on October 14th 2023 officers were called to the airport regarding a man who was physically abusing his girlfriend before boarding and the duration of the flight multiple Witnesses on the flight stated that the man was extremely belligerent towards her to the point where he took off his watch and threw it at her here's what some of the witnesses [Music] said how was your flight good what happened so we OB him even before boarded in the jet wi they had pulled him to the side was being belligerent towards her at that point in Mexico yes okay lug they were second luggage okay I don't know so he was seated directly behind us she had her face in the window just in tears [ __ ] her face the window the window slam the window and scrap it across face mhm one of the other guys said kept hitting on a knee I don't know that M was there physical at some point did you witness that to me here's where it got physical to me it wasn't you know a Full Assault but he would get in their face and hold their face and just wh her ear okay okay so once he was was grabbing her bringing her okay once we confronted him uhhuh we get as a church M he was talking loud to begin with it's fine uhhuh but once we confronted him he got quiet once to sleep okay once he woke up what how do you confront him like what do you tell him well the flight attendants and two or three other guys came and said look you going to have to move or let her go somewhere else and we're not going nowhere her and asked her she she's terrified can I ID so um once you woke up that's when he got to whisper in and pull in pull in her clothes and Whispering so what do you guys wi this we were behind them we actually so you guys were in front of them you guys behind them one that was next to what you saw and I was directly behind him he was to my right the other gentleman was to our left um so when I saw they saw he was in the woman's face and then we stood up to kind of keep an eye on her and when they were sit right yeah correct and then he took his watch off and threw his watch at her and then he was all her face and then you could see she was clearly so when when he threw his sash out when he hit her he went address him what he where he threw at though he threw it at he threw it at so he hit him he hit her with the watch yes okay where you know it was at at the lower body and um the other gentleman um he saw the um individual hit the woman in the leg several times I I didn't see it but the other guy next to us he saw and he was to the can you point it can you point it my sister I did not see the watch but I did see him backhand her in the arm and I also when they had got up to go to the flight attendance she was pushed against the window and he was obviously making her very uncomfortable and then went grabs in for a kiss and she the whole time is doing this Tears In Her Eyes intoxicated I was the one that was set right behind her as soon as we got onto the boat plane her forehead was against the window the entire time trying to avoid him well there's been there's probably three or four times he slipper whole the entire time working outside well there's that lip you know close the he slam it and go straight down her face while her forehead was on it okay multiple times tried to grab her hair pull her hair back close the window all sorts that's what I said sir can you please stop man' you I was right behind her right behind I was right behind yeah we got a little cold in here I was about being earlier I couldn't hear the I thought I heard see you next Tuesday St I ever been on so then they caught my ear dri what what time did this happen when at the beginning the beginning of the flight I mean this is really majority of the entire entirety of the flight besides maybe the last 40 minutes fell asleep after you guys stood there yeah right the first before we boarded when we first Ed the jet W they were off to the side and having problems before weed s just about to say that at the airport in Mexico her suitcase like I guess got selected to be like rechecked or whatever and so I saw him like At first come in and he's like oh hey whatever and the the gate workers they were like you're weird like get out of my face you're having too much fun so he kind of stepped to the side they were checking her stuff and I was in the back of the line so I like didn't hear anything but I could physically see him yelling at the gate workers and at his wife like he just looked super pissed and like really upset that her suitcase just happened to get searched again but it caught my eye even from far away I was like why is this guy like you could tell he was like hands and like yelling yeah and I was at the airport in Mexico before we got on the plane so he was already pissed and I asked her if she wanted to switch spots with me she said no it's just going to make things worse I said he just drunk she goes a drink a lot this happens a good bit but you know she appeared to be intoxicated I no she seemed fine she she was just more scared just scared I mean but the amount of times he was hitting her in the ribs jabing her hitting her in the leg pulling on her hair just slamming the the window on her face cuz I mean you know you have that lip you pull it down go straight down her face I almost lost my cool but I wouldn't want I didn't want to be the one standing over there I don't I don't do that [ __ ] no it don't trans woman that's but it