> Lawyer. >> Lawyer. >> Real quick. That's what people do when they ask for an attorney. Everybody just quiet. So, we're all going to be quiet now. >> You ask for attorney, let's everybody be quiet. >> Lawyer. >> Lawyer. >> We got attorney. >> I'll be out tomorrow. >> You asked for lawyer. You can't talk. >> I bet you a million dollars I will be. >> Okay. Next up, she started threatening the cops, saying that with the help of her attorney, any charges she got for touching the female officer would be dismissed. She then played another card, the you have no idea who I am card, and it was just too much. >> We know who you are. >> Oh, you think See, stop. See, >> you better calm down. >> That's enough of that. >> See, enough of that. Kick me up. >> No, I'm not. Get me up. >> Get Don't touch. >> You're sitting down. >> So why? >> CUZ YOU JUST ACTED LIKE YOU WERE going to kick me. >> No, I'm not. I'm getting up. Are you guys >> are we? >> It's all on body camera. >> So, >> you should have learned the first time. >> No, that's my card. >> We're going to have them check you out real quick. Stay down. >> WHY DO YOU IT'S OKAY FOR you to touch me. >> No, it's not. >> Yep. Hold on to your shoulders. >> Okay, perfect. It's all on body >> AND I DIDN'T TOUCH HER EVER. >> Talk to your turn. >> While they waited for the medics, the cops had no choice but to hold the woman down. And even though she was the one who'd asked for the ambulance, she was not going to make things easy for the medics when they arrived. >> Is it okay if we take a look at you? >> No. >> Can I touch you to take >> Cuz I'm a paramedic and you were hyperventilating. >> No, I'm good. >> Why am I going to jail? >> Are you refusing? >> For what? For me reaching for the door. >> Do you want to see medical? No. >> All right, let's go to jail then. >> I don't give a Why am I getting Why did they get to grab me? You keep resisting. >> Are you sure? >> Oh, okay. Okay. >> No. >> Are you crazy? >> Real quick. >> Why am I going to jail? >> Stay right here. >> Seriously, you're really >> As she was again placed in the squad car, she was still uncooperative. Unbelievably, she accused the cops of being aggressive with her and hurting her wrist, even though she was the one who made things harder than they had to be. They charged the woman with resisting arrest, domestic battery, and aggravated battery on law enforcement. On the 8th of June 2025, the cops pulled a car over for failing to stop at a stop sign. The officer approached the vehicle to talk to the driver, and it quickly became clear that the woman behind the wheel was living in her own bizarre world. Good morning, Officer Language of the Naples Police Department. The reason I'm stopping you is failure to come to a complete stop at the stop sign. >> Oh, I did. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. This your license and registration. >> I no longer use a license. I only have uh my passport that I use. I'm a state national, so I no longer have to abide by uh the corporate corporation's rules, and I have my documentation for that. >> Okay. It didn't take long for the cop to realize she was a sovereign citizen, and clearly things were not going to go smoothly. She handed over her documents, but in the real world, they didn't carry any weight. >> Those were previous uh citations that were dismissed by Judge Cone. >> Yeah, this doesn't show me anything of why you don't have to have a driver's license, though. >> Uh I'm a state national, so uh I'm exempt from the problem or the what you guys do. I'm exempt from the uh >> Usually you have a card on you that states that um that they give you that you're exemplary. >> Yeah, they they haven't sent it to me yet. But I I have filed all the paperwork and it's been in place. >> It's been in place for what? >> Six years. >> And you don't have if it's been in place for six years, you don't have the prior one. >> They they didn't send it to me yet. >> In the whole entire six years, you've never had any. know how our federal government works. So this is >> So what do you provide for documentation wherever you go? You only provide ma'am. >> You should have been at least issued an identification card even if you don't have a driver's license. >> No, because the identification card again abides by your rules uh leaning uh ownership of my vehicles of myself to you and I'm no longer a part of the corporation. So I'm exempt. So what what we're doing here is illegal as far as me because I no longer participate in extortion of the police department. >> The officer asked the woman