call came through an Abrupt 911 disconnect with male voices arguing in the background the female caller's final words were unclear before the line went dead moments later the phone rang again only to disconnect once more with urgency Rising the officer and a colleague activated their emergency lights and race toward the scene what they encountered next was anything but routine acely fighting now they were they were how many my boyfriend son of my her boyfriend any no were where at upstairs all the way at the top straight through the doors everything's unlocked yep hey where they at no you told them we're on scene no M this it MM Oregon Police Department responsible somebody mad at me hey what's going on who you here with I don't know hey you need to talk to them let me grab my things remained tense as law enforcement attempted to detain them while they continued resisting verbally it will not happen so we going we going right in cuz I will not happen's if somebody touch me it's then now you can't thank you so much nothing wrong I'm foing the during transport to the hospital Garrett repeatedly threatened officers attempted to spit on them and made violent statements against law enforcement he remained aggressive in the hospital hurling profanities at staff attempting to bite through restraints and making additional threats he was eventually secured and transported to jail Garrett faced multiple felony and misdemeanor charges including battery disorderly conduct and resisting an officer he was found guilty of attempting to discharge bodily fluid at a public safety worker disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer all due to guilty pleas meanwhile the felony battery charges and one misdemeanor battery charge were dismissed on the prosecutor's
