on July 17th 2022 in Marshfield Wisconsin an officer conducted a traffic stop in response to a vehicle that had disregarded a stop sign hi there off you stopped recurring on the stop sign back there what's the reason for that I stop you did not stop at all you may have been slowing down but you're nowhere near stopping you have driver's license Group insurance insurance I'm still waiting on they're having problems with the insurance company okay so it's not insured right now not right now okay but I don't know why I see this says it's not a driver's license is that going to be accurate as well probably I I do do you have a valid license my fiance does okay but you don't not right now I'm in the process of getting it all right what process is that I filed the papers out and I'm just waiting for the state to reissue it so you're evoked or suspended or what are you I'm eligible to get it back I was suspended ended at one point okay what's your current address where you coming from tonight from the house I was going to go to go out to Walmart to get some salad dressing okay solid dressing yeah your fiance can't do that she's not feeling good oh okay um is she able to come pick Rapids Police Department I'm going to ask you nicely do so otherwise we'll break a window and remove you from the vehicle then mer is paying for the window we don't want to do that all you have to do is open up your door and why because you have a warrant for your arrest the thing is that's it's a bogus warranted it for no reason why do you think it's for no reason cuz I my fiance can't even tell you warrant that they supposedly have on me which for resisting an officer yep I never struck the officer sir I never resisted resisting or obstructing is what it is so I never did any of it okay here's the deal though Jason if you refuse to get out of your vehicle and we have to forcefully remove you from the vehicle you will be resist and you'll get additional criminal charges for resisting I don't want to give you those charges I'm sure you don't want those right Jason there's a proper way of of disputing criminal charges and this is not the right way by refusing to get out of the car okay it's just going to make the situation worse I never got to say patient Jason that that's between you and the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department yeah you've been decent with me I think I've been decent with you right I'm just trying to avoid a big headache and a lot of paperwork okay you don't want more criminal charges I don't want to give them to you can you please just step out of the vehicle and you can resolve that situation my fiance gets here okay that's not how this works okay so please grab your phone and and anything else you'll need and step on out okay this is Jason I what I'm trying right foot all the way in I know trying to catch my breath sit back all the way look away from me what Jason was taken to the hospital where he was medically cleared before being taken to jail for his warrant he was given citations for operating while suspended no motor vehicle insurance and failure to stop at a stop sign he was charged with and found guilty of resisting or obstructing an officer and sentenced to two years probation
