question. What you're doing is insulting Maya. >> No, we're not. I'm a scientist. >> Why are you going to go take me to jail? Ale, please. Please, please, please. >> You don't like when someone approaches you aggressively, do you? >> So, how do you think she feels? Look how close you are to her car right now. Road rage turns ordinary drives into dangerous confrontations, but some drivers think intimidation and aggression will get them what they want. However, their entitlement and ego never go far when road raging bullies get shut down by nononsense cops. >> That is a threat. I'm going to call police because you hit my car. And then if I'm telling you, sir, I did not hit your car. Yes, you did. That is a threat. On July the 20th, 2025, the cops were dispatched to a parking lot. Reportedly, there was a heated dispute over a collision between vehicles. Apparently, a young woman grazed a man's vehicle and then tried to claim she wasn't the driver. >> Got into a car accident with his car and another car and I swiftly moved. So, I braced his car, but he got the threat and time out. You need to do something about it. Whatever. I I was mad. So overall, I told this uh moral of the story, you said I sideswiped her car. I didn't try to crash into you in another car. He was like, "Well, I'm going to call the police right now." I said, "You're calling the police for nothing because if you seen what I did, I almost smacked into you and another car." So my little bracess of me bumping your car, that was just about the do my brother put off >> right here. Sir, >> so that's what inter I'm like, "You're calling the police for something that you seen?" I'm like, "You're calling the police. If you call the police, I'm going to mess up his car. >> She hits my car. >> Yeah. Let's do this. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> I didn't hit your car. >> Look at my >> The man was furious, saying the woman had seriously damaged his car. Furthermore, he explained to the officer that several bystanders had witnessed the incident and would happily back him up. To get to the bottom of things, the officer separated the parties and continued their investigation. >> Well, you said you hit her. No, I didn't hit I uh so what so what I did was I >> there's damage right there. >> That's the thing because I bumped him in another car. I didn't hit him. I stopped at abruptly at the time. >> You just said you bumped them. >> I right bump. Our cars were side by side. So then he followed me into the guy gas station and I said I didn't mean to try to brush you. I almost smacked into the other car. He told No, you just hit me. You just hit me. I said no. >> I didn't mean to hit you. >> We was too close. >> It's an accident. You're turning in the same. If we're turning from right here, >> where were you guys >> turning from? Right there. The light. >> You were turning at the light. >> Yes. And I And I was trying to race behind him in another mini van that look like that right there. >> Okay. >> That lane right there. >> The turning lane. >> The turning lane >> coming down this way. >> What the woman didn't seem to understand was that it didn't matter whether or not she meant to do it. She was responsible for the damage. Whether it was intentional or not. >> It's an accident. Unfortunately, >> it's not an accident because he was speeding up as I was going up and my turn signal was off. Yeah, but we bracing each other. >> Your car made contact with his car, right? >> His car made contact with my car as I'm getting over in the lane. And that's how we braced each other here. So then when I zoomed in here, >> his car, whatever. His car made contact with your car. Your car made contact with his car. It's the same. It's an accident. So with that being said, do you have your driver's license? And where's the vehicle that was? >> Where's the vehicle? Cuz obviously was involved in a car accident. I need I need it here. >> I don't have nothing for you. Literally the only thing I got is that he rushed me. It's not even my >> At that point, where the woman's car was was still a mystery, but the cops would eventually get to it. Next, they spoke to the man whose vehicle was damaged. Unsurprisingly, his version of events was entirely different. >> Man, I don't know what >> I we come. >> Explain yourself. Yep. >> I'm I just crossed and I just crossed K. >> Okay. Yeah. Something in the left lane just going straight. All of a sudden it's it's traffic is weaving in and out of traffic. She weaves into my lane and satisf >> Were you in the middle lane? >> No. No. I was in the I was in the left lane. I knew I was going to get over. I was going to the flea market. >> Flea market. I got you. >> I was in the left lane just heading >> heading Yeah. westbound >> about maybe a half a mile a mile coming this way >> like what the >> I just pass just got past the bite out and I can see the corner so I was in my lane I said okay so about a half a mile up I know it swerves in front of me and hit and hits my car >> I yeah I literally see that >> the man said that after he was sideswiped the woman continued driving as if she was trying to get way. She pulled into the parking lot and circled around a bit, but he managed to block the woman in and confront her. >> He gets out, she gets out. >> He gets out of the driver's seat. >> I took a picture of him. She She was >> She said that she was the initial driver. >> She was driving. >> Well, she's saying that the other guy was driving that she was >> No, no, no, no, no, >> no. She was driving. >> She was driving. This guy was with him. >> Okay. >> You see what I'm saying? >> Yeah. She was driving when they hit my car. >> She was okay. >> You see what I'm saying? So when I pulled up in front of them, she gets out and I'm like, "You hit my car. If you call the police, I'm going your car up some more." >> Okay. To really give you a reason to call the police. I said, "If you touch my car, I'm whoop your >> I mean, [laughter] you know what I mean? She came she came at you, >> right? So she came at me. Then the guy the young man was like, "Just take my number then. I can fix that for you. Don't worry about that, man. Just don't call the police. I said, "What am I supposed to do? You got this young lady threatening." So then he was like, "I'm gone." He gets in the car and that's why I took a picture of him in the car. >> Yeah. What car is it? >> This this Burgundy uh caravan. >> [ __ ] minivan. >> Minivan. >> The man also told the officer that the woman didn't have license plates. And he also told the officer that while he was trying to get pictures of her vehicle, she continued making threats towards him and then her accomplice drove off. Thankfully though, there were lots of security cameras around >> because you're being charged with a disorderly >> a disorderly. >> Yes. Disord requires a ticket or I have to go to a market. >> Yeah. Or you'd be going to Bridgew. Okay. >> And how is that how is that a disorder? because you threatened to damage his vehicle, >> but I didn't touch his vehicle and he threatened me first. He threatened to call the police on me without having validation. Then when I said, "If you call the police on me for lying, >> you are aware that you were in an accident." Okay. >> I wasn't aware. I literally just told you. He woke me up when he braced his car. We switched. I wasn't aware of anything until he started following us and we came in the gas station. Then he told me, "You just hit my car. You just I didn't hit anything." >> You guys change spots out of life, right? >> Yes. >> It don't matter where we change spots at. He changed spots yet. But it it does >> cuz he woke me up out of my sleep yesterday. >> It does matter where it h where you guys switched at. >> I didn't hit anybody though. That's what I'm explaining to you. >> Where did you guys switch? You guys switched at a traffic light, right? >> And in traffic. >> Okay. >> The woman's claim was absurd. Why would anyone switch drivers like that? Climbing from the passenger seat to the driver's seat in the middle of heavy traffic. It just didn't make sense. Obviously, she was trying to cover up the accident she'd caused. Well, either way, you're threatening to damage his property. He threatened me firstly. Like I said, if I would call you threaten threaten