Come here a second, man. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. You don't have no right. I said come here. You have no right to put your hands on me whatsoever. What the hell? 100. I don't know about that. And all these 16 I don't know how many cuz why I know my loss, bro. I got I've been doing this. Y I'm on the phone. Just need to get your information that bro, so don't worry about what you Let's get your information, bro. If you want to be a criminal, you've got to move things around. Illegal contraband has to be transported. But when criminals are busy transporting their items, they're also at risk of running into law enforcement. And when criminals get pulled over and the cops suspect they're hiding something in their cars, it often ends with a trip to jail. Stop it. Stop. No copy. That's what I'm saying. On the 23rd of March 2022, police conducted a traffic stop after a motorist failed to signal when turning. [Music] Hello. Please follow the stop. You didn't sit. You didn't sit on required distance when you're pulling up in here. Okay. You have your driver's license and insurance. See? I already had Okay. Y'all stay here. Okay. Hello. Well, he's driving so Yeah, but he's got a driver license. No, I don't. You have ID on you, ma'am? You have anything on you that has shows your picture in there? Can I get your name? Can you roll this window down? The driver, Charles, confessed that he never had a driver's license and accompanied the officer to the rear of the vehicle where he was further questioned. And while that was happening, another officer noticed something on the passenger shirt. He all over the front on his shirt there, man. Come on. It's all good. It's all good. Hey, look. Look. It's Tim. Tim. Well, I was straight up. is still on your shirt at that. Look, look. Hey, just relax. Relax. You know, we're always straight up on you. Okay. Whatever all over your pants, man. So, don't probably dirt or something. Hey, it wasn't dirt. It mean I You know how long I've been doing this? Long enough to know. Okay. Hop out for me. Hop out for me. All right. Just Just face the truck right there. Hey, just keep your hands up right there. Okay. Don't be reaching around or anything. Okay. Okay. Huh? Well, I'm saying that's what I'm saying. They always I mean I That's what I'm saying. I don't care. something that truck I mean on the floorboard whatever I don't know man after a search turned up nothing on Timothy the passenger the officer then turned his attention to searching the vehicle and while he didn't find any contraband he was notified by dispatch that Charles had a warrant out for his arrest. All right, Charles, you got some more cities. Thanks no more. What they do? I know got a ticket. I just got some tight, man. I got my whole hand in there. tight, man. Let go of this. Let go of this, man. Let go of the rag. Well, I'm telling you. I'm telling you what to do. I'm talking about doing all that stuff. All right. I'm trying to fix these cuffs for you. But if you're going to act like that, we're not we're not going to do nothing like that. Already doing that bull. Stop. [ __ ] y'all going, man. We got to search you before. That [ __ ] ain't did nothing. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I'm saying. Hold on to me for Hey, that's what I'm saying, man. Nothing on me, man. That's what I'm talking about. Stop it. Stop. When the cops moved in to search Charles, he immediately tensed up, leading the cops to believe he had something to hide. But if he thought struggling would stop the search, he had another thing coming. Still, it would take more than handcuffs to stop him from trying. Get your hands out your pockets. Quit doing that, man. So [ __ ] man. What the man doing out here, man? No, you're the one that's like Charles, stop. You're going to get sprayed, dude. You're about to get sprayed, Charles. Charles, you're about to get sprayed, bro. Just relax. [Laughter] I got I got I got I got I got I got I got [Music] shorts on a reaching in there, man. While the man continued struggling with the officers, he was trying to reach his hands into his pockets, which led the officers to suspect that he was pretending to be in distress to distract them. Whether or not that was true, there's no denying that pepper spray stings. Oh god. Oh god. Oh [Music] god. You got to turn off. First time that turn sideways. Turn sideways. I can't get it in there. Okay, just wait. We'll get in a minute. Considering how hard he struggled, surprisingly, the search turned up nothing. With Charles secured in the back of the cruiser, the officers next turned their attention to the female suspect, Jennifer, for some answers. And thankfully, she was more than helpful. I didn't see him, but [Music] while you were in the car. Yeah. [Music] [Music] [Music] the book. Yeah, like the manual that's in the glove box. [Music] So, was there No, you're not. You got some warrants, but I'm not taking on the warrants cuz they're out of Arkansas. Okay. So, you're not going to jail. All right. 36. Not for that at least. I mean, do you have anything else on you? Okay. So, be be straight up. Did they Did they have any eyes or anything pills? just like the rolling paper and it went all over him enough to get out of the truck. The cops were convinced that the suspects had more to hide than just they were still confused though as preliminary searches turned up nothing. With the suspects secured, they conducted a more thorough search to get to the bottom of things. And it wasn't too long till they found something. Timothy was just acting real strange. What's in [Music] there? Yeah, you're probably right. 