if she was saying she was a sovereign citizen but the woman maintained she was a state national which was just another strange label they use and she mentioned other common terms like freedom of land, common law citizen and natural person. >> Where do you reside at? >> I reside in Naples, Florida. >> Where exactly? here in Naples. >> I know, but I I need to know so I can issue you um a citation. I need to know your address. >> You don't have to issue me a citation. >> We still have to follow the rules that everybody else follows. >> No, ma'am. I do not. I do not. That that that's why I always get it excused. >> You don't have any you don't have any documentation on you stating that. So, you're not exact. >> No, I am I am. Believe me, you'll get a bond from me that goes directly towards you that finds you for every minute that you're holding me here. There there is no crime that's committed. You can only detain me if there's a crime committed. >> Ma'am, you are legally have to follow injured party. You still have to follow. No, I don't. It's See, you guys are extorting money from us. See, the problem is you're violating my fourth amendment. No, it's actually not. >> Yes, you are. I can go through it with you, doll. Okay, >> I have it all here. >> Stand by. >> Because the woman was causing the cop all kinds of problems, she called her sergeant for advice. But the woman overheard them on the phone and tried again to argue her case. So, the officer let her repeat her nonsense to the sergeant. >> Okay. Can you repeat again what you just told me? I'm >> I'm a state travel. I'm I'm a state national. I have the right to travel freely. I am not encumbered by any of your laws or regulations. stating she stating she doesn't have to have a driver's license. She can run the stop sign, do everything, and that she travels through common law. And um >> she said if she if she fails to produce identification or a driver's license, she can >> I did I did produce my my >> She gave me her passport, but she says she doesn't have a driver's license. She doesn't need a driver's license. doesn't have if she doesn't have a if she doesn't have a driver's license just like anyone else, she can be arrested for not having a driver's license. >> No state shall No state shall convert my >> back. >> It's a god-given right. >> It's a god-given right. You guys are You guys are extorting money from us. It's a god-given right. >> The driver was then asked for a registration, but of course, she didn't have it. Unfortunately, there's a reason to carry the correct documentation which the officer tried to explain. >> In the event you get into an accident with somebody or something, >> I have insurance. >> I have insurance and I've also got a bond. >> So, I have there's no injured party here, honey. >> It doesn't matter if there's no >> Absolutely. It does. That's when a crime is committed. That's the only time you can pull me. No ma'am. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Party. >> You're offering You're offering the contract. >> A backup officer arrived. So, the officer tried to fill him in. They'd now found out that the woman's license was expired. And when they went back to talk to her again, she still wouldn't cooperate. >> I am not I am not contracting with you. >> Okay. >> Hear me out for a second. Okay. >> I heard what you had to say. At this point, she has asked you to turn the vehicle off and step out of the vehicle. >> If you listen to me, you are going to step out of the vehicle. >> Why would I do that? >> Because I asked you to. >> You don't have any authority. I do. >> No, you don't. You both are criminals. >> No. You're going to step out of the vehicle or I'm going to make you get out of the vehicle. >> I'm going to church. >> No. You're going to get out of the vehicle right now. >> Nope. Nope. >> Do not do not do not. >> Oh my god. No. No. >> No. No. >> Stop. Leave me alone. >> Listen. >> Oh my god. I'm going to church. You >> stop it. Leave me alone. >> Please stop. >> Oh my god. Are you crazy? >> No. You're going to step out of the vehicle right now. >> Oh my god. Wait. Let me turn my vehicle off. >> Do not grab me. No. >> Stop. >> Do not stop it. >> Grab this. >> I'm going to put I'm going to lock up my car. >> No. >> I'm going to lock up my car. >> No. >> We tried to help. >> Oh my god. Burn. >> Hold on. Get your Get your supervisor. >> Step out. Step out. >> Oh my god. Let me put my car in now. Step out. Put my car in. Step out. Now >> step out. >> Stay right there. Do not move. >> Oh my god. >> The woman continued