like Palm Coast Florida where back in October 2023 police were called for a shoplifter apparently a woman left a Walgreens store with a shopping cart full of items however she never paid for any of them we join an officer as he approaches the suspect and this officer means business please hey Sheriff just put your hands behind your back put your hands behind your back hey hey hey stop stop let me go stop stop listen relax okay relax no it ain't over it it is over it is over you just stole from from Walgreens what I steal from nobody what are you thinking I didn't steal from no yeah you did you got a whole shopping cart I'm going to pay for it okay we'll go back and pay for it what I need you to do no what I need you to do is you're going to go and handcuff hey you ain't going to start Jennifer Sheffield reportedly she'd been very aggressive to the Walgreens staff and had even tried to enter a vehicle in the parking lot after stealing the goods Walgreens later decided not to press charges for retail theft their only request was that she be trespassed from the business the cops however did charge her with resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer but first they wanted to check up on her hey Jennifer how you feeling you okay you calm down a little bit I'm sorry that everything happened the way that it did you understand why we had to do what we did to protect ourselves and protect you I didn't want to see you get hurt and I didn't want to get hurt you know do you have any pains right now yeah are Hur bad they're hurting you pretty bad what didn't expect much fuss from the driver 80-year-old Glenarden rert but boy were they in for a surprise hello what's wrong are you okay yeah I'm fine what is going okay I can't see like all these felony aggravated battery to a police officer and misdemeanor charges including driving Under the Influence reckless driving battery and resisting she ended up being placed under a 12-month Court supervision once the supervision ended all charges against her were dismissed but I bet it was one of those nights that none of the cops involved will ever forget with each new video we always strive see some action and action apparently happened on September 30th 2023 in Flagler County Florida cops were called out to the scene of a hidden run crash that took place in Palm Coast Florida to to their surprise the suspect was not what they expected it was a 76-year-old lady named Cheryl Henderson but what's even Stranger than her old age is what exactly she had done what's going on here he stood in front of my car and he said you want to go ahead and repeat what you told me to this Deputy here okay I was in the I was behind him and I had my blinker on and then he decided he was going to pass me I was I there was another land to turn and then I was in the the one to the right of it and then he jumped on the hood of my car and he says I'm going to sue you my car is 91,000 I don't care what kind of car and what it cost I was getting to zero miles where did you hit another car I didn't hit him he hit me there was an accident somewhere someone that was the accident where he hit me with what Bel ha and uh with that what says gas uh on cypess point on Cypress the Circle K or yeah that's that's what it is so you you were you were about you were behind them or in front of them did he get your ID I guess no I'm trying to think okay while she's trying to think let me tell you what really happened this granny hit another man's car he tried to block her with his vehicle but when he stepped out she sped up at that point he had to jump on the hood of her car so she wouldn't run him over then she sped up to around 50 mph before another witness to the whole thing forced her off the road and made her stop with the man still hanging from the hood of her car I bet he'll never forget this day for the rest of his life and our grandma she doesn't even know what really happened I I I was in I forgot I I don't know where the hell I was I guess take a second just try to remember cuz that's how I'm going to be able to do my job oh I want you to do your job I used to do your job probably before you were born oh anyway okay I I'm here okay I guess he he was in the left lane he was wanted to go in the right L he hit me tapped me and then he jumped on the hood of my car you were trying to go past him well no I got no gas I was going into the gas station I I'm going to pick my keys up let me just show you that's fine I believe your gas zero miles to to Fu okay so but what I'm trying to get is you were both on the road at some point correct absolutely and he would he wouldn't even let me police car went but he wouldn't even let me stop the car he's I'm going on the hood of your car you drive I'm going to say you hit me that's exactly you were probably here right and he was here I I guess he was there I just got out of the freaking hospital for this the funny thing about this incident was that it was all just a small bump between two cars it's something that could have easily been sorted out on the spot yet somehow it escalated to something far more serious regard regardless of who's to blame for the initial incident one important question remains unanswered and this officer is about to ask it did did you jump on your hooded car right here right no on Cypress Point on but right there yeah right there is there a reason why you kept driving and just stop he wouldn't he jumped on the he says I'm I'm going on the hood of you car he says my car is $91,000 you got a piece of made you think to continue driving I was getting off was going to get off the gas station was there I want there was a lot of traffic I just wanted to get off there was a lot you know how you know how far you drove with this guy on the hood of your car I begged him to get off the hood of my why didn't you stop the traffic all you had to do is put your foot on the brake and stop you could have killed this man with him on the hood of your car for almost probably over a mile can I tell you something can you don't jump on someone's car in the middle of traffic and make up a lot and make a fly like he's making up okay so this granny is obviously entitled enough to think she should be teaching people a lesson in good manners by driving for over a mile with them dangling off the hood of her car well that's an interesting approach it's worth some jail time for sure but still an interesting way to handle things jokes aside I think the granny just panicked and put the pedal to the metal without thinking it through do you agree let's see what the victim had to say yeah just away from her watch out her hands I guess yeah I was uh I was going straight she was in this Lane she I didn't see her my wife yell at me she turned here hit the front of my truck and then she kept going so I went around her got in front of her to stop her I walked up to her she had her window down