50 tablets. Yeah. And draw 50 controlled substance. Yeah. Um, I think it's PG prescription needed. I I just know it's prescription needed. Um, it's probably I don't know. I know I've rested before, but it's been a long time. It should be should be PG3 because I'm pretty sure if you go over on the way to the 28 because if you have a bottle of that, it's over 28 anyway. I believe it's PG3. Beautiful. So, it's actually called oxymethylone. Yeah, that's good. Yeah, it's on the front. Oxythone. I know you'll look it up. I'm just going to go and see real quick. Yeah. Timothy said that if Charles had drugs on him, he didn't know about it. He was still placed under arrest for possession of steroids and they read him his rights and put him in the back of a squad car. Man, that's that's workout pills. Okay. I don't know what to tell you. It's prescription only. So, who you get them from? I I buddy you want to tell his name? Yeah. Sure. Well, I mean I mean I can tell you his name, but I mean I don't I didn't think I didn't think that anerol now test and all that. Yeah, but anol is just like a a little it helps like anemia and HIV and cancer and stuff like that. It's not that's not a that's not illegal, is it? I mean, it's prescription only. You don't have a prescription for it. So, what was what is that going to I mean, how how is that a felony or misdemeanor? Um, I believe it's misdemeanor A. God, man. Thank God, bro. I believe, man. I didn't I didn't know those pills were uh illegal, man. I thought I knew like testosterone with the needles and all that is, but you know, I didn't know that that them were. And I just get him from a guy that works out, man. He's a family guy. He even says, you know, like I said, what's his name? His name's His name is Jace, man. That's all I know his first name, but he's a good guy. He knows what's he knows a lot of cops and stuff. The officer asked Timothy to give him Jayce's address as Jace was the man who supplied him with the pills. And while he was understandably uncomfortable with rolling over on his friend, even under pressure, Timothy refused to snitch on him. I don't know if it's wrong or not the guy to tell me out deals like that. But I don't mess with no needles. And now I need to call the mom, but she thinks she thinks cuz they're legal tattoo. You know what I mean? Yeah, I'm going to jail for and I don't want if they're legal. I don't want to just tell on that man right there. Okay. I understand, Tim. That's that's you and your business, man. If you don't want to say nothing, that's fine. Get out. Well, I mean, you're not going to get out right now. I mean, you got to go to jail. I know, but I go over there and you'll see the judge. Oh, in the morning. Yeah. Charles was arrested for resisting arrest warrants and Timothy was charged with possession of a controlled substance. On the 7th of May 2022, a father was driving with his son when an officer stopped them because their brake lights were out. Hey, have a seat back in the car. Sit down in the car. I'm officer just in traffic office be audio video recorded. Okay. You have your driver's license registration. You want sir? Yes, please. Damian le. What's your name again? Officer. I'm Damian Le. Here you go. Thank you. Go ahead. Do all that good stuff. All right. So, you want to leave? You know why I stopped you? You know why I pulled you over? No seat belt. No seat belt. You're no 54 and a 45. You have no brake lights at all. Brake lights on a brake. Sure didn't. Any reason you're not wearing your seat belt either, man? To explain the faulty brake lights, Damian claimed he was in the process of fixing up the truck. Seeing that both suspects seemed nervous, the officer asked if there was anything in the truck he should know about. Guys, there's nothing illegal in the vehicle. Guns, bombs, bodies, any kind of weapons of mass destruction, anything like that. No problem checking the vehicle. Tools. Tools. That's it. Okay. Nothing on any one of your persons. No guns or anything like that? Knive on me. You want to hold it? I don't want to hold it. Got anything else? Come here, man. Come here. Come here. Come here. You don't have no right. I said come here. You have no right to put your hands on me whatsoever. What the hell? 395. We're 61. 395. We're 61. 61. Subject. Get on your stomach now. Get on your stomach. Put your hands behind your back. The Was that stupid? What do you mean stupid? You're talking about searching me for no reason and me. Lock me up. No reason whatsoever. Yeah. Now you're getting locked up in resistance. Wait, I wasn't resisting. Y'all been coming at me. Y'all been attacking people. What? I got one 61 77. If the cops were suspicious before, they were now definitely certain that the suspect Damian had something to hide. Typically, people with nothing to hide don't run from the cops. And after patting him down, it wasn't long before the cops found what they were looking for. What are you doing, bro? What was that? Nothing. Did you come down here all crazy? Pools. No, I didn't. I want to pat you down for weapons. I ain't got no weapons. I gave you my weapon. I gave you my pocket now. Why are you Well, you're under arrest now, so it doesn't matter. Arrest arrest. You eagerly arrested me. Yeah, you eagerly came and arrested me. Eagerly arrest on your side. I don't want to be violent. Why you being stop? I'm pulling over like you said, man. You want to be violent. You want to be nice and then and then that. Imagine that. I smoke you out. Yeah. Let's go. Get up. Can I give my father my phone? I'm not anything. You're going That was dumb, bro. What was dumb? Don't sit there and attack me for no All I asked is searching for weapons and I did. It's weapons. You were going to search me for weapons. You were trying to attack me for no reason. Weapons. I gave you my weapon. Yes, sir. Have a seat. The officer said that initially he was just asking Damian if he had any weapons on him. If the man had cooperated instead of trying to evade the cops, the officer said they would have been on their way. Instead, Damen found himself in the back of a cruiser for possession of All you had to do was be honest. Can you get them to my wife, please? Honest? What do you mean? I didn't do nothing. I had a little bit, bro. It's not a big deal. How would I file charges a minute? We going home? That was stupid. What do you mean? I didn't even That was Yeah. Okay. It's all on video, dude. Anything else in the vehicle, sir? No, I'm I'm going to check his side. Like you said, he gave consent, so I'm going to go ahead and do it. [Music] got away from you. Okay, bro. [Music] Even his dad said he tried to run. He's like, I wasn't trying to run. Yeah, they were right that it was stupid to run. Why he thought it would be a good idea to do so when he only had a personal amount of on him was anyone's guess. After the vehicle search turned up nothing, the cops let Damen's father off with a warning. I'm going give you a warning for all that stuff, dude. That's 45. I know you're coming over from the county and it's 55 out there. Been turned into 45 trying to get all my stuff over to Lake City. You have to wear