worrying about locking her car up, but the cops were no longer in the mood for her games. They promised the woman they'd take care of it once they got her secured. So then she tried using a new tactic. Please let me go to church. >> Don't tighten them again. YOU DON'T HAVE TO TIGHTEN them that much. >> There they are loose. >> Relax. >> Nope. >> Ow. You don't have to tighten it, sir. >> I'm not tight. >> You are. You're tight. >> They have to be clamped on. They're handcuffs. Are you the supervisor? >> I am the supervisor. >> Okay. I need you to please get my purse and call my attorney. >> Ma'am, I'm not calling your attorney. I will We will take care of your property. >> Going to have a seat right now. >> Don't handle me like that. >> You're going to sit down, please. >> Stop it. >> Sit down and put your legs in. >> Don't tow my car. Call my brother to come down. >> Thank you. >> Please don't tow my car. >> Watch your legs. >> Please don't tow my vehicle. Can I please call my brother? >> No. >> Why? >> Just getting towed. >> Why? That's theft. >> It's not. >> Sir, you're you're stealing my car if you impound it. >> She might have thought she could make her own rules up, but unfortunately, she had to find out the hard way that the law applies to everyone. They charged the woman with failure to obey orders from the police or fire department, resisting an officer with violence, and battery on specified personnel. On the 8th of July 2025, the cops got a call about a couple later identified as Katherine Veladres and Lewis Perez, who allegedly were driving while drunk. By the time the officers arrived, they were parked in a parking lot and having an argument. >> Hello. How are you? Do you mind uh rolling down the other window, please? >> Hello. How are you? What's going on today? We are just [music] coming around. >> Sir, can you Sir, can you speak to me? You can speak to my partner. Can you speak to me? >> Ma'am, what's going on today? >> Ma'am, >> I'm sorry. >> Okay. First of all, >> sir, >> why are we >> What's going on today? >> Who? >> Us. >> You, too. Okay. You mind stepping out of the car for me? >> You don't have to. >> Just so I could talk to you over here and not in front of her. Ma'am. >> Nope. [music] I know my rights. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, we're law. Okay. And you right now are being detained. >> So, we're trying to >> Okay. I'm not going to argue with you. >> Catherine then claimed they'd done nothing wrong and had just parked their car due to a family issue. In her mind, it meant she didn't have to follow lawful orders and there was nothing the cops could say to her that could change her mind. >> Understandable. But listen to me. I already told you. Right now, we're conducting an investigation. Right now, the both of you are detained. >> Listen, you are not going to interrupt me again. >> First of all, officer, >> you're not going to interrupt me again. >> You're going to make this a whole lot worse. I didn't say you did anything wrong. I'm just asking if you could speak to me with >> So, why am I being good team? I'm asking for you to speak with me. If you're good to go, I'll let you get back in the car and you can leave. >> I'm good to go >> right now. That's not for you to decide. >> Oh, [music] it is. Okay. >> Because you have no grounds. >> She continued on and was challenging the cops to prove what laws they'd broken. Clearly, she thought she knew the law better than the cops did, despite their efforts to explain to her that it was their duty to investigate every call. >> You went to law school. Are you doubting my my my >> I'm asking a question. No. No. Are you doubting my >> Are you doubting mine? Sir, step out of the car. >> I do. >> I do actually. >> I do. >> Oh, can you prove it? >> You want me to pull out my diploma? >> Go ahead. >> Can you? >> I can. Okay. >> Oh my god. Step out of the car, please. >> No. [music] You're going about your right now. >> Okay. >> Understandably, the cop's patience was wearing thin. A sergeant was on the way, but in the meantime, they kept asking the man to step out of the vehicle. But unfortunately for these two, they were about to make their situation a whole lot worse. >> I'm not stupid. >> What door have I broken? >> You're acting stupid. Get out of the car. >> Oh, no. We're not acting stupid. >> I'm not talking to you. I'm not talking to you. Step out of the car, sir. >> I'm saying that. No, you haven't. >> Step out of the car. >> We're not The car is not moving. The car is not moving. We haven't done anything. [music] We can you can actually put the windows up right now. Quiet the car. Let's go. >> There it is. Obstruction. