cops are entrusted with upholding professionalism but what happens when they make irreversible mistakes here are four times when cops ruined their careers in seconds this is Officer Gregory Damon from the Tampa Police Department on November 17th 2022 officer Damon brought a woman to the Orient Road jail in Tampa Florida the woman was allegedly arrested for trespassing According to some police reports however the woman did not dare to accept her fate as she refused to exit the cop Cruiser upon arrival at the jail facility watch how officer Damon had to react in response Damon proceeded to remove the woman from the vehicle and guide her by the arm across a concrete floor he paused once to instructor to stand up but the woman declined Damon then escorted the woman to a doorway and signaled for additional officers to Aid him the police department stated that it amended its policy in 2013 to prohibit officers from dragging uncooperative Suspects on the ground instead officers are instructed to seek assistance from jail booking staff or other law enforcement personnel as perpose police guidelines officer Damon was fired after this incident he has been a part of the Tampa police department since 2016 if you think officer Damon was the only cop who ruined their careers in seconds then probably you aren't aware of this next case are you detaining me sir yes I am stop for what a house that complained about a white male in a tan carart hoodie and gray trousers roaming around his private property in Kent New York at the same instance Mr Ryan Theodore was out on a walk in the neighborhood oh no thank you yes no thank you no come here are you detaining me sir yes I am stop for what crime what is your reasonable Artic do not touch me turn around what have I done I'm detaining you turn around for what suspicion what is your Reasonable articulable Suspicion of a CME yeah multiple calls about you what is your ra at right yes this is unbelievable what is your R it's Ludwig from the Denver Police Department on April 27th 2020 a 25-year-old individual named Keelan Hill was involved in a car crash near Interstate 25 Denver Colorado officer Ludwig responded to his call after the crash and began questioning the other individuals involved in the crash Mr Hill was treated by paramedics that instant in inside an ambulance observe how officer Ludwig reacts to the situation guys right sir we're okay thank you you a driver he's the driver you guys you guys are okay yeah we're good we're good what happened well it's so weird honestly um I changed lanes I signaled and change lanes a while back actually cuz I looking for a safe place to pull over after it happened um and after I was in the lane he came between me and the car that was in the lane and I mean it was like he was driving recklessly it just came like right between us you get you on that side yeah this side right here right here you can right here knock this plate off and put a dent in the front exactly car that's not hey back up get out of my face search my car here put your hands behind your back right now what do not pull away do you understand me what really lay down chill out dude what for me to determine if I am injured at the moment sir so here's the thing if you say that you have injuries I'm going to do something different okay if you say that you don't have any injuries then that means that nothing has happened and I can let you drive away sir I believe I but if you're telling me something different then I have to do something different so just tell me if you have any after placing Mr Hill in the police cruiser they proceeded to tow his vehicle and transported him to jail he was charged with interference with police activity subsequently the charges against him were dropped however he pursued legal action by filing a lawsuit against the officers and the city of Denver alleging violations of his first and Fourth Amendment rights the status of the lawsuit proceedings remains undisclosed if you think officer Ludwick was the last cop who ruined his career then probably you haven't watch this next case this is Officer Lorenzo Hernandez from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office on September 21st 2019 officer Hernandez accompanied by several other officers were at a scene where they wanted to search an apartment in Williamson County Texas after they observed some marks and bruises on a woman's neck she was allegedly a victim of domestic violence she expressed her reluctance for deputies to search her Suburban apartment for her boyfriend whom she reported had already left the property watch what the officers do after she repeatedly denies a search I have to yeah I'm glad you did which one is she what's her name do I to do anything yeah I'll talk to y'all in a second hey let me talk to you real quick yes do you need EMS no I'm fine come out here come out here I really don't want to deal with Y people all right well we'll make sure you're