your seat. You got to stop one time before we got your seat belt on, huh? Yeah, mine mine's broke. I'm trying to get everything fixed on. I've been working on it. Get that [ __ ] Trying to get everything fixed on it. And then um Did you got his phone or you It's on the hood of your car. His phone, his wallet, his hat, and his dip is all right. Your wallet's on the seat. Front seat. All that for that for a little bit of butter. Yeah. Yeah. Tried to take off on me. Got knocked. I will call him and I will Damian was charged with obstructing an officer possession or use of equipment and a felony charge for selling. The man's bond was set at $7,000. On the 18th of March 2023, an officer conducted a traffic stop after a motorist committed a minor traffic violation. How you doing? Yeah. Officer Murphy. No, he's probably officer warning. I pulled you over is when you guys turned out, made an improper right. Improper, right? Yep. An improper right is when you basically make a righthand turn and you I knew exactly. I'm just I'd probably say you drive it earlier, though. So, no, I wasn't driving earlier. I was sitting your registration insurance. You guys are not allowed to watch me though. Okay. That you guys were pulling over. You guys were just watching me that we were at his cousin's house and now you're pulling me over. Step out of the car for me. For what? Um, no sir. I'm going to be calling my mother. I'm underage. So, thank you. Step out of the car. Step out. Yeah. The car just need to pull me out and be like, "Okay, come on. Step out. From the moment the officers approached the vehicle, the suspects here were being defensive. It's okay, of course, to dispute the reason for which you're pulled over, but you can do that by filing a complaint. And as the female suspect was about to find out, refusing to comply with an officer's orders only makes things worse. Don't touch me. Yeah, I'm about to grab you. Step out of the car. Don't you dare step out. Don't you dare touch me. Stop the stop. Stop, bro. Yeah, they just did this literally because we came all we did was come out neighborhood and they just slammed her on the ground. What's your badge number? Hey, get back. What's your badge number? Get back. You want to go to jail, too? Get on the sidewalk. [Music] Get up. Keep walking. Hey, don't walk up that car. If she didn't want the officer to put his hands on her, perhaps after being asked repeatedly, she should have stepped out of the vehicle. Now, more than likely, they'd be charging the woman with resisting arrest. And unfortunately, when it came to the cops being there, her male accomplice was just as riled up. Over here for me, man. Don't put I touch on me. I'm putting my hand. I have no reason. Stop walking away. Up then back off. I'm not walking nowhere. I'm staying on the sidewalk like you just told me. You said go on the sidewalk. I'm on the sidewalk. Why are you telling me to do different stuff? You dumb. You're a rookie. You said come on the sidewalk. I'm on the sidewalk. I'm not going nowhere. I'm not going nowhere. I'm staying on the sidewalk. I'm staying on the sidewalk. I'm not going nowhere. I'm staying on the No. No. Mom. Mom. Mom. Mom. No. I'm not moving. I'm staying on this sidewalk. I'm not doing nothing. I'm not doing nothing. I'm not doing anything. I'm not doing Okay, I will. I won't stop. Bro wasn't doing nothing. I'm not doing nothing. I'm not doing anything. My hand. No, dude. Give me your hand. Give us your hand. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Okay. Stop reaching. Well, it didn't take long for him to turn from a tough guy into a mama's boy. It was another pointless arrest that could have been completely avoided. Remember, the only reason they got pulled over was for making an improper right turn. As far as this predicament goes, these two had no one to blame but themselves. Dude, I'm not doing nothing. Please stop. Please freaking stop. Please stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Let go. Help me. I am. I'm not doing nothing. Just stop. Bust your hands. I've said it a 100 times. I want to see my arm broken. He's got I think he's got zero in his pants. Don't grab it. Do not back up. Back up. I've already been through enough. No. Hey, I just pulled this out of this. Okay. Yes. So, get back. I do not have that on me. No. I cannot breathe. I am over here. Can you just put me on my butt? Mom, there. Mom, I did nothing. For her son's sake and hers as well, the suspect's mother shouldn't interfere. If her son didn't want to be manhandled by the cops, he shouldn't have been cruising around with an illegal gun stuffed in his pants. No. No. Pull up his clothes, please. Don't get picked up. I need my phone. Keep your key out. I didn't resist. They slam me on the ground the sidewalk. Mom, they said go on the sidewalk. I went in the sidewalk and they slam me. Mom, they told me go on the sidewalk. I went on the sidewalk and they slammed me on the Mom. This dude was punching me in my head. He punched me in my back three times. He punched me in my neck. Dude, take a breath. Take a breath. Just calm down. Take a breath. Take a breath. Take a breath. These officers conducted a traffic stop. Okay. Your son resisted. When I showed up, he was on the ground handcuff. I am the officer that pulled this out of your son's underwear. Okay. That's not a common place. I'm sure he's not licensed to carry this. So, that's that's a jail sentence right there. It's not a safe. You don't have to be Yes, you do. to conceal it. You do, ma'am. Yes. Absolutely. And that's not it's not holstered. It I don't carry my firearm in my underwear. Okay. Clinch between my butt cheeks. That's exactly where it was and that's what my report's going to say. The officer was right. Clearly, the cops don't keep their service weapons between their butt cheeks. If anything, he should have told this woman that due to his own actions, her son was lucky he didn't get tased. Stop yelling, Xavier. You didn't even take your medicine. Listen, I will meet you. I'm going to go I'm going to call the lawyer. I'm going to go post your bond and all that once they put everything in. Damn. Jesus. These cop No one has kids. No one has kids. Obviously, this is crazy. No. What's crazy is parents like this who make excuses for their kids' horrible behavior. While many police officers have children, they'd be horrified to learn if they were