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR. >> Step out of the car. >> When the sergeant arrived, he explained to the couple that when asked to step out of the vehicle, it's a lawful order and you're required to obey it. However, it wasn't good enough for Catherine, who said she knew what her rights were. >> This doesn't need to be a back and forth right now. We're doing our best to be professional and this is the third time we're going to say when an officer tells you to step out of the car for an investigation, you're lawfully required to do that. If you want to deny that, that's on you, but you're mistaken and we can remove you from this car with force if need be, which we're doing everything we can to prevent that. So, the smart thing to do would just be to simply stand [music] on the pavement instead of going all that route. Right. Catherine denied driving drunk even though the cops could smell the alcohol on her. Though they threatened to arrest her, she still wouldn't back down and she then started saying that they had to have a warrant. And when they told the woman that it was her sister Alice who called police, she then called her sister to find out for herself. >> That's why the officers approached this vehicle. Based on their observations, the operation the vehicle was being operated. We were in the driver's seat. They immediately smelled the odor of alcohol. They notice other displays of behavior that indicate to them that you might be intoxicated. That's more than enough for them to conduct field tests called standard sobriety test to determine if you might be intoxicated or not. You're completely lawfully required at this point to step out of this car so we can conduct those tests. If you refuse, if you refuse, you arrest for want you want your lawyer here. >> Okay. So when you're arrested, you can contact your lawyer. All right? Do you understand what I just said to you? Do you understand what I just said? >> Nobody wants to be friends. But Alex, did you do this? >> So you did this. >> You were here, >> sir. You understand what I said to you? I said as courteous, I'm sorry. >> You do not understand. Okay. Well, the next thing we're going to do is we're going to have you step out of the car. If you physically if you physically resist us, you will be placed under saying that he's >> we are going to have you step out of the car since you're passively resisting. You're not listening to verbal command. >> Despite the cop's best efforts to resolve things peacefully, she continued arguing and refused to step out. They were ignoring the sergeant's warnings and found out the hard way what comes next. >> Wait, wait, wait. Who's pushing the car? Get out of the car. No. Get out of the car. >> He's not driving. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> Get out of the car. >> He's not driving. >> Resist. >> Get out of the car. Get out of the car. >> He's not driving. >> Get out of the car. >> He was never driving. She's >> He was never driving. >> Get out of the car. >> I'm going I'm going TO SUE YOU. DO NOT do this. >> Holy. >> Stop tensing up. I'm not I'm not sure you're assistant. >> All right, we're handcuffing. That's all we're doing. >> Why? >> Why? He needed TO COMMIT NO CRIME. >> Even if she argued the man wasn't driving because they were parked, the engine was on. So, the man still had control of the car while drunk, which is clearly illegal. Once the officers placed him in handcuffs, they helped the man up and led him to a squad car where they searched the man and then placed him in the back. Next up, it was Catherine's turn. >> Come on. Let's step out of the car. >> Oh, hell no. You're not going to no. >> Come on. >> No. No. >> Ma'am, the same thing that happened to him is going to happen to you if you don't get out of the vehicle. We're giving you the option to step out of the vehicle without us putting our hands on you. So, step out of the vehicle. >> Okay. Thank you. >> You want me to go to the You want me to follow you? I'll follow you. I'll follow you. But you're not touching me. Get out of the vehicle. You're not You're not touching me. >> Get out of the vehicle. >> We just went over this. You don't want me to touch you? I'm telling you to step out. Step out on your own then. >> Someone asked you. >> Giving you the right to touch. >> I don't need rights to touch you right now. >> You have to tell me why you're touching me. >> We already went over this 100 times. >> No, you're