on September 2nd 2022 Walmart's Asset Protection Team and deputies observed a mom and daughter switching price tags on various items through self checkout tracking so far she's not scanning or under scanning or so has she scammed everything at this point or some might well not scam some were not scammed correct some of them W scam okay so we're going to let her walk out the front door and you you and like I said I try to look away when she does it I saw she got pink for but she told me it was going to be to the price tag she got tape yeah okay did she bring the tape with her or did she did she get a tape from here I don't know I think it was from here though okay and and what was the purpose of using the tape to tape the clearance okay was it Yellow Tape red tape clear tape clear clear tape okay and you aware of the purpose of using the clear tape you you're aware okay so you understand why she was using the clear tape I just don't I don't say anything CU she's my mom and I know she struggles and I know it's wrong it just okay did you at all physically help her whether it's peeling off a piece of tape and and handing her that piece of tape so that way she could take that tape and put on the bar code or did did you assist with peeling off an old no not with that I she asked me to go get her tape but then by the time I got back she already had tape okay I did go get her tape but then she didn't even need it I actually put it back over there okay by the register okay and prior to coming here did you know what your mom was going to do yeah I don't really ever know like I said sometimes she just does it occasionally okay does she does she say a a code word does she give you a hint or she just decides spur the moment I'm going to do X okay hey how we doing um have you ever been arrested before no have you gotten in trouble before one time in New Jersey for being out past curfew but no not in trouble how long have you been to Florida three or four years okay so nothing you got the bank robbers and you have the actual robbers themselves and they run out to the car and the drivers knows what's going on he takes off right that's the getaway driver that driver was aware of what was taking place inside the bank even though that even though the driver did not hold up the bank did not carry the gun did not grab the money did not do anything in that bank the driver was still charged with bank robber or whatever happened right okay okay so it's basically sponsored by association or that you're you're the principal so so if law enforcement can prove that you were aware and you had knowledge of said crime you can be charged with that crime I didn't know that okay so that's why I'm asking you these series of questions if you understood what your mom was doing