running around town with illegal firearms and fighting with the cops. And I was literally doing everything they said. They said go on the sidewalk. I went on the sidewalk. They start like walking up on me. And I said, "I'm on the phone. Can you please not grab me?" And then he kept walking up on me. And I said, "I listen." I said, "I listen to everything you said. You told me to back away from you, guys. I backed away and then told me to go on the sidewalk. Now I'm on the sidewalk." But then I was saying it like in a high tone. That's probably what made him mad. But I don't see what like you can't take like just from me yelling, "You're supposed to like deescalate. Tell me calm down." Instead of that in instead of telling me to calm down, he literally like tackled me. I was I listened to everything they said. Everything they said. And still listening to everything they said, he still ran up on me, grabbed me by my arm, twisted it behind my back. And as he's doing that, one of them's like elbowing me right in my neck. The other one punched me in the back three times while the other one's elbows inside of my neck. Yeah. Wait, is do they have the body cam footage there, right? Oh, yeah, dude. I I my dude. Oh my gosh. They charged the man with battery on an officer, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of said firearm during a felony, resisting arrest with violence, and obstruction with violence. On November 2nd, 2022, police officers with the Ohio State Patrol pulled over a U-Haul truck after seeing the driver erratically. The traffic stop morphed into something completely different when the cops made an alarming discovery in the back of the truck. How are you today? Just stopped I noticed when you change lanes behind that semi, you're probably less than a car length away when you start to make that lane change. just a little bit too uh you know too close. Um you probably couldn't fit one of these trucks between you when you're when you're making the lane change. Where you coming from? Uh Phoenix. Phoenix. Uh where you trying to get to? Uh Columbus. What's What's in Columbus? Huh? What? What takes you to Columbus? Oh, new uh job offer. New what? Job offer. A job offer. Okay. What type of work you doing? Construction and truck driver. Do you have your license with you? I don't I'm pretty Are you What type of truck do you drive? Uh semi. Yeah, I'm from Mexico. What is it from? Where? All your license from Mexico? Yeah, it's Yeah, I know it's still it's still good here. Um uh you got a house already set up or apartment or? Oh, I'm I'm going to hotel and then we're going to meet a friend later. The driver, Sebastian, gave no explanation for his erratic driving, which raised the officer's eyebrows. Furthermore, he seemed nervous and his answers about moving for work seemed vague. So, the cop decided to dig a little deeper. After talking to his partner, he asked Sebastian to step out of the truck. Are you uh you working for a truck company right now? Uh you currently are you currently a driver? No. No, no, no. Okay. Um I'm just going to write you a warning, but you got to make sure you stay give yourself more room before you make that lane change. Okay. Have you ever worked for a trucking company or do you just have a commercial license? Hold on. DSL Brothers. Okay. DSL Brothers. Yeah. Huh? Yes. We're going to we're going to we're going to search the truck. Okay. No concerns at all. What is uh While one officer chatted with the man, another officer ran a dog by the vehicle and the dog alerted to the presence of narcotics. Still, the officer told the suspect that the reason for the search was that he found his story suspicious. Before the search started, they searched Sebastian first and put him in the back of a squad car. Money back real quick. [Music] Make sure you take your money and hold it. So, no concern about that stuff. Okay. Because I have my I'll need that anyways. Actually, I have another letter. What? This is all to do your job that you're planning on doing. Yeah. Oh, this is my my dream car. Take it. I Yeah, I'm fixing that. Can't do me no good. So, I'll put it back in here and just zip to zip it up. I'll use this to figure out your information. Okay. Check. Okay. 100% safe. Sebastian seemed pretty relaxed, but the officer thought it was all just an act. While the front of the U-Haul was full of personal items, there were some hollowedout wooden beams covered with junk that caught their attention. To get a better look, they cleared everything else out of the truck. 4818. Negative. Call. cuz he's off pretty soon. Let me see. Let's peel this up. Smell that loot. I can feel it. After prying open one of the beams, the officers noticed that it was filled with wrapped packages. In the meantime, while they continued prying into the beams, they informed Sebastian that he was under arrest. Caught red-handed, he didn't even bother to put up a fight. Lean forward. [Music] What's that? You're under arrest right now. Okay. We have some suspicion illegal narcotics in the back. How many of each one? What do you think? Six in each one. Try this one. Use this side. This probably like 100. I don't know about that. And all these probably eight 16 I don't know how many there's like so there's like eight. As far as the officers went, they were exactly in the right place at just the right time. And as far as Sebastian goes, it was clearly wrong place and clearly wrong time. What started as a simple traffic stop turned into a large scale bust of over 200 lb of gain. Sebastian, you seem like you're not very concerned about this situation. You seem like pretty calm. Are you concerned at all about what you have in the back? I mean, you you found yourself into in a serious legal problem here. Okay. How many kilos are back there? What's that? You just know there's something back there you're taking somewhere. Um, would you would you like to continue and take it to where you're going? I mean, you got to consider the trouble that you're looking at, though. Okay, we'll talk about it here in just a minute. Okay. Yes, sir. It's not uncommon for law enforcement to let captured mules go to their final destination. That way, they can sometimes catch bigger fish. However, in this case, the suspect said that it was out of the question for the cops to lay a trap. Next up, the U-Haul was transported to the station for further searching. I'll