not. >> Unbelievably, Catherine then tried telling Alice that the cops had thrown Lewis on the ground and that they were threatening her. Alice advised that Lewis had a heart condition and begged Catherine to cooperate, but unfortunately, she wouldn't even listen to her sister. >> Get out of the car. >> All right, come on. CALL THE AMBULANCE. >> NO, NO, NO. DO NOT TOUCH ME. >> COME ON. >> Now they're pushing me. Now they're pushing. >> I got this on. >> You don't have to push me anymore. >> Get on your stomach. Do not push me. I tell you to walk. Walk. >> Where's my >> Stand right here. You're going to get searched. Stand right here. You're going to get searched. >> Who's searching me? Who's searching me? Who is searching me? 347. What's your last name? >> Yeah. No warrants on my car. No, nothing. They have >> No, you have my my doors open in my car. >> I have stuff there for my baby. You have no reason to arrest me. No reason. >> Okay. Have a seat. >> Oh god. >> My purse. >> Have a seat. >> My purse. >> Get in the car. My purse. Get in the car. Have a seat. >> Put your foot on that and push yourself up. >> I'm trying. Give me a second. Oh my god. >> You knew the law though. >> My car is not yours. >> With both the suspects secured in squad cars. The cops then searched their vehicle. It quickly became clear why the cops smelled alcohol when the couple had first rolled their windows down. >> Yep. In here. You should definitely hid that. under his chair. All right, hold on. Let me write it down for you so we know. Half full. I'm going to come on your side cuz this is good. Oh my god, I'm dripping. Half full Voda vodka. >> Yeah, >> that was passenger. This is empty under his seat. This one's not open yet under his seat. The cops also found a bag of shooters. The couple could argue about the law and their rights all they wanted, but the evidence spoke for itself. They were both charged with resisting arrest, driving under the influence, and obstructing justice. On the 5th of February, 2025, an officer noticed a vehicle unlawfully parked in the middle of the street. The officer managed to pull the car over, but unfortunately the driver, later identified as Valentina, was about to make this traffic stop anything but routine. >> Can you stay in the car? >> I can get out cuz you pulled me over to >> You can stand. You can stand over here then. You're parked. >> Pull me over to do what? Because you want to stand over my You want to stand over here? >> I got insurance and everything. >> So I need you to know that. And I'm glad cuz I got a camera in my car, too. >> Okay. Well, you also can't park in the middle of the road. That's a TRAFFIC VIOLATION. THAT MIDDLE OF THE WORLD OF ME PARKING. I live here and I was parking to >> That doesn't mean anything. I told you to pull the side and you looked at me in my car that >> that's fine. Where So you have a license insurance. So where's that car? I own that. >> Okay, you can go grab that then. >> Okay. And I want a car charge, too. >> In Valentina's mind, she'd done nothing wrong and they'd wrongfully stopped her. She continued denying the traffic violation and despite saying she had her license and registration, she made no effort to get them. Can I get your badge number? >> You will get that after you give me the identification that I asked for first. I asked you for your identification. >> Call yourself. >> I'll give you >> I will give you my information once you my shelf. >> Your sheriff. >> My sheriff. I don't work for the sheriff's office, ma'am. I work for the city of the capital police department. >> Call whoever. >> I need your license and insurance. >> Call your Call your person that's >> He's right here, actually. >> Yeah, you're not cuz it's a white shirt. Call your white shirt. >> That's not how that works. We're not in Chicago. >> Call your white shirts, >> ma'am. He's asking for a driver's license. You have to provide it. >> Yes. Record this. >> Record this >> cuz HE JUST SAT AND WATCH MY CAR GO OUT AND ME STARTING MY CAR BACK UP AND THEN HE STOPPED ME AT THIS SIGN TO COME UP IN HERE to go home. >> We need to >> record that. Record that. >> You identify yourself. You're going to be arrested. >> Okay. Arrest me then. >> Okay. Come here. You're under arrest. >> Yeah. Let me get my stuff. >> It's okay. You're under arrest. >> Put your hands back. Record it. Record it. >> Okay. Yes, sir. I'm complaining. I'm a foodie. >> Okay, it's fine. >> That's fine. You obstructed a lawful order. >> You told me to rescue, so that means you're clear. >> I didn't tell you to do none of