somebody with calling >> I'm going to call the police. That is a threat. I'm going to call police because you hit my car and then if I'm telling you, sir, I did not hit your car. Yes, you did. That is a threat. You're telling me I did something that I did not do. >> That But that's not a threat. >> That is a threat. Threatening me with law enforcement and then me saying if you're going to call and lie on me and that is a threat. >> That is not a threat. >> Okay. Well, I would like to make a a report, too, because that is a threat. That's what was said. That's why I said what I said. And then I'm on video. It'll all be under the same report number. Okay. >> I'm walking on. I didn't touch his car. Regardless of what I was saying, he was saying what he wanted to say in the middle of the walkway as well. I can say what I want to say. It's pretty much speech. >> The officer here was absolutely right. Calling police because someone strikes your vehicle isn't a threat. It's actually protocol based on what the man said. And given that surveillance footage and the witness statements would back up what he said, it was pretty clear at this point that the woman was in the wrong. >> Please listen. Please listen. We're not charging you with a threat, okay? We're charging you with a disorderly conduct for making the threat. >> He made a threat, too. >> Calling the police in the matter of an accident, which which you know that you're involved in, right? You know that you're involved in. And you got left behind. I said, >> "But you got left, don't call the police on me to destroy his car >> for something that I didn't do." He then started talking to my brother and he's like, "Bro, ma'am, >> calling the police is not a threat." >> I said, "You calling that is a threat. >> That is not a threat. >> It is a threat. IF YOU SAYING I'M GOING TO JAIL RIGHT NOW FOR HITTING your car and I'm telling you I didn't do it, that is a threat." >> Okay. Like I said, this is a citation in order to appear. Like I said, not an admission of guilt. It just means that you promise to show up to your court date. Okay? That's it. I need you to sign this line right here. Okay, as of right now, you are good to go. Okay. Okay. Next time you're with your brother and you get involved in an accident, stop. Don't keep driving. Stop. >> They cited the woman for disorderly conduct, and she was released at the scene. It might have been a slap on the wrist, but at least she didn't pull a gun out and start shooting like our next suspect. On February 4th, 2024 in Florida, the cops were dispatched to the side of a busy highway. Reportedly, during a road rage incident, there might have been a shooting between the drivers. >> Okay, >> GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW. YOU GET OVER THERE. >> All right, you stand over there. Stand over there. All right, you face away from me. >> He hit my car. >> All right, cool. Stand right there. >> 214. I got one at that point right now. The other party's across the street. >> YO, YOU FACE AWAY FROM ME. PUT YOUR HANDS UP. [screaming] >> YOU SHUT UP. >> When the officers arrived, the scene was tense. Given a report of shots being fired, the cop had no idea what to expect. So until backup arrived, he kept his gun trained on the two drivers. >> Who has the gun? >> US1 PV grade. I got one at gunpoint. Bravo Mike with a white shirt. The other half's across the street. Black male dreads. >> STAY ACROSS THE STREET. >> Secure that black male over there. >> PUT YOUR HANDS UP. >> Secure him. >> YO, WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. DO IT NOW. >> WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. >> WALK BACK TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. Keep your hands up. >> Hey, come to me. KEEP WALKING TO THE LEFT. Two steps to the left. Keep walking. KEEP WALKING. KEEP WALKING. KEEP YOUR HANDS UP. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED, BRO. >> While the men somewhat followed the cop's orders, they continued bickering with each other, hurling insults down the highway. And like the officer said, instead of insisting on a shouting match, if they didn't want to get tased, then they'd start following the cop's orders. >> Keep walking. >> Don't worry about him. Listen to us. >> Just shoot him. >> Stop talking. >> You already you up. >> Do you have any weapons on you at No, I ain't got no >> you. When you get out of now, come do it now. COME DO IT NOW. COME DO IT NOW. You don't have to fight me. >> Put your phone behind. >> I told you that was my phone. I'm not fighting you. >> All right. All right. >> I'm a you get you. What? >> You don't calm down or put your cops. >> My bad. >> All right. Calm down. >> Louis, you got me. You the straight up. >> You the straight up. 214. I got one secured. >> What's going on? >> YOU SEE WHAT YOU GOT? >> I'm not going to tell you again. >> Okay. >> All right. Relax. >> These guys were behaving like boxers at a press conference. Luckily for them, the cops didn't have to bring in the non-lethals. Next, the officers questioned the men to try and get to the bottom of things. >> I've been dealing with this dude on and off for 13 years. His ex is who I'm with now. This dude been stalking me. He done been to jail before. I'm in the mil I was in the military. He got military investigations. Records to prove everything. I just so happen to be leaving to go to the dispensary. >> I see somebody out in front of my house taking pictures. So I'm like, who is this? I go to follow him. It's this. So at first I ain't know it was him. I'm flashing them, high beaming them, wondering why they ain't stopping. get to the traffic light. It's his >> Yeah. >> So I'm like, "No, you doing in my house. You know you ain't got no business in my house." You feel me? So he going to holler at my Oh. Oh yeah. PULL OVER. PULL OVER. We pull over at Dollar General and start fighting. >> The man said that after the fight, he was trying to call police, but the man in the white shirt, whose name was Victor, sped off. As he didn't want Victor to get away, he started following him. And that's when the man started shooting at his vehicle. >> Look at my bumper. Hole in my bumper. >> You shooting your car? >> Yo. Huh? >> You want to pursue charges? >> Hell yeah. I WANT Y'ALL TO PUT that under the jail. I need to look at my car. See how many times? >> Are you hit at all? >> No, I ain't hit. But he shot my like three or four times. >> Where do you He hopped out of his car and started shooting. >> He opened the door and leaned out that looked like it I I ain't show. But it looked like a revolver. >> Where at? right there where his car at. >> So you started shooting right here. >> Back there cuz he pulled off and he mother he tried to pull off and the police hopped behind him but right back there the >> Was it a revolver or a handgun? >> I can't remember but I know it's a gun in that. Look at my bumper. He shot my like three or four times. >> If what the man was saying was true, then Victor here was going to be in a world of trouble. Discharging a firearm on the side of a busy highway is just ludicrous. While Florida does have its problems, it's not the Wild West. [music] >> Any weapons in the vehicle? >> Yes. Yes, I have two weapons in the car. >> All right. What kind of guns are there? >> One's a fifth weapon 500. The other one's a G 40. >> All right. 24 advising no one else is in the vehicle and he has two weapons inside there. >> ANYBODY ELSE IN THE CAR? MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN. DO IT NOW. ANYBODY ELSE IN THAT VEHICLE? GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE. DO IT NOW. >> All right. Driver side door is open. You want to stack up on the left side so we can clear this car? Do you have ID on you? Do you need medical attention? >> It's in my car. Yeah, I he bit my like. So, yeah. So, I went >> So, yes. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Before questioning Victor, the officers read the man as Miranda writes. Victor agreed to answer their questions and little by little it became clear what the whole altercation was really about. >> What What is What is going on? >> All right. So, my wife, who I'm legally married to, she left me about five months ago. Couple of weeks ago, she called me and I had the text message on the phone. A couple weeks ago, she called me, said everything was going to be good between us. We're going to get back together. Uh, she was going to move in with me at the end of the month, move back to our house at End of Money in South Carolina. >> Okay. We get to the house. >> So, I get there, I see a car parked in the driveway, which I'm assuming it was his only because she didn't have a building. Okay. >> So, then I didn't go to the car. I left, >> right? >> He pulled up behind me uh at that light right before you turn left to go to the Dollar General and he was talking with >> He blocked me in and then so I pulled into cuz I was planning on going there to get me something to drink. So I pulled into there, he pulls in, he pulls his car around and then he gets out, threatens me. >> He said that the other driver, who was also his aranged wife's boyfriend, had attacked him and had bitten part of his ear off. The man claimed that he tried to deescalate things by fleeing the scene, but said that the man followed close behind him, driving erratically. And >> then when we got up here, he hit the back of my car, which is when I opened fire. You can see the back of my car stuck. >> Where did he hit it? >> Right there on the on the end. >> What? Left side, right side, back. >> Right side. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So that's when I was car. But yeah, he hit my car. It my car stalled, so I had to pull over and then tried to restart it. He pulled up beside And I didn't know people what he had on what we were going to do something to him. I didn't ride. >> Okay. So then you guys turned down the ride about. What happened then after that? >> When we turned about That's when he hit my car. >> He crashed into you at the roundabout. >> Yeah. Well, no. No. He crashed into me on his straight like right down there and I pulled over my car cuz it it just it made my car stop. I couldn't stop it. So I just pulled over, shut it off and shut it back on. Then he ran back up on me cuz he after he did that, he turned around and went that way. But then I guess when he seen my car moving again, he came back and that's when I was >> although Victor claimed that he couldn't be certain. He said he thought the man was pointing a gun at him, which prompted Victor to fire shots at his vehicle. Essentially, he was saying that after the man struck his vehicle, he was shooting at self-defense out of fear for his life. >> What exactly happened once you guys actually got to these parking parking spots? You just hop out right in the middle of the park. >> Basically, I'm pretty sure they got everything on camera. Y'all can go the cameras cuz I want to see >> All right. And then that's when so and so they were calling the police. >> Yeah. They was coming out recording and calling the police and saying they was calling the police. And by that time we had to stop fighting. We was just bouncing back and forth. You know what I'm saying? He instead of trying to come at me. I had not did my thing. So I'm like what the right? And he started walking toward me. You know what I'm saying? I'm like back up. Back up. You feel me? And so he tried to kick me like that right there with this. So goddamn when people was like oh calling him on the phone with 911. That's when he tried to book to his car. Oh no. Get away from me. You done came down all the way down here. You f to get all you get all this. >> The man reiterated that once Victor left the Dollar General parking lot, he began chasing the man so he could report him to police. But Victor pulled over and started shooting. >> So you're following him. He pulled off the road. Then what do you do when you see him pull off? >> When um when you talking about when he >> Yeah. So you came through the roundabout, you see him pull off the road and then what he >> I pulled I pulled off behind him. >> Okay. But I wasn't off the road like he was. >> Yeah. But you were stopped. >> Yeah. But I was stopped and I was talking to the dispatcher. That's when he opened the door and I seen the gun and I >> So he opens the door up all the way. >> Yeah. He opened me all the way. Yeah. >> Okay. And then left like you see him gun in hand. Both hands. >> Boom. I go to >> What What did the gun look like that you saw? >> That by that long. >> Yeah. >> And that was shiny. >> Don't nothing look like a revolver but a revolver. >> Yeah. So >> So the looked like a revolver to me. >> Okay. Yeah. >> And that's when the dude said that, "Well, if you found a revolver, that's he had." >> Yeah. So, it looked like a revolver he was pointing at you. That's when he tried to do a U-turn. >> Yep. I bust I went back the other way. I was still on the phone with the dispatch and by that time I seen the patrol truck coming. >> Yeah. And he shot at you while you're doing the U-turn. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yo, that he shot at me while he shot at me after I made the U-turn. Okay. >> That's why I thought that hole in the back was another gunshot, but that's a exit hole. >> So, as you're driving away, was he still shooting? >> He was still shooting. Okay. >> He was still shooting at me when I was going the other direction. >> Okay. >> Victor was charged with misdemeanor battery, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, firing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle, using a firearm during a felony, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was sentenced to 4 years of supervised probation, 12 hours of anger management, and had to pay several thousand in fines. On the 6th of April 2025, the cops were dispatched to a marina due to reports of a heated dispute. Reportedly, a man was trying to reserve a public parking spot by standing on it. Despite the cops explaining that parking spots can't be claimed like that, the man was refusing to move. >> Yeah, you guys can't do blocking the spots like that. All right, you got to go >> cuz you're standing in the road, dude. Get out of the roadway. You need to calm down. First off, >> first off, you can't be standing in the road and you can't be blocking parking. He hit me with his car. >> First off, you can't be standing in the road and blocking parking spots. That's why you probably thought you got bumped, right? >> What? Because you're legal. >> You're standing in the road. Yes. Come on, man. >> It's legal to hit somebody with their car. >> You're standing in the road, right? >> So, now it's legal. Let me see the video. You have it on video. >> This is for trailers. >> We are ready. We have a trailer. You can't just block parking spaces though. >> I don't know how this works. So you can't just you can't just block parking spaces. >> The the road was blocked. So we would have >> The road is still blocked because of this right now. >> No, they were blocking it. So how are we going to park? >> It's because they already you can't come over here and reserve spots. >> We already paid. >> You can't come over here and reserve spots. >> So here's what had happened. One of the roads leading into the marina was blocked. However, the suspects, Alejandro, his wife, and his mother, got out of their vehicle and blocked an open parking spot. As they waited for their driver to find another way into the marina, another vehicle approached and began to drive into the spot. >> Where is the sign that said we can >> It's right there. >> The car is right there. We had to go around since you couldn't resolve the the road blocked here. >> That's not on us. That's on you. That's not our problem. >> You had to resolve the the road block, right? Okay. So, he can park his trailer there. >> I don't have to move out of the way. Where's the sign? >> Where is the sign that says we can block the road? >> Where's the sign? Excuse me. >> What is the sign that say first off? Don't touch my calm down a little bit. >> Excuse me. Excuse me. >> Calm down a little bit. >> Excuse me. >> What is the sign? >> Calm down a little bit. >> Where is the sign that said that I can reserve? >> Stop. Go over there. Just go over there. >> Why is he Why are you parking in our spot? You can't reserve spots. >> There's no significant sign that says that. >> Where is the sign that says that that we can sign? >> You can't do that. >> Where is the sign? >> We're in the parking space. >> Where is the sign that