violating probation stemming from a non-violent drug offense after Savannah police mistook him for another person his attorney highlights the lack of training leading to such errors echoing National concerns over police brutality against black individuals mumford's job and education are interrupted due to the incident According to some unofficial sources the cops involved during this encounter case come on Mo out move move T this is Deputy Charles Gillis from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office on October 18th 2017 around 2: p.m. Deputy Gillis accompanied by several other police off officers responded to a call from Nine West Apartments on GEOS 49 in milleville Georgia where the suspect had allegedly assaulted his mother while they approached the 18-year-old suspect Jamal Jackson the police claimed that he was resisting arrest but in response observed what Deputy Gillis did he's [Music] upstairs [Music] put your hands up man come on man we got move move t t oh my God what God deputies claimed that they intended to use a Taser instead of a gun in order to make Jamal Jackson cooperate with them however officer Gillis took out the wrong weapon and fired a shot at the Young suspect Jackson faced minor injuries and was fortunately marked safe from the encounter following treatment at a Mak Hospital Jackson was incarcerated on Tuesday for misdemeanor Family Violence and obstruction charges he was held at Wilkinson County Jail meanwhile Deputy Gillis a 9-year veteran of the Sheriff's Office was placed on administrative leave officer Gillis had reportedly apologized for his actions and labeled it as a mistake rather than a deliberate action if you think Deputy Gillis had committed the worst mistake ever wait until you watch this next case that's why you pull me traffic stop passing by Officer Vega seemed to hear it while he was standing on the sidewalks and immediately followed the driver asking him to pull over for those who don't know the First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the innocent driver's right to freedom of speech allowing them to express their opinion even if it involves using curse words without fear of retaliation from law enforcement however officer Vega's actions in following and pulling over the driver raise questions regarding potential infringement on this constitutional right watch how the encounter the reverend's daughter who allegedly did not return her 11-year-old child after a custodial visit however Reverend ruti asserted that the police arrived without any supporting paperwork following the