she said I I'm going to get gas I said well you need to stay right here till the police get here and uh she said no I'm going to get gas and she kept trying to get around me and get around me so I got in front of the car she's trying to run me over and then she just guned so I grabbed the hood she had to be doing 50 60 MPH through here I told her you got to stop I'm going to fall off and she said that's your problem so I mean I don't want to be mean to her but yeah but she needed to stay where it was at you know of course um imagine almost getting killed by an old lady for something you didn't even do I bet that it wasn't the way this guy imagined his day would go when he woke up that morning but hey he lived to tell the tale and got off with just a couple of bruises now I bet you wish you could have seen the action play out well lucky for you the hidden files are up to the task get ready for some action whoa she was flying what if he'd fallen off there's no way he would have survived that this is even more serious than I thought it was and the granny deserves to be arrested by the look of it it's clear that she cut off the pickup and slammed into it but what she did after that is is really crazy and if I was that guy I definitely would want her to go to jail let's see if he feels the same yes it's going to be hot but so based on everything we got obviously as far as the crash goes she's going to be labeled as a victim one based on St sh stage from everyone else goes on seeing okay which means she's at fall okay as far as the rest of it are you willing to pursue charges on her leaving the scene of the accident no I don't want I don't want to do anything are you willing to pursue charges for aggravated battery which would be with the vehicle I really don't want to get her in any trouble but you know so you don't want to P your charges that's completely up to you long as she'll take care of my truck like I said as far as the crash goes does she have insurance yeah she's got an insurance she's got that stuff so my partner is up there working on the crash report side of it which is basically again like I said it's going to put her at fault so if you're going to go through Insurance you contact your insurance you give them the case number there'll be a crash report done basically this guy is a decent human being I'm not sure I would be as calm and collected if a granny just tried to kill me by running me over so kudos to that guy for being such a nice fella however the cops then explained the gravity of the situation and what could be the possible consequences so those those those are crimes if you don't want to pursue I'm going to have you sign this but if you do want to pursue well there's two parts of this one you do want to pursue one you don't want to pursue so that's up to you I mean I understand that she took you on ride on a car you could have easily fell off the car I was falling off I was trying to get her to stop she you could have very easily been dead and uh somebody else in the future might have okay I'll press charge okay I can't tell you what to do I understand I understand I just feel bad for her but be honest with you I don't could have killed you could have Ked someone else I have no no empathy for someone who asks that okay so this is do not want to pursue you said you do want to pursue yes sir so just go ahead and just print your name for me right here and then sign it for me right there now that all the paperwork is over it's time for the arrest I just wonder how our granny will react she mentioned she used to be a cop so she probably knows what's coming for her let's see what she does I mean right after they deal with the ants all right you want to put these shoes on for me real quick where are battery for driving with that man on the hood of your car he jumped on the the car face the car I'm sorry face the car hold on no bra or undershirt or anything like that no man like no necklaces no aggravated battery with a deadly weapon she was taken to the sheriff perryi Hall inmate detention facility but was later released on a $20,000 Bond luckily she had a good sense of humor where's your phone at ma'am is it in your car I don't have the phone I just went to pick up my Chinese food which I'll never read again okay well we're going to bring your wallet and that's going to be you can come to my house I want you to tell my house we're not going there right now I'm guessing that like me you are also wondering what her husband had to say about all this but let's leave that to the imagination and hop on over to our gymnastic Grandma our next case happened for a surprising reason a police vehicle was parked on the side of the road when an SUV passed it right then another vehicle pulled over and the driver told the officers that the SUV driver must be drunk as he was driving erratically the officers in engaged in Pursuit only to find out that the driver was an elderly woman Watch What Happens [Music] Next hi I'm sorry hi you told me to keep going no I just want you to stay right here can I see your license please ma'am sorry what are you sorry for oh the dog oh that's okay I got three dogs myself where you coming from ma'am huh where you coming from in wakanda oh wakanda 911 911 wakanda yeah Shar okay ma'am do you have a driver's license or just the ID card um I honestly don't have my reading license no I asked you about your driver's license no you don't have a driver's license is it revoked it's revoked it's being fixed it's being fixed but it's revoked okay all right so you got a handcuff me and put my dog and Don well here take this first okay wow right off the bat this is promising to be an interesting one when she said wakanda I almost peed my pants she's obviously trashed and can barely speak but I can't wait to hear what she says next so I'm okay I'm going to ask you another question ma'am can I put it in t that's a driver yeah that's sense and the cop isn't buying it what's going to happen is I'm going to run you through some sobriety tests okay I want to make sure that do not get back in the car no I wasn't stay right there what are you doing I was just going to turn around I really have to go I don't care I'm this is we're doing this right now okay so you're going to have to hold it do you have toilet paper what's your driver's license revoked for what's it I went to go get a pack of cigarettes what's your what's your driver's license revoked for you want honesty yes that goes a long way yeah yeah do why cuz I went to go get a pack of cigarettes because okay the guy I was with he took my cigarettes and I was being little Mis stubborn mhm it sounds to me like the cop is losing his patience a little and our grandma is about to swing on his nerves some more explaining her accident like they and bust me for no reason I didn't hear what town was it in but because I have a broken tibia amphibia and I have