said that? >> There doesn't need to be a sign for >> Where is the sign that said that? >> The officer here was absolutely right. Under no circumstances whatsoever is it acceptable to reserve a parking spot on foot. You can't just see a spot in a crowded parking lot and have your friends jump out of the vehicle and hold it till you get there. As the incident proved, it would just lead to chaos. >> I was standing there. He hit me with he bumped me with his car, man. >> I don't even know if it recorded. I was so damn nervous. >> He hit him. >> Look, it took the >> So, you didn't take a video. >> So, right now I only have he said, she said. That's all I have. There's two witnesses right here. Three people saying the same. >> No independent witnesses. >> You guys can't stand in parking spots. >> Is there a sign that says that? >> It's a common roadway rule. >> Where's the road? >> You can't stay on the road, right? >> It's not a road. This is a parking spot. >> This is a road where it's not a road. It's a parking spot. >> The officer offered a solution, saying that an overflow parking lot nearby had ample parking. However, they kept on arguing with the officer, saying they'd already paid for a parking spot in that very parking lot. >> Right now, you're blocking the whole roadway here because you're causing this whole disturbance because you're standing in a parking space. >> You could fix the problem really quick. Just >> I could I could take all three of you to jail. That's how I could fix the problem to jail for >> obstruction of the roadway causing serving the peace obstruction. Oh, you want me to go on? >> There's no sign that says you can't reserve. >> What is the sign? is the sign that said that I can reserve a >> we're going to we're going to we're going to like what he said. I I I don't mind taking someone to jail right now. So, it's either you guys are going to move or you're going to go >> take me to jail. Alejand please. Please please. >> Hey, record this. Record this. >> Please. It's a nice Sunday. Please. >> It is a nice Sunday, right? Please make it more difficult. Y'all having fun with it, right? >> No, not at all. Actually, >> even after being given a solution, they refused to listen to the officers and kept on blocking the roadway. By refusing to budge, they left the officers no choice but to take extra measures to open the roadway. It was a really nice Sunday. All right. But the suspects here were just ruining it completely. >> Heyo. Cano. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. Hey. Yo, you left me. You left ME WITH NO AIR. YOU LEFT ME WITH NO AIR. SERGEANT. YO. YO. I can't breathe. I can't. No. What? I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> You can breathe. >> Breathe, man. >> Starting all over again. I can't breathe. >> I can't breathe. Record this. I can't breathe. >> I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. I can't breathe. >> Alejandro's family was getting really wound up, shouting at the cops in Spanish. The cops informed them that if they didn't back up and give the officers room to do their jobs, they'd all be headed to jail for obstruction. I'm not resisting. >> I'm not resisting. I'm really loud. >> Put him in the front again. There's going to be another problem. Fine. >> Let's go. >> I couldn't breathe, man. I was trying to get through. Yeah. unit respond. >> With Alejandro secured at last in the back of a squad car, cops then turned their attention to calming down the man's family. Simultaneously, they talked to the other individual who'd been involved in the dispute. >> No, you're good, man. >> No, they kept blocking the spots. You can't be doing that. You know that. >> I don't He attacked me. He recorded me. How did he attack you? >> Uh, no. No, he recorded me. I didn't record him. He came at me like, "What you going to do, bro?" >> He came at you like, "Oh, actually >> I'm like, I'm calling the cops. I'm not arguing with you. >> Can I get your name as like >> Absolutely. I'm the one to call, man. >> He didn't want to see our part of it." >> This isn't Homestead or the Keys. >> That's not justice. That's not justice. I I lived in in the pine. >> Well, I think your husband wanted to go to jail. He said so. He did not. >> He didn't tell the cop that. He did not. >> Okay. All right. >> As far as Alejandro's family went, the cops were never going to reach an agreement with them. No matter what the officer said, his family thought the cops were abusing their power. Even though Alejandro put his hands out and told the officers to arrest him. That being said, the parking lot issue wasn't the only reason they arrested him. >> What's your question? >> You ask an officer to take you to jail. That's that's enough for them to take you. We have we have more than enough to take you. >> I understand. Look, I wasn't complying in the sense that we were in that parking space and you guys were telling us to move and it wasn't right. We had to move. I I could say that I've learned my lesson, sir. Is this taking me to jail? Is this really necessary? >> Mhm. It is. That was enough cause. >> Yep. >> Okay. >> I just I just wanted to understand a bit better. Thank you for letting me know. >> I'm sorry if I caused you guys any trouble, man. >> It's all good. >> A sincere apology can really go a long way. But in Alejandro's case, the cops knew his apology wasn't sincere. And even if it was, it still wasn't enough to cancel his trip to jail. While they transported the man, he started showing the cops his true colors. >> Eating your quota right now. >> Deacon 24 years old and you're already balding, man. Kind of sucks. You must get no girls, bro. Maybe that's why you're so frustrated. You You need some of that, bro. I might take the edge off. >> 109. Starting. >> I tell you, man. >> That's medicine, bro. That's all you need. I'll take all your trouble. >> They charged the man with resisting with violence, resisting without violence, and two counts of disorderly conduct. Maybe the next time the cops give him an ultimatum, [music] he might listen. On the 5th of June, 2025 in Washington, the cops got a call from an elementary school. [music] Reportedly, a Door Dash driver had allegedly displayed a weapon while dropping off an order. Thankfully, after a quick search, the officers located the suspect and pulled him over. >> Stay in the car. Stay in THE CAR. STAY IN THE GODDAMN CAR. DON'T COME OUT OF THE CAR. 1455. >> Show me out with the uh Kia, white in color. Uh uh this was an incident that originated in Canyon Ridge Middle School. He possibly has a weapon. He just showed the weapon to security personnel. So, we're just going to do a welfare check. I'm waiting for 1451. >> Okay. Can you switch over, please? >> At a distance because the case says this guy had a weapon. off the third of the arm 145 to 140 K. Did he verbalize anything to you or he just lifted off his waist band to show you what he >> Hey brother, you're being audio. You're on too. All right. So, I'm a school resource officer. This guy was over. I don't know if he was delivering food or something at Canyon Ridge Middle School. >> Okay. >> Went back and forth with Chipping with one of the security personnel. Kind of just lifted up >> his waistband and show that he had a gun. didn't verbalize. It wasn't in play. But >> whether he had waved his firearm menacingly or simply flashed it tucked away in a holster, the cops here were not taking any chances. Backup arrived on scene and the officers got in position to approach the suspect's vehicle. >> Need to see both hands, sir. >> Return to >> Okay. Can you place both your hands on the dash? >> Hey, don't touch my palm, man. Put both your hands on the dash. Listen to what I'm saying. >> Don't talk stupid to me. I'm I'm a scientist >> and I'm going do what you telling me. >> Stop talking and do what I tell you to do. >> Okay. >> Put your damn hands on the dash. >> Okay. >> And I'll tell you the reason for the stop. First of all, you pulled off when I pulled you over and have my lights on. So that's obstruction. >> So let me tell you for the reason. We can sing together, but we can't talk at the same time. >> Reason for the >> job. Goodbye. Fine. The reason for the stop is that >> Do you want to understand why we stopping you or not? >> The suspect needed to learn that