unlawful and forceful arrest of a citizen identified as Clarence Gailard by former public safety officer David Lance Dukes David apprehended Clarence on the suspicion that he was in possession of a gun however the manner in which he carried out his duties was utterly unprofessional as he slammed the innocent civilian face onto the concrete ground it was later revealed that Clarence was not in possession of a gun instead a metal rod tool was found under a vehicle here's how the situation unfolded H you got a gun on you man no I ain't got no gun no gun turn back over PA you watching site I 37-year-old Robert bareno initiated the traffic stop on August 20th 2020 near the 900 block of North pal Meadow Street in Somerville the stop was part of a narcotic surveillance operation during which bareno apprehended a black Citizen in his vehicle and began ordering him out without explaining the reason for the stop when the suspect refused to exit the vehicle bareno forcefully pulled him out and proceeded to punch him in the face resulting in a cut below the suspect's eye behind your back what's going on why you punch me in my face I don't know what's going on anybody else face who P me attempted to leave the store with less than $14 worth of items the on duty Loveland officer then handled the situation in a totally unprofessional way slamming the woman to the ground and using approaching Mr Roberts who repeatedly asks Sergeant Morris not to come close to him and directs a profanity at him this causes Sergeant Morris to tackle Mr Roberts to the ground and arrest him for resisting as Mr Roberts pulled away Mr Roberts explained that he did so because he believed Sergeant Morris had no right to arrest him following this arrest the Florence County Sheriff's Office
