was informed by Dispatch that several warrants for Mark were in the system for failure to appear on felony cases also appearing was a municipal warrant for Mar possession he arrived on the scene and witnessed Mark in the field what happened next will leave you [Music] intrigued hey Mark it's Deputy Sando Mark what's that about little l for what I could help how have you been I haven't seen you in a long time no you got a warrant mark I okay Mark you're not going to go inside 926 Cony P are deployed effective what are you doing hey you got to stay inside he's got a warrant he has a warrant for his arrest I told him to stop what am I doing with the dogs I'm not doing anything you're disarming your weapon because I don't know what's going on Mark's got a warrant for his arrest you do not have the right to shoot somebody I'm not Sho anyone ilal no Britney pull out your phone 926 count you breaking the law what the heck are you doing male disregarded my commands attempted a taser he was able to make it inside never come on this land again now all the family members are outside here I'm 62 you not have the right to it was a Tas he's got a warrant for his arrest everything get out of our to his Patrol vehicle he noted that his squad car had been moved as he approached his vehicle a red Ford Focus backed out of the driveway Michael was hanging out of the rear window yelling and screaming the deputy then activated his emergency lights and followed the vehicle R vehicle in the res next time you move your vehicle got it offic you're reported for [Applause] this you get a chasing after him into one of those buildings I don't know who was driving the car uh Matt were you driving no I think the first guy out was the driver right yeah no he was in the back seat Britney was driving my girlfriend okay so I don't well then I don't I don't think the boys need to go to jail um who moved the squad car will you tell me that um my brother de will he admit to that that's going to be an issue I mean I'll talk to him but um you're not under arrest I don't intend to keep you under arrest but you're not to leave and that makes me asking you any questions problematic for me um so I'd like to ask you two questions but because you're not free to leave I got to tell you your rights and then you can tell me if you want to answer my questions or not okay all right you do have the right to remain silent anything you say can be used against you in court you do have a right to an attorney if you want a lawyer before questioning one will be appointed for you at public expense if you will answer questions at this time without a laer present you can stop anytime during questioning and request a lawyer you understand those rights y with them in mind can I ask you a chasing from getting access to a vehicle so that was part of the investigation usually when we run away the fobs make the doors lock I don't know why his malfunctioned but you shouldn't have been able to do that so it shouldn't have become a problem I see I shouldn't have just been able to get in yeah so I think he left the door open that's why it was just open okay yeah it won't turn the engine off but it's supposed to lock the doors all right um he's being honest with me he told me he's the one that moved the car um said the door was open so he could get in um at this point I think we kick them three loose um refer for whatever Behavior was there refer him for obstruction I told him that sure for moving the squad car um which obviously delays the entire investigation um but let's let them get to work if we don't have other charges I got none for her yelling and screaming at me from him so that's about it okay all [Applause] right all right we spin around off you okay there you go you'll get a subpoena in the mail that says you got to come to court it's obstruction all right it's interfering with an investigation will it probably be like or something well it's a crime so you got to come to court for it right but will there probably be a ke just the court there will be at the end of the Court there leave either be I mean it's jail time possible up to 90 days I think um or a fine you know the court gets decide your honesty is going to go pretty far let me be very honest with you we've come out sometimes on and off um kind of because of this type of thing you know you get a court date and then somebody doesn't show up it turns into this huge thing bigger than it needs to yeah if Mark would have said a [ __ ] I got a warrant he'd be done with the report and you guys would be at work right now now Mark's looking at a felony so he's going to be eligible for prison he's going to go to jail he's going to sit there probably through the weekend this was a kind of a little thing that went way big didn't need to I see at some point when you get notified to come to court come to court show up yeah um it doesn't need to turn into a huge thing and we don't need to look like the bad guys and right you know yeah I appreciate the honesty I appreciate this is a good behavior this is good you know I get to leave you alone and you get to go to work yeah that's what we're trying to go for yeah I didn't really see exactly what happened I just seen he was I don't know heard something chot or something he said that was a teaser yeah Y and then Mark was running in and like what the heck dogs out there screaming your phone what the heck really you guys get mail here right yep 606 or is there appeal box uh 606 when you get something in the mail they'll have a court date pay ption to it come to it and it's not that day nothing happens except everything gets explained to you okay okay and then you go home all you don't go to jail you don't get arrested or anything just make sure you come to that court date so he doesn't have to come out here someday and say hey come with me and then got I appreciate you finally becoming Cooperative with me I understand it's everything's happening all at once you don't know what's going on I'm sorry for for B was no problem um not helpful I hope you guys can you get it make it to work on time yeah us too he to moved his car a long time ago you know that right yeah all right probably if we don't end up finding Mark today tell him to turn himself in if we keep hunting it it's a pain in our butts and at the end he's going to have to come in and and get booked any I I've worked with Mark I don't know how many times probably 5 six seven times and 90% of the time is calm full and Cooperative with me I was assuming that's how it was going to go today I don't know if he just upset about something were already being a problem so that's they won't get out of our D all right guys drive safely okay the deputies resumed patrolling the area where Mark was last seen until a k9 Handler arrived the K9 LED them to a nearby residence where a male occupant initially claimed to check for Mark but appeared evasive after some time Mark emerged from the house with his hands up complied with commands and was handcuffed and secured in a patrol vehicle he was transported to the county jail without incident Mark was charged with three bail jumping felonies which were dismissed but read into the record however he was found guilty of resisting and obstructing an officer as well as a bail jumping misdemeanor as a result he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay $665 60 in fines Michael was also charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and driving a vehicle without consent but these charges