he wasn't the one calling the shots. If he wanted to dispute the cop's claims, then he could do it in court. Arguing with a cop on the side of the road who knows you're armed is never the right way to go about things. >> Because I just delivered a lunch at an elevator >> and you displayed your weapon to a security personnel at Kenyan Ridge Middle School. >> I got a permit to carry. Why would YOU SHOW HER THE WEAPON? >> I did display my weapon. >> I was delivering the food. They saw it. >> Okay. You >> don't reach for Okay. >> Do you have a permit for the weapon? WHERE'S YOUR WEAPON AT NOW, SIR? >> YEAH, I got a permit for it. >> Where's your permit at, >> man? Don't talk. >> Where's your permit at? >> It's in my wallet. >> Slowly reach that. >> Okay. >> Which side is your weapon on? Your right or your left? >> I don't know. This is where you were going, Todd. >> The suspect may have been right that he didn't display the weapon at all and that the security guard simply noticed it in his holster. Still though, if that were the case, his best bet would have been to just calmly comply and explain things to the officer rather than shouting at the cops and arguing his case. >> Listen to me. I don't mean to get fancy with you, but the way I was explaining it, listen to me. When people talk about guns out, >> white folks call. >> You don't want You don't want TO LET ME EXPLAIN. >> Y'ALL COME to shoot. >> You like that, too? You trained to come shoot, man. Okay. >> I'm not going to talk to you. >> You train me to come shoot. >> Okay, whatever. Show me the permit. >> Come here. Come on, man. >> Uh, here's the driver's license here. Here. You need to see this, too. >> I just want your permit. This is like y'all going to get >> Please give me your permit. >> I don't need to see any of that. I want your permit. >> You can do all that later. I'll give you my badge number and all my contacts. >> Yeah, I will need all of that. You know that. And I need to talk to the chief, too. >> He continued arguing with them, saying they'd overstep their authority. And for whatever reason, he thought the cops were going to shoot him, which obviously was not the case. >> I don't like his attitude. If you don't give me this badge number and I'm going to see to it that they ain't got a job no more. >> You know that. >> Say where you at. >> I'm going to see to it that YOU AIN'T GOT A JOB NO MORE. >> Stay where you at. >> Shut up, ma'am. >> Stay where you at. >> YOU CAN'T STOP ME from talking. >> Hey, how about we go back How about we go back to talking? Okay. >> Go back over there cuz you're closing the distance on me. >> The security guard cussed me out. >> Who did? >> The security guard. Good lady, get your hands and just blah blah blah. So let me ask you >> and that's a elementary school. You talking like this? >> No, no, no. That's a middle school and and that's a middle school. Okay. Whatever school it is, it was a question facility. Is it normal? Is it normal for you to present your gun when you poke your >> I presented my gun? I set the food on the counter and they saw this. >> Okay. >> I didn't have my own present. But what am I going to do? >> That's what that's why I'm getting a dollar and salt my side of it. Right. What? What? What you're doing is insulting my intelligence. No, >> we're not. >> I'm a scientist. >> But you're a scientist University of Washington. >> Okay. So, what did you study? >> I'm a geographer. >> You're a geographer? >> I'm the one that got June 23rd at National. >> Okay. >> The man did have a legal right to carry the firearm, and it sounded like he didn't intentionally display it. That being said, it was a bit of a gray area because it happened at an elementary school. >> So, let me ask you a question. Did you at all? >> No. No. I I will tell you the second time what I had a big old Oh wow. >> You had a big can of food and you put it on >> and then I raised my coat, putting it on the counter and they saw this. >> Uhhuh. And then all >> Did you know you were out of school? >> I'm just asking. I don't know. >> What are you talking about, man? >> Did you know you were out of school? >> Yeah, I knew I was out of school. >> Is it normal to bring guns on campus? And do you think that >> I'm delivering? Yeah, but that might freak them out. >> But Door Dash sent me here for this delivery, >> right? But they don't know you're carrying a gun. And >> Door Dash does know. >> They Door Dash knows you carry a gun >> because I've been robbed, man. >> Okay. I don't know that. >> I've been shocked. >> What I'm saying to you is this. Maybe what we ought to not do is when we're delivering to a school, >> I'm going to work I troubleshoot. I'm part owner of Uber. I troubleshoot. So now I know to tell Uber drivers, don't go to no school with your gun on you. >> Well, don't go to any school with a gun on you. >> All in all, it wasn't hard to understand the situation from both parties perspectives. And to be honest, it seemed like a big misunderstanding. It seemed like the suspect made a really bad move unintentionally and that he hadn't committed a crime. >> I came back there and the gun came back to him. >> He said he said he put the put the food up on the counter. They saw it and he says that's when started screaming and yelling at a conversation. I guess they couldn't stand on a chippy. She comes out and then he says to Taylor, "Oh, I see that you brought security for me and then opened up his jacket and showed his so we've already got even with a CPO. You can't bring that on school." Well, even weapons capable. I think you have based on what he's saying, >> right? >> We have we have we definitely have weapons capable, but the question is >> does this does this right here is that considered branch? >> But all it does to be is you just need to show it in a way that's meant to intimidate another. There's nothing about you have to pull it out. You have to have it in your hand. >> It just has to be in a way that you're intimidating. It's a gross misdemeanor. These are all misdemeanor. >> Right. So hit him with that obstruction. Not you me. >> Wait. hit him with destruction. >> Basically, it came down to this. While the man most likely didn't brandish his weapon, it was illegal to bring a firearm, registered or not, onto the grounds of the school. As a gun owner, he should have familiarized himself with the law before bringing a holstered weapon onto campus. >> So far, we've been doing pretty well. All right. The gentleman's that were over there talking, they've established that they believe a crime has occurred. >> Okay? And I'm just advising you now that they're going to place you under arrest. You are about to go very easily. Right. So behind your back. >> There you go. You're doing a good job. >> What kind of crime? >> I will let you know as soon as they tell the problem with cause is >> weapons on campus capable. >> Right. >> Weapons on campus is capable of obstructing. >> Okay. Maybe maybe maybe felony harassment by showing the gun and you also >> show gun and and probably a CPL violation. >> What? >> Concealed pistol license violation. >> Okay, >> that's a compliment. >> I'm going to let you sit yourself. Now, do you want to sit down and scoot back a little bit that way? I can >> Okay. >> arrange out a >> You can't take these off, right? >> Unfortunately, no. >> Okay, let me see if I can sit down in here. Is it Patterson or Williams? >> William. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. >> And I'll help you out as best I can. Yeah. Push off me. You're not going to hurt me. >> You go. He got me. >> He got me. >> You're better looking than me. That's why you can push off. >> He got me. >> Okay. That's good. I'm good. >> We think your life is valuable, sir. >> They charged the man with displaying a weapon, obstructing an officer, and possessing a dangerous weapon on school property. On the 1st of June 2023, the cops responded to a heated road rage incident that quickly spiraled into violence. Reportedly, a woman attacked a man in the middle of the road after a simple traffic dispute. >> You what she look like? >> She was African-American. She was thinner. Um she had like a brown robe with like stitch padding. So there >> occupied by skinny brown fox in the back seat. >> Talking to kids in the back seat. Are you pressing charges? >> I want to. Yes. Do you have video or >> I have a >> No, you're going to need video. Just the picture. It all happened so fast. >> Battery so far. >> Do you need any medical attention? >> No, >> it threw something. I mean, [music] >> so what happened? >> She had she had an iron on the floor. >> She got out of the car. >> What? What was you hit with? >> I think it was the iron. >> I don't She saw it. I didn't see it. I didn't expect it, >> but she got out of her car, came over, and then she started throwing stuff at the car, my truck. So, I got out and I said, "Get back into your car." And that's when I started getting hit. >> Okay. So, you got hit with an >> I don't know what it >> I saw her get out with the thing on the cord and I'm pretty sure >> Do you need fire? Do you need any type of protection? >> No. >> Ouch. Getting hit in the face with an iron is enough to ruin anyone's day. The suspect fled with an accomplice, but the male victim said that if he saw them again, he could easily identify them. >> Christ. Why did you guys start arguing? Like when did they start over here? >> She said I was too close to her. We were stopped. >> So >> where were where were you stopped? >> At the exit at the light. >> Uh that's Conroy by the I4. >> Yeah, we were getting off I4 to turn right to come into here. >> Okay. So you were exiting I4 and you were heading uh eastbound. And you were getting off. You rolled up next to her. And after you rolled up next to her, she got the cars in front of you. >> Wild. And then she just got out and she said started screaming at me but I was too close to her. >> And I rolled down my window and I said, "Ma'am, am I hitting you?" >> And then she started throwing stuff in my car and then she got something a weapon. She said it looked like an iron >> and she was coming at me with I asked her to get back into the car. She just kept throwing stuff out. I got out of my car. I said, "Ma'am, get back into your car." And that's when I started getting >> The man agreed to sign a written statement concerning what had happened. Thankfully, before the woman fled the scene, he did manage to get a photo of her license plate. And before too long, the cops eventually caught up with her >> because I this me and this man had an altercation. >> Um over there. >> No, I'm pointing over there because I just got off the exit over there. So, um me and this man had an altercation. He was behind me and he hit the back of my car a little bit. So, I got out the car to check it or whatever, but I can see come through the car like going like this, cussing me out and stuff. Shh, I'mma tell him. But um so he was going like this or whatever. So I mean um I'm like I'm not even going to argue with you and that's just my god brother just in case he take my kids. But um yeah in that car. So um I was like you know I'm not even going to do this or whatever. Like I tried to get back in my car attempt to get back in my car. He got out of his car and started cussing me out. He was he was right here by my car to get back in the car. He was like oh you're not going to do nothing. all in my face like we was about to kill >> and we fought like he hit me and we was fighting >> on the offramp, >> huh? >> Over there at the offramp. >> Yes. >> So gone. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> They were out of their vehicles. >> So yeah, >> benders. I had to fight. >> He was He came all in my car, was punching me while my kids were in >> the cops on scene were getting conflicting reports. The man said that he was attacked first, but the woman said it was the other way around and said she only acted in self-defense. Like the man had done before, she agreed to sign a written statement. And after that, another officer continued interviewing her. >> He was jerking up on my car. And my kids can even tell you, my kids are six years old and four-year-old. My kids can even tell you that he was in my car hitting me. Okay. So, >> and who is the witness? His wife. He >> That's not his wife at all. And she her truth is good. >> It's got his side which is extreme getting your side which is extreme and I got hers which was perfect and probably very accurate to what happened. >> Did you hit this man with iron? >> I didn't hit him with no iron. >> What What did you use? What was in your hand? >> It was my tire pressure thing because he he got in he got in my car and it's in my front seat. My tire pressure because my tires keep going down. It's a tire pressure that I keep in my car because I have a nail on the passenger side and he was in my car so I hit him with it. Yes. Cuz he was on the floor. >> Who put hands on who first? >> He put hands on me. >> The woman was saying she'd acted in self-defense trying to protect her children who were in the car's back seat. In situations like this one, it can be hard for the cops to determine who's at fault. And as a result, the cops had to get more evidence before they could make an arrest. So you telling me he woke up. >> Then you got back in the car and then he followed you guys. >> He did. >> Well, no, he ain't following me in the car when me and him was hard down like face to face fighting and whatever. Like he was pushing him off. >> Hit you first. >> He hit me right here. But I don't know how. Like >> you have any other marks on you? >> No. >> I mean you don't got to take off your clothes. >> No, I about say it's red right there. >> Know what I'm saying? But yeah, and if he he we was like this, ask my kids. All right. Didn't y'all see him hitting me? Did the man come to the car? Right. >> They refuse. They >> No, but they wouldn't lie. Kids don't lie for no reason. And we was right here. We was right here. And he hit, you see, he hit my car a little bit. And when I proceeded to get back in the car, he Sorry, I'm trying to show him, demonstrate. So when I proceeded to get back in the car, he was like this. his his lady even if y'all could roll the cameras and see him in my car. I'm I don't have to lie. Roll the traffic cameras. >> The woman was getting frustrated as the cops refused to take the children's testimony into account. Unfortunately for her, kids can be easily coerced and coached on what to say, especially by someone influential like their mother. >> But the kids don't lie. Like I'm telling y'all, just ask them without me being right here. Ask them. >> So I'm just trying to put pieces together. >> Okay. Um, you have her information and all that. All right. >> Um, so at what point did he put hands on you first? >> When he when we was face to face and he was like, "I'm not going to do and all this other stuff." Like >> like did he put hands and he hit you or he did he touch you or >> he pushed me? >> Pushed you like >> Yeah. And like I pushed him back. I don't even I don't even remember like had my fist balled up hitting this man. I didn't ball my fist up hitting this man. I probably scratched him or something, but I didn't ball my fist up hitting him like I was not trying to fight him. >> Understood. You're telling me that the iron happened when you were in the vehicle? >> That's not an iron. >> Whatever. This This [laughter] thing This thing happened while you were in the vehicle. You used it because he was in your vehicle. >> Yes. >> So, you didn't pull this man into your vehicle or anything like that. >> No, I didn't pull him into no vehicle. His wife even came and got him out of the vehicle. She was telling him, "Stop. Stop." She said, "Oh, sorry." But she was like, "Stop. Stop." And she had kids in the car. >> She stole >> I was about to Yeah, she said that. Like I heard her saying that. That's all cuz he was literally in my car over me. I'm trying to fight him off of me. I was literally about to put in the car and drive and drive off with him because he >> The cops decided that by that point they'd heard enough. With the eyewitnesses supporting the man's version of events, they determined they had enough to make the arrest. And just like that, there was only one thing left to do. >> I was about to say, can I just tell him though? I I wouldn't make a scene. >> But what am I going to jail for? explain everything to you. Just >> Am I going to have a blind? >> Yeah. >> So, I'm going to jail for >> Yeah. >> Is the man going to jail? >> No. >> Wait, what? Oh my god. I cannot go