on June 28th 2023 the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department was at the scene at the local Costco for a vehicle that was in question while on the premises of the business the following shows the bodyw warn camera footage of what happened during the incident yo hey my man what's going on oh what's up bro oh my God you good uh no right not really bro what what what did you use what I use did you drink you use what's what up you're not in trouble bro I'm here to make sure you're good medically you what and go home did you drink or what did you use today what alcohol of course a little too much I don't know that you don't know about that you realize what you did on the side of the car right you threw up and [ __ ] I know you did both I [ __ ] I threw up maybe look look to your left outside the car there's a pile of [ __ ] on the floor my man oh yeah where'd you come from on where's that where were you coming from tonight listen I told you you're not in trouble I'm here to make sure you're good medically I don't care if you drove but where where were you at I was here at Costco Lantana yes I not drive anywhere you're not in Lantana there's more than one I know where you live you live in Lantana or what's up I live in West Palm West Palm okay is that where you were at tonight do you know where you're at right now hopefully that no my man where am I you're in paly's gardens yeah bro like I said you're not in trouble but you're passed out here in the parking lot someone call it on you so I'm here to make sure you're good I got rescue coming to check you out make sure you're good cuz I can't let you just walk away from here if if [Music] you're up and took a [ __ ] on the side of the like see no I didn't see it it's just there these things she's in Lantana what's your first name man Emanuel all right Emanuel these guys are going to check you out can you step out for them but we're going to have to get you out my man we got to get your help what I'm just run I I understand that you're behind the wheel of a car here no that's not how it's going to work my man I I mean I'm just trying to make sure I can see what's going on no I don't want to get no I already told you that's not happening right now I told you you're getting medical attention you're [ __ ] up you've said it you've said it yourself that's why we're getting you medically checked out IIT we didn't didn't say that I said you're getting checked out I said let them check your vitals the ambulance is right here bro if I'm talking you why you Che my vital I'm talking because I'm not a medical professional Emanuel I don't know that you were soaked in sweat you [ __ ] on the side of your car you're throwing up I can do that I'm Sor bro you're you're in public that is so I'm just looking out for your best interest you got to go sit over there get some Vital Signs done I have to we're kind of at the point where we we got to do that we have to do that because just looking at you you're sweating head to toe you vomited in front of me there's poop on the ground from you you already told me already told you told me that 2 minutes ago it's in your car it's on your pants so you either going to arrest me all these police officers have body cameras on them so everything is being recorded I that I am establishing that with you so therefore I know what is going on you could leave me here or arrest me I'm not going to [ __ ] bom's Gardens Medical Hospital for your medical attention you want me to do where's the law right now where's the supervisor I am on the side of a [ __ ] road like what else I'm not worried about this [ __ ] toxicity L as long as they get everything cleared and they don't have to take them we can do it can arrest you guys don't need anything on your end you're good I mean handcuff in my stretcher I get whatever I want I can take him to the hospital I mean to me he's essentially he's already on his body camera saying he should face Dr yeah he just you want to do the one yeah I'll do the one he's going to refuse everything obviously so as long as as as as long as you you guys are done we'll we'll take over the scene I mean if you guys just arrest them I'll take them to the hospital well we have to do our investigation it's he's not under arrest right now okay I just need to know if you guys are done with your medical portion you turn it over back to PD call my boss then call then call your boss cuz we're going to make sure that everything is is checked over I want to do it the right way too absolutely I got watch right now we turn this over to you to check on the welfare of him yeah no I get it complet if he doesn't want your if he doesn't want medical attention and it's okay by your guys' policy then we will take back over the scene and investigate a criminal aspect so he doesn't want medical attention but he doesn't really have a medical right because he already told me he's drunk so any person has one I decision people make conscious and unconscious decisions intoxicated all the time he obviously made a conscious decision to drive ta officer officer off Officer James love it how long you been on Department ah man probably a couple years almost a couple years bro God damn do you want to talk over here