lift something up. Let me get something behind you there. That's my fault. They charged the suspect with possessing 220 pounds of he's facing 11 years in prison and a fine of up to $20,000. On the 30th of June 2024, the cops conducted a traffic stop after spotting a vehicle with excessively tinted windows and a front license plate that was improperly displayed. I will roll down, sir. Okay. How you doing tonight? Not too bad, man. How about you? Am I right? Sir, so I'm Deputy N with the sheriff's office. The reason I'm stopping you is for a couple reasons. All right. The window tint and then the plate being in the window is not readable. Okay. Okay. All right. So, you got a driver's license? Yes, sir. You wear my license plates, though? Yep. How you doing today? Not too bad, man. How about yourself, sir? Went to play some basketball with my guys, sir. Ready to get home. Gotcha. You got insurance? Yes, sir. Can I see that? Uh, I got my wife. What's that? I had my wife sent it. Sure, that's fine. Hello. You got to cop your damn [ __ ] She going to try to find me. Do me a favor, pal. Go ahead. Unbuckle your seat belt and step out of the car. Why I'm stepping out the car? Because your car smells like I'm going to search your car. Do that with you in my car don't smell like It does smell like It does. Nope. No. He almost ran me over. Yikes. On that day, the officer here definitely had luck on his side. As they chased after the suspect, Jerry, they radioed back and forth with the base and other available units. Whatever Jerry was hiding, it better be worth risking his own life and the officer's lives as well. are one thing. Traffic is light. Going over F now. Continuing southbound. Passing a few cars. Coming up to 50. Going over mound. These cars starting to smoke a little bit. There is no traffic. We're still going 110. I copy. You're going over mound. Starting to smoke. I'll be setting up at 89. All right, we're coming up to X. He is in lane two. for units. He's right behind this semi. Right behind this semi. You have room. Never mind. He's going to the outside lane. As the high-speed chase continued, units further ahead deployed spike strips. Although Jerry managed to avoid them, he sharply swerved and lost control of his vehicle, crashing directly into the median. 1080 1080 1080 1050 1050. Sorry. 1050 1050. Mile 6 1050 EMS. He act like he was go nightmares about a please go. I just Jerry claimed that he fled because he thought the cops were going to him. But unfortunately for Jerry, when the judge sees that body cam footage, it'll be crystal clear that the only person who came close to anyone was Jerry. I got scared for my life. I'm scared. Please help. Stop. Hey, stop for a second. I had a nightmare about this. Stop for a second. Please don't. I got kids, man. Don't me. It's on just north of the clover on the shoulder. Yeah. Oh, okay. You don't know what happened to me. I almost like like two years ago and good for nothing. J, can you stand up? Yeah. All right. Please don't. Please. Look at me. Please, bro. I got kids, bro. George, get a fire extinguisher in case this goes up. Please, bro. Look at me. Please, bro. I got kids. Hey, stop for a second. Look at me. Bro, I got kids. Look at me. Please, bro. Look at me. Please don't. Nobody's going to kill you. All right. Nobody's going to kill you. Okay, let's stand you up. Oh god. No. It was clear to the cops what Jerry was up to. He was saying that he feared for his life just to have an excuse for fleeing. But in reality, the real reason he fled was that he had something big to hide. Our deputies don't want to either. So when you try to run him over, this is kind of what we have to do. Try to run no deputy over. I swear to God I didn't. I swear to God I was out the way. I ain't know where you at. Please. I swear to God, bro. Bro, please. Nobody's going to kill you, man. I swear to God. Please, bro. I still [ __ ] that, bro. Well, he I see him reach for the shifter and I had opened the door already. I went to like I was going to try and grab his arm and he took off and he ran into my arm. I got kids, bro. I got six kids. Got an ambulance coming. What's What's your name? [Music] Jerry, bro. I gave them Jerry. I got Jerry. Jerry. Are you hurt? No. Are you injured? Are you like straining against those handcuffs? Is that why you're like groaning like that? We need to get a good search on him cuz he has 961 on him. What's that? What's that? I don't know. On me, man. I I probably got a couple of bro. Okay. Those are so like not nothing. I wasn't smoking or nothing in the car though. We understand. But it's it's still illegal, so we still got to do our jobs. Due to the man's erratic behavior, the officers asked him if he was on any other than marijuana. According to Jerry, he was simply sober, but incredibly frightened. Essentially, he took zero responsibility for nearly running down an officer and leading all of them on a high-speed chase. I was just scared, bro. You want to? I swear to God, I've been traumatized a lot, bro. All I know is between those two deputies, they're as calm as cucumbers. Nobody's going to get Bro, I swear. No, there's there's more going on here, man. You don't just run from the cops. No, bro. I seen him reach for his gun, bro. Yeah, he reached for his gun because you sped away. He Let me explain to you what happened. He was at your window conducting a traffic stop, conducting an investigation. You sped away. No, I sped away cuz I seen him reach for his gun. That's why I sped away. It does smell like It does. Nope. No. All right. Just stop talking if you want to argue about it. Bro, I don't want to talk to you. Okay. Well, when this go when this goes to court and they watch our body cams, then we'll have the full story. We all do our reports. When the fire department and EMS arrived to assess the scene and examined Jerry for injuries, the cops searched the wreckage and found almost 200 g of 20 g of along with paraphernalia and other products containing THC. Well, we found he's going to jail, so get him. It's all good. Just missed. I have. All right, boss. We're going to stand up. Okay. Yes, sir. We're going to go to the ambulance. We're going to check you out. Got ants all over me. Well, that's the worst. Or at least your worries right now. All right. Walk to this ambulance here. N you're all right. They don't need much. Let's go, buddy. Going to go in the