to jail. Oh my god. I'm really going to jail. >> Yes, ma'am. >> You got nothing on your >> No, I don't. Please, can you please can you >> on this road? >> No, I don't. Can you please >> Can you please tell my car, brother? >> We will bring We're not leaving. We're not leaving now. I had a picture of the car. >> Okay. >> Step in here. I'll go get him right now. Have him come over real quick. >> Okay. Please. >> I'm sorry. It's not something I want to do. >> They charged the woman with battery, but at least she had the common sense to cooperate with the cops, which is more than we can say for our next suspect. On September 12th, 2025, a cop spotted a car with excessively tinted windows and conducted a traffic stop. It should have been a simple citation, but things quickly spiraled out of control when the driver refused to identify himself. >> How's it going, sir? >> Yes, sir. >> Hey, Deputy Martinez County Sheriff's Office. Reason for this stop is going to be your tent. All right. My tent. >> Your tent. Which one? >> You have your driver's license on you, sir. Registration, proof of insurance. License, registration, proof of insurance. Sir, >> what is your name? >> I'm not going to ask you again for your license, registration, and proof of insurance. Sir, >> speak to your supervisor. >> When you're done with this traffic stop, you can call non emergency. I will give you a non-emergency number. >> I I need your supervisor. >> Does not does not work like that. >> Breaking the law. >> Go ahead and step out of the vehicle, sir. That's what you want to do, right? >> I'm letting you dictate this trap yourself. >> Supervisor, I asked for your name and bike number. You are refusing. Just by looking at the suspect's windows, it was clear they were possibly tented past the legal limit. Therefore, the cop had the right to pull the man over and ask for registration and ID. And the suspect was about to learn the hard way that the cop was under no obligation to call his supervisor. >> Why you pull me over? >> Don't touch my vehicle. >> What did I do wrong? >> You said you said touch windows. Okay. Don't step out of it. >> I really don't know why you why you have to why you have to >> I ask you for your new member. >> Stop. Stop. >> Refuse. >> Stop. >> Don't do that. >> I fall for six. >> One more detainer. >> The suspect said he had no idea why the cop had pulled him over. Even after the cop explained multiple times that his window tent was illegal, the officer informed the man that he wasn't under arrest. He was just being detained. >> What is going on with you? >> No, I asked. >> Why are you Why? But why are you refusing my >> Why am I refusing? You're the one refusing. >> I asked for your name and badge number. You refuse. >> That's not how that works. >> I I That's how it works. >> That's absolutely not how it works. >> I asked for your supervisor and you refuse. >> Do you think that this is worth going to jail? Please for the think with your head real quick. >> I don't want to speak anymore. >> Think >> I don't want to speak. >> You don't want to speak? Okay. All right. Are you sure you don't want to speak? >> You said I'm being detained, right? >> You're detained. >> I'm I'm giving you an opportunity. Let me tell you Let me explain to you why you're in handcuffs. Okay. You have already committed an arrestable offense. Yes, you have. >> Right. >> No, I have not. Windows. >> You have refused to identify yourself. I've asked you for your license multiple times. All right. I don't know where you got this. >> I ask you for your supervisor. You refused. I asked you for your name and badge number. You refused. >> I'm doing my job. >> Over unlawful. >> I'm doing unlawfully. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm giving you an opportunity to go back and to start fresh. I don't know why you're choosing to be like this right now. >> It was a frustrating scene and you could tell by the officer's tone that detaining the man was the last thing he felt like doing. Some people never consider the fact that they themselves are the problem. What have I done to you personally? What have I done to you? Cuz I identified myself. I identified my agency and the reason for the stop. But that wasn't good enough for you, was it? You could have continued to videotape me. You could have handed me your license, registration, and insurance, and and we could have continued. >> Do you have my phone? I don't have your phone. Your phone's over there inside the vehicle. >> You took my phone from my hand. >> Absolutely. You're not going to go in handcuffs with the cell phone in your hand. >> The suspect here just didn't want to hear it. In his mind, it was the cop who was in the wrong here. And unless the cop let him go, apologized to him, and sent him on his way without a ticket. Nothing was going to change how the man felt. As the man was refusing to cooperate, he was asked to step out of his vehicle so they could search him. >> So now, now you're under arrest. >> Oh. from detained to under arrest. >> Yes. >> What are you arresting me for? >> I'm going to put you in real quick. >> What? Arresting me for I'm arresting you for for resisting without >> What do I resist? I comply with everything. >> No, you did not. You did not identify yourself. >> I also myself. >> You also did not step out of the vehicle when I ordered you to step out of the vehicle. I had to go inside your vehicle and remove you. >> I asked you for your name and badge number and you refused our request for >> Where did you Okay. Where did you get this from, though? I'm curious. I I really am curious. Where did you get this from? I have no issues giving you my name. I gave you my name. I said I'm Deputy Martinez with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office. The reason for the stop is your tent. >> So, where are you getting this whole ID and I need to speak to a You can speak to a supervisor. No one was not going to stop you from speaking to a supervisor, but I'm not going to stop my job. >> I request a supervisor and you refused. >> I'm doing my job. >> I request for a super and you and you would and you would have gotten to speak to one. >> Trying to get answers out of this guy was like pulling teeth. Thankfully, some backup arrived and they were briefed on the situation before conducting an inventory of the suspect's vehicle. >> Just so you know, buddy, I'm sorry to interrupt. Your front windows are at 7%. They can't be darker than 28% state of Florida. Their rears are at 14. You were almost close. They can be at 15. That's legal limit. Okay? So, the stop was 100% lawful. Just so you know, just for your information, >> I gave you an opportunity to backtrack and so that you wouldn't have to go to jail. You know that? That's why you were still detained. >> And then when you chose to not comply and not answer anything, >> you didn't. You stayed quiet. You said you weren't going to talk >> and now you're under arrest. I >> I'm under arrest for not talking. >> I asked you and you said >> you're under arrest because you did not comply. >> You chose not to. >> I complied. >> I gave you I gave you an opportunity. I gave her an opportunity. >> Okay. >> I gave her an opportunity. I gave you multiple opportunities way before you even got to this point. >> They were going back and forth over and over. And it wasn't long before the officer got sick of the suspect's games. After all, he'd been given multiple chances to comply with them. And it was all caught on body cam. >> I pulled him back out cuz I'm like, I'm not going to hide back here. >> I get in the vehicle for my safety. And then for my safety, >> well, I'm not going to leave you in the car. I'm being detained and then I'm being detained and then I'm under arrest. >> Well, I'm not leaving you in the car with your property on you. >> When you're detained, I'm patting you down just for any weapons. Now that you're under arrest, I have to clear I have to search a person, right? And remove everything from your person. How am I going to do that with you sitting down? How am I going to do a thorough search? Be logical about this. Stop trying to be a street lawyer. >> They charge the man with resisting without violence and obstruction. Maybe next time he'll learn when he's given a lawful order, he'll have to comply or