happened way too he went to the bathroom I ma' what do you need me to do cuz I was telling this man say that he did assault her they yes that they saw some physical contact with with the wax and the window L okay and it was intentional and her I I spoke to her side is that when they were getting on the plane he was drinking tequila in Mexico and she was drunk and they started getting into a fight that basically she was was well verbal about H drinking too much tequila and when uh he reached over and slammed the shade I said did he contact you did he get physical did he strike you at any point she she keeps saying no and like I said I prer into like a well in area and just not not even scratch on the face yeah how's his actions he's he's he's saying he doesn't remember anything he said he was drinking he's admitting to drinking in in Mexico that he was really drunk um but now he's like he's too like he's so you know um he's with it he's just like keep saying I'm compl completely embarass that we going through this um any odor of alcohol very faint cuz my deal is is he still danger to someone else yeah you know I don't need him falling over this and that because we've had in two two independent Witnesses yeah and that's the deal yeah especially cuz they are still catching a different flight that that probably tomorrow they're flying yeah they're staying in airport one of the airport um hotels or something near the woman is saying that they're not going to take a taxi that is something in their property that's what I'm talking but they're not going to take a taxi she's asking me like he's going to get rested what's going on so I'm sorry I'm just waiting for I haven't spoken with him and we don't need him falling over anything like that just with his assault of history on the flight if he's still smelling alcohol I think we need to keep him separated and to prevent any further violence we just take him in for pi so thank and uh so they're both going to be banned right yeah both of them yeah cuz we cannot prent her and then yeah if he if drink can think it was that though so I mean here here's the deal he I was your kid he he hit you um how you doing if you're were my kid that would be the end of it but like I said I mean just because he didn't black your eye out and stuff like that I've been a cop for literally 20 years I just hit my 20th year and before I came here I was a city cop for literally 17 years so I've seen tons of domestic violence cases OB we don't get many here at the airport cuz it's an airport but in the city I mean literally daily tons of them and the thing is it starts this level and it continues to grow because you stay in this vicious cycle you're willing to stay in it and stick up for him and that's the thing is um you know I I don't and a lot of times women will do it for various reasons sometimes it's Financial sometimes it's just they want to have a partnership sometimes people just can't be alone I I don't know your situation but only you do but that's where you have to have a tough conversation with yourself and see if this is something you want to stay with because if he hits you now it doesn't stop now can it stop vin with proper accounts and stuff I'm sure but until it's addressed until Al is dressed um it's not going to stop and that's the thing is at what time does it become acceptable to you do you have any kids okay and what is a daughter or I have a son he's five okay and so what if you with his dad right now yeah so what if you had a daughter I mean do you think it's acceptable just because he shoved your face through a watch at you it's not but you're willing to take it but you would tell somebody else that's not acceptable or if it was your own kid you you You' probably kill the guy right that's the thing but here you are taking it and that's the thing I deep down in my heart I I know you know what happened and it did happen cuz all these independent Witnesses who don't know you don't know him wouldn't have stood up for you you know and that's the thing is you I'm not here to preach to you how old are you 30 30 31 31 for so here go you're a grown adult you're smart you got to make that decision decide what you want to do and the thing is there's resources out there to help you and you got to realize that that there are tons of resources that are free to help you and whether needs to get you back I'm Human Services I should know yeah and that's the thing it's U at what point does it need to end is it when you're disable is it when it kills you I mean I hope we'll never get to that point but I'm telling you I've seen it over and over and over just that's a thing that's the norm but you weren't raised with that so to me that's an expectation that you would never put your hands on a on a lady and but for you it's like it's acceptable that's in the mirror and reflect about life and see this lifestyle you want I mean is it legit me the first time he hit you huh he's never hit you before but what sparked him off on the airplane yeah I mean like what what tripped him what pissed him off to him oh okay you were just upset cuz he was wrong okay what do you do throw watch it that was yeah that was lot that was like sticky point for all oh when they saw him do that yeah they they heard it he was just like it this is a selford right huh we're just talking and I mean why are you so protective of it that's my question are you talking about
