cops are given the power to enforce the law but what happens when they overstep their bounds here are four times when entitled cops got humbled by higher authority nobody shot there was not one gun when he noticed a box truck parked near a private property behind a strip mall with the driver side door opened after approaching he discovered that a 50-year-old pastor and delivery driver Jose Castro was slumbering inside officer carala thought the box truck might have been used for burglary so he called for backup officer Michael Thorton along with other officers arrived on the scene as while removing Mr Castro from the vehicle officer King one of the officers on the scene struck Mr Castro on his leg and arm and pointed the gun at his head which subdued him and got him out of the truck the officers put him in one of the cop Cruisers and later muted their body cameras to discuss the situation meanwhile the officers also searched Mr Castro's box truck watch how the cops are there's a case that's going to be filed on you most likely after the call commenced the officers were told they did not have probable cause to search his vehicle several hours later Mr Castro was released and was taken to the hospital he suffered injuries such as pain and swelling in multiple parts of the body due to the excessive force used by the cops during the encounter on August 28th 2020 Mr Castro filed a lawsuit against the officers involved the officers lost qualified immunity after the lawsuit proceeded in court and the search of Mr Castro's truck was labeled unreasonable if you officer bco was spotted in a parking lot in a governmen issued vehicle he was accused of pointing a firearm at two patrons at a Circle K gas station in Albuquerque officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded to the scene and found the two victims there an officer confronts officer borco for the accusation made against him watch what shocking truth the cop is about to uncover I'm going [Music] to hello sir my name is Al are you security here no I'm so the reason why I'm talking to you is uh we got a call for service about silver Dodge gentleman pointing got at somebody else saying he's going to take a soul and doing all that do you mind just stepping out for me real quick so I can complete my investigation cuz this is the truck that they need and then you're sitting inside it I conclude through it whether officer bco pointed a firearm at the individuals the cops believe if he had done so the reaction of the victims could have been more shocking however after this conclusion the cops decided to search officer barco's government issued truck observe how the encounter ends yeah all right sir so we just talked with your chain stuff investigation wise things are going to be on pause um again we took your truck sealed it just for evidentiary value we're going to look over everything at a later time just to make make sure we're doing what's right so everything is Justified there's no questions for tonight though um you're being released um nothing's good to take place further we gave your chain the report number and stuff um they be they are willing to give you ride one Sergeant I don't know if you saw the other one that was with me he's in contact with the chain once things are being like released and stuff I can't like get in contact with anybody without my all right and then I think one of them will help you out sir okay thank you guys thank you appreciate it despite knowing officer bco was drunk no breathalyzer or field sobriety tests were conducted on the scene officer bco was released from detention and was free to leave the police recovered 17 empty bottles of alcohol from his vehicle he was charged with aggravated ass assault with a deadly weapon and negligent use of a deadly weapon the proceedings of this case are unknown if you think this was the maximum an entitled cop can get humbled by higher authority then you probably aren't aware of this next case so you said I'm detained and I said suspicion of what crime what are you doing back suspicion of what crime what's your WRA you need to leave if you'd like to stand on the sidewalk and do he told me I have to come here and I'm detained so I didn't say that I didn't say that you said we need you to come here and you said I'm detained this is Sergeant Marsh from the Burlington Police Department on January 13th 2022 a First Amendment auditor conducted an audit in Burlington North Carolina he initially filmed in Burlington city hall and filed a public records request afterward he went into a parking lot of Burlington Police Department and began recording the police vehicles there Watch What Happens as he is conducting his audit tires are mostly in good