face the consequences. On the 8th of July 2025, a woman approached a police officer saying that after a brief altercation on the road, she'd been followed by a man and harassed. >> Seen her coming down the road on her >> on her whenever he pulled in here. >> She parks right here and he comes up like this, gets out. You got a problem? And I just stopped him. Wait. We're going to wait for an officer to come up here. >> I'm Officer Wolf. What's going on? >> Hi. So, coming into town, this truck was in front of me and going like 20 25 the whole way. So, you know, I did pass him >> and then all the way through town, he gets up on my like almost hitting me and just swerving like I had to run the red lights. >> I didn't get here and he just got a problem. You got a problem. >> Okay. >> Stupidly. >> Okay. All right. while I go talk to them. You want to just get your license out for me so I can come back and talk to you. Okay. >> The woman was visibly shaken. Whatever she might have done to aggravate the other driver, it didn't give the man the right to chase her through town while making threatening gestures. He was going to have a lot of explaining to do. >> Sir, I'm off Wolf. What's going on? >> I don't know. I was going through town. >> Okay. >> She uh I was right past the Walmart in the single lane. She passes me, honks at me. I'm doing the speed limit. >> Uhhuh. >> And then just proceeds to just take off like there's no reason for her to pass me. I was doing the speed limit. >> Okay. So, what drove you to follow her to here? >> Because she I don't understand why she decided she needed to pass me. You were on a single lane. >> Okay. Are you a law enforcement officer? >> No, sir. I'm not. >> Okay. So, why are you following her here? >> As far as questions went, it was a pretty good one. The man had the right to be upset, but he didn't have the right to follow her around and confront her in a dark parking lot. As the officer said, if the woman had committed a crime or a traffic violation, then he should have called the police. >> I followed her here because I found no reason for her to confront her >> and I was doing nothing. >> Again, are you a law enforcement officer? You thought she violated law, you need to call 911 or a law enforcement agency. You do not have authority to follow someone and then approach them aggressively and yell at them. >> I just asked her why she passed me. That's all I did. I didn't approach her. >> You You did. You're confronting her. She doesn't know you. She's a female alone by herself. And you are following her, getting out of your car and approaching her in an aggressive manner. Oh, she passed me for no legitimate reason. >> Okay, then call the cops and we can deal with that. You don't need to follow her through town and then approach her aggressively. >> Okay. Okay. >> Right. >> Okay. [music] >> Right. >> Okay. >> You don't like when someone approaches you aggressively, do you? >> So, how do you think she feels? Look how close you are to her car right now. >> You're about a foot and a half away from it. This is how people get into physical altercations and or get shot for no reason because they don't know what you're doing. >> The officer really let him have it and rightfully so. His only saving grace was at least he was cooperating and wasn't talking back. Next up, the officer asked the man to hand over his license and registration. See, so clearly me yelling at you is the only way I can get you to understand that what you're doing is not okay. >> Okay. >> Right. Understand? >> Because you think that it's okay to follow somebody cuz they passed you in town. >> Well, she passed me illegally. >> Illegally? Again, are you an are you a cop? Are you a law enforcement agent? >> No, sir. >> No. Do you have any arresting powers whatsoever to enforce the law? >> No, sir. >> No. So, you are not allowed to take that into your own hands, follow her through town, and then confront her about it. If you have a problem with someone's driving, you need to contact 911 or the local law enforcement agency and report it. >> Not take it upon your own hands to handle it. >> Okay? >> That is how people get hurt for no reason. That's why we get paid your tax dollars to do that. That is our job, not yours. You have her crying and terrified because you followed her through town and then approached her car for no reason, yelling at her of why she passed you. >> Okay. >> 2025, man. What if she came out and just >> I'm sorry. >> It's 2025. What if she exited her vehicle and just had a gun? >> We've talked about that. >> Like, it's a whole different world, man. >> I know. I get that. >> Okay. So, you need to leave and do not do this again. >> Yes, sir. >> Do you understand? 100. >> After a very harsh, and let's be honest, embarrassing reality check, it looked like the man might be free to go. But when the cops talked to the woman again, it became clear the suspect was not going to get off that easy. >> He's going to let him go if he don't want to charge you. He don't want to file charges and we'll let him go. So, >> if I have if I press charges, like, what do I got to do? >> Just write a statement that, you know, his his actions alarmed and disturbed you and we can write him a citation of conduct. You might get called to court, but maybe not. I don't know. You don't have to. It takes time. >> You just me. That's all. >> Well, that's why you're alarmed to dessert. >> I mean, if I could, I'd feel better >> about it. I'm going to stop him. >> The suspect thought that he might be getting away with it, but sadly for him, the cops pulled him over just as he was leaving the parking lot, and he was not going to like what they were about to tell him. Mr. Kushman. >> Yeah. >> Do you have a phone number, sir? >> Yes, I do. >> What's your phone number? >> All right, sir. You're getting a citation tonight for disorderly conduct. You have a mandatory court appearance of August 12th at 1 p.m. at the Jersey County Courthouse here in Jerseyville, Illinois. >> Excuse me. >> There's your citation for disorderly conduct. >> How do I get disorderly conduct? You alarmed and disturbed her, causing a breach of her peace by following her through town, exiting your vehicle, and confronting her in aggressive manner, and yelling at her. >> That's fine. I will fight it. >> You're that's that's your god-given right, sir. Um, >> this acts as your pre-trial release. So, this is what you get instead of going to jail tonight. This states that you won't commit any more crimes while you're out on pre-trial release. If you do, you could get another citation for violation of pre-trial release. Just need your signature right there on that X. >> The suspect went on dismissing the charges, but the officer told the man one more time that he had no right whatsoever to take the law into his own hands. After signing the summon though, he was free to go about his business. >> You all finished, ma'am? >> All right, he got >> Okay, perfect. Um, so he was uh arrested for disorderly conduct. He has court that he has to show up for. like that other officer was saying, you might have to show up to court to kind of explain your side of the events and you know how it visually obviously upsets you and you felt his actions alarmed you enough to call 911 and drive straight to our police department because of his driving and then afterwards him approaching you. So, >> was he drunk because he got out of check and he was just when he was walking he was kind of just >> No, he he walks with a cane. So, no, he wasn't. I thought so at first, too, but the more I talked to him, he he wasn't intoxicated. He's just walks with a cane and that's just how he is. So, >> okay. >> I have my windows down, too. So, just >> Yep. You did everything perfect. You called 911 and drove straight here. That's exactly what you you need to do in that situation. Okay. >> If you need anything else, feel free to call up here. Okay, ma'am. Thank you. >> All right. You're welcome. Have a better night. >> The suspect was cited for disorderly conduct. If you're shouting and threatening people and engaging in reckless behavior, things are only going to go so far till the law steps in. And when the officers get there, all the bravado fades fast and these road raging bullies get shut down by nononsense cops.