ambulance. You're going to be okay. They're here to help you. Can you spray it like that way so the acid flies that way? Sure. That does not smell good or taste good. That's why I have to ask you. That was a year and a half. Is this yours? That's weird. That's more than a couple points, bud. I didn't I did not smoke it. I did. I did not smoke it in the car. I'm taking your socks off. Well, you smoked it at some point, dude. Cuz you wreak your eyes are bloodshot as hell. You ever fear for the life, bro? You ever had somebody reach for the you for your life? Hey, how you doing? Good. I'm fine. How are you? Not bad. It's amazing how you can actually see the the fuel gauge going down as you're driving 120 mph. Oh, I bet. Especially in them vehicles performance. My guess is they charged Jerry with recklessly endangering safety vehicle fleeing eluding battery on an officer possession with intent for both and and resisting obstructing an officer. On top of everything, he was given 17 traffic violations totaling almost $5,000. Worst of all, every charge he got was a repeat offense. On the 3rd of March 2024, police officers stopped a vehicle after observing the driver going over the center line. What's going on, man? What's going on, man? Hey, officer back at Pensacola Police Department. How's it going? Good. You all right? Yeah. Yeah. I just pulled in. I was going to go pull down there with my friends, but I had seen you like literally the moment I pulled in down here, you pulled on your light, so I just stopped right here. I don't know whose house this is. Yeah. No, you don't cuz it's uh abandoned. Oh, for real? Yeah, it's for sale. You pulled into a house with a for sale sign right in the front yard. I thought they uh I thought they had uh sold it like two weeks ago. I don't know, but I know you didn't live here. Yeah. Yeah. No, I had pulled in cuz you had flee signs on. I live uh not I don't live down there, but my friend does live down there and I I saw you following me and I was I was figuring you was going to get me to the house, but I caught me a little early. Where you coming from? Uh right down um it's uh you know the road with the [Music] um UPS trucks. Okay. I was coming off there. I don't know if they have a road cuz whenever I go into Google, they don't have a road. Gotcha. So I was just coming off of there. I just came off of work. I just went uh see my friend. Um he had a little bit of money he owed me. So I just went seen him and then I'm going home now. I live um right off her ninth. Right off the bat. The suspect appeared nervous, talking too quickly and overexlaining. When the officer asked him why he was shaking, he said he was afraid of police after his brother had been treated poorly during a traffic stop. So, you just got off work and you were headed home? No, I got off work um what time you think it is? 10:12. I was about to say my my clock says 11:12. I had um What time did you get off work? I had got off work around uh 9:30 and I went to my uh friend's house just because he had a little bit of money he owed me. I let him uh borrow a little bit of money so he can go get some groceries, right? And uh he told me he had the money tonight. So I just went up, pulled by him. Me and him talked for a little bit and then I left home. So if it says 112:00, then it's going to be about 12:10 now. Said 1210. Uh 10:12 now. 10:12. Yeah. Okay. So, you got work 9:30. Went to your friend's house. Yeah, I want uh No, no, no. I didn't get off until like 9:45, 10 o'clock. Yeah. No, they had me late today. Gotcha. Cuz uh they had me on some um You got a license on you while we're talking? I do. Yeah. Yeah. Is there anything in the vehicle that you should not have in the vehicle? No, sir. No guns? No, sir. No, I had um I did have a uh sword that I had I did have a sword that I bought off my friend. The suspect provided the officer with his license and said there was nothing illegal in the car. While he was searching for his registration, the officer told him the real reason why they pulled him over. So, the reason why I was pulling you over is cuz you were swerving all over the road. You were going into the oncoming lanes of traffic. Any reason for that? Nah, I ain't going to lie. Uh, other than paying attention to my phone, trying to get uh Your phone is dead. No, my phone before you had pulled me over was on like 2%. You know, it's iPhones. They they they up all type of ways. Uhhuh. Um, I had my insurance p uh not my insurance, my address pulled up and uh I guess I was You had your address pulled up? I did. You don't know where you live? I do. I do. It's just uh come where from where I came from. It's just the way that I was pulling out. Yeah. I didn't know exactly which way to go. All right. So, here's the deal. Right. So, the reason why I was pulling you over is cuz you were swerving in your lanes, right? Right. And then when you made this turn here onto what is it? Uh shade. Marbel on. No, it's shade. Shade. Okay. Yeah. So, you made your left hand turn on shade. You almost hit the curb on your right hand side. You made too wide of a turn. Almost hit the curb. Right. And it's kind of weird. You pull into a part to a house that's abandoned. It ain't yours. See, that's a little weird. Yeah. No. No. All right. So, my worry is that you're safe to drive. Okay. Yeah. Have you been drinking anything tonight? The suspect told the officer that he hadn't been drinking that day, but earlier he had smoked a bit of the man's tone suddenly shifted when the officer asked him if he could search the car. You mind if I search your vehicle? Yes, sir. Go ahead. I can. All right. Well, first thing I'm going to have you do, right, is I'm going to have you step out for me. Do not move. move. You understand me? Yes, sir. Do not move. Well, I do not stop. No, stop. Do not move. I have a question. Stop before I let you go. Come here. Step out. Go ahead. Um, this is technically Turn around. Right now, you're just being detained. Okay. You're not under arrest. Yeah. This is technically my Turn around. When I ask you there's a gun in the vehicle and you tell me no and you got one right between your damn legs, I got a problem with that. You understand me? Step back. Yes, sir. You got anything on you? I do. What do you got? I have a firearm. You got one on you? I do. Where is it? It's under the uh It's under the seat. You have anything on you on your