that, but I got my license and everything in this car. >> Clearly, she didn't want to exercise her right to remain silent. She kept on claiming she had a camera in her car, but it didn't face the officers at all. They stayed calm and professional as they went on with the arrest. Ma'am, would you like your phone? >> My My phone is in there and I tried. >> Yes. Would you like your phone? >> Yes, please. >> Okay. Is there anything else in there that you'd like? >> No. The My phone and the thing that's at the top, >> the battery pack. >> Yes. And that's a recording pack, too, cuz I recorded everything. >> Okay, that's You have anything illegal on your person or poke me? >> No, you can check me. >> Okay. Can you just stand up against the car, please? >> Okay. Can you just stand up against the car for me, please? Thank you. Despite her never-ending arguments, she was otherwise pretty cooperative. The lead officer proceeded to search her before she was taken to jail. >> But what I'm getting up there's up there. >> Got it. >> Um, you're at least being arrested for obstructing a peace officer. >> Um, hello. >> Uh, me. You didn't provide your name and I asked you multiple times. >> Also, we're going to talk more once we get to the police department. >> And I'm giving you my name for what? I live in this complex. This is a private conversation. There's no way that you should be right. But that's fine. I'll take that for it, too. >> Okay, that's fine. >> What's that? >> You search me illegally. >> Yeah. Your body cam should have it. >> Searched. [clears throat] Search what? >> Yeah. Search what? >> Yeah. A female should have >> Yeah. Yes. >> Sadly for Valentina, there wasn't a legal requirement for a female officer to search her like she claimed. The officer tried to explain that to her, but she was still unwilling to listen. >> Well, thank you very much. Now, can you take your coat off for me? >> Yes, I could. And the female? >> No. Go ahead. I'm not going to search you right now. >> The female. >> I'm not going to search. Can you pick your coat for me? >> Female. Cuz if I'm getting >> I'm not searching you right now. Can you pick your code up for me right now? >> If I'm getting undressed. >> Nope. I just wanted you to take the code out. So, real quick, while we're standing here, I'm going to read this to you since you are under arrest. Okay, >> that's fine. >> Okay, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court. You should have stayed there when you arrest me. Too bad I don't hear you. Oh my god. Uh uh uh uh uh uh. Call your manager. It's not gonna happen, love. I know my right and y'all is not gonna play with me. Sorry. Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh. Y'all put them handcuffs on me. They tell me my right stand so I'm able to walk up out of here right now. Please don't play with me. Call your manager. Hello. >> Are you ready to act like a grown up? [screaming] >> Hello. Help. Help. >> Okay. So, you're going to be charged with DUI as well, >> baby. So ain't no D whack cuz you won't see me drinking >> based on your behaviors. You're going to need your leading me to believe when you put the handcuffs on. >> I didn't ask you any incriminating questions. >> So I'm reading your rights now. Are you willing to impossible love? >> She then came out with a surprising claim that she was trying to become a police officer. Sadly for her, it didn't make Valentina the legal expert she claimed to be since she clearly didn't know the law. How come I don't Did I ask you anything? I'm going to school right now. Question. What's your question? I'm going to school. >> No, I did not. >> Did you not see it on my record? I'm going to school right now. >> Doesn't show that I'm going to school right now. You clearly know nothing. Can you listen to what I'm trying to tell you when you put my handcuffs on? You did it. You waited till I got here. Ma'am, >> listen for a second. Ma'am, stop talking and listen for a second. I know. >> If you're going to school, I would probably drop out now cuz you're going to fail terribly if you think you know. >> I didn't yet. You're incredibly wrong. >> Stop in that class. >> So, do you want to know what class I'm going in? >> No, I don't. So, are you going to listen? >> You supposed to You supposed to um Miranda me. >> Miranda. You don't even know the word. There's no way you're top of the class. So, >> I know the word. I just can't pronounce it. >> There's not nothing that several words. There's several words. You supposed to. >> So, what we're going to do is um you can either you