away from this no I'm fine right here if you're uncomfortable you can walk away I'm just I'm just trying to make sure everybody's cool here are you really yeah Mr love no offense you seem like the type of guy they took advantage of me like 5 years ago from Palm Beach Gardens so therefore well I didn't work for Palm Beach Gardens 5 years ago so I don't think I did that them now okay so if you guys want to do this the right way and [ __ ] force me out of my vehicle cuz you assume that I'm intoxicated please go right ahead we're not doing this this time that way okay some love it so we're we're at a fork in a row right now so come on what do you guys we're waiting for EMS to figure out what they're doing yeah obviously I'm waiting for the same thing you're not taking my vitals I'm refusing any medical attention I want your supervisor and I want whoever is in charge of the pom me rescue fire department the lieutenant or the [ __ ] Captain whoever is to come out here but I am not going anywhere I am not acknowledging any of my rights to go anywhere so you're your really taking me without my against my force does that make any sense to you not really it it doesn't really make okay you're going to have to kidnap me out of my car or arrest me to get out of my car right now okay there you go that's the for in a row so if you think I'm that [ __ ] up and I'm that stupid go right ahead yeah we're pull up yeah we'll pull up you guys he want our supervisor here you think we should get one of them but I need a supervisor out here please we'll get you one I'll get you one for favor is there you want my supervisor I want want Sergeant I want to he honcho who who's the sergeant on on got three sergeants oh boy I get to choose who do you recommend sir I honestly none of them oh my god well there we go we're I would recommend any of them I did not ask you sir okay but my Emanuel listen I'm going to I'm going to lay everything out okay I'll get you the supervisor I'm not denying that okay listen all then stop can you have the supervisor lay out I I the supervisor you think I'm that [ __ ] up I need a supervisor the smart one one tart to come out here and listen obviously rule his [ __ ] the supervisor wasn't here I am on the side of [ __ ] road what else it doesn't matter it doesn't matter you're still matter sir it doesn't matter you can be behind the wheel even with the car off okay well then what do you want me to do make it easier for you to arrest me for no reason no you know [ __ ] there is a reason bro listen my car stop that doesn't matter it could be off do you not know the law in the State of Florida obviously I know the law that's why I'm [ __ ] sitting here sleeping yeah okay so you haven't you have hold on hold on hold on me out of here you want me to that's the point they would take you to the hospital it's that much it's that I don't need to go you obviously you know I don't need to go to the hospital what do you want me to go to the hospital for because of your intoxication I don't think you understand what the easy route is man bro I'm not going to go to be arrested for [ __ ] I'm park in my car off it doesn't matter you're behind the wheel doesn't matter it doesn't matter everything goes away right it could oh yeah come out here with us no yeah you got to come out come you have to come out you force me out all right hang I'm going to get out all right come on my come on step out I'm getting out step out right now bring your feet out second I'm trying to bring your feet out he just told me I was drunk let me balance myself right there you go we're helping you don't I don't need help I don't need help I'm capable Str have a seat I'm inreasing your medical assist it's not your choice at this point do bring your feet up you're not mentally competent enough to make a decision for yourself based on your intoxication level oh according to who everyone here are you guys [ __ ] doctor no I'm not why oh you guys are dicks bro thank you you guys just fing to be [ __ ] super dicks for no reason yeah yeah cuz we're drunk and [ __ ] ourselves and threw up in a but you want you want you want to force me to go to the [ __ ] hospital for what reason where where are your keys at bro man you you tell me you tell me it's your car can you just close my door yeah I'm going to lock your car for you no you just closed it you don't Lo no I'm going to lock it I don't know God damn 2 3 if you don't need K you can do one you don't need K you can do it one I'm trying to avoid this slap some Cs on them and detain yes no I'm saying if he doesn't we're good I am talking to you you're a [ __ ] firan with glass okay that is the one word you guys going to sit on the one you guys up out of everything I spoke to you guys about out of the three [ __ ] paramedics and the three [ __ ] firefighter and the [ __ ] supervisor I request now what we got to go to G and what supervisor's on the way can you close my door please I'm going to lock everything up for you can I see it I'm not closing it right now what the [ __ ] you are taking me against my will you understand that right mustache correct correct and it sucks shave the [ __ ] up bro n absolutely not all suspects are innocent until proven guilty thank you for watching