personal? No. No. No. No. No. Other than maybe a vape. You asked me if there was a firearm on there. I said, "Is there anything in the car that's going to get you in trouble? Any guns?" And you said no. I said, "Nive?" You said, "No, I have a sword." The cop informed the suspect that he was just being detained and was not under arrest. As the cop had a hunch that he was under the influence, he asked the man if he was willing to do some field sobriety tests. But if I take you in handcuffs, are you willing to do this exercises? I do. The only problem I will have is the um like the whole feet sobriety test is because I I have basic I have terrible power. Terrible power. Yeah. Like terrible balance. Not power. balance. Okay. Go over my uh you can go over my doctor records and stuff like that. I have terrible power. Okay. We'll talk about all that. We'll talk about it. Like I said, you're under arrest. I'm going to take those handcuffs off you and then we'll do some field soiety exercise and make you make sure you're safe to drive. Okay. Yes, sir. All right. Needless to say, he failed the test. He was then read his rights. Whether or not the suspect was drunk was one thing, but the officer here wanted to know more about the firearm because typically people don't lie about weapons they're registered to carry. So what I'm going to ask you about is the gun, right? So the gun stolen, right? All right. Yeah. Yeah. I ain't going to lie to you. There's no point in lying. Like y'all going to figure it out. Yeah. Right. Exactly. I was going to say y'all going to figure it out, right? So y keep your feet inside. My bad. My bad. Keep your feet inside. So who did you get the gun from? Uh I can't lie to you. I don't know. Where'd you get it? I uh there was one night I had um just went out. I was uh I was going at least at least 150 200 yards from the radius from where? Uh from uh 4805. It was When was this? And again, you know what I'm saying? Like I'm not saying it was perfectly legal. I'm not saying it was perfectly right, but I'm I'm I'm just looking out for myself, man. I'm scared. So, you you took the firearm out of the vehicle? I have. Okay. So, no one gave it to you? No. No one sold it to you? No. Okay. I will I will tell y'all the exact Did you know it was stolen? Uh I won't say I would. I was knowing it was stolen just for the sole fact that so much has happened in Pensacola. I can't promise that a firearm would come back stolen or come back dirty or come back with a on it or come back with a robbery on it. So, you said you said it probably has it probably has a crime on it. What crime would it have on it? No, I mean I wouldn't say it has a crime and the only crime on it would have on it is the robbery. What robbery? Me taking it. The man confessed to the officer that having the gun under his seat made him very uncomfortable during the traffic stop. He said he had no intention of pulling it on the officer and overall it sounded like he was being truthful. I wasn't going to pull the gun. Man, look, people that pull the gun on police, you're stupid as hell because you pull the gun. Like, sure, you might get one police officer, but all them other ones are coming after you. Yeah. So, I would never pull it on the police. I was just I was just scared. I just didn't want to get caught. You know what I'm saying? Like, it wasn't under any circumstance of, "Hey, I'm trying to hide from police." But also, you know, you're not 21. You can't even have a gun. I do. I unless unless it's gifted to me. But then again, that gun wasn't Well, even if it was gift to you, you can't conceal carry a pistol if you're under 21. 21 to conceal carry a pistol. So, if I get a um pistol, concealed carry to me, I can't even have it in my uh like gun in here and mag in here. No, you're not 21. They charged the man with lararseny, carrying a concealed weapon, and driving under the influence. And while he wasn't thrilled to be pulled over by the cops, at least the guy didn't throw a temper tantrum like our next suspect. On June the 7th, 2024, an officer conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle containing young people ran a red light. What's going on? We went off Why'd you run a red light? Who the ran a red light? Okay. It was red. And get your ID on you. No, I don't. But you my name. You got ID on you? Cuz he was driving the car. I wasn't. You were. Sorry. Any firearms in the car? No. Any firearms in the car? I got a firearm. But I'm allowed to have a firearm. Okay, that's fine. That's why I'm asking you. I was not driving. What the I haven't drove. I drove to Where's your firearm at? Don't grab it. Just I'm about I'm about to get up so you can I want you to grab it. I want you to grab it. I'm about to lift my hips up. I don't want to hold it while you guys are here. That makes me nervous. Relax. Relax. What's your suspic that also has a firearm on? So, apparently the suspect in the back seat, Nicholas, had been driving the car and switched seats with the female suspect when they got pulled over. The officer asked him for ID as he wanted to ensure he had a concealed carry permit and was old enough to carry the gun. Nicholas said he was a passenger and he didn't need to provide the officer with his ID. Marcus, why? I know my loss, bro. I got I've been doing this. Yo, I'm on the phone. Just need to get your information. All that, bro. So, don't worry about what Just get your information, bro. Bro, I don't have to, bro. I don't have to, bro. You know why I don't have to, bro? Cuz I studied this, bro. I study all this all this, bro. I don't want you with me. He was just driving. No. How am I? I'm in the back seat, bro. You with me? You just watched me sitting at You was just watching me sit at my brother's grave site. I did not see you over there, bro. You rolled past me, bro. Bro, no, bro. Can I talk? Thank you. So, that mean that was my You saw you turn down 27th Street and then pull in pull into my driveway, right? No. Pull into my driveway, right? I was waiting on which is harassment. Which is harassment. Well, did you run the red light? Nobody ran a red light. No, I did. But you did run. Even if I did, I'm asking you for my ticket and you harassing. All right. I'm not harassing him. He has a firearm on him and he has to look. Look, I am being a difficult look. I'm trying to talk to you. Can you pull me off? Can you grab it off my hip? Cuz I don't want