can either cooperate with this process or >> like cuz he wasn't wearing a white shirt. No, you can leave the code on the counter. I didn't tell you where you could put that. >> Okay. You can put me in the sale. >> No, I need you. I need you to listen. >> Ask him, do you supposed to take your necklace off? >> Your necklace. >> Jewelry. >> Your necklace. Not your [music] shirt. Your necklace. >> She maintained she wasn't drunk. So, the lead officer asked the woman to do some field sobriety tests, and she agreed. But first, they had to more thoroughly search her. So, they called for a female officer to come and do it. >> Just so you're aware, you're female officer coming back here to search you. Hold on. I wasn't done. I wasn't done. But just so you know, cuz they obviously didn't teach you this in whatever class you're in. It's not a requirement to have a female surge in. It's not a legal requirement. >> No male should. >> It's not Well, unfortunately, that's not a legal requirement. >> That's a requirement. No male should touch you. >> It's not a requirement. So, just so you're aware, >> we'll figure that out. >> Well, that's what it is. >> I get done with this. >> Yeah, but I'm coming. >> And I'm going to be on that, too. >> That's what it is. >> There you go. Right there. >> Can I go in here? >> No, not yet. We're having a female officer come and search you. >> Okay. >> Can you take the uh bandana out, too, please? Thank you. >> Any other jewelry or anything? >> No. No. Nothing. >> While they waited for the female officer, the lead officer asked her again if she'd been drinking, and she denied that she had, but she did say that she'd smoked some weed. She then agreed to do the breathalyzer. >> I never did this before. So I don't know like by so just all you got to do a lot of people like they sit their top in front of it or they don't like how like system blow [music] just bomb system blow into the thing until it quits and you'll be >> people put their mouth on them. >> Nope. Stick it on the plastic. >> Oh, okay. [music] >> You got this. There we go. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Don't suck. Just blow. Keep going. Keep going. Keep [music] going. Putting your tongue in front of it. >> No. You know, you know how when you blow up the balloon exactly what this >> So, did you see the bar that was up right there? >> You want that that bar to get like right here. A typical person that's blown up to get it to like right here. >> Okay. >> And you're only getting it to like right there. >> So, it's just a little tiny breath that's getting too. >> Keep going. Don't stop. There you go. Don't stop. Don't stop. So, [music] uh, now what this means is that technically since there's three tries, it would be a refused test. Would you want to try again? >> What? >> Yeah. So, it the machine only allows you three tries, but if you're willing to try again to show >> I will try because I will try. >> So, the machine shows it was an insufficient sample. So, it just means you weren't providing enough oxygen. Okay. So, would you like to try again? We could set the machine up again if you'd like. I'm I'm just going to do that. >> That's crazy. and I just did this all this time. I was willing to do it. So, I was just saying I denied it. >> The officer again explained to her that she hadn't provided enough breath in the machine. So, they again went over the procedure and Valentina got quiet and actually appeared to be listening. She then tried for a second time. >> Keep going. Keep going. There. >> You started strong, but then you're sucking in. You were right there. Don't suck in. Don't use your tongue. Don't suck in. Just keep blowing. There you go. Keep blowing. Keep blowing. Keep going. Okay. >> No, I didn't take it. >> Um, just sign this copy and I'll meet you with the others and then we'll sign this one too and get the one. >> Just to show that we get to >> like 12 times. I'll do it again. No, it it doesn't take people that many times. I've done this plenty of times with people where um you know, more three is plenty. Um six is definitely plenty. So, if you can't get it by six, >> he did six. >> She seemed eager to try for a third time, but the officer told her he had already been too lenient and didn't usually give people a second chance. They charged Valentina with traffic violations, driving under the influence, and obstruction. When carrying out their sworn duties, good cops always stay professional, but it's hard to keep a straight face sometimes because these so-called legal experts are just too ridiculous.