you to feel like I'm aggressive. Here go my gun right here. Can you grab it off my hip, please? That'll make me so much more comfortable. Thank you. Now you have my firearm. The officer asked the woman to step out while he continued talking to the other two passengers. The cops needed their ID as they not only had a firearm but also a scale and some marijuana. After confirming their identities, they ran Nicholas's info and ask the man to step out of the vehicle. I'm going to have you get out of the car. Come here, honey. You're handcuffing me. What am I being detained for? What am I being detained for? Well, he'll explain it when you I mean I'm saying don't like warrant for your arrest, bro. Bro, okay. That's a traffic warrant, bro. And I just got I just got Bro, I literally just talked to officer. So, you knew about this traffic, bro. Bro, why is y'all playing with me, bro? Get my phone, man. Bro, you just hung up. Yeah, bro. I said, bro, I'm about to wig out, bro. I'm about to weed out because I'm about to weed out because y is breaking the law, bro. Y'all are breaking the law. You want to talk to me? I'm trying to talk to you. Y'all are breaking the law, bro. Y'all are the police and you guys are breaking the law. That's not fair. If we can't trust y'all to uphold the law, who the are we supposed to trust? Listen, listen. What's your first name? You have my social. My name is Nick. My name is You just My name is Nicholas Gates. All right. Nick Nicholas. Nicholas Gates. Nicholas. Have a seat. I'll talk to you. Nicholas had a warrant out for driving under suspension. So on a temporary basis, it was illegal for the man to carry a firearm. And after the woman in the vehicle gave the cops a fake identity, the cops detained everyone while the vehicle was searched. Can you listen? Can you put them above my wrist? That hurt like a I can't loosen them anymore. Put this above my wrist. I'm asking. It's right on my bone. This one is right on my ball. Swing your feet in. What? I can't. It's not that hard. You young, you're athletic. You can swing your feet in. I've seen 70-year-olds do it. I'm going to take these keys, too. I'm gonna get the light out. All right. Don't worry. I'm not faking it or anything. During their search in the center console, the cops found and some baggies containing some sort of substance. When they first made contact, the cops saw the driver doing something with the console, so they question the woman first. What do you mean? There is well blue substance. I'm not talking about a bottle. I'm talking about when you were moving, making movements right before I asked you. know what I was actually doing. If you look at the seat belt in the car, you'll see that it's wrapped around. I pulled it over. No, I'm talking about when we were standing at the car talking to you and you started shoving things in the front. You No, I just seen a bag and I just pushed down. Oh, so you just saw the bag and was trying to tuck it. You don't know what was in it? I don't know what the was in it. Okay. When Nicholas saw one of the cops conducting a narcotics test, he became visibly concerned. He admitted that was his, but said he knew nothing about the f. But unfortunately for him, the other suspects told the cops a different story. The things we located in the vehicle, we interviewed every individual and they're coming back. Everyone's saying that the bags are your bags that what that contain our car, bro. Get the out of here, bro. That's why I asked you. You didn't want to tell me whose bags they were. I said they weren't mine. I told you that. I I said the only thing I have in there is my shirt in my Bro, come on. The one bag, bro. I'm saying, bro, you talking about they saying back in there, bro. You talking about they say, "Oh, that's your bro. You just going to be like, what? Bro, I got paperwork, bro. I work every single day, bro. You just going to go over their word, bro. Who's green? Who was wearing the green tag, bro? on my brother. I just left seeing all my brother's ashes. Bro, that was not me, bro. With the suspects here all pointing their fingers in different directions. It was hard to tell who the belonged to. So, to get to the bottom of things, the cops went back to the suspects and continued to question them. We've been in and out of that car. He has been in the driver's seat. Okay. He has. Have you seen him or her with the green a green bag or a brown purse looking bag? Either of them. Brown purse looking bag. Pretty sure that that purse look like a compet I didn't see. Okay. Are you serious? Yeah, bro. Look, I told y'all the truth when y'all asked about the firearm. I told y'all the truth. I gave you my firearm to make y'all more comfortable and everything, bro, cuz I didn't want y'all to feel like I was a threat or anything, bro. I understand I get loud and aggressive, bro, because I don't like being bothered by the police cuz I do nothing to nobody, bro. with the fourth thing being said and the last thing being said, bro. I understand with the firearm, bro. Like I said, I have I I'm going to arraignment Monday, 8 a.m. before I go to work, bro. With the driver and Nicholas pointing fingers at each other, the cops arrested both of them and let the female go. Next, the suspects were taken to the station where they'd be processed and undergo further questioning. on the steel. Put me in a cage like that's crazy. You ain't got to do that. That's cool. If I get That's cool. Stop, bro. I'm I'm back as soon as you get done. I don't do seat belts. It's fine, man. It's on you. There's no money in the cup holder. Why am I going to jail for somebody else? You got to get a gun on you. Bro, this is not fair, bro. Bro, can you talk to me first? Wait, bro. Talk to me before you put me in there. All right, bro. Come on, dog. Bro, I'm saying. Why am I going to jail? You had a gun. No, bro. Y'all, bro, bro. No, bro. I swear to God, bro. My kids, bro. Bro, my kids, bro, I don't got no bro, bro. They charged Nicholas with possessing weapons under disability and possession of a controlled substance. When criminals transport illegal items or illegal substances, sometimes their nerves get the best of them, and that makes it easier for the cops to know when they're hiding something. Sadly for the criminals, no matter where they conceal their illegal paraphernalia, determined cops won't stop until they find what they're looking for.
